I Fancy You

I sprayed my knee last night before going to bed with this scent. Doing this gives what I find, and comparable impression of a person standing next to me with the same perfume on. This stood the test and lasted through the night and was there in the morning. Longevity for me is good at 7 hours. Any reviews that say this is clean are true. This is very comparable with Liz Claiborne Soul. The two together smell a bit different, but in a blind test on another person just wearing one, you easily could chose the wrong scent. I happen to love both scents. The bottle is lovely and sparkly and would be a fantastic Christmas tree ornament if it were round. I don't care for Fancy Nights so much, but love that bottle also. And it IS perfection for the "type" of scent it's meant to be. Jessica Simpson's scents last and last. I will keep buying every scent she does for the simple fact that they are exactly what I look for in a scent. Priced modestly, produced by an amazing nose, visually appealing, endlessly lasting, easy to find! For myself, I haven't found any designer or house produce anything over and above these scents. But keep in mind, I have never once found anything I'd pay for by Chanel! It just hasn't happened... yet. This review is from a very generic person!

I've wanted to try this for a long time being that the original Fancy is one of my all time favorite scents. I bought a mini size to try it & the same day I received the mini I ended up purchasing the full size. This is clean and refreshing. To me this smells exactly like the original Garnier Fructis shampoo in the best way. On me, the pear is prominent for the first hour or so & then it Segways into hyacinth & woodsy notes but still with the apple and pear in the background. I absolutely love this. It's not super complex or unique but it is good. Lasts on my skin for almost 7 full hours before it becomes a closer to the skin scent & lasts on my clothes for a couple of days. As much as I love the og Fancy, the longevity isn't great but this definitely does! Huge thank you to the reviewer who said it pairs well with bbw sea island cotton bc it absolutely does! I've also paired it with underwater oasis & papaya paradise cove by bbw and they are great with it as well! My fave is Under Water Oasis bc it leans slightly clean masculine ish & this is super clean fruity so together they don't battle for dominance they just blend perfectly. I already know that is going to be my spring combo of choice and I've only had IFY for a week or so.

I just got a 1 fl oz bottle of this fragrance and now that I've worn it around, I think I can offer a better review. I think this is a really pretty, fresh, and clean scent. It opens up with the fruits which aren't too fruity, but rather crisp. The bergamot makes it super fresh and zesty, which I think is pretty :) Then, the white floral core makes the fragrance a bit more feminine and soft, which gives it that fresh out-of-the-dryer smell. The base is just a classic sandalwood/musk, which adds more depth. Even though it's not really unique, I Fancy You is a really good casual scent. It sits close to the skin, so for someone else to smell it they'd have to get closer to you. In my opinion, that light quality makes it more intimate and possibly romantic (depends on whose close to you). This fragrance is great for work or school because it won't offend anyone. It could also work for a casual outing (or date, I'm not a rigid follower of the "rules"). Overall, I'd give I Fancy You a 4/5. It's good for what it is and I really enjoy it.

Love this for a daily scent for work or church. Just fresh, nice and a better quality than most celeb fragrances. Smells like you just got out of the shower. Lasts a few hours. More of a warm weather scent. Maybe not a date perfume. I have a large bottle which will last a couple of years at least. Edit: maybe it won't last that long. I find myself wearing this frequently to work and refreshing in the evening. It has a JHAG Not a Perfume vibe. Smells very soft and natural. Maybe like those eccentric molecule dupes. I am starting to love. I apply 6 or 8 sprays to the lower body. Suitable for health care workers, if that matters. Edit November 21, 2022 the nozzle broke and I like it enough to get another.

This was a blind buy whilst visiting the USA. I have tried the others in this range and the price tag won me on this occasion and of course being curious. This is a very fresh/clean scent. I do smell light/soft floral notes, nothing too heavy. And some fruitiness to it but nothing overbearing, very subtle yet fresh fruits. Lovely musk on the dry down mixed with a soft sweet undertone. Again like the others in this range, the first spray is quite strong but it does dry down which is when you can appreciate the mixture of notes. I would say this scent does not last as long on me as the others, however I would put that down to its clean/musky scent, sweeter scents just seem to stick more to my skin.

