Jessica McClintock Number 3

I have to admit I did not like the OG or #3 when it first arrived, I ended up govong away the OH to my daughter in law as it smelt very one noted on me. The # 3 however I kept, each month I'd spritz after my bath in all my perfume areas and thrn magic happened when the perfect season hit!!! I'm already on my second bottle of this, if you dislike it I reccomend holding onto it, trying it immediatly after your shower so it can dry down proper and in differnt seasons. I get compliments all the time when I where this fragramce and it mixes well with other floral perfumes well, today I am testing it with green tea lavender ( a soft feminine (non) medicinal lavender is the only note i wish #3 had) and so far its extra nice and clean together. I find this scent is a great soapy clean base, you want to wear on your clean skin to develope more scent than just the strong lilac (winter time seems to bring out mostly lilac notes)and give it a good chance to dry into the wonderful clean soapy smell. Always test perfumes in different seasons, most of my all time favorite scents were disliked at first due to the crazy cold canadian winter season i tried them in. 😉 I'll definitely keep this perfume as a staple base or just to enjoy alone.

Very very new to fragrance, so I couldn't quite tell you what notes I smell (besides lilac.) The box says: Top Notes - Lilac, Jasmine, Clyamen Heart Notes - Magnolia, Muguet (Lily-of-the-valley), Water Fruits Base - Sandalwood, Musk Intensely feminine ! Leans mature women, I think, on the cusp of Old-Lady. Though I wear it as a nineteen year old woman & I love it. You can definitely smell it on you- though it won't fill a room or anything like that. It lasts near the whole day & lies still, i.e., it will not take you on any olfactory adventures. I snagged a 3.4 oz bottle of it on Ebay for $18.00. It is beautiful, sort of watery (aquatic...?) floral scent. It is a lake in early morning, blue on dewy spring flowers. The color of the box I feel is accurate to it. Spring in a bottle :]

I really think that I found my perfect floral perfume! Blindly bought it on eBay because all the scent notes are all my favorite smelling flowers. I figured I was going to hate it because I wanted to like it so much but it’s a gorgeous scent! Has good sillage but won’t make you choke on how strong it is. But you can definitely smell it. Definitely smells green and like lilac and lily of the valley. Trust me if you like floral you will love this!

I have a small bottle of this, as a gift from my friend. I feel like I'm in the garden, in the morning, where all flowers are in blossom. I can smell lilie and magnolia and rose. So powdery. The lasting power is good. I like it. If you like strong & full floral scent, you should have this. I will buy it again when the bottle is empty.

aquatic lily of the valley with musky rose touch. light fresh and transparent. classic minimalist kind of fragrance. cant go wrong with this one. doesnt last very long, but still lasts longer than most lily of the valley soliflores easily available in department stores.

Lilly of the Valley is a favorite scent of mine; the original Jessica McClintock fragrance is a signature scent of mine. Number 3 is much muskier but more blue “watery” and simultaneously powdery. Number 3 is a zen vibe scent. I imagine watellily.

This is like Jessica McClintock with mostly LOTV but it is much greener, drier and not as sweet. Very pretty, fresh and long lasting. I love this house.

This fragrance makes me remember Perry Ellis 360o, but this one is better, in my humble opinion. Also, this has a some truly charge of peace... Its a decent and pure floral eau de perfume. It can make me fell comfortable, and think about warm day with the pleasant visit of a hummingbird :D I can smell a shiny magnolia, lillie and rose... Could be very suitable for a garden wedding :D or maybe, for some fairy or disney theatrical time with kids of the family :D jejeje Its not overpowering scent like Beyond Paradise and others florals perfumes... this one is nice... and feminine, subtle and cute Could be, that any body think its a "grandma scent"... "old lady smell"... But i don't think so, about neither perfume. "All is a taste thing"... o mejor dicho en español: "Todo es cosa de gustos" ... And, fortunately, my grandma always smells good in my memory of her :)

This is a wonderful, light fragrance that changes several times during the course of wearing. I will say that the official JM notes list “water fruits” which is not listed in the notes. Initially, Number 3 is evocative of the original Jessica Mcclintock. After it settles, the water fruits come out, which keeps it from being simply a white floral. I like this. It is not ground breaking but it is easy to wear and perfect for any time, and any occasion.

