I received an almost empty, well-aged bottle of this recently. It’s nothing I would have ever bought on my own, nothing about it looked like I would like it better than what I already owned. I’ve been wearing this for the last 4 days... and was surprised how much I love it. I should preface this by saying I’m a perfume hobbyist, I simply enjoy the experience. I’m not chasing the current perfume favorites - I often can’t afford to, and they just cycle-through too rapidly. I also no longer assume the oldies aren’t for me (thank you White Diamonds for teaching me that lesson so I don’t miss out on these gems!). I just like perfumes. Why I preface this is because a couple perfumes seemed to have their moments a decade ago and are now regarded as very much “out of fashion”. But not to me. The two specific ones I call back when I’m wearing J.Luxe, are: Flowerbomb and La Vie est Belle. I never wore these in their hay-day, so to me they aren’t attached with any specific time... and therefor are timeless beauties for me. So with that said: how does J.Luxe not have patchouli?! Not the kind that’s in older scents from the 70’s, but the 2010’s kind? I smell it, and I love what I’m getting! I have BBW Into the Night and am comparing them today... Into the Night is much sweeter, with less of a balance to it, and much more raspberry - although it is stronger. I think if this was sold in a 100mL bottle I would buy it.

I had recently came across a gift of this fragrance at Burlington. I already had the rollerball of this, so i was familiar with this fragrance, but to my recollection, this scent wasn't very impressive, so it just sat and collected dust. I'm not sure what changed, but upon the first spray, it was an instant love. Jluxe is one of those fruity fragrances that suites the older 35+ crowd just as much as the younger crowd. 🖤 In the opening, there's an interesting and strong blend of Pineapple, Amber and Bergamot that pretty much dominates the entire fragrance. You don't really get much of the Raspberry or floral notes, atleast not to my nose. It's simple, but unique. The Cedar and Musk are more detectable as the fragrance fades. The only downside with Jluxe is that it lasted only 3 hours on my skin, which is not the worst performing fragrance I've experienced. It's still worth wearing, but like i mentioned before, the opening is kind of strong, which mislead me to think that this had potential to last much longer lol. But overall, i still love this fragrance and for $16.99, i can't say it's a waste of money. Scent: 8/10 Packaging: 7/10 Performance: 4/10

Great line. Beautiful smell, stronger than love and lust, but I really love all three of them, the whole line. To be honest, I smelled glow before and it was awful, strong soap and cleaning agent. So I’ve read the notes very carefully comparing them to glow series and came to the conclusion that this line is a hit. Still I was afraid as it was a blind buy. But hey, they’re gorgeous! This one is like noir version, the night, the dark composition, elegant with a black mini dress.

Oh my i love this! I saw it at Ross today and had to get it because it only cost $10.99 for 1 oz bottle. Checked fragrantica notes and its right up my alley. This blind buy was love at first sniff when i got home. It smells warm, soft, powdery, ambery and sweet. Too bad it doesn’t have 3oz bottles coz’ i will definitely buy a bigger one. The prices at Ebay are ridiculous too. So i feel very happy and lucky i found this gem at Ross.

OMG, I love this one! It opens fruity and delicious, then becomes more floral as it settles. The performance isn’t amazing, so don’t be afraid to spray generously. It was recommended to me on TikTok as a unisex fragrance, but I don’t really agree. It definitely leans feminine to my nose. Still, that doesn’t bother me at all, I enjoy it a lot.

This is ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!!!! I found the gift set of this and J LOVE @ Burlington today! I am a collector of J. Lo's fragrances and these did not disappoint! It's fruity, smooth and sexy!I can't stop sniffing my hand! If you are a fan of J. Lo's scents this is for you! IF YOU SEE IT BUY IT!!!!!!

When I first sprayed this perfume on skin, I didn't think I would like it. But, just give it time. After about 30 mins you get a beautiful smooth amber fruit fragrance. This was a blind buy, I have no regrets. I will repurchase.

