Jessica Simpson (Signature)

This is a perfect day to explore my JS signature perfume - it's like giving birth to a baby - you forget all the pain when you get this beautiful baby in your hands!!! I had some stressy days, I have a lot of haters removing my ballons, really? I'm not here for the ballons, but yesterday I had to fight twenty-and-more flyes coming out of the kitchen ventilator, than I felled down a chair when closing a window, and, I was stuck by a wasp early this morning.... Phew, luckily I'm not allergic, that's a victory for me, I think my name really should be "Murphy" - I'm feeling with people who faced "Ida" - and hope and pray you are okey - but: Now I'm sitting down and sniffing and sniffing this beautiful perfume, it can make me forget all the troubles in my life, and, that's why I love perfumes so very much. This JS signature remainds me of the smell of Fazers liquorice filled chocolate, witch I absolutely looove, my fav is the marzipan, cherry, and, all the rest of them ;)) Points: 12/10 !!

The combination of tart fruits/citrus/orange (or tangerine as listed in the notes) and white chocolate is unique. For now it just misses being a love due to the combination of how weak the sillage/longevity of this and it not being quite as punchy as I'd like. It's missing something, but it's a very minor something. A minor tweak and it would be a definite love for me. For the meantime I do want a large bottle of this, probably a 3.4 oz since it requires like 10 sprays and even with that it probably is still a perfume you have to stick your nose right up to to be able to smell, and which must be repeated around every 2 hours at least if not every hour. It's between a strong like and love.

Took a sniff and spray of this at Macy's and just breath taking. She really out did herself with this Bottle design AND campaign. She's so gorgeous and the scent is just so soft and beautiful. I don't see it lasting on the body long, or holding up outside. This is DEFF a close table dinner scent, or working in a office or sales floor scent. The bottle really is stunning though, and the packaging everything is just top notch. The scent while beautiful is a bit "typical" but something just WORKS and that beautiful bottle alone is worth the purchase. I plan to purchase if I can steal a great deal on it, or wait a while till it's cheaper...but this easily rates it'self as a 4 of 5 fragrance.

i love Jessica Simpson’s perfumes. after getting fancy i had to get her signature perfume and i don’t regret it. i have the body mist and it lasts hours with a good amount of sprays. it starts out fruity and creamy. i get apricot, nectarine, some florals and some creaminess. it then gets even more creamy with white chocolate, tonka bean, and some florals. it smells mature but also really sweet and vanilla-y. i love it so much. nothing will top fancy though. it’s so yummy and unique and Jessica Simpson is so creative with her perfumes. this is perfect for the spring and winter!

This a really light, soft, faintly sweet and enchanting scent. It isn't soapy or tangy like some citrus scents, isn't cloyingly sweet, and is overall just a very plainly feminine perfume. It's very intimate on the skin, plus the longevity is on the lower side of moderate (4 hours if I'm lucky, but usually less) so it's good that it's cheap. I do absolutely adore how it smells though, so despite the poor performance, I'd buy it again.

So dreamy, smells enchantingly sweet. Creamy white chocolate, tonka bean on top of beautiful floral's mixed with the most seductive citruses... clementine, nectarine, apricot. Peaches & Cream... OH MY!! When I smell this I'm instantly transported to heaven. Best suited for cold seasons, winter, autumn, maybe spring. I'll be in LOVE with this beauty forever!! I really hope this one doesn't become discontinued.

Just found a brand new 3.4 oz bottle at Ross, so if you're looking to score this perfume again, check out a Ross. My original bottle is about 10 years old ...so I bought it real quick! It was only $16.99 and now I'll have a backup of one of my favorites! 🤠 Edit: Macy's backstage had a few bottles. I think since Jessica got her company back, they started reproducing this. 😍

My first and favorite Jessica Simpson fragrance. It smells SO good. I smell the white chocolate and vanilla with a burst of fresh fruit. Its delicious!! I have gotten more compliments on this perfume than anything I have ever worn. It doesn't last long on skin, but lasts forever on clothes. Very safe blind buy. Edit. It lasted a good 5 hours on my skin!

