My Glow

I blind bought this based on the reviews that said it smells like Victoria's Secret's now-discontinued scent, Body By Victoria/The Body Mist. I LOVE that scent and was super disappointed when VS discontinued it. I used to get so many compliments every time I wore it. It must work really well with my chemistry because family, friends, coworkers, and even strangers used to approach me and ask what I was wearing because it smelled so good. Men loved it. It smelled clean, floral, soapy, sophisticated without being too mature, and had great staying power and sillage. I loved that scent so much that I saved the last few drops of the matching lotion for years, only wearing it on special occasions to make it last. I considered buying it on eBay or Mercari but the prices were insanely high. I went searching for dupes of this fragrance and lo and behold...My Glow is here. My Glow is SO close to Body By Victoria. I am absolutely thrilled about this. It's not an exact 100% replica, maybe 98%, and it's close enough that it gives me the same happy feelings that BBV did. It's got the same clean, sophisticated aura about it, and the sillage and staying power are pretty good too for an EDT. I agree with other reviews that say it smells like an expensive floral soap. It's innofensive and, while being more of a spring and summer day vibe, works for all occasions and times of year. Upon initial spray, it is a bit strong and sharp but quickly dries down to something much more soft and intriguing. I bought the 3.4 ounce, which will last a long time but I'm considering purchasing another just in case this gets discontinued like BBV did. I have hundreds of scents in my collection that I love, ranging from Bath & Body works to designer, but this one is my holy grail, signature scent. I am so happy to be reunited with my fave. I definitely recommend this to anyone who was familiar with BBV and misses that scent as much as I did. Go ahead and buy it, it's worth it!

I got a 1oz. bottle of this about 2 months ago and have used half of it already which is a first for me as I tire of fragrances easily.This is my go-to comfort scent.When I first sprayed it on I thought it smelled extremely familiar and realized it was almost identical to Body by Victoria's Secret.I used to own Body and still have some of the lotion so I layered this with it and could not tell where one ended and the other began.The only difference I can see between the two is that Body is much stronger-this scent also has a slightly more powdery drydown.I think it's wonderful-it has very light sillage and seems almost a skin scent to me.I agree with the previous reviewer in that I love to spray this on after a shower and it's also one of my bedtime scents(I always spray on a bit of perfume before bed).It very unoffensive and light.It may not have that WOW factor but it's still lovely.I also think the bottle is gorgeous though the two angels on top are a little creepy;)I will definitely be getting another bottle when I run out which will probably be soon as I expect to get a lot of wear out of this in the summer.I can't bear strong scents in the heat so this is perfect.

Although I have found my signature scent, I do love my JLO, and I owned and tried several of her perfumes. Glow is one of my to go perfumes, I love how fresh and clean it is. I was intrigued by My Glow. I looked for it everywhere and finally found it yesterday in a small shop. I read so many good reviews saying it is perfect for expecting mothers and not irritating at all. Clean, soapy, everything I love. At first spray, I thought it smelled sweet. I was expecting something fresh and this wasn't fresh. It smelled sweet. Then, I kept sniffing my wrist. It indeed smells like an expensive floral soap. It smells like a beautiful, soft, kind, feminine, gentle woman. I can imagine myself wearing this with my favourite sweater while holding my child one day. Or hugging someone and giving them comfort. I imagine meeting my boyfriend's parents wearing this one. Or going for a walk on the lakeside wearing something white. It is pretty, gentle. Somehow reminds me a tiny bit of Narciso's florals. I like this one. I'll keep it. Will update with people's reaction to it. I still think Glow is much more of a sexy clean scent.

I hate to admit that I love this fragrance as much as I do. Celebrity fragrances, in general, are something I tend to avoid, but after finding this back in 2010 or so, it has been a go-to scent of sorts for me. Soft, simple, clean, not quite soapy/not quite floral/ not quite vanilla/not quite.... anything. Don't get me wrong - all of those things are there, just in such equal amounts that it becomes none of those things. It's just a soft, clean, comforting scent. "Cashmere" is the perfect word for it. I can wear it day or night, any time of year, for any type of occasion - and it always fits well. It doesn't stand out, so it's not something I would wear if I wanted to be noticed, but as a comfort scent, it works nicely. I'm usually into straightforward clean florals, but I reach for this one at least a few times per month(which is saying something, from someone who has MANY perfumes to choose from), and have for years.

