Jeremy Lin For Him

This is a super fresh fragrance. The dry down smells so good. Feels fresh all the way. Good projection for 2 hours with 5 to 6 hours longevity. Definitely not for an office use in my opinion. Personally I use this fragrance in the evening for casual outings. This fragrance is far better than CK One.

Weeks later... I've narrowed it down to a bar of soap I had in my youth. Smells just like it, but with a bit of a fruity twist as the ambery orange comes off a bit jammy at first, then more powdery-fizzy like Tang as the fragrance wears on. Still very aromatic, still very generic, but the kicker is the performance - shockingly EXCELLENT by most freshie standards and projects like crazy for the first hour. And wouldn't you know it, even at this price, there is a bit of development to the fragrance. What starts off as soap becomes more fruity-spicy in the mid and a nice, clean spicy vetiver-musk in the far drydown. A pleasant finish when compared with most cheap freshies that eventually degrade into a sour chemical sludge. If I were to compare it with anything, think Azzaro's Chrome Sport minus the ginger and sharp citrus, sweeter and with way better performance. Overall though, considering I got the stuff for free, I wouldn't be disappointed if I bought this for 20 bucks. An easy gift for a beginner, as most inexperienced noses have difficulty surmounting the aquatic genre anyway and likely prefer the smell of Irish Spring over neroli and white florals. My advice to high-schoolers - ditch the Axe and go for something like this instead. Ultra clean, a bit piercing, but refreshing all the same. An inoffensive soap that lasts. Heck, sometimes that's enough. Scent - 6.5/10 Longevity - 7/10 Projection - 7.5/10 Overall - 7/10

This is reminding me STRONGLY of something I've smelled before. DEFINITELY not Aventus. Nowhere close. Maybe along the lines of Original Penguin? Ed Hardy? Some kind of shower gel or deodorant? Anybody? Very synthetic aquatic style scent. Can't believe there are no "marine" notes in this. Don't get any mint, but it's a very aromatic generic orange and mild spicy vetiver in the base...with that dang familiar vibe! Man this is going to bother me. If anyone figures it out, be sure to leave a comment. I would absolutely class this as an "inspired" fragrance though. Pleasant, but with an obvious drugstore quality. Going to give it several more wearings before leaving a true review. Update: I found out what it is - Missoni Pour Homme. Just picked up a bottle and it was confirmation at last. Mystery solved.

Basically, if you like fresh, sporty, clean fragrances that last around 6 hours, this is for you. If you like scents like Bleu de Chanel, Nautica Voyage Sport, Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme, or Tommy Bahama Maritime Journey, this is a great find. Essentially a blue scent with an orange riff. Nothing off here - everything is neatly done. It is easy to like without any notes that smell out of place -- well blended.

Rumor has it that this fragrance was made from Jeremy Lin's tears. On a serious note, this is nothing new or exciting. Smells like shower gel, so it'll remind of Versace Dylan Blue and others.