This is my go-to spring scent. The base notes, especially the white chocolate, are surprisingly present, and the citrus and flowers blend well to give a soft and apparent, but not overwhelming scent. The notes don't tend to outshine each other, but they also aren't an amalgamation that you can't pick notes out of. Overall I love it!

I just received it, sprayed my arm, and I can’t stop sniffing myself. This is a very pretty everyday scent. Lovely, sweet, fruity floral, and definitely an easy reach. Happy I stumbled upon a bottle as its becoming difficult to find. Is it groundbreaking....no, but not every scent has to be.

Fantasy by Britney spears is more fruity in the opening while this one is more put together more creamy or well blended i would say like a less fruity version of the fantasy one, maybe cause of the tonka bean. im trying this in october and i think its awesome and perfect for the season

I. Love. This. Scent. It’s sweet but not too much and the white chocolate and driftwood really come through for me. It stays pretty close to the skin and I would consider it inoffensive, easy enough for anyone now ‘allowed’ to wear fragrance to work.

This has been my signature scent for a while now. Love it from the first spray to the dry down. Goes amazingly well with my skin chemistry. I have 100ml back up it’s that good, plus this is getting harder to find. One of my best celebrity perfumes.

I'm surprised that this fragrance is so underrated honestly. This is a beautiful scent. It is blended so well. I think this is a great signature fragrance. Hidden gem for sure

Oona Noir , it reminds me of Exclamation from the early 90s.

A review buried way down when this first came out starts out with "Good, but too weak." And I couldn't agree more. This perfume smells not 100% identical...but I'd say 90% identical to Katy Perry's "Meow." Only differences are really in the ratios of the notes. I'd say that this one has a stickier, amped up vanilla accord whereas Katy Perry's Meow is still very sweet but fruitier. And as sad as I am to report...Katy Perry's perfume performs much better than this one. Also to note...this one IS indeed similar to her scent "Ten," which I also have the same problem with...sweet, beautiful scent with no strength. All in all...it's pretty much all been said. A pretty, balsamic perfume with three main accords...vanilla, balsamic, and fruity. I will say one thing which is the same exact case with her "Ten" perfume...it DOES help spraying this on your clothes as it does last much longer on fabric than on the skin. I found the same with Ten. NEITHER one is gonna be a projection beast...but both DO last 24 hours or so on clothing I spray this on my arms, neck, AND all over the front of my shirt. Longevity - 2-3 hours on the skin. About 24 hours on clothing. Projection - You're only gonna get about 1 hour of projection (sadly) if you ONLY spray this on the skin. If you spray it on your clothing (and I do mean generously)...you'll get 3-6 hours of projection depending on the amount used on your shirt. The scent itself is beautiful but given performance I'm gonna rate this one with a 7/10. Would've given it an 8.5 if it were more concentrated like her first perfume. Final thought :: The bottle is BEAUTIFUL. But I think I'm gonna stick with "Fancy" for now and will only wear this for times that call for a "barely there" perfume scenario. If you like sweet perfumes such as this but find it too weak...I HIGHLY recommend that you buy Fancy and give it a try. The BODY MIST of Fancy...is stronger than this Eau De Parfum...as sad as that is to say. Nevertheless...a very pretty scent and maybe perfect for those who are sensitive to stronger perfumes.

I have ten and I like it a lot so when I saw a tester bottle of JS signature,didn't wait to spray it on my hand. Mmmm...I like this one as much as ten,maybe even more.signature and ten are sister or cousin perfumes.ten is more fruity;bright and sparkly clementine and nectarine shine in it more than anything,while signature emphasizes more on sweet notes and creamy and clean florals.I can really detect white chocolate and vanilla in it.it's sweet,delicious and smooth.pretty and feminine.I think it's sweetness is a bit more than ten but this doesn't make it the younger sister.I can't talk about single notes and details.I need at least another test for that,for now I can only say that it's nice,easy to wear year round and another perfume with Jessica Simpson's name on it which I like. I sprayed it once on back of my hand at 7:30 pm.when I reached home and smelled my hand,it was 11 pm and I couldn't find slightest traces of it.while I had tested rihanna crush on my other hand at the same time and I could smell a faint skin scent when I reached home.so JS signature's longevity is almost weak but I don't care about longevity when I really like a scent.the reason that I didn't buy it was that it was priced 75$! Can you believe that?? It was 3.4 oz but still,it's very very expensive!and unfortunately that was the only perfume shop that I know that has this perfume.I would definitely buy it if it was below 30$ but I can't justify paying this ridiculous price even though I really like this soft,sweet and feminine scent.