I believe that this fragrance is beautiful in every way! From the scent itself to the bottle and packaging! This fragrance is strictly floral. FLORAL, FLORAL, FLORAL! I can definitely detect the lavender! Lavender can be tricky because it will either be a masculine lavender or a clean and fresh lavender! It's definitely a clean fresh lavender! It's just beautiful! All together it's a clean, green, floral fragrance! The box is a little flimsy...a lot. But the bottle is so beautiful! I love the direction Jennifer wanted to go with this bottle! It is probably the most heartfelt bottle I have ever seen a celebrity release! Definitely the most personal too! The cap is just capturing! You can almost feel the connection she shares with her children! I love it!

I generally love soapy scents, but among them there are some I cannot stand. Sometimes there is a sharp, screechy note that I hate. I did not know My Glow existed, until I watched some YouTube's Soapy perfume- videos. I became curious, and blind bought this. I am very happy to say, that My Glow is lovely, heavenly. It's soapy in a soft, delicate and elegant way. I am not the crazy angel statue lady, but I do think that the angel on the bottle quite well symbolises the nature of the scent. Smells angelic. This is a perfect perfume for non-perfume areas (my family always laughs at this expression). You smell fresh and clean, like a bar of white quality soap. This is the best soapy fragrance I have tested so far, and I am happy to have it in my collection.

I recently purchased my first bottle of My glow by Jlo - This is a Hidden gem! It’s such a beautiful , shampoo-y, baby soap fragrance. It reminds me of Tocca Guiletta. It's somewhat of a light/skin scent, but If you prefer more projection from the scent, simply spray it on what you are wearing, and the scent will last all day. It lasts the entire workday on my skin, which never happens , with most perfumes ...and lasts on clothing until laundry day. I ordered online , so I let it macerate for a month before use (maceration is important with online fragrance purchases)..... I've already bought backups because I love it so much, and fear it gets discontinued.....

Flash forward a few months later, I am addicted to this so badly. It is summer now in Toronto and I find this the best scent I could possibly use. It’s perfect for my age, 27, and it’s perfect for the weather. It’s clean, soft, relaxing, it gives me calm even in the most anxiety filled days. It’s just such a comforting fragrance, it makes me think of a zen and calmer version of me. I love this. It smells like amazing and expensive soap with a hint of lavender essential oil and musky sweetness. Gorgeous. Oh, the cap is an eye sore. I substituted it with a small round golden cap I had which fit perfectly. Now the bottle looks adorable. That angel is so tacky.

I bought My Glow because of the perfectly kitschy bottle and didn't really pay attention to the notes beforehand. Turns out that this is everything I didn't know I love in a perfume! It's an aquatic, sweet floral that's fresh yet soft. The dry down smells just like a dewy bouquet of lavender and peonies. If I spray this on my clothes I can smell it on me all day, but the projection is mellow enough that I've found myself reaching for this for any occasion if I'm in a rush and/or feel indecisive. In conclusion: most successful blind buy ever! This is truly a lovely fragrance that I'm happy to have in my collection.

To me this perfume is underrated. I really love this perfume, and the notes are all blended well together. If you like scents like Heavenly by VS, more than likely you will like My Glow by Jennifer Lopez. This perfume lasts for at least 8 hours, it's amazing. I really wish this was a perfume I could find more easily, I am not saying it's that hard to find, I just wish that places like Marshalls, Ross, and Burlington carried this perfume. I have had several about 75% of her perfumes over the last 10 years and I have to say that My Glow is one of her best perfumes that she has released.

I’m a major frag-head, I’ve never left a review, I have nothing poetic to say, just felt the need to make it known that of the 500+ perfumes I own this is in my top 5. Of all the perfumes I own I get the most compliments on this one. I get excellent projection and longevity. So clean without being soapy, soft, feminine but not overly girly, just so so comforting. Seems to be perfect for every occasion and season. Been wearing it for years (I stocked up on multiple bottles when I heard it was being discontinued) and I never tire of it.

I picked this up yesterday in a giftset after smelling it again(1st sniff was at its launch last fall and I wasnt too impressed...) because it seemed like the shower gel and lotion would intensify the projection and staying power of this soft almost skin scent of a fragrance... Boy was I ever right!!! It lasted me all day and I actually got a few compliments from people who werent "on top of me" lol...If ur looking for something soft, feminine and on the quiet side of things try this one, u might just grow to love it like I did...