I adore this scent! It is so fresh yet still feminine with the floral notes coming through. A very delicate fragrance yet it lasts all day on me and does project. I feel like the whole fancy line does a great job with spillage and longevity, especially for the price. I get mostly bergamot with just the tiniest bit of apple coming through on the initial spray. Hyacinth is my favorite flower and one I hardly ever see used in fragrances. It comes through here in such a lovely way. Lily of the valley is a note I tend to stay away from bc its easily overdone, like gardenia, but it works here! The rose isn’t too rosey or synthetic, just right. The florals pretty much stay through the whole dry down.

When I first got this perfume I thought it was a nice, fresh perfume. I liked it, but didn't think it was all that special. I thought it would be more like just a body spray. However, as I began to wear it out and about, I began to get many compliments. Almost every time I wear this perfume now, someone comments on how good I smell, and they ask what I'm wearing. When I tell them it's a Jessica Simpson perfume, they are nearly always surprised. I have never worn a perfume that has garnered so much attention. Of course, that has changed my original opinion of it, and I have begun to appreciate it more. It does smell nice and fresh, and seems to work with my body chemistry in a very good way.

I bought this a while back, blind buy. I tried it and didn't think much of it. Thought so little of it that I put it in the bin of items to donate that I have yet to donate months later. For some reason I decided to give it a try again a few weeks back and retrieved it from the bin along with it's sister fancy love, which also didn't make my mark initially. I found I really liked it and was worth keeping along with fancy love. Today after my evening shower this was the only scent I sprayed. I'm in love with it. There's a soft cozy powdery scent I love. This will be a staple in my collection. It's so inexpensive and delightful.

I picked this up at TJ Maxx as a blind buy. It was a set that had the body lotion and the 1.7 oz parfum. I figured for $13 if I didn't like I can give it to someone for Christmas. For me it's a keeper. On my skin it's a combination of floral and musk, neither of which are overwhelming, with a slight soapy note on the dry down. It's a clean, pleasant fragrance that makes me smile and has good staying power on me even without the lotion. I can see me wearing it to work or on casual days off. Not sure it's a "signature scent" for me, but certainly in the running.

I've had this for several years. It's a real crowd pleaser. I don't think I've ever worn this without getting a compliment. It's as fresh as the day I purchased it. It's great any time of the year. I would think warm weather to be best for this but not so. This lasts and is strong enough for the coldest of winters. This 3.4 ounce bottle for 15.00 is as important in my collection as my all time favorites. I truly do not understand how anyone can not see the beauty in this pretty little gazing bottle full of daydreaming delacacies.

I love this perfume. Upon first sniff I instantly remembered the smell of a perfume I already have and its Jo Malone’s Wild Bluebell. I am so happy because I can get a fix of JM’s scent with reckless abandon through this perfume because I fancy you is priced so cheap. This scent is perfect for lounging in the house, going to grocery or even before sleeping. It smells fresh and clean. It also lasts quite a long time. The bottle looks gorgeous beside my Fancy bottle. This scent makes me so happy and it does not smell cheap at all.

I first purchased this fragrance during Christmas time in 2012, it was a small gift set with a 1 oz of eau de parfum, lotion, and shower cream. My first thought was "wow, this is a far cry from the super sweet Fancy." I liked the initial blast of clean florals and crisp apple. It was a beautiful scent in the winter time too by the way, which I feel this scent also works in hot weather. This scent is too strong but layering is probably a good idea. I recommend this to anyone who likes fresh fragrances.

My uncle purchased this for me because he liked the stars on the bottle. This one is way lighter than all the other Fancy perfumes by J Simpson. It is also unisex since it is airy and fresh. It reminds of rain in a flower field. I honestly don't see how anyone could hate this one. Another thing is you wouldn't expect this one to be as long lasting as it is. I stop smelling it myself about an hour after I spray it but others can still smell it. I get compliments throughout the day.