Ok, to cut a long review short, this is extremely identical to the Jessica Simpson ten perfume. The differences are very minimal. It just depends what you want from a Fragrance. This Fragrances are youthful but not completely juvenile as well. These two Fragrances are mass appealing, but they are beautifully done. They are not vintage or dated, or screechy in anyway. I could honestly imagine this is what an angel would smell like . These are both, light , airy, and sweet. Now one question I couldn't seem to get answcered is,just how identical is this to the Jessica Simpson ten Fragrance? If you want a milker, more fruity Fragrance, then I suggest you pick ten. But if you want something more gourmand, and a tad more sandalwood? Then pick the original signature Fragrance by Jessica Simpson. Those notes are the only major differences. They are identical enough that you'll have a good idea of what the other Fragrance is like, but in my opinion, they are still different enough to purchase separately. As for how well they wore, they are pretty similar. The only difference I seemed to notice is that the original Fragrance projected better than ten does. You'll get at least 3/4 hours from these before you may need to reapply. Also, these are DEFINITELY on the lighter side, so you can spray away to your hearts content!

Jessica simpson signature is a soft creamy vanilla treat. I tried this at dillards today and let me start off by the bottle, which I think for one is stunning! it looks very classy and elegant. The scent reminds me of a tame version of viva la juicy minus that heavy cloying note in it, I like viva la juicy but I do find it to be a little much and this scent works out perfectly. I really detected the vanilla and white chocolate notes right off and it got sweeter as the day progressed. I found that it wasn't very loud and it would be great for an office setting and such, it does smell grown up sweet and not sickly sweet over the top sweet. It reminds me of a softer version of fancy as well this would be fancy light. It had good staying power on my skin and I just tried one spray at the store and wore it home to get a feel and vibe from it and it did not let me down. I am wanting to add this to my collection as well, it just may be my favorite from her yet. Jessica has never let me down all with the exception of fancy nights, it wasn't a bad scent just wasn't for me. it is great to know jessica takes pride in her brand and has something for everybody =) keep up the good work!

This is very pleasant! This fragrance is quite similar to Fancy, but different enough to stand on its on. In my opinion, Jessica Simpson is a great fragrance house. Her fragrances make you feel young, lively, and spirited. I recommend them for any age. The citrus, white chocolate, and vanilla notes really shine through here--yet, it does not smell like an edible gourmand. It is powdery and pleasant; appropriate for most day time activities. I wore this on Saturday to take care of some business with family. I layered it with Bath & Body Works Poppy. Both fragrances complemented each other very well--the luxuriousness and freshness of Poppy added a rich complexity to Signature. My daughter asked me what I was wearing. She thought I smelled awesome! Longevity and sillage were both great with Jessica Simpson's Signature. In my opinion, this fragrance is a safe blind buy for all ages.

This smells clean , pretty & soft . It’s not as unique as Fancy or Fancy Love . What it reminds me of is right after a shower or bath : the combination of the lingering scent of the soap or body wash used & then the lotion scent on still damp warm skin. I really like the prailine note , it goes so well with the bit of citrus & fruitiness - it really is so pretty . This is not on par as Fancy which I think is a masterpiece , but not every perfume is gonna be absolutely unique - even the high end stuff can smell rather generic - snobs be damned , it’s true . Anyways , this is very Jessica , which is great being that I think she puts real thought in her perfumes - it’s warm , sweet & likeable . I do see that it does not last like Fancy or Fancy Love at all though , & that’s the major flaw with it , within a couple hours it’s poofed away into a faint skin scent that’s barely there .

