Creamy Dessert

I would not buy this for myself, as it does not last as long as I prefer (oddly, the sillage is pretty decent, go figure). However, the smell is DELICIOUS. I would love to receive this scent as a gift, but would only spend my own cash on it if they made it longer-lasting! Gourmand scents are supposed to be rich, and to me, rich means long-lasting!

Oh how I wanted to love Creamy! And at first sniff I did. A gourmand lovers dream wrapped in soft wispy clouds of Vanilla with a sweet, sticky Caramel stream meandering teasingly through it. The first words out of my mouth were literally "Oh my god"! I held out my arm for my husband to sniff and he was equally impressed and as he was heading back to his man-cave said "if you can find some of that get you a bottle". And then he was gone and I sniffed again to loose myself once more in that warm carmely dream.. But it was gone. I sniffed again. Nope, nothing. Sniffing a third time the realization sunk in that my sweet carmely treat lasted approximately three minutes and was, I'm sad to say, a dud. Perhaps if you layered the 18 different bath, body, hair, and belly button (yes, really) products with the edt it would last a little longer. Like maybe fifteen minutes or even twenty! Good luck if you try it, perhaps it was just something with my body chemistry and I was just unlucky with it. It's really too bad, it was delightful while it lasted.

I really liked this scent. Very sweet with lovely intense vanilla and mainly caramel. As with all the range it didnt last long. But was fun to use.

I really liked the scent of this, but it didn't last AT ALL, none of her "dessert" line didn't at all. I'm so glad I got them marked down on eBay. lol What a waste. The scent(s) stayed for maybe 5 minutes, and that's it. It was like splashing flavored water on you. It had potential though. :(

Got this on Ebay cheap as I love vanilla, caramel and gourmand fragrances in general. I really like Fancy, but this is just yuck. It smells sweet, but like plastic. Lasts all of five seconds which considering how bad it is, is actually a good thing.

No good very childish and cheap. This smells like the cake splashes at claries in the early 2000's.

As I'm about to take a bath, this seemed an opportune time to dab on a glob of Jessica Simpson CREAMY DESSERT, of which I have managed to accumulate a small collection of vials, thanks to a certain on-line emporium which changes its free samples weekly(???????). But, hey, it did cost nothing, so perhaps I shouldn't complain. Well, except that upon reading the ingredients list I espy "aspartame". For those of you outside of the organic chemistry loop, aspartame aka nutrasweet is a dipeptide one of the cleavage products of which when processed in your body is.... (drum roll)... formaldehyde! This explains why those of you who used to chug 2 liter bottles of Diet Coke in well-meaning but ultimately misguided efforts to cut calories found yourselves suffering from severe headaches as a result! Now for my review: CREAMY appears to be a sort of substance (it comes in a gel-like globular rather than liquid form...) which one might well find in a sex toys shop, as the claim is that it is edible!!!! According to the manufacturer's card: "It's a fragrance. It's a flavor. You wear it. Then share it." Hmmm... so this is not really a perfume at all but rather an "intimacy aid" gel which smells like sweet vanilla caramel. As for the taste? I think that I'll pass. Thanks all the same.

I really wanted to love this scent. A girl I ran into was wearing it and on her, it was lovely. On me, it smells a bit like warm Play-Doh. It isn't an unpleasant scent, but it's definitely not what I had hoped for. It smells nothing like vanilla, caramel, or really any food substance. I echo the sentiment that it does not seem to last at all. I also noticed that when I have this on, my cats (and toddler niece) seem to lick my wrist. Incidentally, it tastes a bit like sugar water. I can only assume the two are related.

I don't have a bottle, but after the reviews. I want one! Sounds like it is great for the gourmand layering