I’ve had this for quite a while and haven’t worn it in ages. Man did I forget or didn’t realize what a beautiful fragrance this is! I have quite a few of Jlo’s scents and I love how most of them are “clean” smelling. This is very delicate and airy and feminine. Like your skin but better. Clean, delicate florals and soft musk. Like a caress for your skin. One of JLo’s most underrated perfumes. I believe it’s discontinued but you can find it online for like $25-$35 bucks. Lasts forever and is worth every cent!

One of my faves. A real classic. I receive so many compliment when wearing this. Day or night. Year round I can wear this. It's a beautiful heavy and hearty powdery baby fresh scent. Makes me think of a baby in a swaddled blanket all soft and powdery. 100% a fresh and soapy scent that you wear to feel comfy and calm. I wear it to work a lot to stay relaxed and the silage and staying power is superb. A signature scent and my faveorite from the "Glow" line and spin offs in " Glow ". A 5/5!

Because of the good reviews here i purchase this on internet.It was a great dissapointment,because i love smelling,during spring&summer,clean and fresh (i like Light Blue by D&G,or Infussion d`Iris by Prada,or my favourite but discontinued,Lovely by Jessica Parker.) Too much flower,no powder at all,no musk or levander,or fressia on this,at least on my skin. Just too much,how to describe this,flowers(!)that i felt like i am gonna be sick. Thank God it was so cheap....

I have this and I like it.Its is so calming thanks to the Lavender.It is clean yet elegant and just an all around wearable fragrance that is not offensive.I was hoping Lovely would be more like this.I have a bottle and I wear it often I spray it on my sheets its such a nice scent.The bottle is adorable.Its not long lasting but, I just spray more on during the day when it starts to wear off.I will buy more of this for sure.

One of my old favorites!! I’ve had my bottle since it came out and to this day it still smells so good! Floral,lavender,a little musk with lots of water lily!! In my opinion this is very feminine fresh floral with water notes. My youngest child says it smells like a beautiful sunny spring day at a lake or ocean. Longevity and sillage are both moderate on me.

Another scent I like from Ms. Lopez--this is fresh, gentle, feminine and soft--again, a perfect scent for summer. I found it subtle, but lasting. It's interesting that this is her "preganancy" scent--many women have trouble tolerating fragrances during late pregnancy, because the excess of estrogen makes them hyper sensitive to smells. I LOVE the bottle!

My Glow is a pure lavender soapy scent, it's so calming and beautiful. Longevity and silage are average, but I don't mind to spritz it every 3 or 4 hours. I am on my second bottle I love it so much. I replaced the angel cap with the gold cap from Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck and it fit perfectly. :)

My Glow is a very serene scent, both lovely and subtle which makes it a safe choice for many occasions. The bottle and its package are cute and feminine, even though I'm not that much into baby pink colour, but it sort of fits well this particular fragrance without being too naive or sappy.

What a lovely sweet, gentle smell this one has ... ultra feminine and like a more affordable version of Noa by Cacharel. Bottle is gorgeous too, am wondering whether it will be a limited edition though, hope not! Just bought another bottle as it's so uplifting and smells so gorgeous!

I bought this blind just love the bottle but have come to adore the perfume. It's not very sweet or sparkling or musky all things I like but can grow tired of. This is a gentle old fashioned smelling floral. Very old not like 80s or 90s. More like a 50s Avon-ish rosewater.

This is a very very soapy smell. I do live the smell of soap...good thing! it smells like fresh ivory soap. but its a very weak scent. i could barely smell it on paper or my skin. it is and EDT. If they made an EDP, i might think of getting it.

I have not liked any of the other Jennifer Lopez scents, but this one is a big exception. This scent is soft and powdery. I can totally detect the heliotrope and I love it. The bottle is really nice too. I think this scent will be very popular.

Another beautiful scent by Jennifer Lopez. I blind bought this expecting nothing but the best from experiencing her other fragrances. It did not disappoint. A elegant blend of florals and spices. Nothing offensive or cheap smelling about it.

This perfume reminds me of motherhood! I don't know exaclty why, but it does. The idea she created it when she was pregnant with her kids is so sweet. it's light and beautiful. one of my favorites. :)

I like the bottle and also the smell of the fragrance. I can't describe the smell exactly but I like it very much!

