Still

This went ignored in my collection for so long. I am glad that I didn’t give up on it because yesterday it finally worked its subtle magic and grew on me. When I did try this originally, I sprayed it and thought ooooh... apple tea??? Like a refreshing Snapple maybe? Okay. It’s nice. Once it dried down, it just went flat. I forgot about all about it and it got pushed to the very back of my tray. I have heard a lot of things about Still before and since this purchase. I couldn’t smell that powerhouse longevity that everyone was speaking on. People were claiming that it smells more expensive than what it actually is and that it’s one of JLo’s best creations. I got absolutely none of this the first time around. Then yesterday, I was getting ready for work and I needed a dumb reach that I wasn’t sick to death of. I saw that concave glass bottle with the hokey, faux diamond ring on the cap and thought why not? I didn’t think about it again until 2 hours into my shift and I smelled this wonderful clean scent lingering around me. This can’t possibly be Still, could it? It was! Finally, I was experiencing the glory that everyone was talking about. While I feel that this is predominantly a tea scent, the sweetness is also manifesting strongly on my skin from the honeysuckle, freesia, apple, and, orange blossom. There’s a denseness to the base of the scent probably because of the rice. All in all, this truly is as multi-faceted as the bottle it comes in. I agree that more love and attention to detail went into Still than your run-of-the-mill celebrity perfume. It’s not linear and there are layers throughout the wear time. It does smell very refreshing, clean, shampoo-y, and spa-like as people have said. Actually it’s so demure that at first, I thought it was my hair or my newly washed clothes that smelled so good. I don’t find this really comparable to EA’s Green Tea. Possibly on initial impression but I think Still has more complexity and depth for me. Still slightly resembles Tommy Girl but again, I feel like this one has more character. As is the case with perfumes that have been around for decades, reformulation is inevitable here. As I have learned with other JLo fragrances, bottles produced by Lancaster Group/Coty Prestige are closest to the original formulation whereas SA Designer/EA productions are more likely to be reformulated and of lesser quality than earlier formulations. Usually, these perfumes hold up pretty well and assuming they have been stored properly, you don’t really need to be wary of them having turned. Sealed/NIB bottles are probably your best bet. With Still in particular, the notable “engagement ring” underneath the cap is significant of which formulation is which. Ring-good, no ring-bad(?). I haven’t tried the reformulated version so I can’t speak on its quality but other reviews have specifically mentioned a difference. I can say that the ring version has amazing longevity and sillage. I can still smell it upon waking up. It’s not overwhelming but just the perfect amount of presence. One negative thing to note with my bottle is that the nozzle sprays way more perfume than necessary and drains the bottle faster than usual. Because of this, my bottle is more dented than it should be. If you don’t like this at first, don’t give up on it. You may need to let your bottle macerate for a while like mine did in order to get the best experience possible. Getting an older bottle might also make a difference. Although I can’t see too many people disliking this, there’s always a possibility that it just may not be your cup of tea. I feel like Still could easily be sold at a higher price. The quality is outstanding here and offers something a little unique. It’s winter and this is performing like a dream! I don’t anticipate this getting cloying in heat. I have already ordered a backup of the original version because I can already expect that this is going to become more scarce in the next couple of years. Still was the first perfume I ever bought. Three and a half years ago, I was a Law student running on a tight budget and indulging in fragrances was a major luxury. But on one particular February evening, I marched to the local beauty supplies store in the University area and requested the SA to show me some 'budget options'. I had zero idea and understanding of fragrances back then and was completely clueless about notes. That was to come some time later, and is something I am still in the process of learning. Having said which, to my absolutely fragrance-virgin self (if that's ever a term, gosh !), Still was love at first whiff. I bought it immediately and doused myself proudly through that spring and summer. To my nose, it is a sharp sugary tea with jasmine. Those are the notes that I pick up strongly in JLo Still. In my humble opinion, it is quite a versatile fragrance capable of being worn and enjoyed in every season. Mild and pleasant for everyday wear. Three years down the road when I have experimented much more and have had the opportunity to try out so many other lovely fragrances, designer and niche, JLo Still continues to be a standout scent for me. Maybe it is the nostalgia, maybe because it was the first perfume I ever bought for myself, maybe it is the sentimentality of my association with Still, since it is what set me on my fragrance journey, I could never bring myself to empty that bottle completely and still have a good 3-4 sprays of it left. Always a special one for me ! <3

