Gold Cedar Nights

This to me very aromatic with cardamom, cinnamon, and nutmeg. I don't get much sweetness in it as mentioned on this page; I mean it is to the point that it is not sweet at all line. Very pleasant and different scent. It's masculine and should be complement getter. I do happen to have a Givenchy Very Irresistible for Men and although it is a good fragrance but does not come close to this one. GVI is very coffee forward but coffee in this is more like a supporting note and same for cardamom so you have to find it in the blend rather than screaming notes. This is a very beautiful blend and again to me it is an aromatic woody fragrance. Also patchouli note in it is very beautiful and bright complementing woody note of cedar which as name suggests is the main note in this fragrance. A safe buy in my opinion. FragranceNet.com has this for $54 at the time of drafting this review.

I was actually pretty disgusted by this for the first few weeks I had it, for whatever reason it hit my nose like an old bowl of salad with a soy dressing type smell.. Why? idk. Even then, in the drydown or off the atomizer I could smell what I WANTED to smell, and I loved it. I kept telling my brain to smell GOLD AND CEDAR AND CHOCOLATE, and over time the way my nose/brain perceived it literally changed lol. Now, its quite literally one of my favorites in a collection of 80 or so. It is just a masterfully done, beautiful and rich cedar-chocolate scent. It is the perfect combination of woodsy-spiciness from the cedar, mixed with the perfectly sweetened chocolate/praline note. Nothing about the quality here is cheap, this smells like top tier niche for me. (its from JDP's niche line, anyway.) Absolute love for me. Making sure I get my wears in with this one this winter.

I loved this scent right away, when I first sprayed I thought "mmm this is really nice", I love the "not too sweet gourmand cinnamon - coffee - cardamom opening" and when it dries down is lovely and a bit mysterious. It is not linear, it keeps changing slightly when in transition, I have not smelled "Intoxicated by Killian" but some people say this is very similar, and I definitely can say this fragrance is Intoxicating. This is one of my favourite cool weather fragrances and one of my favourites of my collection. Blind buy worthy in my opinion if you like not too sweet spicy gourmand mysterious fragrances. It is just different.

On my skin first 5-10mins smell like indian curry. But after the initial disappointment comes the magic. The frag is spicy, warm, tad sweet, enchanting and seductive with hints of cedar lurking around. I think it could be used by female as well. Performance in cool weather is astounding. I get over 12hrs off my skin. I paid 60eur and would definitely buy it again.

I do think this is beautiful. Its one of these scents that are both warm and cool. Meaning it really feels and smells like nighttime, a mild enchanted Mediterranean night. There is warmth, fresh air , darkness and open space. Something I wanna live in. It does lean quite masculine , so I’m considering selling, so pm if interested, EU.

I live in the US and I bought this fragrance from a Australian website called feelingsexy. It is a legit site that delivers to the US. I ended up paying around 90$. Nothing like halloween man fragrances. The praline and cardamom is front and center of this fragrance.

This is literally Intoxicated by Kilian but stronger. The opening is louder and longer lasting and then dries down to same lovely roasted coffee scent as the one in Intoxicated. Even lasts much longer. Impossible to find though.

Wow wow wow, this is a beautiful fragrance. Hidden gem 10/10, and this smells nothing like the hazelnut/mint fragrance givenchy irresistible. Two completely different frags that share no similarities what so ever.

If you came here looking for Golden Amber Night's, it is a fruity clone of Aventus. A quite good one too. Just thought I'd put this here as Golden Amber Night's for some reason is shunned by Fragrantica.

The praline in solo with good blended back vokals.The same result if mix Lattafas Khurafi and Raghba.Need wait 20min. to understand,why parfum named as Gold Cedar. Gem for 45Euro.

It's simply divine, heaven in the bottle, the praline and coffee combo is sweet but not overpowering. Reminds Givenchy Very Irresistible which I really miss.

The first review (and especially the last sentence) from user Rob321x from 11/18/21 is the most credible and I confirm it as 100% true. If it weren't for those "sweeteners" in the form of praline, vanilla and amber perfectly balanced with the other ingredients by the creator of Gold Cedar Nights Jesus Del Pozo, this eau de parfum would be a very high-quality spicy strangler. The batch code of the piece I bought is M13259 (2019-11-21), which means it probably comes from the first batch, which went on sale for the first time a few months later. The first opening of the very interestingly designed box greets us with an atomic cardamom-cinnamon bomb, which already makes us understand that the scent will definitely not be too reminiscent of Very Irresistible for men Givenchy. Fortunately, after bringing your nose closer to the bottle cap, it starts to get sweeter, which gives hope for at least some resemblance to Very Irresistible for men Givenchy. This resemblance becomes apparent only after the scent drydown. At the beginning, we are attacked by spices, which are later joined by the "sweeteners" I mentioned earlier. After the scent drydown, practically only the "sweeteners" I mentioned earlier remain, which convey the spirit of Very Irresistible for men Givenchy. Durability of the scent? What durability? After the first single sprays on both wrists in a room with a temperature of 22 degrees Celsius and 50% humidity, the scent changed into a skin scent after about 10 minutes. Outside, at my current temperature of 7 degrees Celsius, it will probably behave differently, and even more so after a dozen or so dozens of sprays (but I haven't had the opportunity to test both situations yet). The scent completely disappears from the skin after a little over 8 hours from the first spray. Since this eau de parfum has been discontinued, its price has skyrocketed and it's hard to buy it cheaper than around 90 USD/EUR (excluding shipping). I bought it at such an inflated price and I probably won't do it again, because I don't like the fact that the scent of spices stands out in the foreground for almost the entire duration of the scent as a whole. So why did I buy it at all? I stared at the balance of the paws under "This perfume reminds me of" for Very Irresistible for men Givenchy. It was my mistake. It's a beautiful scent that I'll wear from time to time, living with the knowledge that it definitely doesn't resemble Very Irresistible for men Givenchy 85% as user 99perfumes.bh wrote in his review from 07/25/21.

As so many have said, this can be off-putting at first - I loved it off the nozzle, but on skin it was so different from anything else I didn't quite know what to make of it. It's simultaneously a gourmand, but also a spicy/herbal freshie. The drydown is incredible for me - it's no exaggeration to say it's one of my favorite drydowns. A sweet, spicy cardamon-nutmeg praline with roasted coffee beans, exactly what the notes would suggest. The opening and mid with the stronger cinnamon and citrus will take some getting used to - but everyone is right - after you get used to how it opens and know what to expect it changes your perception of it. It's exactly as with the Mayfair by Creed opening. Your first experience with the way it opens may not be ideal, but once you know the full development of the scent it somehow makes it better on subsequent wearings, making those notes easier to find in that opening. An incredible value at discounters if you can find it.

This is simply liquid gold in a bottle. Sweet & spicy toffee latté heaven...defo going in my top ten favourite frags of all time. And the design of the bottle beautifully suits & fits this delicious, mystical nectar of love. Unbeatable longevity, projection & value. Blind buy of the century...i am completely floored in every way & completely lost for words. Smelling this transports me to a certain place in time of mysticism & wonder i've never encountered before. A truly spiritual, out of body experience for me. I hope you get the same effect too.