Just got this at Ulta. They don't have a tester, so I had to buy it sight-unsmelled, but they have a generous return policy. I don't think I'll be taking advantage of it, though. While it isn't what I was hoping for, it's quite pretty. Unfortunately I don't smell much or any vanilla or chocolate, I think they're just warming things up in the background, but it is a really beautiful warm floral. There's an armful of beautiful tiger lily in it Maybe the sweeter notes will emerge with time. Love Jessica and her style, but I generally don't like her perfumes, even though they're gourmand, Fancy and all that has this cheapy/teenage/fruity aura about it, and this does NOT, it's a thousand times more sophisticated than anything she's put out before. It's a safe bet for fruity floral lovers, who enjoy a warmed up floral base.

We still have a lot of people coming into Dillard’s looking for this fragrance. It really is a great perfume, the smell is addicting and if you love vanilla this is for you. Some vanilla scents come off as artificial smelling but signature is very nicely blended. I spray at least six sprays, two on my neck one on my chest two on my back of my neck and one on my shirt and I can smell it all day. Sure it’s not powerful but I like that. I wish she would do more scents she hasn’t released one in years. Really parlux give us a higher end Jessica scent we would sell it well at Dillard’s since we get lots of request for her fragrances. I got a great deal on perfumania since it’s the best place to get it since they bought out parlux and I trust to get fresh product from them

Tried this at Macy's yesterday. I sprayed my inner arm, and this is a very light fragrance. Soft, warm fruity floral with a fresh and clean feel to it. I agree with the Viva La Juicy comparison only this one is quieter. It's very pretty and could be worn anywhere, but honestly not original at all. It could be a Victoria's Secret spray, just done with better ingredients. It did last very long and the bottom notes smelled warm & praline-ish, but I had to sniff super close to find it. Very lovely, just lost in a sea of similarity. I'd like to try it again with more sprays. Try 2: Sprayed about 4x. Sweet, slightly powdery, creamy, fruity floral candy. Like Fancy all grown up and refined. (Not too grown up, though!)

I am glad I got this one. It smells enchantingly sweet. A balanced sweet. More of a skin scent. The lasting power is weak-moderate. I don't mind because it was inexpensive. I find it a little bit similar to Fantasy by Britney Spears. I believe because of the white chocolate as a prominent note with a couple of notes in common. It also reminded me of Burberry. Must be the peachy notes, the vanilla, sandalwood and jasmine. It's such a sparkling scent perfect for the day and totally fine for the night. Versatile, feminine, classy yet bubbly. This is not cupcake sweet. It's more of a glazed fruit kind of sweet.

Okay, I bought this mostly because I loved the bottle. I knew with the scent notes, I was unlikely to hate it. Sure enough, I love this scent. It's light, but I was expecting that due to all the reviews. Some days, I just don't want my perfume to shout, and this is a great one for those days. I like how someone below said that even though she doesn't notice it on her after a while that she still gets compliments so I'm hoping that's the case when I wear it too! I tend to like a very noticeable perfume, but on some days I just want to smell pleasant, and this is that type of scent. I like it a lot.

This is ALL about the fruit. It's ripe and juicy with lots of vanilla and some underlying florals. It's a lot like other celeb scents out there. I don't get white chocolate at all other than the fact this is sweet. It is not gourmand. It is a fruity floral vanilla. I wish the juicy fruits had stayed with it because that made it special even thought I don't like fruity frags much. It faded down to a cheap vanilla. Nothing rich, boozy, gourmand or deep. No patch. No depth. It is what it is. But, that cap is what won me over.

Tangy fruits followed by a creamy softly sweetness, with a heart of warm white floral. This scent is young, sophisticated and sweet. Whereas Fancy has a gourmand candied sweetness, Signature has a warm fruity floral cream sweetness although I do smell some Fancy DNA in this. The scent opens with sour clementine softened by a sweet nectarine. Then at the heart is Creamy jasmine and orange blossoms. The white chocolate note is ever present and grows stronger approaching dry down. I can imagine this scent on 20-30 year olds.

