Your Oudhness

Love at first smell for me. Got the chance to smell it at Jovoy Paris and they gave me a freesample. My gosh is it beautiful. Im in love with this elemi and vanilla mixture with a touch of woody notes. I want to buy it but it's a bit expensive for me right now.

Opens with a dry, dusty oud accord supported by moss and woody resins. The oud never becomes dirty or animalic. It's refined and wearable, but also surprisingly restrained. Compared to the older Jeroboam fragrances, this one feels much less exciting and doesn't leave the same lasting impression

Very masculine leaning and winter coded. It’s heavily laced with sharp oud and saffron. Woody and harsh it doesn’t seem to blend or smooth out. Having said that I feel it represents its accords and notes. You are getting what you see there. Hard to get off skin, not a safe blind buy.

Without comparing to other scents, I think it smells nice , I'm lacking anything that makes it smell distinct though

Mainly woods and vanilla with heavy saffron , don’t get much Oud. Sits closer to the skin, doesn’t project heavily , becomes a skin scent after an hour, underwhelming for a Harrods exclusive. Entry level but for the price can get much better options, overall not impressed

Starts off quite rubbery and dries down into a powdery woody profile with a tiny hint of sweetness. Very underwhelming.

As always, you should wear what you like. Personally, I found this to be one of the worst fragrances I have ever experienced in 20+ years of collecting and sampling. In fact, I had a new fragrance experience today. As for the first time ever a fragrance made me so nauseous I actually threw up. On a positive note, I guess fragrances can still surprise me after all these years. PLEASE sample this one before buying.

Sharp, rough around the edges, and unpleasant. Oud becomes a bit more wearable when it’s blended with fruits, although I’m not particularly fond of those compositions either. Here, however, it appears in its dirtiest form. It’s headache-inducing and far from mass appealing. Definitely not for me.

Juste un parfum oriental. Du déjà vu rien d'innovant. Gozo et Unue demeurent les meilleurs de cette maison selon moi entant que Sénégalais. Ce parfum dure éternellement waaaw
