Fancy Love

This has been my longest running signature perfume, as in I was wearing it before I even knew what champagne smelled like. One of my most complimented perfumes and certainly one that makes my loved ones a little,, aroused LOL. I can't even remember when I started wearing this but approaching my mid-twenties and growing my olfactory indulgences further I can smell the champagne booziness in this, it made me worry it smelled a little cheap now that I've taken a bit of a break from wearing it to explore other fragrances with a more mature compliment to my personality but alas, it is always going to be a classic to me -it just fits my natural body chemistry like a glove. Still smells godly on the morning after and definitely is reminiscent of a first love. One time, one of my first loves actually told me she wished she could melt the smell of me into a candle for her and I'm certain this was the perfume I frequented at the time when I was 19. 10ish hours in to this fragrance it adopts that "your skin but sweeter" muskyness that I adore. Still slightly lingers 24 hours into wearing (not a strong village of course, but still there if you put your arm up to my nose). I likely wouldn't purchase if I smelled it for the first time today but knowing how harmonious it works on my skin and how affordable it is it's such a valuable repurchase. You will find it matches your body chemistry well if anyone's ever told you your skin smells of almonds naturally. 9/10 fragrance year round but very spring/summer oriented.

I can't believe how much I love this. This perfume is so sweet and unique. I don't think I have smelled anything like it before. This was the flanker in the Fancy line that I was least interested in trying, and it turns out it's my second favorite (OG Fancy is my fave). I had the opportunity to try it at a bargain store near my house and I was surprised at how much I loved it. I had to buy a bottle. I'm not really sure how to describe this one or what I'm even smelling. I know this is considered a floral, and I am NOT usually a floral person. The only floral I usually wear is Britney Spears' Curious (even the Radiance perfumes were too floral for me). This perfume has a sweet smell to me, so I'm not sure if the flowers chosen are sweeter smelling flowers or if it's just all the notes combined to create something sweet and interesting. There aren't any fruit notes beside the bergamot, and there's not vanilla listed, so I'm not sure whats contributing to the sweetness of this. I don't smell the patchouli that is listed. It's a hard perfume to describe for this reason, but all I know is it's pretty and I love it. It's soft but it has somewhat of a creaminess to it, without it being desserty (it's not a gourmand/dessert perfume). If anyone is curious about it but doesn't want to buy a full bottle, FrangranceNet has a rollerball on their site. Gorgeous!

My adopted 10 year old son is becoming a real "Renaissance Man". He is the typical boy...into video games, watching and playing all sorts of sports, wrestling with his dad and showing the first signs of interest in girls. However, he also loves and appreciates my interests...vintage clothing and cars, classic movies from the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s (especially musicals) and fragrance. With him it is definitely aromatherapy and usually happens at bedtime. He loves sniffing the bottles of my high end fragrances such as my vintages of Jean Patou's Joy, Fracas & Bandit, Chanel No. 5 & Chanel Coco, Guerlain Shalimar & Mitsouko, D'Orsay Intoxication and so many more. When he has trouble sleeping I allow him to raid my cheapies to spray on his pillow. I doubt that any of his buddies know about this, lol. Fancy Love is one of his favorites, lulling him into a sweet, peaceful sleep. I wear it to bed on occassion myself. This fragrance reminds me of Angora sweaters, kittens, powder puffs, baby chicks. It has great longevity and initially goes on strong. However, it dries down into sweet softness. We have not tried any other JS fragrance as this was a $3 blind buy from a Thrift Shop. If JS's other cheapies are on par as this one, I'll be game!!!

Wow, this is like a superior version of Burberry Woman! It has the same peach note, shampoo-floral freshness, custardy vanilla and fuzzy woody base. I know it lists peach blossom and not peach as a note, but honestly it smells like peaches, and also a little bit like apricots. Warm and lactonic fruitiness. The champagne note and bergamot are a nice touch that add a certain sparkle to the opening. But the overall effect is very warm, cozy and delicious, kind of autumnal with a harvest vibe. Which doesn't mean that it wouldn't work in other seasons, it's a real all-year-round feel good perfume to me. As you can see in the "this reminds me of" column, there are many fragrances that are roughly in the same family, some more so, some less. Burberry Woman is the mother of all of them, but I like Fancy Love better. It feels creamier and airier and doesn't have the green apple note that I find to be quite strong in Burberry. I'm not the biggest fan of green apple, so the celebrity version wins for me. Both are rather affordable and perform great on my skin, so it really just boils down to personal taste. I also love Fancy and Fancy Nights, Jessica Simpson's fragrance line really does not disappoint.

