Jennifer Aniston (previously Lolavie)

I first discovered this fragrance about a year ago when a friend of mine came to visit and I gave her a hug. "What are you wearing?!" were my first words to her that day. Now, I'm known as the perfume person amongst those who know me, and none of my friends (or even acquaintances for that matter) really even wear perfume much less have more then 2. So when I discovered something new and beautiful on one of my very own friends I was ecstatic! She told me it was Jennifer Aniston, whom she is a huge fan of and her words were, "It just smells how I think Jennifer would smell. Light, airy, clean and beautiful" And I concur- it does smell how I think JA would smell (and knowing this is supposed to smell like her favorite perfume, Child I know the reason behind that lol). Anyway, I battled myself for a year. The reviews say longevity are terrible, do I want to smell just like a friend of mine (not that there is anything wrong with that, I just know scent is personal), does it really smell as good as I remember? Will I actually wear it? It's not my usual style. Well I finally couldn't take it anymore and bought the thing off Amazon. Let me tell you- I should have bought it a long time ago! This is absolutely one of the most beautiful and relaxed perfumes I have had the pleasure of owning. To me, it smells like a very clean, soapy Jasmine. And I don't mean soapy like in a JLO way really. This smells super clean, like maybe you were showering in the rain in Hawaii using Jasmine flowers as your soap. It is a bit sweet, but I don't find it cloying at all. They longevity is pretty bad, and knowing that I had also ordered the Kuumba Made Pikake Lei oil in hopes that I could extend the life of it. I feel ultra feminine and carefree in this fragrance and I can see this being a staple in my collection.

It took me a while to review this perfume. I got it in a swap in the winter, didn't think much of it - thought it was just of poor projection and of poor lasting power. I went on holidays last week and I wanted to pack something beachy, cheap'ish (flying with hand luggage only), something I would not care to finish off on the spot, something I would not care about if I lost it somewhere on the beach or left it in a hotel... In hot Mediterranean air this perfume, that I hadn't thought much of before, gained a whole new personality. It became intoxicating, musky, exotic, citrussy and femminine. Projection became bigger and it lasted on my clothes for days. Men were charmed by it, it worked like a magic spell. I heard 'you smell so beatiful' more than I can count, from males and females. This musky jasmine became the most beautiful skin scent and as the sun went down - sandalwood and amber lingered on my tanned skin and in the warm evening air - it worked magic on me and on people around me. Now I am reconsidering buying a bottle of this beauty. Sure, I used a lot of it, but it will bring the most wonderful memories of hot evenings, beautiful people, skylight/coast bars, endless flirting and beachy breeze. I am now wary of judging perfumes too quickly, some of them just need the right moment to shine. It might not satisfy many, just want to mention that I am a huge fan of anything cotton-like, clean, musky and slightly soapy. Combine that with my beloved white florals (jasmine) and a beachy vibe - I got myself a winner. PS I don't know about you, but if I hear from a beautiful man these magic words 'you smell beautiful' - I nearly melt. It's a much, much better compliment than "you look great' ;)

WHAT A FRUSTRATION!!! Well well well...I guess I shouldn't be surprised. But the dozens of reviews stating extremely poor longevity and poor projection...I regret to say, are 100% true. To go on a positive note for a second...I will say that judging SOLELY the fragrance itself.....is amazing. One of my favorites matter of fact (And I own about 150 fragrances.) Until now...Nicole Richie's first fragrance was another fragrance I have this same experience with absolutely LOVING the fragrance in itself, but being so frustrated with the longevity and sillage. But at least with Nicole Richie's "Nicole," drenching myself in the fragrance will get me a decent 5 hours of decent projection. With this...within 45-60 minutes it's a skin scent and after 2.5 hours...it's gone...drenching myself doesn't help. So damn frustrating because the scent is beautiful. Matter of fact...it's such a beautiful fragrance that in terms of a fragrance that evokes a simple, clean yet sexy, soapy, breezy smell...this smells so nice, it makes JLO's Glow fragrance seem like a joke. Even with all of that being said...I think I'm going to always have the big 2.9 ounce bottle in my collection for those rainy weekends I'm just lounging around the house watching movies cuddled up, or cleaning or something. It smells so good...I'll find a purpose for it. Lol. Give it a go everyone. It's inexpensive on Amazon ($22-$25 for big bottle) and smells nice. Deff recommended for use in intimate situations or lounging around days. Scent Itself : 10/10 Sillage : 3/10 Longevity : 3/10 Overall Rating : 7/10