JLuxe starts with a juicy-sweet blast at the beginning which is intense, glamorous, and short-lived. Is this pineapple and bergamot causing all the excitement? It shortly gives way to sweet, powdery heart of iris root, violet, rose....Hard to tell individual notes since it all becomes vague floral fruity here. This Jlo perfume has the same powder sweet quality that Forever Glowing has, but they don't share any official notes which makes me wonder why? Maybe they just poured in the patented Jlo liquid base, which is lovely. I'm not harshing on it for this, and I really love Forever Glowing, but it has spice and leather, where JLuxe seems fruitier with soft amber and subtle cedar woods. But they have the same sweet, lovely powder effect. I really wish the special juicy opening lasted longer, but the body of this fragrance is really sweet and powdery. Quite lovely, lasting around 5 hours before softly trailing away.

I really like this. I notice the pineapple. And it also smells familiar. When I first sprayed it, I thought “This smells nice, like a perfume.” I think another poster said the same thing. It reminded me of something but I don’t know what. I wonder if it’s similar to a popular perfume of the late 80’s when I was learning about perfume as a teen. I did wear Miami Glow back in the day so that could be it. Maybe a fragrance a classmate wore. Maybe a hairspray smelled like this. Maybe a parent I knew wore a similar scent. Like I said, it smells very familiar. Navy perfume? Salon Selectives hairspray? Lauren perfume? It actually has several similar notes to Lauren, along with the similar bottle. I just don’t know. But I like it. Edit: One year later I note a lot of amber and a touch of patchouli.

I love eating pineapple but I guess this is the first perfume that's helped me understand a "pineapple" note in a perfume. I also have the Police Queen for it's kitschy bottle and it's described as having a pineapple note which stinks to me with the patchouli. Anyway, this perfume is ok and nice. I think the fruity is interesting without a patchouli dry down, but rather an amber/incense. I wouldn't overpay for it... it doesn't have longevity. I find myself overspraying it for fun at home and I got it at Ross's for $12.99. A nice light scent that dries down to an amber. I blind bought it and was happy enough.

This review is completely different than others! I recently smelled this perfume and wore it for a day on my skin and clothes. I did buy a smaller bottle on sale . I normally don't go for fruity florals , but I like this one. I finally figured out why - It reminds me a lot of a body mist I really enjoyed years ago - BBW Tokyo Lotus and Apple Blossom. Call me crazy , but its a lot like it after the dry down. ( but I don't see apple listed on the notes. I also smell some pineapple... but I smell a lot of grapefruit ( also not listed ). Really nice. its a classy fruity floral.

Received this as a gift from my friend and I truly love this scent. The pineapple in this perfume just jumps out and kisses you. It is that sweet and tangy beginning that makes this perfume so inviting. I like that as it dries down it tames itself into a warm and enveloping blanket. It is not, by all means, a quiet fragrance. Even though it may soften, it screams sex appeal and an invitation to come and play. While it doesn't last more than 4 hours on my skin, I enjoy every moment of those four hours. This is definitely a perfume I would wear on a date.

Underestimated this scent, its gorgeous. I think its similar to La vie best belle but softer. A base of smooth amber with orris and violet creating a powdery softness and fruits adding sweetness but not too much. Its not sour either thankfully. I smell bergamot too which brightens up the whole scent. If you want something a lot softer than LVEB minus the patchouli, try this.

This is an ok one in my book, it’s not my favorite jlo scent but I don’t dislike it. I have it but don’t find myself reaching for it as much as her glow, live, jlove or jlust I like the amber in this kind of reminds me of Jadore lore in a way. The bottle is cute and fun, I don’t smell any fruit, just the floral and amber for me

Sweet pineapple perfume. Has a woody, tropical vibe with an essential oil note in it, I’m guessing that’s the bergamot. It’s okay, not a huge fan though. Didn’t get to use it long enough because my bottle fell and broke. Although I would say it’s quite high quality for a celebrity fragrance.

