Promise Intense

I have it as well as one. It’s super beautiful, delicate and sweet not in an offensive way. They have nothing in common with one apart from the bottle design. One is totally woody and peppery. I thought promise intense will be a regretful blind buy but it’s completely not so. I like it way more than one. Makes me wanna try original promise cause maybe they share similar notes.

At first, it seemed the same as the original to me, but it turns out to be completely different. It’s very sweet—amber combined with raspberry and blackberry—and then the florals kick in, making it more romantic, especially the rose. 9/10; it’s definitely worth it.

Well, I’m someone who actually has this now that it’s out at Macy’s. So here’s a real review, unlike all the assholes who left ridiculous reviews and rated it bad without smelling it! Promise - One - Limitless / these 3 scents have a similar bottle design. Promise now has an intense & having owned them all (I let Promise go), I really think Limitless is one of her best releases. Ever. And ONE is gorgeous and SO unique. However. I let the promise go because it was too redundant. Very. “Viva la juicy” by Juicy Couture & very “Tease” by Victoria's Secret. With Promise INTENSE we just have - Viva la juicy “Noir”. 🫠🥴 It’s not a BAD thing. I actually let go of Viva La Juicy years ago as well, and I think it’s criminally pedestrian, and every person smelled like it. However, noir had a deeper, more grown vibe. This offering promise intense is giving more of that "NOIR" vibe. The orange blossom here is really nice. The dry down, I’m at about hour 5 of wear - it’s getting a bit sharp. The jasmine is showing out now & the blackberry. Funny, the jasmine is a mid note, and the blackberry is a top note. Yet. They’re showing up late. First blast, this is just an amber sandalwood vanilla with a lot of sugary sweetness likely from the orange blossom and the raspberry. Blackberry dries down sharper, and that’s what I’m getting now with the jasmine and vanilla. I really don’t dislike this. I only have TEASE in the collectors bottle, and while they are similar tease is way more straightforward vanilla. So I’d say promise/promise intense are really just viva la juicy/viva la juicy noir. I will say it has no silage - no one smelled it on me or complimented it. I can smell it - but it doesn't seem to go anywhere for anyone else. Not very "intense" in that mindset. If you like that scent profile, and if you even liked Promise the original better. I’d say definitely give this a shot. It’s got really good longevity, but it does change on my skin, and I can see this lasting remainder of the day. As I have grown, I want to keep what I will wear. Yes, I collect, but eh ... I just really don’t know if I need to keep this, as it’s not a super enjoyable scent profile for me, not a BAD scent, but I don't think I will keep it. Just want to be honest!

I dont know why they named this as an intense. It barely smells like Promise. This is way more fruity floral. Its more fruity in the beginning. Dry down turns down to the orange blossom amber. Sillage is not great. Lasts about 2 hours on skin. Might last longer on clothes. Overall, not bad, im keeping it anyway as a collector so lol. Same as the Paris hilton situation: not really worth it for something so basic. But I still like it enough to keep it :)

I dont get the orange blossom in this, thats great. It's amber fruity nice smelling for winter. A easy reach Similar to VS Tease

Yes, I prefer this to the original 'Promise', it's slightly richer and deeper with the warmth of vanilla! Lovely fruity floral with the orange blossom , tangy juicy fruits peeking through, blended well for easy to wear perfume, neither too strong or too light...

Paid £43 for a 50ml still has the same DNA of promise but nothing is intense about this in fact I feel the original is stronger, nice smell though I will buy again once it goes cheaper not worth the money it is right now.

Intense? Like Alien or marketing? We’ll see.