Second review: When I sprayed this on one wrist, and Chanel Chance on the other, no one around me could tell the difference. If the Chanel price tag doesn't interest you, but Chance does, try I Fancy You. It may work as a much cheaper dupe for you. ETA: Everyone is different, and I can only speak to my experiences. I understand the notes aren't similar, but that's how it smelled on me, and others around me agreed. And I didn't even tell them it was 2 different fragrances.

its really clean fruity scent and the color of the bottle is great. Its the sweeter version of Curious by Britney Spears The apple, bergamot and pear doesn't smell like organic tho, the small florals really help but not much. My verdict is 'I Fancy You' is a really good after bath fragrance and also good spring/summer perfume, once in fall & winter. Its pretty laid back. There's no base & heart notes.

One of if not my favorite fresh, clean scent. Coming from a sweet, sweet, sweet lover and avoider of unisex fragrances, this is the most soul smoothing fresh scent ever. It is perfectly clean and sparkling with a sharp, yet cozy, sweet, watery fruit and sweet floral. I love to spray this after the shower, before bed, and before the gym.

This is actually one of my favorite scents. One that I have actually used all of. To me this is a safe fruity frangrance that can be wore all the time. I really don't get any floarl notes like with fancy love, this is more of a sharp pear/ apple perfume that calms downs quickly to a clean beautiful scent. I enjoy this perfume a lot.

This smells very clean on me from start to finish, and reminds me of laundry detergent. I like it, but it's not one of my most special fragrances. I was very surprised to get four random compliments on this in one day, it must be my most complimented fragrance yet, which I find very surprising. I must suit smelling clean!

Awesome blind buy!!!!! Beautiful and soft, perfect Spring/Summer fragrance. It just puts a smile on my face when I smell this on my skin :). The dry down reminds me of being in a flowery meadow filled with beautiful wild flowers on a sunny late morning. Just right for the $6 price at TJ Maxx!

This is a nice clean smell. Reminiscent of fresh laundry or stepping out of a shower. To me, I somehow get a soft rose fragrance on my skin when I wear it. It’s great for casual days but it’s not terribly interesting. Doesn’t last long either, it’s cheap enough to reapply tho.

I love this perfume and always want to own a bottle of it. I’ve worn it off and on for the past 10+ years. It is a light fresh-floral-fruity, clean smell. This is one I can get away with wearing in the office, good for every day wear. I always get compliments when I wear it.

Okay, let’s be real. The initial spray? Pure alcohol blast. 💀 But give it 60 seconds to dry down... and it turns into the prettiest, lightest crisp apple scent. 🍏✨ It’s completely different from the original heavy Fancy—this one is just pure, airy, clean-shower vibes!

This stuff smells so good! I definitely smell red delicious apples and juicy pears. It is sweet and pretty. And long-lasting too! Some others made a light blue reference? Absolutely not, in my opinion. Light blue smells like Lemon Pledge on me. Ack! This is beautiful.

If you love Miss Dior Eau Fraiche and Lanvin Éclat d'Arpege, I Fancy You is the TOP choice. It smells like the best of both. But it's so much cheaper! I totally love this perfume. It smells expensive, classy, clean, fresh and elegant. LOVE IT!!!!

To me, this is daisy eau so fresh on steroids. It has greater silage and projection than daisy. A bit rough around the ages. This isn't the usual type of fragrance that I wear but I wear it often and I an glad that I bought it.

I just got this and I really like it. I was expecting it to be water like after reading the reviews but it was a wonderful smell. It reminds me of a little bit softer version of Britney Spears Curious.

Fresh, floral and fruity. Pear, apple and musk are very present. Very nice and feminine, and soothing. Another beautiful Jessica Simpson's fragrance. Good longevity.