Light, refreshing, semi-sweet citrus iced tea! With the smell of Jasmine rice wafting in the backround. I love that I can actually pickup on the rice note! The rice really balances everything out. Yes you can detect the white florals but they are not at all screechy. The honeysuckle / orange blossom bouquet really rounds everything out as it starts to drydown! Soothing, and dare I say zen! When I was walking around the local mall around the holidays (smelling everything I could get my nose on of course) I was so glad I was wearing Still! Smelling it down my shirt was a bit of a "nose palate cleanser" like wow! Wear this if you get a bit anxious in department stores! I'm thankful I do not get that "pee" note that has been mentioned, but I would like to point out that I thought I could smell a bit of that after wearing this one for 8+ hours. Honestly I don't think this plays well with sweat but don't let that stop you! It's lovely! Great for an office environment or the healthcare field! I got my 1.7oz on Fragrance Net for just shy of $15! If you like tea scents it's a must try!! Edit: Sprayed it on today around 4pm, can still smell it at 8:30pm! I sprayed generously, and misted it over my clothes as well :) Longevity: 4-6 hours of being able to smell it well; it will linger into the 7th-8th hour Sillage: Nice scent trail if you overspray!

Owned this one many years ago when it first launched and Still has always stood out to me amongst other celeb fragrances. This, to me, is very different from your usual super sweet and fruity celeb scents (at least during that time). This smells spicy and more grown up. I’m shocked I loved it so much at my young age (I think I was 15-17). This scent is warm and comforting to me. It’s not overly spicy, but just enough that it’s a safe bet almost anyone would at least like it. Definitely a scent for cooler months and evenings. I haven’t come across anything quite like it in all my years of collecting fragrances. I had no clue it had a rice note in it or the Earl Gray tea note! And apple?! That sounds like such an odd grouping in a fragrance but it works here. I will add this back to my collection most definitely! It’s a nice nostalgic scent for me too so it may be a good bedtime frag for me. I think this is a good choice for folks who may be intimidated by spicier scents, but want to give them a try. It’s inexpensive, crowd pleasing, and well balanced spice so it’s not overwhelming. I also love the song that (I imagine) this scent is named after. It’s still in my playlist rotation! In my opinion, JLo really hit it out of the park with this one!

Still..... I could go into the notes on this one and write a very lengthy composition but I won't. I'll keep it short, sweet and simple. This is how Still makes me feel: When I hear my alarm clock going off at 5:00 am, I begrudgingly roll over and slap some button on the top of the darn thing to get it to stop beeping at me. I get up, turn the lights on in my kitchen, turn my kettle on the burner to High and grab 2 bags of Bigelow English tea and my Phantom of the Opera mug. I cut a lemon wedge and position the tea bags in my mug and wait until I hear my kettle whistle and then steep my tea. I wait about 5 minutes, and then I go sit on my front porch and sip my tea. The best thing about being an early riser is that you get to smell the previous evenings Jasmine and Honeysuckle still floating in the cool crisp air. The sprinkler systems on my street are all going, and there's creamy soft bursts of Lily of the Valley mixing with the previous evenings Jasmine and Honeysuckle. I take a sip of my tea and taste the warm lemony slightly peppery goodness, and I just sit still and take it all in. That is my interpretation of Jennifer Lopez' Still. Still is tranquility in a bottle.

Still is my gym scent and my easy wear refresher for combating summer sweat. I actually wasn’t expecting this to be any good, especially from a celebrity. But just like she doesn’t sing her own songs, she at least gets the right team of people to create her “own” fragrances. And Still is pretty awesome. I was on the hunt for a green tea scent and I loved By Kilian’s Tea Imperial but it didn’t last. After trying all tea scents from Elizabeth Arden to niche and luxury, Still remains my everyday favourite. It seems that capturing that delicate steeped tea aroma and getting it to last is quite tricky when it comes to perfumery. Still synthesises this quite well (although it remains a little astringent throughout) but most importantly it lasts (about 5 hours) and it’s such a cheapie that I carry around the 30ml to apply at will. Still is a refreshing, aromatic, almost unisex but green tea with no feminine florals. As a perfume snob, this budget celebrity scent made it to my favourites list. But if a luxury brand duped this and removed the astringent quality to make it smoother, richer and more refined, it would be the best fragrance in the world.

This fragrance is way way underrated. It's well-blended, complex, and sophisticated. I would really like to apologize for how I felt before toward celebrity perfumes. This is a perfection. Not only just the pretty opening, but it develops beautifully throughout all the phases. I don't know much of the terms used for perfumes, but if it was for food, this is what you call "Umami". On my skin, I can smell lily of the valley mixed with honey jasmine-citrus tea AND with a hint of something grainy, which I guess it's rice. If this fragrance was a person, they would be a clean, pretty (of course), sophisticated, dressed up in a dapper white dress/suit with a neat hairstyle but however is open for something wild kind of person, if that makes sense. The longevity is great on me, the top notes stays consistently about 2 hours with a good sillage, after that it turns to a nice nice dry-down until I take a shower at night before bed. It somehow stays forever on my clothes, though. It is a year-round fragrance, but if you want to level it up for winter (like my Ohio winter) then layer it with BR540, it's an absolute oomph! Thank me later <3