I purchased Fancy Love specifically for the frangipani note because plumerias are my absolute favorite flower and scent in the world. Anything with frangipani I am willing to try, and I was not disappointed. The frangipani is not the most dominant note but it plays a key part in the loveliness of this fragrance. Upon the first spray, I definitely get that citrus and champagne sparkle. Once it begins drying down, the floral mixture is so smooth! It's a little tropical, a little silky, but equal parts beautiful. As time goes on it warms up, but the fragrance is never overpowering or cloying. The longevity and sillage are typical for what you'd expect from a cheaper celebrity fragrance, but this blend does not smell cheap to me. However, fair warning, my husband did say that, while pleasant, it smells a little like a grandma. I suspect he believes all grandmothers smell like flowers. For the price, I think it's a safe purchase just to try it and see for yourself if you enjoy a good floral mix. You can usually find this at your local discount retailers like TJ Maxx or Burlington. I'll be purchasing the body spray and a backup bottle if I spot it on clearance again.

DO NOT - I REPEAT, DO NOT - SMELL THIS WHEN YOU FIRST SPRAY! I sprayed this, expecting the 4.0 rating this perfume has. I was immediately offended and almost put this away to return. I should have learned by now that the initial smell isn't what it's going to dry down to on your skin. After 15-20 minutes, this delightfully unique perfume has won me over. It's so feminine, intimate, and light. The peach and champagne shines on my skin. Even though powder isn't a note, I do smell a slight powder on my skin as well as caramel. So if I had to pin down the scent in a couple words, it would be "peachy caramel" but in a good way! I thought I would actually want more caramel with this scent layered Mariah Carey's Dreams with it and it smells amazing together. I'm new to perfumes and my nose isn't refined, but this is nothing like I've smelled so far. Definitely worth the high rating and purchased at Ross for $15 - a steal. *EDIT : although I absolutely loved the scent, it barely lasts 30 mins on my skin. If I have to spray this like body mist to get any effect, then it's not worth it to me. I had to press my nose to my skin to smell it on myself.

Of all things....Supposedly disliking most modern celeb scents, I now actually own all three of the original Jessica Simpson Fancy line. Such an enjoyable trio! Is Fancy Love sophisticated or gourmand? NO. Fancy Nights is alluringly sophisticated and Fancy is gourmand. Fancy Love has a simple goodness hard to pin down. I picture a lovely Debutante, standing in a sunny window sipping champagne, nose to her latest bouquet.... From another perspective this is sunshine, clean curtains, fresh air, and a touch of liquid dish soap. <3 Whatever your impression, Fancy Love is a bright and happy scent for layering or enjoying on it's own. Simple but Good. Update - I received So many complements the other day when I used 4 sprays... The impression I received had more character and robust, classic good taste than previously, and surprisingly everyone else reacted that way too. Fancy Love stayed with me persistently and noticeably throughout a very busy day with many other scents competing for attention in the air. Not boring, bold, or generic smelling, but quality in every respect. Well named... it's a LOVE.

Peach Bellinis on a Wooden Serving Tray... Opens with a burst of softly sparkling peach-blossom & champagne that reads like a combination of peach bellinis and jarred peaches & apricots in light syrup. This is supported by multi-faceted bergamot, that deepens into a sweet floral heart that has peachy, velvety, tropical, violet & aquatic nuances, all resting on an amber base with musky, woody & patchouli tones. In the air I get something close to peach bellinis, and up close on the skin there's also a pencil shavings note from the woods. Contrast to Burberry Women Burberry: Fancy Love is no doubt inspired by Burberry Women, and my first impression was that I'm smelling Burberry Women, and there are striking similarities, but these are slightly different. Fancy Love has a faint sparkling quality and better performance. As with Burberry Women, overall I get a syrup-y apricot/peach, like jarred apricots & peaches in light syrup that leans to peach bellinis. Overall: peach bellinis on a wooden tray. I'm a longtime fan of Burberry Women, so it's a love for me. Enjoy!

I've already reviewed this and this was my signature for about 5 years. Clearly my nose has changed. I always got a peachy warm vanilla from this. But one day I went to put it on and I could barely smell anything. I threw my bottle away thinking it went bad or something, but no. I repurchased a big big bottle from Macy's and still all I could smell was a barely there musky floral scent...almost reminds me of light blue now. It's unfortunate cause I miss that creamy peachy scent I once loved! I think it's a great perfume for someone who likes light citrusy floral scents. Edit: I'm revisiting this fragrance today and now I smell that warm peachy soft and powdery vanilla that I used to smell ! I think my nose is changing again. I'm guessing hormones have a lot to do with what you smell! I'm in love again with this little gem. I only wish the longevity was better, but I'll just layer it with the body mist. I'm wondering if I'm gonna hate fancy now 🤣. Used to hate fancy when fancy love was my signature!