This smells exactly the way I imagined it would from the bottle design. No surprises here and I appreciate that. So often I find that packaging can be deceptive and I’m tired of all the masquerading that goes on with some of the more overhyped fragrances. IFU isn’t pretending to be anything it’s not. What’s here is simply a watery floral combined with a fruity clean element. It’s very similar to the scents that Bath & Body Works churns out annually. It actually pairs pretty perfectly with Sea Island Cotton. Throw in some Uggs and a PINK tee to complete the vibe that this is very much giving. And you know what, that’s okay. You need a few 2011 throwbacks to round out a respectable wardrobe, whether it be clothing or fragrances. It’s good enough, it’s smart enough and doggone it, people should like this a lot more!!! Longevity sucks but that’s to be expected, right? I got a big bottle from Burlington for like $15 so I wasn’t under some delusion that I was purchasing a well-crafted, quality fragrance. Thankfully, I’m not really picking up on the Windex smell that a lot reviews have mentioned. Windex does smell fresh and it is blue. I guess they do have that much in common. I think subliminally, the bottle implants the suggestion of Windex more than the actual scent itself. IFU might not be your cup of tea but it’s not terrible. Like every fragrance, it really comes down to body chemistry. Not to be redundant but this isn’t exactly high-end smelling. Although inadvertently, it does resemble higher-end compositions. For what it is though, it’s really decent. Trust and believe that I have had way more expensively disastrous failures. The bottle alone makes this a win for me. It’s aesthetically pleasing and downright super-duper cute. I find that I reach for this more often than I do with her peachy, plastic-y champagne sister, Fancy Love. That’s not to say that I don’t enjoy Fancy Love on occasion. I do. I think overall that IFU is more of a crowd pleaser and more versatile. It’s a little slice of pizza pie perfumery. Potentially, I see how IFU could be dubbed as generic or boring. The perfume resembles Jessica herself in that aspect, sheerly beautiful but not much depth. IFU fully embodies her adorable Newlywed phase. If you have realistic expectations and want something minimal, you’d probably enjoy this. Color me basic👚But like, guys!!! I like really LIKE this. Yep, I Fancy You. It’s mutual, babes💗

So my boyfriend just surprised me with this perfume last night! He got it for me as a gift from a trip he recently went on! I always see this one in the store, but for some reason I am very reluctant to buy anything from Jessica Simpson. It's not her that I personally do not like, I think she is pretty and sings well! I once smelled another one of her perfumes called "Fancy Nights" and I absolutely hated it. It was so strong and not for me. So that literally scared me from trying another one of her scents. Well, I was surprised when my boyfriend picked this one up for me, because he knew of my bad experience with Fancy Nights. I thought he was joking when he told me what he got me. BUT he did actually pick it up. Before he gave me this gift, I was in my local mall at a Perfumania store, and I saw a sale on body lotions. I was there to pick up the "Tease" by Paris Hilton lotion, but I had to get another one for the sale price. I Fancy You by Jessica Simpson was there, so I figured I would give the lotion a try before I get the perfume! I liked the lotion! It was light and creamy and almost sweet smelling! A glimmer of hope came over me that I would hopefully like the perfume! When he gave me the perfume I must say, I was pleasantly surprised! I Fancy you is a very clean smelling scent! It almost reminds me of a cross between 3 different perfumes: Daisy by Marc Jacobs, Curious by Britney Spears and Glow by Jennifer Lopez (JLO). I actually liked it! I couldn't believe it! In my perfume collection I have some particularly heavy scents, and I love them, but sometimes I am in the mood to wear light fresh scents! This is definitely one that I will wear in the future! I have some light scents such as "Christina Aguilera" by Christina Aguilera, which I love, but it honestly doesn't last that long! I am wearing this one, and I can tell it will last a while! Especially while I have the lotion to layer with the perfume! I would recommend this one to anyone who is looking for a light fresh scent for school or work, or just looking for a light scent for everyday use! I can definitely see why some won't like it, but if you are like me, you will find this light, pretty & pleasant! Finally a Jessica Simpson scent that I like! Score! :) EDIT: I also love the box! It is a pretty advertisement! and there is a nice poem on the inside cover! :)