I love this, it's beachy, sandy, definitely smells like the beach with a touch of salt water. Smells to me like when you've been at the beach all day and your skin and hair has that salt water thing going on. I also get the lily quite strongly and that's fine with me, I love white florals. This one also smells clean and is totally wearable for everyday, I live no where near the beach unfortunately :( so I love this as it transports me there every time, it just has this relaxed vibe to it, smells like a hint of neroli I can detect in it also. Unoffensive and office appropriate whilst still being a bit different. I can't understand the bad reviews on longevity?? Personally, this lasts forever on me, it's not loud for ages but I can still smell it at the end of the day and even the next morning quite a bit, I wonder if some batches aren't as potent? the only gripe I have is the design of the bottle. The cap has totally broken on mine and now the perfume is leaking out when I spray it and evaporating too! :( Better use it up quick! Anyways love this, totally beach vibe (not coconutty or pina coladary not that type of beachy) but clean fresh water, sand and musky skin! I am very interested to try her other two but unfortunately I can't find them anywhere in Europe?

This is a pretty, safe, familiar scent. Oddly I don't get the citrus until the very end, when a faint hint of it peeks through the fading musk. Citrus on me is usually the first to arrive, first to leave, so that was a fun surprise. ☺️ This is a fairly linear white floral musk on me, but lovely just the same. Jasmine and musk are the prominent notes with my chemistry. Not much development, it just gradually softens like layers peeling off, stripping away one floral note, then another, then slowly peeling back that last layer of musk to reveal that hint of juicy bergamot before fading away. This one doesn't necessarily feel beachy to me, and I'm good with that. I have good beachy, summery scents and was glad to find a light, white scent that doesn't invoke a beach scene--it's much more versatile. Safe for work, suitable for play. I'd wear this to brunch, an early dinner, almost any professional or social gathering. I think it's appropriate for anything shy of true formal events--it leans a little more casual than evening gown, but high end enough for a cocktail dress 👗. This might be my favorite white musk scent, and I'll get plenty of wear from it this spring and summer. Picked up from Jomashop in perfect condition for a fantastic price.

People on Fragrnatica advised I try this. The heavens shined upon me when I saw it at Marshalls for under $20. I snapped it up even though it was unlabeled. I couldnt believe my experience with this. I smelled it and thought immediately "no" - it smelled like strong honeysuckle and nursing homes. i HATED it. Then a few days later I sprayed it again, and it smelled nothing like it had smelled before to me- casual beach, creamy and sweet. I LOVE THIS SO MUCH. It is my new favorite. My husband loves it too. Doesn't last long though, so i greedily reapply. It is supposed to smell like Child, which I now will try a decant of. If you look up child on fragrantica, you will see people say it smells like kuumba made pikake. I will have to go find that and smell it. Anyway, translating scents into words if just so hard, but it does smell like the beach to me, salty and creamy, it has a sweetness to it but not too sweet. it is cool but friendly, kind of like dave brubeck's take that. I just adore it. And i would love to know how it smelled completely different to me - maybe something rando was stuck in the spray bottle and i needed to get it out? Don't know. But after testing many perfumes over the past few months, this is my favorite.

For all the jasmine dominant perfumes I have, this is still one of my favorites. It's not a heady white floral, but a clean white floral with a slight beachy feel. I have often seen this compared to Susan Owen's Child perfume, and now that I own that in oil form, I can compare. Is it similar? Yes, it is, but Child has what unfortunately turns on my skin into a laundry detergent accord on the far dry down that I find a little off-putting. I don't find Child beachy at all, being mostly a white floral fragrance with a very soapy element whereas this has a slight similarity to Bobbi Brown's Beach, but it is not as much a sunscreen scent as that. This vaguely gives you that element, but it really is more about the white florals of jasmine and lily with a touch of powdery violet. They are anchored by the musk and amber on a sandalwood base. Simple and simply pretty. Even though I am a little disappointed in Child, I have been using it with this to up the silage and longevity. I put a few dabs on of that and then top it with JA. The musk in JA tamps down the harsh soapiness in Child while amping up the white floral aspect. The combination is really beautiful. If you have both, give it a try.