Layering JLove and JLuxe together is chefs kiss. Just beautiful 😍

I had previously tried JLove and it was pretty dreadful, but JLuxe is a significant improvement. It's syrupy overripe dark fruits over an ambery base and what, to me, smells like a sweet patchouli, even though it's not listed. It is a slightly mature nighttime fragrance to me that smells quite similar to Rihanna Reb'l Fleur. It's a bit sexy and almost leans unisex. It's more suited to cooler weather for me, but I am interested in trying it in the summer. Since the fruits are typically summer/tropical fruits it might work as a summer night fragrance. The performance is pretty disappointing. It only lasts about two hours and is very close to the skin the whole time. Since it smell so much like Reb'l Fleur I wouldn't bother with this one. Reb'l Fleur has better performance and smells a little better. I only have a travel size of this one and won't bother with a full bottle because of the performance. I have seen it on some of the discount sites for a great price, but similar to Reb'l Fleur. So it might be worth picking up if you love the fragrance and don't mind reapplying regularly and if Reb'l Fleur is not available to you.

I don't know what to make of this. It's not bad, but I can't really tell what's going on. I smell exactly 0 pineapple, or raspberry in the topnotes. The first few minutes are a citrusy, vaguely fruity affair, but neither my daughter nor I can ascertain anything distinct. The middle stage is quite indistinctly floral, it smells closest to jasmine, but given a little time something close to violet begins to emerge. It's pretty, but both of us just think it smells *perfumey*. None of these florals jut out and smell identifiable on their own. It's ambery as it goes though, yes...but it's kind of a fuzzy, neo-amber. It actually isn't that vanillic or as warm as amber-based things tend to be, yet it's nice. I don't think this would hold up very well in the winter, it only has enough weight in the spring warmth to project and last a modest amount. This feels pretty, and autumnal. It's kind of giving me the idea of offices or meetings, there's something corporate about it all. It's not bad at all, and it isn't a typical celebrity fragrance, so I give it credit for that. It just isn't special or compelling to me.

Straight out of the bottle and right when you spray it you are hit with a sweet, juicy pineapple note. Shortly after it dries it turns straight into a powdery musky smell and I barely notice any of the fruitiness anymore. I feel like only the amber and musk comes through which makes sense since they are the base notes. However, I didn't detect any of the middle notes. I think this is light enough to be worn year around, and the lasting power is pretty good for the price (I got it for 10 bucks at Ross), I still get a good waft of it after 6 hours of initial application.

This was an ok fragrance and more of a unisex perfume, Starts with sweet raspberry notes and ends with cranberry notes. JLuxe eau de parfum spray 7/10

Definite pineapple & amber. Dry down to a fruitchouli. Tries to be dark & seductive but missed the mark. For the price, it's just "okay."

Yeah...I hate leaving negative reviews. But this one is just bad. I've owned it for over a year and have given it several chances (when I was home at night, not going anywhere lol.) The bottle is pretty cool and I honestly thought based on the notes that I would like this scent. Boy was I wrong. It literally smells like amber (a powdery-type amber)...and a sweet pineapple note. And the two DO NOT mix well together. They clash and they clash badly. Orris root is a very powdery note also so maybe I smell that too. But it's basically amber, a powdery accord, and pineapple. Really weird combo now that I'm saying it out loud. Definitely not a highlight of JLO's fragrance line. To end on a positive note...I WILL say that as a whole...JLO's line is one of the best celebrity fragrance lines ever. I also love Britney Spears' line, Paris Hilton's line, along with a few others. I also love Sean John's line, Nicole Richie's line (although I wish she would release more scents), and I also like Ariana Grande's line so far. As for JLO's scents...I highly recommend the original glow, Miami Glow, Rio Glow is great but weak, Blue Glow is also great and unisex, but weak, and I also love LA Glow, and Live. I also have high hopes for her new scent "Promise" but haven't gotten that one yet.