A solid pleasing, gentle, feminine offering from Jessica Simpson. I bought this for two (lame) reasons: 1.) Because I adore "Fancy". 2.) That bottle, man. When I received the scent - honestly - I was pleasantly surprised, Perfumites! This is a lovely, fresh, airy, gently-sweet, uninvasive floral, clean, musky scent. I get pear mostly in the opening. A very watery, fresh pear. It's not super-juicy or sticky. If a pear is 84% water, this is 90-95% of that good ol' H2O! There is definitely a little bergamot with that clean, crisp, slightly-zest citrus scent. Red apple is gentle - a note almost cloned from "Peony & Blush Suede" by Jo Malone. Beautiful. The middle notes I find much harder to distinguish. There's hyacinth which is a lovely ethereal smell. Heavy hyacinth is nobody's friend, so it's great the perfumiers managed to restrain themselves. LOTV is incredibly subtle - I wouldn't pick it as the first note I smell. Although, this is a tuberose I can get on board with! Thank GOD - not an overpowering mess that screeches and claws its way into your brain! The base notes of musk and sandalwood are cozy. The musk is gorgeous! It does make itself known without becoming obnoxious, and the sandalwood lends a soft, creamy depth. Thr freshness has been absolutely necessary for summer. Despite all the sweet fruit notes and typically-heavy florals you'd be forgiven for thinking this is an awful choice for summer, but it's truly gentle, airy, clean, and fresh. Due to the airy, clean freshness, this has become a scent I wear on my night-clothes for bed. Unlike some other reviews, I can definitely smell this on me. It has a fairly decent longevity - I can smell this again the next morning. True, it lasts much longer on clothes than on skin, but it does last as a girly pleasant skin scent. Price-wise? Worth it. Scent-wise? Try it. Repurchase-wise? Maybe not because it's not super unique or intoxicating, but I'm not sorry I have it and IMMA USE IT. *** Kitty rating: 7/10.

I have Fancy & Fancy Love so I figured I couldn't go wrong with I Fancy You. At first, I was mistaken. I tried it and right out of the bottle, since it wasn't what I was expecting, I didn't like it. I gave it one try, reboxed it and put it in my "gifting to friends" pile. Then the other night my son was going through a pile of things and found this box. He asked why mommy doesn't wear this one, since he knows I'm a huge perfumista, and I thanked him for finding it since I'd forgotten about it and it was time for me to give it another try! I've recently implemented a "three strikes, you're out" policy where I give up after three efforts, sometimes more. I really work a fragrance hard before I just toss it or give it away. So out came the I Fancy You once again and I was QUITE pleased to see that my tastes have changed and I fell instantly in love! The mild spiciness along with the beautiful exotic-smelling flowers charmed me and I spritzed my pillow and sheets before going to bed. I was still catching whiffs of it this morning as I woke up so looks like it lasts a nice long time on clothes. I chose this as my fragrance for today and I've been very happy with my choice, sniffing my arm all day and enjoying the spices mixed in perfectly with the fruity florals. This is a beautiful scent but I really wish she'd quit releasing perfumes that smell NOTHING like Fancy yet keep calling them Fancy. She could come up with many other more fitting names as I think this bears zero resemblance to the original.

I am a woman who doesn't care whose name is on a bottle of perfume when deciding whether or not to purchase it. Instead of being a fan of Jessica's, I had the pleasure of reading many of your eloquent reviews here, and based on those decided to give this perfume a try. (I found it for a LOW price online, too!) I spritzed some on today and I have to admit I liked it a LOT more than I expected to. I'm not usually a big fan of sweet or overly fruity fragrances, so I didn't know what to expect from this. I was so pleased when I didn't pick up much sweetness at all, not from the first spray and lasting until the scent was gone from my skin. My nose didn't notice or identify either the apple or the pear but instead really honed in on the delicious soft florals right away. The floral notes stayed with me as the base notes warmed up...yummy! I really like this one! My only bit of disappointment is how quickly the scent disappeared. I got such low sillage from this one (I practically had to lift my wrist to my nose to smell much of anything), and I would say the smell was entirely gone between the 2-3 hour mark. I think I will use this on warmer days for short outings when a nice fragrance would be nice but nothing more heavy is appropriate. As much as I love the scent overall, I'm not sure if I'll rebuy just because of the disappointing longevity. I would encourage anyone who enjoys light florals with delicious warm notes to give this one a try.