Wow, every time I sniff the nozzle I get a little bliss moment. I’ll get amazing tiny wafts now and then to remind me that I smell wonderful like a fluffy, sweet, peach cloud of sparkles. There’s a depth to this too though. Can’t explain -maybe the amber? Update: I was in line at Disneyland behind a woman wearing this (yes I did ask! Lol) and the sillage was gorgeous. I was grateful to be able to sniff this cloud-like sweet breeze instead of sweaty people in a long summer line. Now I know what others around me are getting. It’s different than sniffing your own wrist and trying to discern what that is projecting to bystanders! I wear fragrance for me, but I know this one is pleasant to crowds and doesn’t smell “perfumey” if that makes sense? I have had Burberry Woman and can tell you this is almost exactly that, with more of a bubbly marshmallow scent at the top lifting it in the air. Really good stuff!!

This was my signature a few years back and I loved It ! It gave me vibes of d&g the one and rose the one for a fraction of the price! Side note I hated fancy around that time. Fancy was too cloying for me and fancy love was the perfect soft peachy vanilla scent that I fell in love with. My nose has completely change in the last year and now I found a new love for fancy and all things heavy and gourmand. I recently bought a new bottle of fancy love and now I find it to be a lot fresher and more floral than i used to ! Just goes to show how different noses smell different things and how noses change over time. Everyone's nose is different and to one person they may smell peaches and cream and to another they may smell fresh peach and bright florals! Overall this is a spring and summer appropriate fragrance...perfect for if you live in a warmer climate .

I used to sniff this perfume every now and than when it occured in the shops, it smelled good than, and, I have always regret not buying it when I had the chance to do so, but, now it's mine, a supercute little bottle which fits perfect in my little hand, and all good things have been said about it, and the bad things. First spray is beautiful, with flowers I think, but than it's gone in 2 minits, it's gone even before I can pinpoint out what I can smell, the smell that is left on my skin is some kinda frangrance free baby wipes, but, it smells in fact better on my clothes, more like a scented baby wipes (?) Buy it if you love that cute bottle, but if you want a perfume which smells something, I will recommand something else or just plain strawberry jam Edit: I've just found out what this perfume smells like on my clothes: Curaçao

This one is my fave out of the original fancy, and fancy girl . I love this one , then fancy girl, both very different scents . This one is more grown up . It’s warm and comfy to me . Something about it reminds me of a perfume my grandma used to wear . It actually reminds me quite a bit of plain Burberry perfume called Burberry I think . I was pleasantly surprised when I smelled this . We have the 3 pack of body sprays at work and everyone keeps stealing the original fancy, So I bought the discounted one of the other 2 and finally tried them . Then I bought all 3 perfumes full size, too bad I don’t like fancy very much lol I will probably return . Fancy love is cozy , grown up , and I’m having trouble describing the scent . But it’s my fave out of the 3 . Mixes great with fancy girl !

This one was a slow waltz around a plush ballroom with a good friend you've known all your life... half an hour later you begin looking at this friend with puzzled eyes and start realizing that he could well end up being the love of your life, the father of your children. And the waltz becomes a moment to remember. Yes it starts out peachy and very burberry classic and you think you are going to enjoy it because it is comforting despite the thought that there is nothing extraordinary here that you haven't smelt before. Give it 30 minutes and the magic starts. It evolves into a dreamy creamy fragrance and whatever your age, and wherever you are, you will not be able to control the urge to bring your wrist up to your nose!! Definitely high on my 'love' list.

This was one of the first perfumes I bought when I started collecting inexpensive blind buys. I bought this based on the idea that it supposedly smelled like Burberry, which was my signature scent at the time. It does remind me of Burberry but it's more musky and less warm, if that makes sense. It does remind me somewhat of Taylor and 5th Avenue Style, which on me are both lighter, crisper versions of Burberry. Back to Fancy Love, it is my favorite of the Fancy line and when first sprayed, I get that bubbly champagne with peach blossom. Then it becomes a floral with the peach blossom, frangipani and peony laying on a base of musky amber. It's an inexpensive scent for all year round and day or night for me and is one of my favorites.

So I first smelled this on my neighbor, and had to ask what it was she was wearing! I bought the hugest bottle right away...I wore it several times but felt like it didn’t last that long so I kinda moved on to other fragrances. Fast forward a few years,and I remember really liking it back then so I found a huge gift set at my local discount store. I absolutely love it! This is my husbands favorite scent on me, he always compliments me which he NEVER does on any other fragrance. I’m actually surprised since I own some pretty high end fragrances. I still feel like the longevity isn’t great on this one, I have to reapply every 2-3 hrs which is a bummer but it’s cheap enough where that isn’t that big of a deal.