I wasn't going to write anything about this fragrance since I didn't get a chance to know it well, but I see so few reviews I feel compelled to put my thoughts up here to help out someone who is trying to decide if this is worth a blind buy. So apologies in advance for this not being the most detailed; let's not think of it as a review, so much as my first impression. I tried this on at a local Kohl's since it had a lot of notes I tend to like. I was, frankly, a bit disappointed by it; it's a very typical sweet, ambery fruity-floral, and when I asked my husband for his thoughts, he said it smelled cheap. Now, I'm not one to typically classify scents as "smells expensive" or "smells cheap", and I have scents I love across all price points, but you must understand it's even more unusual for HIM to classify a scent as "cheap". He doesn't even say that about things from Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, or other fragrances that are literally more inexpensive than this one. Now, let me try to pick apart what cheap means in this context: the notes were very hard to distinguish from one another, it just smelled like a sweet, musky mess. There was no depth, and it did have a bit of a cloying, "high pitched" feel to it, rather than the depth that many other scents have. I'm attributing that to a high volume of inexpensive/ synthetic ingredients. It never really settled in or developed into something more interesting or composed. Maybe it would fare better on different body chemistry, or smell more at home on a teenage girl, but this was my experience with it. My final impression was that this is a scent I'd pick up if I found it for around $15 to wear on casual days, scent lotion, etc... but it's not something I'd invest $50 into; I just don't think the quality reflects that price tag. It wasn't offensive or awful, and I think the bottle is cute, but it had more in common with the notes I'd expect to find in a body spray than a perfume.

I got JLuxe as a sample in a swap and I am very grateful for it! I put some on while unpacking and a few hours later I keep sniffing my wrist. JL is all about violet, soft amber mixed with musk, soft rose and a hint of cedar to me. I cannot single out the fruits in this. To my nose, it has a slight resemblance to the original Tocade but much, much softer. I really have to get a bottle of the new Tocade now...JLuxe is wonderfully soft and feminine and with Glowing the second JLo scent that I can wear - what I have sampled of her scents so far is way to soapy for me. Despite the softness the scent lingers nicely with wafts enveloping me as I go about my day. I have to get a full bottle of this, that's for sure! Edit: Today I'm wearing JLuxe on my clothes and the fruits are coming through. I like this as much as what I am getting when wearing it on my skin. I smell the tangy fruits imbedded in the same lovely amber, rose, musk and cedar combo that wafted of my wrist yesterday. This all very well blended and puts a smile on my face every time I catch a whiff. Very nicely done indeed!

I got JLove the other day, blind buy, and thought I didn't like it but then I kept craving some scent I had smelled and it was that one. So I was in Ross again and saw this one JLuxe, read the notes, liked that it had no patchouli and went ahead and got it. I've been testing it at bedtime and last night when sprayed on clothing it was smelling different than the past time I tested it. It smelled like Sensual amber by b&bw which I thought before but now something else. Then this morning I woke up and I was still smelling it and smelled this pretty rose scent. I was wondering, what does it smell like and it was Flowerbomb by v&r ever so slightly. I honestly did not expect to like this especially if it was one of the fruitchouli type scents because they rarely smell good one me. The damask rose is what I love in here. I'll see if I have occasions to actually wear it since that's what usually determines if something is for me!! Edit:Testing this again and this time it smells different again. The damask rose comes out most on me and I like that.

I just got this in a holiday set with a 1 oz perfume, 2.5 oz body lotion and 2.5 oz shower gel. It took me a minute to realize not only had I smelled this before but I already have it in my collection. This smells a LOT like Jennifer Lopez's Wild Glow. Not exactly a dupe, there are very minor differences but the two scents are indeed very similar. So if you already have Wild Glow , you can save your money,unless you want a very similar version of the same scent. This is not the first time JLO has repeated herself within her scent wardrobe. She did this already with Rio Glow and Live Platinum. Another example of same scent, different bottle.

It's not complicated. One of those simple comfort scents. After first spray it is sweet (vanilla/cotton candy), with hints of some tropical fruits mango, passion fruit, ananas (I had once "tropical" bath foam and I liked it -good time good memories). After 30 minutes I detect masculine note (Axe of my friend or blue Carex soap).Ylang-ylang is also present (tropical fruity note with hint of latex rubber).Many notes mixed together. It is hard to review a fragrance, everyone has different memories, I like those notes so.. I think it is a safe perfume (something like Hugo Boss Nuit which is not similar but also safe quiet, "skin scent")

I like some of Jennifer Lopez' fragrances. I think Deseo was one of her best and I am actually searching for another bottle. I smelled JLuxe at Kohls and it is ambery and sexy sweet. And it is a very good smell. It has a sexy tone to it without being overwhelming stinky. It is not fruity sweet, don't smell pineapple, which I cannot stand on fragrances For those of us that like this kind of scent, it is a nice choice the bottle design is blah, it almost disappears in the counter at Kohls Will definitely purchase if available at a discount ( I believe that there are some coupon specials now because of Mothers' day, May 2016)