I was looking for a soft creamy floral and boy did I got it! I smelled this before as a mist and thought it was very pretty but I'm a sucker for perfume bottles so I had to get the perfume. Its not the same. On me this is straight white chocolate with a teensy, tiny bit of white florals peeking but not coming through. Its very creamy, very sweet. No acidity to balance it out. Now I'm thinking I should have just gone with the mist or perhaps it is just my body chemistry.

Maybe my nose is tricking me, but when I received my bottle and first sprayed it, I was so confuse I knew I reconized that scent and I litterally went trough all my fragrances to finally find what perfume that I own that this is litterally a dupe of [in the opening at least]. -> Born in Roma Dry down is soft, sweet, creamy. Reminds me a suntan lotion I used long time ago. To my opinion, its a beautiful underestimate scent.

Reminiscent of an Amusement Park near the beach :)I get very slight soft wafts of the sweet treats they sell. A skin scent with weak sillage but still nice to wear when I want a barely there perfume .And still I can smell my wrist for a smile ! The longevity is far better then the sillage. Its so inexpensive its worth trying and would make a good gift, it surely won't offend anyone .

All I can really decipher is a well blended fruity floral with a creaminess too it. Once the fruitiness dissipates it's a very white floral which I'm not big on. It smells pretty but unfortunately on my skin it turned that unnatural, sour, stale smell. And another blind buy that didn't work out. Back to the store she goes :(

Cute, but just SO weak. Pretty, whimsical peachy white chocolate and vanilla fragrance. Very similar to Fancy Girl, but unfortunately lacks the sillage and longevity of that one and doesn't hold a candle to Fancy. I keep it at work as a body spray, but wont be repurchasing.

Smells like a softer knock off of Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy, when compared to spawns Rrr! by Carmen Electra, and Dyamante by Daddy Yanky. Smokey caramel is the highlighted note. Might be overwhelming in a hot setting. I wouldn't wear this scent to work.

a lot of people are saying this doesnt last but every time I wear it altho I can't smell it on me people around me can and they always say it smells AMAZING ! I can smell it faintly I love it because it isn't too bold or harsh it is soft and lovelyy

Found at the Macy’s backstage section for 29 dollars for the giftset. Was excited. I love this perfume. I recently started using it again because I couldn’t find it in store . Light, creamy sweet and very delicious. Always in my collection

It’s a little bit disappointing. First spray gives delicate floral with buttery white chocolate and fruitiness. And then it’s citrus smell with a bit of floral, very creamy. It’s ok, but I’m not in love, could be stronger.

This was a blind buy. On first spray it smelt strikingly familiar. A combination of Bath and body works Cashmere Glow and Madagascar Vanilla.

like this one better than her Signature 10, this one is sweet floral the other fruity floral. I prefur this one to her 10

My favorite all time celebrity fragrance to date. Nice everyday signature scent. Soft, calming, mellow and sexy.

This smells the same to me as Fancy upon first spray, and settles into viva la juicy

Smells like a lighter Britney Spears fantasy

On me, Jessica Simpson Signature is all about the white chocolate, vanilla, and Tonka beans. I love it! I can't stop smelling my wrists where I sprayed it. It smells so soft and creamy and delicious. The bottle reminds me of the Swan Lake ballet, and I feel like this perfume would fit perfectly for Odette (the white swan): innocent, sweet, romantic. I think this perfume would be great for a date night. It's not in-your-face sexy, but I think it's so beautiful and warm that it would make a great impression on people. I can't see how anyone would be put off by it. I, for one, am absolutely charmed. If you love sweet, soft vanilla perfumes and you find strong artificial fruit notes too sickly sweet, then this would be a great scent to consider: I find the hint of citrus at the opening to be subtle and pleasant, and it quickly goes away. I LOVE this perfume!