This is hot to this day! It takes me back to junior year of high school. I cruised through the giant body mist in a semester and damn clearly I was smelling good. It’s a bit sweeter than I remember and with the faintest baby powder note, but it’s so good and musky! I don’t think it smells cheap especially compared to current popular frags. The peach is potent. I love the tickle of sharpness, maybe from champagne or even patchouli- it’s not just girly and sweet, there’s a bit of edge. I like it more as it dries down and the amber shines. Longevity is insaneee. Casual cheapie to wear when you’re feeling flirty. Year round but xtra sexy in the heat.

I just....I cant...hell!I done died and went to heaven! I don't play favourites often with my perfume collection, but this right here is a game changer. I have found my true signature scent. This has got to be the sexiest scent i have ever smelt. It is so soft and creamy and i get something luscious and beautiful, i guess its the peach. Its very soft but when it hits your nose,its ridiculously pleasant.This is the second perfume i purchased from the Jessica Fancy line and i am very very impressed. This oozes sophistication and the trail you leave behind says ''grown woman''. I am soooo drunk in love with this.

I love this fragrance so much. I rarely see it anymore but I did find a bottle for $12.99 at Ross. The bottle is so small I've been rationing it and I will definitely buy the next bottle I see. I’m a sucker for 00s celebrity perfumes, and this one is very Y2K. It's powdery and fresh and somewhat peachy. The people who are getting soapy have never worn J Lo Glow. Fancy Love smells like the mall, like shoplifting at Victoria’s Secret with your best friend and then driving her Mitsubishi to Sonic for Route 44s and flirting with the carhops. This actually might be one of my favorite fragrances.

This has been my go to scent ever since Taylor by Taylor Swift was discontinued. It gives me similar vibes (the dry down is basically identical) but definitely more sophisticated. Less fruity and more fresh. I adore this scent! It’s like delicious champagne, peaches and cream. It’s so feminine and beautiful. The only reason I don’t wear it more than I do is bc it tends to give me a headache. This scent is powdery though and if it were any stronger in that category I wouldn’t be able to wear it. But as it is, it is lovely. An awesome everyday perfume.

Every time I wear this, I am happy to do so. It's one of my most repurchased scents ever. I'm easily on my 5th or 6th bottle. It is easy to wear, smells amazing, lasts forever, is super affordable, easy to find, pairs with other scents well, but lasts on its own. Easily a top 10 scent for me. I still don't know what notes pop out the most to me, but I've always gotten a fresh, creamy, almost candied floral vibe. I just adore it, and I always recommend it to others. 10/10!

I bought a gift set of this because it was so reasonable. I like Fancy and Fancy Nights so I wanted to try this. Also this is the only celeb perfume line i have ever purchased. I was surprised at how great this smells! I love how all the notes I can separate and smell. This lasts a good while and for me sillage is moderate. I'm really surprised at how good her scents are. When it fades it leaves a beautiful musk with a floral touch. I just love it.

Beautiful! Smells so lush and creamy, the notes are so perfectly blended together I can’t really pick out anything other than the peach blossom. So it does have that peaches and cream vibe too it and it just smells so beautiful. All of Jessica’s Fancy line are so unique and well put together it’s mad. Last power is great too, you get about 9 hours on skin and almost 24 hours with this one and the OG fancy and fancy nights!

I did not like this at first. To be fair, I think it’s because I expected something different. This is a beautiful, peachy floral. Very bright and feminine without being juvenile. I wouldn’t say that this is a safe blind buy, it reminds me a bit of a “doll smell” from a toy in the 80’s. Projection and sillage is fair longevity is meh on skin but will last for days on clothes. I will keep this one in my rotation.

I discovered this when it first came out fell instantly in love with it. I remember it being much, much stronger back in the day because the bottle I recently got is pretty light. It’s extremely creamy, slightly sweet and airy on my skin. A great bedtime fragrance but works during the day as well. I cannot detect any singular note called out in the note profile, just a beautiful cloud of soft sweetness.

inexplicably one of my most complimented perfumes especially from men. it is cozy and creamy and sweet but it still never reads as anything all that special to my nose, and i cannot help but feel like it's slightly more appropriate for a teenage girl's signature daytime scent. evidently well-liked and dominantly floral. not a personal favorite but an apparent crowd pleaser

Smells like spring sunshine and innocence but also exudes simple elegance. I see a lot of reviewers saying it smells like peaches and cream. I'm unsure if they mean that it smells gourmand to them or not but to me, this is definitely not gourmand nor all that sweet. As Fragrantica states, it really is an amber floral scent and does not smell like dessert at all.