Encapulating the sizzilating luxuriance that IS Jennifer Lopez, JLUXE opens with a dripping slap of pineapple, raspberry, and cling peach snack cup. Middle notes are a floral bouquet purchased hastily at the corner market, along with a bottle of Yellow Tail Merlot and a box of condoms. Big, fat base notes include amber, musk, root beer and a touch of nail polish remover. All wrapped up for your delight in a shiny version of your Nana's muumuu. JLUXE says, in scent, what Jennifer's heart longs to tell us: "Here's my leg!"

Hmm, I bought a 3 piece set of this blindly and yes it was a mistake. I thought because I own and live most of the Glow flankers that I would love this too based on the description alone but it didn't work on my skin. It dies smell fruity and a little amvery although I didn't get any powder from it. It's not bad it's just something I've smelled time and time before . I think JLO is running out of ideas for her fragrance creations. Or she sees it as easy money and doesn't put any time or effort into it anymore.

I am reviewing the body mist. This scent is very fruity and ambery so if ur into fruity- amber scents like amber romance from Vs you may like this a lot. I love it. i want to try the perfume and i think it will be worth the money spent. When i first spray it i immediately get a sweet rasberry and pineapple..not sour or tart at all wbich is nice, than the amber comes through and makes it creamy and te flowers make it fresh. i love this. im really surprised this doesnt have more reviews positive ones

I had been wanting to purchase this but could never find it locally. I finally happened upon it in Kmart and they had a tester! I sprayed it on my wrist then continued shopping. At first it was very sweet, almost cloyingly so for me, then as it mellowed out I began enjoying it more but after about ten minutes of this enjoyable stage it changed and then I kept smelling a burnt hairspray smell. I'm so glad I didn't blind buy! It may work wonderfully on someone else's skin though

I just got this, and Jluxe reminds me of a toned down, Heat by Beyonce, they are both under Coty, so I'm not that surprised. The Amber is very intensive, but not as harsh as it is in Heat. I also can detect Pineapple, Violet and Cedarwood, but that's it. This perfume is just ok for me, and isn't worth $49. I would wait to get it cheaper. This isn't a Summer perfume anyway, I think it's more of a Fall perfume during the evening time. Overall I give this perfume a 7/10.

I picked up 30ml for $13 at Ross. This smells like a pineapple version of Britney Spears Fantasy or Fantasy Intense. I think the orris note really stands out and creates a cupcake-like accord. The pineapple is not a fresh version, it's a candied/waxy/pina colada. To my nose it has a smooth, soft patchouli in the base notes even though that note is not listed. The base notes smell quite a bit like Britney Spears Fantasy Intense.

This is a power house hidden gem If you find it get it ! smells a lot like I Am Juicy it has the strong amber , sweet and fruity aroma . SS = Spray Strength 1 SS = 3-4 hrs The first spray stays pretty constant smelling doesn't turn on you.

This one has a nostalgic smell of mid 2000’s holiday shopping at the department store lol it’s sweet, with some depth, smells familiar but at the end of the day it’s forgettable. Smells like a mix of perfumes. Lol

Was at Kohl's and tried a tester and fell in love, but they were all out of bottles and would not sell me the tester, lol, so I ordered on ebay and am very happy I did! :) Very sexy/sultry scent! I Love it!

I am SO EXCITED for this one! I loved JLOVE! The bottle design is so cute for both of them! I am hoping that this comes to Kohls stores in the USA just like JLOVE did! I want to go in and test it!

Felt like I was being beaten over the head with a stinky sickly sweet pineapple. Gave me a headache and I can wear fracas and truth or dare no problem. I’m sad to say I’m not a fan of this.

Nice for one second, then the masculine, ultra-fizzy scent envelops. If you like Halle Berry Closer or Faith Hill's Soul to Soul, you'll like this. Update: Drydown is heavy like SJP Covet.

Looks like this is live on the Kohl's web site. If you want to order it, I see it there for about $49 for a 1.7 oz spray. This has been on my wish list for a while.