Signature is a mild mix of vanilla, creamy woods, apricot, watery citrus-like zing and a hint of chocolate on me; I can’t pick up on the floral notes individually, but the light & powdery scent notes do bring the listed white florals to mind. The fragrance is linear and goes close to the skin quickly, so I can't go into deeper detail about Signature - it's nice and easy-to-wear, but after 2 to 3 on skin hours it disappears. Signature is a simple but lovely scent, but the sillage & longevity is very disappointing; I wouldn't buy it again because of this. If the staying power was better I would consider repurchasing it, but as it is I can buy similar scents which have much better longevity.

A beautiful, cozy and intimate scent. I love the creamy white chocolate and vanilla base mingling gently with white flowers. There is a little fruit but mostly this is a perfume for lovers of vanilla. This fragrance is quite angelic and comforting. However, my beef is that it’s just too weak for my tastes and expectations of how a EDP should perform. I admit I am disappointed as I can’t snell it beyond half an hour. Saying that, I recognise that my general tastes are for perfumes that are strong statements. If you prefer intimate, subtle fragrance this may be for you. Aside from this criticism, Signature has whisper quite romantic and sensual appeal.

Does anyone else notice a similarity to Vanderbilt by Gloria Vanderbilt? THIS is what I wanted Vanderbilt to be...softer, just the perfect notes and missing the harsh, jarring note(s) that made me dislike Vanderbilt. My experience with Signature is that sillage and longevity are even better with this than with Fancy. Rating: 🍒🍒🍒

I searched & wanted this perfume so bad & idk why lol. The initial spray smells really really good to me but the dry down is yucky on me unfortunately

I loved Fancy and Fancy Love and found this in a gift set for 10 bucks so why not? I immediately tried the body spray that came in the set and liked it. I liked the sweet, citrus, vanilla combination. Before I got a chance to try the edp an acquaintance started wearing this to a regular gathering that I go to. She wore it like it was her last day on earth, though, and the room that's big enough for about 150 people got Signature bombed on a regular basis for a few weeks. I put it away for a while knowing I couldn't possibly enjoy it anytime soon after being force fed it. When I did try it I recognized the similarity to Kenneth Cole White. IMO Signature is KC White's obnoxious cousin. Maybe that's too harsh. Let's say unrefined cousin. It's just too much for me. I like sweet fragrances but this is too much sweetness and it's too sharp. Also, as others have mentioned, it doesn't last long. I may keep the body spray but the edp and travel/purse edp will either be traded or given away.

The citrus disappears on me in minutes to leave a generic, sweet, floral. I find no woods till about 4 hours in (this is when I actually start to enjoy it) and no chocolate ever. Florals are persistant and keep it far from gourmand territory through all stages. Dry down softens and settles the scent but it doesn't smooth out till the woods take over at the end. If I age this bottle will the top notes fade off? Is fragrance like wine in that time in the bottle can smooth the edges? Any guess on if this scent can do that? We'll see. Possibly unisex sliding more fem, depending on chemistry and your opinion on florals. This is really NOT what I want to smell on myself or someone I'm interested in (until the 4 hour mark when it gets good with the woods). Made for the office but loud and screechy if you overspray. I'm sad I blind-bought a full bottle in a four piece gift set. When will I learn?!

When i found a bottle at ross for $16 , I grabbed it really quick because the notes sounded delicious to me . I wanted to like this perfume so bad!! Unfortunately it was not what I was expecting. The first spray was a citrus bomb to my nose, and it didn't get any better as time went by. I also tested it on clothes to see if that would change anything, but the scent felt very synthetic and screechy. I did not like it at all .... Fast forward a few weeks later I bought a perfume on Mercari, and the person I bought it for also included a set of 3 Jessica Simpson body mists, and one of them was signature . The body mist was totally different from the perfume from the first spray. I still get heavy citruses at first, but I can also detect the peach and more fruitiness, then it quickly evolves into a creamy fruity floral with a hint of chocolate. IT'S DELICIOUS and I'm Obsessed!!