I got a set of Jennifer's 3 rollerball perfumes for Xmas since I was very interested in testing them all before committing to the full-size bottles. I am not a flowery scent person, therefore, pretty much all of my perfumes are fruity, however, I find very fun to have something different & new in my collection. I truly enjoy wearing Lolavie. Maybe because it's so light, relaxed, playful, makes me think of sunshine, warm weather...early evening in a garden. It's not as beachy, oceanic as Near Dusk, though the ad has Jennifer sitting on the beach, yet, it's feminine and clean, its drydown is very pleasant, I love smelling it on my clothes and skin when I go to bed. The longevity is not amazing, yet, refrain from putting too much of this perfume at once as it will start smelling soapy. One or two spritzes every once in a while work for me. Even my picky and nose-sensitive husband, who doesn't like flowery perfumes said he liked it and it definitely doesn't make any of us think of an old lady's strong flowery fragrance! Even before I was done with the rollerball, I bought a 30ml/10z bottle on Ebay since it was only 9.70$, what a catch!

I bought this as a blind buy and as soon as I sprayed it on I went right online and purchased another bottle for my sister. She's crazy about beachy scents and this has to be the beachiest (sp?) scent I've ever smelled. I gave her Replica 'Beach Walk' for her birthday, but something tells me she is going to like this even more. This really smells like you spent a day at the beach, including sun, sand, ocean, and suntan lotion. It's not a tropical scent, and I don't get any coconut (thank goodness!), just a beautiful jasmine and musk and a few other notes that are so well blended it really managed to capture a day at the shore. While this fragrance stays pretty linear, that’s okay, as I think it is fabulous from start to finish. Silage and longevity are fantastic on me too. While seemingly really simple it’s actually super-complex just in how it managed to capture an idea so perfectly. I think this is wonderful. I am so happy I took the plunge and put my prejudice against celebrity scents aside to purchased this. Edit - I don't understand the complaints about longevity. It lasts an eternity on me.

I enjoy the way this smells, but it goes to bed way too early. This was recommended to me by a fellow Fragrantican as a close substitute for a long-gone favorite from my youth: Love's Musky Jasmin. I'm not bad at spelling, there really was no E at the end of Jasmin with this perfume. Anyway, it's almost impossible to find online and is multiple hundreds of $ when it infrequently appears. Jennifer Aniston, formerly Lolavie, is as close to it as anything else I've smelled, although JA is cooler, quieter and more well-behaved than my beloved MJ. I see the two of them as a couple of girls that look very much alike, but dress exactly the opposite. JA always wears "proper" clothes and is everywhere she's supposed to be exactly on time, whereas her 80s counterpart MJ wears whatever she wants, stays out all night and comes in cussing at 10 am. While I can't recall the length and sillage of the Love's, JA falls pretty short in both areas. I wouldn't have bought this if it wasn't recommended as a replacement for my old favorite, but this was a fun way to try a new perfume, glad I did it!

Wow! Fragrantica never lets me down! Another hit perfume for me! I picked up this lovely fragrance on clearance at Walgreen's for $15! I'm loving it so much! Light enough for the persons with sensitive noses, but strong enough to get compliments when a gentle breeze blows just right. I can tell when a fragrance is a hit when my 11 yr old nefew comes to hug me, and he always says," I don't wanna let you go. You smell so pretty!" Even to the point my niece wanted some, so.I spritzed a cotton ball & put it in a empty pill bottle so she could have her own "perfume puff." It definitely is a beautiful skin musk. The initial burst of floral...not an overwhelming kind. Usually rose & jasmine don't agree with me...but her mix is awesome! Then the dry down is a beautiful light musky with just a tinge of salty-ness...like drying laundry on a line seaside on a sunny cloudless day. (Closes eyes...and drafts away.) Put on your boyfriend jeans & flip flops, and white tee, and a bright scarf & sunglasses...you will want to go for a stroll & sip a tea. I know I did!