I have had this frag for a few months and just remembered to review it now :) Bought this blind from TJ Maxx - I picked up the box and quickly searched Fragrantica for a description of the fragrance and the notes. I thought it was precious that it was made during her pregnancy, hence the name, and basically bought it for that reason. I am not disappointed in the fragrance. It is fresh, clean, and actually lasts a fair amount of time. It is inoffensive and I have already gotten compliments on it. My only real "complaint" about it is that it really does have an uncanny resemblance to Body (The Fragrance) by Victoria's Secret. I have always liked Body by Victoria so that's not really a bad thing, it just isn't anything new and exciting to rave about. Still, I will gladly use up and enjoy My Glow. Corny as it sounds, as a new mother, I will have a little emotional attachment to this fragrance - it will remind me of my first months with my little guy. Very fitting, I think :)

Another clean, powdery fragrance that reminds me a lot of her original Glow. But this one's softer, lighter, greener. A very safe scent, great to wear to work or for casual daily use. Not overwhelming, not drowning, it just stays close to your skin and lasts for a reasonable amount of time. It's a very personal scent, which is why I liked it. It doesn't announce itself to the world, it just clings to you shyly and silently. Occasionally, you catch whiffs of it in the air, and then it went back into hiding. Such a delicate scent! And the bottle is just adorable, with it's delicate angels on the cap and the very feminine victorian style design of the box. I use this as my work scent, and coincidentally enough, I am currently working with pregnant women and babies, hence this scent fits perfectly into the picture. I have 100ml and I will certainly savor it to the last bit!

I bought this because I knew it had lavender and freesia notes. I agree with the posters who say it is subtle. It gets mild pretty fast. However, I found that it lasted a long time. It is def a frag that you have to put your nose right next to the skin to smell, but that is OK too. It is a nice change for me to have one that is just personal and sort of comforting. I def get the lavender and freesia and then the freshness is the next strongest note. The powdery is there, but it does not ovepower the lavender freshness. The setting that this reminds me of is a very expensive, traditional, summer wedding in a large house with flowers everywhere and an expansive green lawn with plenty of trees. I am enjoying it now (NOV) but I think it will make a great Summer frag. It is different than the citrus X 10 that I ususally go for in the summer. It will be a nice change.

This is a beautiful, delicate powdery floral! I don't know what floral notes I am smelling, but I do know it's floral. The powder is not dusty or sneezy and the floral is not sharp or overwhelming. It has an innocent or maternal quality about it, I suppose, but it really doesn't scream "baby" to me. The only problem is the lasting power--I've had it on for 2 and a half hours, and it's fading fast!!! UPDATE (and why can't I press enter to skip a line??): I've been using it as a bedtime perfume, and after smelling it for a while, I'm tired of it--it really is smelling "baby". Baby wipes, baby powder. Oh, well. I don't hate it, but I don't love it anymore.

I have an interesting, maybe ironic, association with this scent. I sprayed it on right before my first day of substitute teaching in a kindergarten classroom. It was a new purchase and I just felt like wearing it. I had been having trouble smelling the scent like many of you have, but it was a rainy humid day too which really helped the scent project on my skin for some reason. I had a good day with the kindergarteners and a good first day teaching. Now, every time I wear this scent, i think of that class and it seems that I can only find i am in the mood to wear it when it is rainy and humid...or when i am around children...

I read a lot of reviews describing this as "soapy", and I was expecting something akin to "Pure Grace"... but sadly, this was not similar at all. I would call it "pale" as opposed to soapy... TOO mild and quiet, in my opinion. I wish it had even a little bite... it's the fragrance equivalent of going for a massage and having a timid masseuse... great potential, but just a disappointing experience overall. Maybe I will take the advice of previous reviewers and try it as a bedtime scent. ETA: I have learned to layer it with the original Cashmere Mist as a soft, cozy bedtime fragrance. The combination is Sleepytime Perfection.

I found 30ml bottle on the Internet ONLY for 7 euros and obviously I had to have it! I also was quite confident because reviews here were not bad at all. So, today I received my mail and quickly wrapped up the pack, sparyed it on my wrist and WOW - I absolutely love it from the first sniff! My first thought was lilac, but now I see that it doesn't have any in it. Some say it's soapy - I wouldn't say that. My Glow is very inoffensive, clean, light floral scent which I imagine, can be perfect for upcoming seasons. Absolutely lovely!