I was expecting to love this and yet I was still surprised how smitten I became with this fragrance. I got it a bit over a year ago and quickly became not only one of my favourites but, if I truly had to pick just one, *the* favourite of my fragrances. That remains true even though I have gotten few dozens of new perfumes since then (I truly don't want to think about the exact number lol). It's just such a beautiful fragrance, it has some of the notes I love the most. Pretty tea and citrus in the beginning and after that just gorgeous white florals with my beloved honeysuckle and lily of the valley. Especially perfect for spring and summer, and I received many compliments from friends and family. Such a stunning elegant perfume with the perfect bottle and name to go for it. Will definitely repurchase again and again. A safe choice for a regular day, special occasion, work and so on. (also how can I not like this when my first ever perfume obsession was Elizabeth Arden Green Tea & Green Tea Honeysuckle lol)

At first spray... I thought, meh. This is ordinary. Nothing special. Good to wear around the house or to run errands. Then I did some chores and worked up a sweat. I got this delightful smell and I honestly thought it’s the smell of my new cleaning products (and I was so happy that it had such a beautiful smell!) Then I brought the cleaning spray up to my nose and sniffed it. It smelled of dank citruses and almost vinegar like. So it wasn’t that, it was in fact, Still. It was projecting for at least 3 hours!!! Soooo much better than I had thought. I had the lowest expectations for this. I thought it’ll be your basic perfume. For the most part, it is! But it’s the most beautiful, put together, clean, ladylike scent that I will never feel guilty for over spraying! I will review this in depth soon. But just wanted to hop on here to let you guys know that this is gorgeous! Spend a little bit more than Victoria’s Secret or bath and body works and invest in a bottle of this!

While this is not my favorite perfume, it is my most complimented one. Seriously. My experience with it, is that my boss complimented me on this fragrance then told everyone how good I smelt. I had two male coworkers directly smelling my neck, lol. I got compliments on the elevator in my building twice and a neighbor asked me which perfume I was wearing because she liked how I smell so much. When it comes to the fragrance itself, it smells like a watery, soft spicy, clementine and as time goes by, it gives this sensation of a clean fabric that just came out of the air drier. As it settles on the skin, it smells clean and slightly woody. When it comes to performance, this perfume is exceptional for being a clean, acuatic scent. It last all day on my skin and projects very well when sprayed generously. In conclusion this is an easy reach, you can't go wrong with this perfume if you like acuatic, clean scents.

I was recommended this Fragrance by my Best Friend about 2 Years Ago. She raved and raved about it. I purchased it, sprayed it, hated it and tucked it away in a corner. I decided to declutter my collection a few times since purchasing it however, it would always end up in my can’t get rid of but I don’t know why pile. Anyway; let’s just say that I’m so glad I didn’t give it away. This perfume is so BEAUTIFUL and Calming. The “Tea” note so realistic; the “Fruity” notes add a bit of sweetness; while the “Pepper” adds the perfect amount of spice and the “Floral” adds the perfect finishing touches. I have used this almost every single Night since December 2023! I had to tell Myself to stop using it so much! It’s such a well rounded; everyday; any occasion scent. It’s beautiful it will always be in my collection and I’m ordering another bottle as soon as I’m finished with this.

First spray I did not like it at all - I let it sit for a day or 2 and came back to it, I love it! I have been wearing it a lot lately. It’s fresh & clean and very inoffensive, easily a signature scent, everyday wear or office scent. Lovely in warm weather but also can be worn all year around as well. To me it’s a very feminine and womanly scent, something you’d take with you on vacation because you don’t want to bring your expensive perfume, or wear to the doctors, shopping ect. Definitely not a date night scent or something you’d wear on a night out, more of a day time fragrance. In this fragrance I get the tea scents mixed with light florals and musks - on the dry down I get a beautiful soapy green tea & musk scent that lasts a good 6hrs on me - I paid $20 for a 1.7oz bottle, I would definitely repurchase! JLO does not disappoint with her fragrances.