:) :) A warm salty jasmine. Simple and pure. I really like the abundance of jasmine in there. Yet it's still light and airy. Not heady or nauseating like some other jasmine-heavy perfumes (michael kors glam jasmine for example...). An hour into it the flowers faded and I could smell the creamy sandal wood. The subtle saltiness in it is reminiscent of the salty summer air at the beach. I think it adds a unique quality to it and makes it very much resemble amazing grace by philosophy. The strength of this perfume is not excellent. The first time I used it, I sprayed myself at least 10 times. I then drove for 2 hours to visit a friend. When I saw her I asked her if she liked my perfume, she told me she couldn't smell anything on me. That should give you a picture of its longevity. However, you can get a big bottle of this for under $15 nowadays, so who cares if you had to spray yourself 20 times a day. Well I don't. :p So bottom line, I like this one very much. A very unique scent, unlike most the other celebrity scents out there. :) :)

At first Jennifer Aniston's perfume is very strong jasmine, a little screechy and harsh. At the beginning stages it definitely resembles the classic Sand and Sable - however, this resemblance is short lived and superficial. S&S has lots of gardenia and remains a power floral on me all the way throughout, pretty linear, just slightly softening in intensity. Jennifer Aniston's warms on your skin and morphs from loud jasmine to a warm, musky floral that smells like dryer sheets - very sexy dryer sheets though! A your-skin-but-better scent, which is my current favorite kind. The sillage isn't huge by any stretch, even in the very beginning, but one whiff on your skin and the smeller will be compelled to draw closer to breathe in more of that heavenly scent. I think the marketing for this perfume is perfect - tousled hair, warm skin, natural makeup (if any at all). I love this. Give it a shot - if you are a fan of fragrances like Glow and prefer subtle clean scents this is right up your alley.

Oh I love this perfume SO MUCH. I use a lot of JA's fragrances to ward mosquitoes in the summer (it works great and better than any bug repellent, just spray around your house and the bugs won't go in there as long as she's there) But I never considered wearing her perfumes, I REALLY love this one and the soft musky jasmine is so dreamy and sweet. This is my IDEAL jasmine, super feminine. BUT WHY DID I HAVE TO SCROLL THROUGH THE REVIEWS?!! Everyone says this smells like nursing homes/hospital and now I can't get that image out of my head! It does indeed smell like that generic perfume smell that people use in hospitals...the kind that makes you wonder what the heck happened in that room before they sanitize the crap out of it then sprayed this fragrance to mask it. OMG the words burned a hole in me and now i can't see it the same without always wondering why Jennifer Aniston would make this. First bug spray, and now hospital spray.

I bought this sometime between 2013 and 2017. I think this is so good, amazing (until it goes away, which is fast). I have no ability to identify notes (yet!), but I can say this: this fragrance has the essence of the golden hour, sunset, or twilight at the beach with someone you love who wears suntan lotion (I would never wear suntan lotion because I don't want skin cancer but I love the hint of it you get in this fragrance, it's nostalgic). It's not only suntan lotion, there are floral notes and possibly even a fruit, but the suntan lotion aspect makes it perfect for summer or when you miss summer and need to remember what it's like to be warm outside (and at night!). And an anecdote for what it's worth: I wore this on a date in the summer of 2019; the guy said he normally hated fragrance, but that he liked this one (lucky me :-/). So if you are afraid your scent will alienate men who hate perfume, maybe give this a go. XD

I used to own this fragrance, probably it's been 9 years ago now. I picked it up on clearance at Sephora, and I remember when I first got it, I was pretty disappointed by how weak the scent was. It also didn't smell like the kind of jasmine I was expecting, not like the jasmines my mom grew at home. But with time, I grew to appreciate Jennifer Aniston (the perfume). I started spraying my scarves with it liberally, my light summer scarves, and that made the scent last and last (I even got compliments!). It bloomed then into this musky marvel, perfect for summer humidity. Now I love this scent. It's a fantastic musky clean jasmine, the musk is nice and warm and full, not thin and sharp. It's sweet and simple, and not quite like any other beachy jasmine that I have smelled. I ran through it pretty quickly because I used to spray so much on, but for the price, I didn't really mind. I miss this one.