I bought a teeny tiny sample bottle of this (.25 - which is adorable by the way, especially if you want to try a fragrance out for the first time). I'm wearing it today for the first time, and it's not bad. This is a fresh/floral kind of scent, which isn't usually my thing. Because of that, this perfume is a like for me, not a love. However, if you are into very fresh and light floral perfumes this may be for you. I will give it credit, it's not overly floral to the point of making me dislike it (like Britney's Cosmic Radiance which was wayyyy too floral for me). Instead this is light and clean, pretty inoffensive. It's soft, so if you want just a little something on for the day this might be a good choice. I can see a young girl experiencing it, but I can also definitely see older women wearing it as well, especially to work if you want a little something on, but don't want a strong or sweet perfume for work. It's pretty diverse as far as audience goes. I happen to be a gourmand lover, so this isn't really up my ally, but I still think it's lovely if you're into this type of scent. I probably won't buy a full bottle of it when I finish my tiny one, but glad I got to experience it.

hm, completely confounded by this one. Walked through a drug store and sprayed this on a random whim. The cloud burst forth with a chalky neutral powder. Then on the skin it settled with the most awful artificial fruit; I could have sworn it was passionfruit or pomegranate or some sickly artificial interpretation thereof. I shrugged it off as "when are you going to learn not to spray random drug store scents?!?!?" But then as I milled about doing my shopping that day, the disgusting fruit faded even close to the skin, and the projection and cloud were intensifying chalky powder. I found myself actually enjoying it! Subtle, classy even. What is going on? How does this awful fruit skin scent project into this soft lovely chalk powder? What the heck..... I don't get any floral, certainly not lily of the valley which I have developed an aversion to through the years. My nose picks up on lily of the valley toxicity for whatever reason.... Really really mixed up about this one. Just going to put on a "like" here, and test again one day when I'm clean and fresh and can detox my nose with some coffee.

11/24/18 I fell in love with this based purely on how the bottle looks! Thankfully, I found it for a frugal price over at eBay since I have zero experience with JS fragrances. As the bottle appears, it's elegant, feminine... Wearing it brings me back to my young teen years. Dare I say back to Love's Baby Soft?! But only enough to give but a deep memory of Love's. Not enough to say, "Aha! It's exactly the same!" No, not at all. Just a gentle glance to those innocent, carefree days of those girlhood years. Sweet and beautiful. I also think of Jo Malone's Bluebell too when I smell it. Again - not enough to say, "It's a dupe!" Just so everyone is clear - no one can dupe Jo Malone frags. But I Fancy You gives a gentle, respecting nod towards fragrantista Malone. So if you like those fragrances, you'll enjoy I Fancy You. How pretty it looks on my all white, shabby-chic vanity, with the sun coming through an open window with the sheer white curtains gently swaying in the breeze. That's what this perfume is all about. Jessica Simpson I Fancy You - This would be great for spring summer daytime as it smells clean and fresh with a slight spice. It smells bright, relaxing and energizing. Def on the femme side. A classic fresh white floral, which is starting to grow on me as I age. It smells like something from the Tocca line. A muted Britney Spears Curious. DKNY Be Delicious faint apple note. I don't think I detected any other fruit notes. It's a nice scent, but I feel like it could be easily duped. It would make a nice candle or body wash. I wouldn't buy the scent as perfume, but I would consider keeping it of gifted and was a small bottle.The bottle colour matches the scent well. I'm surprised more ppl don't love this scent. 30-40plus agreed women. Sits close to skin. Fair price at $25-45 for 100ml. I personally wouldn't pay more that $20 for it. I still prefer the original Fancy and it doesn't seem to fit into the flanker line IMO. It lasts a decent amount of time at 6 hours

I received this lovely scent from my daughter for Mother's Day. Jessica Simpson's Fancy scents have the strangest effects on me. In every case, with each scent, my first reaction is usually "???" And then, after a couple of wearings and some settling, I end up falling in love. With I Fancy You, my first reaction was "blast of hairspray circa 1980." But then I remembered to just wait and see - and naturally, Jessica got to me again. I can see myself reaching for this all summer long. It's a clean and crisp, like wildflowers in a breeze. The sillage is just so darn refreshing - like someone fresh out of a cool shower wearing sun-kissed clothing. And a couple of sprays last for hours. Keep up the excellent work, Jessica! Isn't it about time she comes out with a new Fancy flanker?

Rollercoaster of a perfume. Blind bought it because I love a pear-note and I've liked other Fancy flankers like Fancy Love. Initial scent reminds me of hairspray and Britney Spears' headache inducing perfume Curious. Suffice to say I felt some regret sink in. And then it developed into a clean scent, like you just stepped out of the shower. I pick up a watery, sweet, floral scent but with an energetic kick. That's an interesting twist that I appreciate. Would I buy it again? No. Frankly, I don't get the pear note as much as I hoped. And it isn't a groundbreaking scent. Will I wear it until the bottle is empty? Yes. It's a pleasant refresher in the afternoon on a hot summer's day. If you enjoyed Fancy or Fancy Love, this might be too squeaky clean and not sweet enough.