This is one of the few fragrances that smells the very same, from start to finish. It's light, sweet, fluffy, milky, almost tropical in a way. (It has some sort of a bamboo aspect/note) this is definitely not a floral Fragrance by any means, this is way more gourmand/fruity. It's really nice. Non offensive and smells lovely. This can definitely be over sprayed!

It smells like Lux body lotion blended with spring blossoms and the magic of sparkling champagne 🥂🌸. My God, this perfume is stunning. It’s very creamy, soft, and delicate. This perfume is amazing. Not only do I love it, but everyone around me does too. I get so many compliments with this one even 12 hours after spraying it, which means the longevity and sillage are great. It is delicately powdery and floral to me. I cannot smell the citrus at all nor does this smell overly sweet, which is always a good thing IMO.

Fancy Love holds a special place in my heart because it was the first perfume I smelled that really made me go, "wow what is that???" It's just beautiful!!! It has a lightness and a creaminess that is unique and it doesn't smell like every other celebrity scent that's just fruity floral. This really lasts on me and gets compliments.

Great one! It's airy and warm at the same time. Smells yellow and happy. It's very floral but cottony too. I equate it with vanilla, but there is no vanilla. The frangipani is noticeable and by over spraying just a little I get an all day scent bubble. Compliment getter. Reminds me a teensy bit of the OG Sinner from KVD.

Soooo cute! I love how this smells! Loveee the champagne note and the fruity sweetness it has. Lovely alternative if you want a less expensive Women by Burberry. Very bright and feminine and suitable for everyday wear for younger people; but not at all teenagery. Worth the buy, I found it for around $20 at Ross :)

Loved this one for years. Probably my fave “Fancy”. I had a bottle that was 90% gone and what little was left had gone bad. So I let it go and didn’t have it anymore. After missing the smell I grabbed a full 3.4oz bottle cheap on eBay and glad I did! As before this one is a fave. Such a compliment getter too!

I dream of wearing this one on my wedding day. It reminds me of Taylor, which I loved but ran out of. I do enjoy the mix of the floral and champagne. If I could choose only one celebrity scent for the rest of my life, this would be the one. Lasting power is moderate.

Dupe alert! This smells so good! I am a huge fan of the original burberry scent, in fact it's my favorite burberry. I did see this compared to it but I took it with a grain of salt. Sprayed it and boom instantly reminds me of it. This is beautiful and classic.

I love this perfume! I had this sitting on my shelf and decided to wear this and omg’osh I love it so much !! The champagne smells so good and it blends so well with the florals, I also get musk which I love even more. It lasts long and it projects well too.

So sweet, cozy and candylike! It was a love at first sniff! Smells exactly like Taylor swift's perfume and I love that one too. The drydown is the only thing that keep them apart atleast go my nose. I really like the bottle. clean, simple and easy to hold.

Very cute fragrance. I would never think that all these notes together will create something so deep sweet and beautiful. It’s strong, but truly addictive. Im a new fan of Jessica’s perfumes. Now I understand where all the commotion was coming from.

This is a caressing fragrance, creamy, fluffy, delicately sweet, soooo lovely. My second from Jessica Simpson, after my absolute favorite original Fancy. I will try all her fragrances, I hope to be enchanted as I am with Fancy and Fancy Love.

This is a fantastic buy for the price. Smells like hairspray to me but in the best way possible. I get fresh, floral fruity vibes from this. more of a day scent for me. No champagne note but it does feel crisp.

the most complimented perfume I ever wore.... I had bottles for 1200 dollars; but this one always men stopped me and asked me what I have on me. Especially boys in Boystown in Chicago hihihih

Vanilla birthday cake and champagne. Doesn't last as long as the original fancy but it "melts" so nice on the skin. Smells so good in warm spots, like the crook of your elbow.

Beautiful, crisp peach Bellini that is fizzy and sparkling rather than sweet. High quality and quite unique for the cheap price. I prefer this to the original Fancy.

Oh my God i love this scent. Its so creamy with soft fruits. This was actually what I wished Kayali Wedding Silk would smell like as a wedding scent. Love it

This is what I call a shower perfume. I wear this when I'm going to bed and I layer it with Cabotine Grès. It's divine.

This is a very nice, milky champagne scent on me. The body spray seems to last longer on me than the perfume.

Fancy Love is one of my all time favorites. It smells like an orange creamsicle while still being grown up.

This is beautiful and reminds me of one of my holy grails! Allure edp by Chanel gives me the same vibe!