Draws compliments..really like this perfume. I love the clean and floral , yet spicy scent it gives off. It does remind me of Sand and Sable perfume, just a lighter version. . This perfume does not last on me , but its not overbearing. I enjoy the hint of citrus it has, it does not give me that "bugspray" smell like some strong citrus too. I really enjoy the white florals they used here, without it being too over the top. This would pair well with any light floral lotion like jasmine or gardenia. I'm gonna wear this one a lot. Ps- I Finally figured out what the Jasmine in this perfume really reminds me of... a long time ago Healing Garden made a Jasmine body mist and lotion ( its smelled nothing like BBW). This has the same wonderful floral jasmine, spicy smell, just wish it lasted longer! Clean , lovely peppery jasmine and some citrus**

One of, if not my favorite celeb fragrances. Hubby bought the set for me for Valentine's Day and I just love it. I can certainly smell the jasmine but on me it settles down to a light floral scent that makes me feel innocent and sexy at the same time. Kinda weird, because my 73 year old mother LOVES this perfume too (I ended up giving her a bottle for Mothers Day) and this is also my 16 year old daughter's signature scent for spring and summer. Only 2 minor quibbles. One, I wish the longevity was a bit better and 2, the shower gel doesn't really smell like the perfume and lotion. Otherwise, I love this and it'd be my signature if it wasn't my daughter's and my mom's second signature. 3 generations approve :-)

I have been searching for a dupe of this forever, i love this fragrance so much but the longevity is next to nothing. This needs an EDP or an absolue with some raw (non synthetic) ingredients...i would pay top dollar for it lol. I have never smelled a jasmine mix like this in any other perfume and i want it so bad! I looked at the list above but i do not want to wear a perfume that says "child perfume" on it, not to mention that i couldn't even find a bottle of it to test if i wanted. Please JA, i know we've had our differences in the past but please get your act together and release a more powerful version of this fragrance!

For anyone interested - the drugstore brand Bodycology released a body mist called Floral Rush that smells a LOT like Jennifer Aniston's perfume. According to Bodycology the mist contains notes of gardenia, rose, and peony, but it definitely has more to it than that. In fact I would have sworn there was jasmine in there instead of the peony. Regardless it has that same sort of sexy summer floral feel. I like Jennifer Aniston's perfume because it just has that something more, but I think Floral Rush will make a great compliment to the perfume , and at under $5 for a big bottle it's a steal. I recommend it!

Glancing at the other reviews I find it astounding that so many of us smell completely different notes in this scent! My nose is not very sophisticated but I get the Coppertone suntan lotion vibe and that's always been one of my comfort scents that reminds me of good times. I'm not a big fan of jasmine normally, and if it is present here it is soft. I do get a hint of honeysuckle. Overall this is a perfect summer choice -- fresh and happy. So many of my go-to scents simply do not work in summer - they actually make me feel ill -- but Jennifer Aniston is perfect and I am happy to own it.

This fragrance is more of a clean, musky skin aroma that doesn't shine too bright. This fragrance begins with a lovely and feminine combination of rose and jasmine, slightly soapy and creamy in character. The most flowery component of this scent is definitely the hint of buttery lily towards the centre. The base is a simple combination of sandalwood and white musk. It has a crisp, smooth, fresh, and easygoing scent about it. It's never overbearing or heavy; simply a light, clear, airy jasmine. Pleasant and affectionate! Absolutely stunning.

WoW! This was a really pleasant surprise!! I bought it for a steel in the shop last week, it costed about 4,95 E, and, I didn't have the time to sniff the tester. -This is a way better perfume than EL Pleasures, as it reminds me of, my moms fav, and I instantly felled in love with this sjasminy perfume. It only smells sjasmin in my nose, sjasmin and sjasmin, and more sjasmin. So, if you are into sjasmin, you must have this little gem! It's perfect for everybody, and I rate it a solid 10/10.

What a beautiful fragrance, a soft, inoffensive floral. I mainly get the lilies with hints of the jasmine. It's perfect for everyday wear, especially to the office. However my problem, as with most of the reviewers, is its longevity. This fragrance has very poor lasting power, I find myself having to reapply it every hour and a half. It's such a shame because if this stuff actually lasted 5-6 hours then I wouldn't mind reapplying it. Once I'm done I don't think I'm going to repurchase it.

Jasmine, violets, roses, clean musk, and citrus candy. I'm not usually into hard core florals, but I find lolavie so easy to wear. It reminds me a little bit of a laundry detergent type smell. This fragrance to me is casual, day time, easy, and clean. Perfect for work. While it's not one of my favorites I'm on my 3rd bottle. I don't have a problem with longevity or projection. But I am the type of person who wears only 1-2 sprays of perfume. My nose picks up a lot.

3 years after my first review, I still love this perfume so so much. I don’t have anything else like it in my collection. It’s the smell of jasmine, sea salt and sun screen. One whiff of this takes me to the beach at sunset, warm fuzzy breeze flowing through my soaked hair... It brings me a comforting and serene vibe whenever I smell it. My favorite scent on a lazy weekend. I would just cover myself with it. This is the only celebrity that has amazed me.