I got the 30 ml bottle for $10, which is a lovely price for this. I would describe I Fancy You as a clean, fresh, inoffensive scent. Basically, it smells like someone poured some D&G Light Blue and Ralph Lauren (the blue one) together, and then added a tiny bit of Versace Crystal Noir's base, except without the coconuts or the very noticeable gardenia. Seriously, I smell something very reminiscent of all these three perfumes in this one. Still, I like I Fancy You; especially since I don't think I'll ever buy Light Blue or Ralph again (too many people wear those in my country). This is a nice (and cheap) alternative for days when it's warm and I just want to smell clean and fresh. Also, I think this bottle looks nice and not cheap as, say, Fancy Love. 3.5/5

Me and Jessica's perfumes have its ups and downs. I have loved some and I have hated some. I knew when I stepped into Macy's the summer of 2011 and smelled this perfume for the first time, I was going to get it. 3 years later, I purchased a 3.4 ounce bottle. I feel like I Fancy You is at its prime during the hot spring months and summer days. It's light enough to not feel heavy on a warm day, but fresh enough to wear as an every day perfume as well. I wouldn't say that this is anything special. It doesn't really last, on me at least, for more than 3 hours or so, but it's light enough that I don't feel bad reapplying if I feel like it. I think this is more of a every day perfume. I wouldn't really want to wear this out to someplace nice or to the club.

Maybe to an untrained nose this might smell like light blue but this borders more one the floral side . Light blue smells more of lemon and Granny Smith tart . I fancy you is definitely fresh but it’s not fruity . That said , I honesty haven’t smelt anything like this scent and I’ve worked in fragrances for 12 years . This one is definitely unique and most certainly doesn’t smell like a “ light blue “ rip off . This is a soapy floral scent and it’s very underrated and is outshined by the masterpiece fancy love which is still popular today . We got fancy love sets in at Macy’s for Christmas and the my sold quick . You don’t see this one in stores much anymore but if you find it I would pick it up it’s not offensive and is discreet and is pleasant

I fancy you is a fun, fresh, crisp lily of the valley that is perfect for a warm spring or hot summer day & could be worn by any girl or woman for any occasion. But for me, the best part is the dry down, which turns into a completely different scent. 8-10 hours, after I can no longer detect the original scent, and even the next morning, I fancy you becomes a beautiful fresh (not soapy) musk skin scent that wafts up to greet me. I love this little shape shifter! I have all four of Jessica Simpson's Fancy line of perfumes and all of them have a place in my seasonal rotation, & work beautifully with my moods & body chemistry. I Fancy you is easily found at all the discount stores for a steal and the bottle is as pretty as the juice!

Well I love Jessica Simpson's clear Fancy bottles! I enjoy her unique affordable fragrances! This fragrance is odd, but odd can be unique and beautiful in itself and that's what I find with this fragrance. I understand how the opening of this fragrance can be a bit off putting for sure. I smell plastic doll head at the top, but it fades almost immediately. After that dries down I smell a beautiful clean, juicy apple, floral fragrance. Not a lot of sillage for me, stays a quiet skin scent but I can smell it for several hours. I find myself reaching for this scent often and even though it's got that plastic opening it doesn't deter me from enjoying it. Year round, any occasion fragrance.

I Fancy You is a soft, juicy & slightly sweet floral. It starts quite sharp but settles to a lovely fruity floral. Juicy pear, pretty soapy florals & the apple gives it a little bit of sweetness. You know whenever you hang your freshly washed clothes out on the line in Spring and the breeze makes you catch that lovely, clean smell? That's what I Fancy You smells like. It is close to the skin and lasts around 4 hours. Overall, a soft, very feminine floral that is suitable for all ages. A lovely fragrance that could be worn relaxing around the house, walking along the beach or whenever the weather is hot. Jessica Simpson has a wonderful perfume range. Highly recommended!