Let me tell you. I wanted to find a perfume similar to Elizabeth Arden's Green Tea perfume for AGES. Because sadly, I'm not a fan of that perfume😔 something about it didn't mix with my chemistry. So when I smelled this at a discount chemist, I was stunned. It's citrusy, fairly light and has that beautiful earl grey tea note that is very uplifting!! Not as harsh as green tea.. but still has that fresh feel. The dry down is more floral with a hint of musk but is so beautiful mixed with the backround of that tea note. The price is so good as well. I got 100ml for around $25 NZD. I love wearing it when it's sunny. Because I feel like the top notes matches that bright energy🌞 but knowing me I'd wear it any day, any season. Honestly give this a go if you like green tea scents or just clean.. floraly, green perfumes. 10/10 for meeee

I agree with the comments calling this a very unique scent. I was trying to describe this to my friend and really could not find an exact comparison on the market. I get a lot of orange, white floral and amber with some hints of musk in this. Idk what the market value is but I got this from an online discounted fragrance store for $23. For a celebrity fragrance, Still has super impressive lasting power on me, ~12 hours, which makes it one of my favorites especially for the price I got it for. Sillage and projection isn’t beastly but still good for a celeb fragrance. I see most people have listed it as a spring and summer and daytime scent, but idk I feel like the amber, sandalwood and musk in this makes it okay for fall or nighttime. It’s not a bubblegummy sweet floral but I would recommend for a woman of any age.

Ladies if you are looking for an Powerhouse 🌟of a perfume for fall that is inexpensive this is it. This is second review of this perfume to let y'all know that I sprayed this on the back of the neck in my hair too before I got sick on Wednesday its now Sunday. I haven't washed my hair I've just been taken baths for the last few days because I've been sick but I want to but I want to tell you that I can still smell this perfume and it's been 5 days since I sprayed it. This perfume smells so good the💐 honeysuckle in it is so good everything about this elegant gorgeous womanly sexy feminine perfume is high class 💎 I just cant believe it. I tried expensive perfumes at the mall that have zero performance for way more expensive. Jlo thank you for quality. I can smell real precious oils in this timeless scent . 💞

Ohhhh my goodness! 😻 This is a glorious cheapie that I must forever have in my collection. I agree a bit with the Elizabeth Arden Green Tea and Nishane Wulong Cha comparisons, and also have and love both. But this really holds its own with unique Earl Grey, pepper, and rice notes that make the fragrance feel a bit more grounded and contemplative to me. 4 hours of longevity and low-moderate sillage. For an EDT and the price, I'm not going to complain in the slightest. I can respect the notion, but also respectfully disagree with the notion, that this is a perfume for young folks. I think any human aged 9-99 and beyond could wear and rock this if it makes them feel amazing. It's a Swiss army knife of a fragrance. I'm at risk of wanting to bathe in this.

Still really represents an accurate Earl Grey Tea, citrusy, slightly green and well blended. I blind bought this scent because of the Earl Grey note, this is my favourite tea since my childhood. It is very spot on. Then you get this quintuor of white florals (Jasmine/Lily-of-the-Valley/Freesia/Honeysuckle/Orange Blossom) that creates a calm and cozy creamy feeling, that’s complimented by the Sandalwood and Musk. It’s powdery as well with the Iris note, the Peppers, and the Rose. However I don’t get the Green Apple and Rice. It’s cozy, warm, reassuring and calming, delicate and beautiful. Really sensual, and with a moderate and sometimes intimate sillage, and moderate lasting power. Sign me IN !! 10/10

Super happy with this. Picked it up for $10 expecting at most a cheap freshie. But it is seriously SO good. Clean and fresh, very 'green tea' but with florals. It has that bubbly sparkly DNA of a Y2k scent, and is more early 2000s 'tea' than todays 'tea' scents if that makes sense. Its an easy reach, a good everyday scent that feels nostalgic. The sillage and the longevity are really surprising for a $10 discount buy. I could smell it in my bedroom hours after spraying. -One criticism, the opening can be a little astringent. It has a similar bite to it that Delina La Rosee has for me, that sort of tickly pepper that can be a little too strong. Once it airs out a little, it becomes mellower.

So pretty! Earl Grey tea, rice, jasmine, apple- these are some of my absolute favorite notes and here they work so well together. Delicious, but not too edible or sugary. Shower fresh, but not shampooey. Really distinctive for an inexpensive celebrity fragrance- it's a nice, crisp tea-forward scent with good performance. Not a light scent at all, and easy to overspray. FYI: the bottle has been redesigned in the past few years so that it no longer has the ring around the sprayer. If this is ever discontinued I'll be sad, but I won't despair too much because it's inexpensive and I feel like bottles of Still somehow smell a lot better when they've aged a few years anyway.

I read an article here on Fragrantica, where this was mentioned, and as the 50ml was going for just over £16 on Amazon, I decided to blind buy it. The opening is delicious, sweet black tea. As it dries down, the perfume becomes more aromatic. I am picking up the citrus, which gives an Earl Grey tea effect. I can also smell a very light liquorice note, probably the white flowers mixing with the pepper. After a while, I can smell the white flowers even more; very light amber or wood provide a little anchoring, but this is a very light, fresh, uplifting, and delicious perfume. Like a lightly sweetened cup of Early Gray tea. Perfect for warm weather 💛🍵🍋