Absolutely GORGEOUS. Perfect. Imagine you with your loved one(s) walking on the beach at sunset barefoot,plain white cotton t-shirt,cut offs and your blonde hair in a bun with strands highlighting your golden tan face. Salty ocean air,the water tickling your toes with sand digging in your feet.Sun still slightly penetrating your skin with a slight smell of Coppertone and Tiare...Lazy,hazy,crazy summer days...

Smells so similar to Banana boat after sun lotion aloe! (For fellow beach or tan lovers) :) I really love the perfume smell. But it's too weak for the price. 10 minutes after spray I can't smell it at all. Really wasteful. Buy Sand and Sable perfume instead. Similar. I could literally douse myself in the Lolavie perfume and 20 minutes later barely smell it. I really dont want to apply that much alcohol..

I love this fragrance. It's a very soft feminine scent to me. I love jasmine so this fragrance is right up my alley. If you are not a fan of jasmine heavy perfume, you will not like this. For me, it's definitely an easy reach perfume for the spring/summer. It just brings up those good memory of nice weather, and gardening in my back yard. I love it. I will say it does not last long.

SUNSCREEN! Shocked that there are no notes of neroli in this because that's a majority of what my nose picks up on. A soapy and clean smelling beauty. Does it smell like a hospital or a nursing home? Yes...but don't let that stop you from enjoying this. It does smell a bit clinical, but I mostly associate this smell with the beach and the sand. So cozy and warm.

Wow, I don't understand the many reports of poor longevity! This lasts crazy long on me - I spritzed some on yesterday midday, and I could still smell it on my wrists when I got up this morning. Maybe it has something to do with body chemistry? Or maybe it's because mine is an old bottle from when it was just called "Jennifer Aniston," not "Lolavie"?

One of the most (if not THE most) pure Jasmine perfumes I have ever come across. Which ain't no bad thing. :) It is never heavy or overpowering; just a light, clean, breezy jasmine...like a delicate whiff through the kitchen window from the garden outside. Heavenly. *** Kitty rating: 10/10!

I am so surprised that I like this fragrance. At first I smelled grape soda, I don't know why. But as it sat on my skin, it turned into a clean slightly musky smell. I don't know why not that many people like it. It's a very nice everyday summer scent. Not offensive at all.

I will buy this because it smells fresh and sexy. The pic on the box suits it perfectly. I'll use it as a body freshener as it's rather light and dissipates within an hour on me. It's like a gentle, more comfortable version of Sarah Jessica Parker's LOVELY. Jen did good.

Initial spray is not the best, but give it a few seconds to dissipate and then it smells lovely. The beachy scents are the initial impression and then dries down to more floral scents. Love the smell, just wish it lasted longer. But good value for the price.

I just got this in a mini this week and I love it! When you want to smell clean right out of the pool salty and warmed by the sun this is it! This smells like Pure Grace and Amazing Grace blended together! Citrus + Rose with a little creamy sandalwood. YUM!

This is a beautiful soft jasmine and citrus smell. WHO wants a heavy or intense perfume in the middle of a pandemic while mostly living indoors? This will be your go to fragrance to lift up your mood after a day or evening shower! Trust me

I'm going through a bit of a rough time at the moment. I spritzed this on this morning when I was getting ready and it's just what I needed! It's a real pick-me-upper. So salty and ocean-like, airy and clean. I love this!

I believe this to be the best of the many clean, soapy fragrances out there. Wish it wasn’t discontinued. I do get a subtle hint of citrus. The Jasmine is top notch . Feel good, lovely, clean fragrance.

I love this perfume, it's clean, soft, pretty and quite unique! I agree it doesn't last long and the bottle is a little boring.

My gripe is the same as everyone else. Great scent, smells better than Sand and Sable to me, and a very short lasting power!

I love it, reminds of suntan lotion. lol but I like those types of smells I guess.

I am not a fan of "celebrity perfumes" .. but this one is nice and subtle.

jasmine, lily and musk; a perfectly beautiful sweet white floral

I love this one! Its pure jasmine and I love jasmine!