A very clean, light floral watery scent. Very pleasent and inoffensive. This was marketed to new mothers who don't want their new babies overwhelmed by their perfume and I think this is perfect for that. Great for office wear and casual days. A nice pretty relaxed scent. Everything in this is subtle, delicate and pulled back. I find the water lilly and the freesia are the most prominant but even those are quite watered down.

This smells exactly like you would imagine Jennifer does on the photo advertising the frag. Very soft, feminine and tender. It's a clean scent, intended obviously for daily/casual use. So - safe for work or school. I'd say it's the kind of scent you want your family to recognize you by. Nothing wow or sexy about it - It's for when you wanna smell nice and not offend anyone. All in all, my kind of frag<3

I bought this on a whim as an everyday scent to wear to my new job in a mother & baby store. It is exactly what I was looking for-clean,subtle and fresh. It reminds me of floral soap and clean clothes and to me it smells like an expensive fragrance . It's totally different from the usual scents I go for,but it is perfect for me to wear everyday as it is not overpowering.

This is not usually the type of perfume I would go for, but I love its comforting smell. It is a lukewarm floral musk- almost like a second skin. It is a lovely perfume for when you just get out of the shower and it is raining. I can't wait to try the suggestion from Brit to layer it over Glow.

I keep trying to like this I really do but everytime I attempt to wear it, end up covering it with something sweeter. It just doesn't smell that good...soapy stinky floral notes and very weak. I think ill trade this one out. Scent:5 Packaging:6

So clean, out of the shower scent. It"s a very safe scent that wouldn't bother anyone, it's just so clean :) Perfect for a summer day. I like it very much for all these reasons. But I never wear it much as it doesn't have much personality..

Received my bottle today. It is a simple, fresh, powdery scent. Inoffensive, so safe for those who work with very sensitive noses. It is a simple everyday scent. Longevity- two hours is all the time it stays on my skin.

I smell white flowers. Beautiful. I also get something a bit soapy (but definitely not as much as with Glow). Very sheer. Poor staying power. Doesn't really develop, just vanishes. I like it anyway.

Just bought this in a perfume lot and I fear the bottle. I dont know it just creeps me out. I kinda like this perfume kinda dont. I agree that its soapy, like public restroom soapy. Its ok.

soft gentle soothing scent:) definitely floral, I don't find it powdery at all, but rather has that slight creamy note to it. great for daytime.

I love this perfume, it's soft, delicate and feminine. But the longevity is really poor, it lasts no more than 30 minutes on my skin.

Now this is my cup of tea. I love this most suttle, soft fragrance. I love the floral smell and the musky undertone.

As some other reviewers mentioned, this is as close to Body By Victoria as you’re going to get in a perfume. It’s not identical nor does it have the staying power of BBV, buts it’s close. There is a spiky, pungent tone to it and I’m sure it’s the alcohol (this is a cheap fragrance after all), possibly mixed with a lower level lavender. If you miss BBV like I do, then this will do the trick. Smells like what you’d expect inexpensive perfume to smell though. Don’t have high hopes just enjoy the ride. Edit- if you mix “Body (W) VS Type Premium Body Oil Roll-on” by UltraAromatics (from Etsy) with My Glow, it smells IDENTICAL to BBV! The little something that My Glow was missing is instantly improved by the mixture. You’re welcome :)

Definately a little disappointed. More then a little. For the life of me I couldnt smell it. On card and on skin! It took 5 sprays on my wrist to finally get the little bit of scent that comes about from My Glow. Its gone in minutes w/ me. Its so weird. I know its suppose to be light for babies but goodness its like water. The minutes that it lasted smelled nice but I cant remember it at all. So sad cuz it sounded so promising and I luv all her previous Glows and scents. Maybe it will last longer on my Mom or sis.

I am so baffled by the comparisons to Noa! I blind bought this perfume because of that comparison and they could not be more different. Noa is soapy yeah, but like a bar soap and it's also sweet and creamy with a hint of coffee. I found My Glow to be very sharp and a bit sour. It smells a bit like a sharp shampoo. No sweetness whatsoever. I suspect this smells super fresh and clean on some peoples skin but for me the lavender needs something sweet to balance it out. I love sandalwood but the other woody notes are too prominent for me in the base for my tastes too. Genuinely don't buy this if you want something a bit like Noa.... just get Noa (or Lanvin's Oxygene!)