I don't get any particular notes in this. Just a very, VERY powdery sweet floral. I was hoping for more of a lilac sense but it's still nice once it dries down a bit. When I first sprayed it the scent was almost overwhelming. It eventually dried and now I get a generic, though still pleasant, floral. Lasts quite a long time with moderate sillage.

This smells nothing like the original Jessica McClintock to me. This is a nicer smell with more florals involved. The original smells extremely rose based to me. I liked this but didn't love it. The dry down smells very similar to the drydown of 5th Avenue by Elizabeth Arden but I own 5th Avenue so I'll have to pass on this one. Overall, clean and soft. Not a bad smell, just smells too much like one I already own.

Good grief ! I can’t believe how pretty this is ! It is almost a perfect white floral . I was not expecting much when I ordered this, but I must state that this one astounds me . It is rare that a blind buy turns out to be so pleasing . It is rare that the first spray of a perfume has a profound effect on me , but this is so impressive . This perfume smells to me like a white floral with some aquatic notes , though there are not aquatic notes listed. The lily of the valley is soft but quite detectable and makes this composition sing . I do not find this too intense, but find it perfect for any occasion and very classic and feminine . As another reviewer stated before me, I love this house. I am buying a backup today And am so glad to have this . I think i will wear it a great deal because it is so feminine and classy . As far as longevity, I am pleased . I do not spray on my skin because I do not want chemicals in my blood stream , but this lasts really well sprayed on my clothing .

This is a lovely aquatic floral, my favorite and I've tried them all. I can't wear Issy at all, or Diamonds and Sapphires just an immediate no. Escape, though less floral is too sweet. Still I won't be buying this I don't like magnolia or jasmine and those notes are bothering me I like the rose aquatic cyclamen musk and lilac and the LOTV is tamed. but those 2 flowers never work for me. If you like them, this should be fine if you like this type of frag. I prefer a cleaner, sportier, less floral more unisex leaning aquatic like Ralph Lauren Polo Sport Woman, a signature, but I'd wear this too for a floral mood if I could get those 2 flowers out. I believe it's the jasmine that's really killing it for me.

Love this one. It's light, girly, and feminine. It does remind me of fancy hotel soap. In my mind soapy=clean, so there is that fresh component too. The initial fragrance notes are lily of the valley mostly, with perhaps some lilac and possibly hyacinth? It is not super strong, so I use a bit more than with other perfumes. After a while JM3 evolves into a soft, watery skin scent. I wear this during Spring and Summer when I need something subtle. A lovely soapy floral. For a zippy lily of the valley scent, you really can not beat the original Jessica McClintock perfume. That one for me is sheer Heaven on Earth.

This reminds me of Diamonds and Sapphires very much only this is a smoother version, less jarring in the top notes. I prefer the dry down of Diamonds, it's more of an Escape type aquatic, but too light. This one is a floral aquatic in the same family of Issy but none of these were the aquatic I was looking for. Number 3 does have a shampoo smell at the very end of it. Not for me. The very end like this does remind me of Walk on Air. I like that better, but again, not what I'm looking for. Very floral, these.

I share a lot of associations with reviewers, below, #3 reminds me of a soft rain pattering on lush greens and delicate flowers, or maybe what remains after an evening storm as the sun comes out to make it all shimmer. A true fresh-water aquatic, and a beautiful, affordable LOTV that certainly carries some McClintock DNA.

This fragrance is like spring in a bottle. The longevity is great and you will be able to smell this fragrance on your wrist the entire day. Floral, floral, floral when you are tired of winter and really need a springtime boost. The lily of the valley in this scent is definitely prominent.

Not for me! Too much sweet and overpowering and not harmonic with my nose in the least. YUK, YUK, YUK! I have a bottle still in the box if anyone wants to trade with me. 1.7oz EDP just message me.

Everyone lists the original Jessica McClintock as the great LOTV scent but have they smelled this? This is much more straightforward Lily flower without the adelhyde blast or other notes.

This WAS re-released as "Brilliance" I've had the original for years, several bottles. Brilliance is just the Reform of it. Almost just as good,,,96%.

A nice, feminine, inoffensive fragrance that can be worn in the office without fear of choking co-workers. It's very pretty, very springtime.