Right after spraying, I swear there was tuberose. I think it is the combination of lily over jasmine. The lily doesn't last. The perfume morphs into clean airy jasmine with no spice. Some reviewers say this smells beachy and they are probably referring to the clean, fresh airy quality of this perfume. Other reviewers equate beachy to the coconut or fig scent in suntan lotions so they are disappointed when they sniff JA. This perfume smells fresh, light, airy, inoffensive, floral, non-spicy, non-ambery - like soap. It will suit someone who may be a newbie to perfumes and haven't yet learned to like/love ambers, spice, incense, leathers or big-bomb white flowers. Most people are anosmic to musk, which this perfume quickly reaches within minutes, so it seems as if this perfume is gone within a half-hour. I noticed that most reviewers who posted in the winter seem to say this perfume lasted longer than those who posted in the warmer weather. I, too, cannot smell this after an hour but my co-worker said she can smell it faintly after four hours (like dryer sheets). Jennifer dresses quite classically (no frills, flounces), in clean lines and wears her hair so cleanly (straight, no hair adornment); looks excellent in jeans and tee - this perfume perfectly embodies her. I would wear this scent at work or on the plane where I need something with soft sillage and very inoffensive. I think this should have been called a body spray rather than a perfume though. Luckily, it only cost me $20 at Shoppers. One spray on me: Sillage: skin scent Longevity: about two hours to my nose but apparently still noticeable to others Rating: 2/5 for poor projection and longevity but 4/5 for its clean smell Edit: will keep my bottle since my pre-teen daughter said it smells 9/10 good on me!

Lolavie has surprised me to say the least. I expected a clean, soft floral, but not one that was so well composed. This fragrance does not smell like your typical celebrity release at all. Lolavie opens with a beautiful and feminine blend of rose and jasmine, somewhat soapy and creamy in nature. The scent is supposedly inspired by Jennifer's love for night-blooming jasmine and the beaches of Greece. I can actually sense these aromas in her fragrance, and I think, that in itself is very impressive. There's a hint of buttery lily towards the heart which is probably the most floral aspect to this fragrance. Like Eva Longoria, Jennifer Aniston isn't a huge fan of perfume, so this fragrance release is more of a clean, musky skin-scent that doesn't radiate too strongly. The base is a basic blend of sandalwood and white musk. It smells a little bit like crisp, white laundry. There's also a sweet candle accord, which fascinates me greatly. I like Lolavie because of its soft, fresh and casual feel. Unfortunately what dampened the mood for me was its lack of lasting strength. I had placed this fragrance on my wishlist, only to remove it because it only lasted a few hours on my skin.

This fragrance is like a soft cloud of jasmine and lily that envelops me and makes me smile every time. So understated, airy and innocent. It's relatively linear, never losing the jasmine notes but slowly developing a hint of sweet creaminess as time goes on. I was surprised both at Lolavie's longevity and at the fact it didn't turn on me, as my chemistry tends to dislike white florals, especially jasmine. It never goes to that weird acrid urine place, and I can't imagine this would offend passersby. If you're expecting something with character or complexity, something that will have others sitting up and taking notice, I think you may be disappointed. This is not a daring scent, but its accessibility doesn't detract from its loveliness. I usually tend towards darker, complex gourmands or cold aquatic rose-florals, but reach for Lolavie when I just want to smell fresh and pretty. It's never going to become my signature, but makes a lovely simple treat after an extra long shower on a lazy day. My small bottle was purchased from a popular beauty retailer at a heavy discount, and I'm very happy with the return on my investment.

When this perfume was first released I tested it in Walgreens and absolutely loved it....couldn't stop smelling my arm! The 2-3 sprays from the tester bottle lasted all day and lingered on my clothing even longer. This was going to be my IT fragrance....I was in love. Plus the fact that it is supposed to smell exactly like Child, how great! I asked my husband to buy it for my next birthday. Well I finally got my dream perfume and wow...what a disappointment. I could drown myself in this stuff now and it doesn't last an hour! The first 5 minutes is the only good part of this scent....beautiful jasmine, salt, sun, a little citrus, the ideal beach scent. But after 5 minutes it turns into an "old lady" scent on me then totally disappears an hour later. I had such high hopes for this perfume! I can't believe this is the same perfume that I tested in Walgreens and loved so much. Reformulation?? Diluted product?? I would recommend Bobbi Brown Beach over this if you are looking for a beachy scent - it smells better in my opinion and lasts longer.
