Vivid Velvet

Cozy ozonic caramel. I would say it's the closest semblance I have smelled that manages to capture the selected aspects of BR 540 that are nearly universally appealing and leave out most of what's causing a controversy. This doesn't smell like a vaguely inspired reinterpretation like say Zeta by Morph, which manages to conjure a brief illusion of similarity, or the far more known Cloud and a dozen others. It smells very truthful to the muse, but just in a very curated way. It'd be very hard to pretend this isn't an intentional dupe of BR 540, because it so obviously is. It has just taken what's good in it and left the soggy band aids behind. I can't say for sure how well it projects because I'm slightly anosmic to it, but it has great longevity on me, and my skin eats perfume.

This is one of my favorite scents ever and fragrantica does not do it justice. It is sweet but in a spicy, peppery way. Milk&Thyme said it best - it's mysterious and seductive. It's interesting and unique without having to be loud. It knows what it is and doesn't have to shout it to draw attention - those who can appreciate it, will.

Beautiful and rich, but not as heavy as the the other similar parfums.. It is actually perfect for each occasion and each season..

I genuinely love this perfume, it's just wrapping into coziness and warmth. Though it's 100 ml, I have my spare bottle already

@Emren - Yes, to my nose is quite similar to BR but without the slight masculine dry down that BR has on my skin.

The official website says that the perfume also opens with a note of black pepper, which I think is not unimportant to mention. The first impression is that it's an attractive fragrance, a bit mysterious and seductive. Personally, I don't detect any sweetness in it, despite the notes and pyramid. My nose would never smell an exotic fruit or even a citrus note in this fragrance. It reminds me strangely and vaguely of some makeup I smelled when I was a little girl (I'm not sure if it was my grandmother's lipstick or some kind of powder), but not in a bad way. Is't just my association. The perfume is very elegant and unisex, it can definitely suit both women and men. I believe that moss as a note absorbs and silences all others, but in a positive way. On my skin, this is not a playful, carefree and innocent fragrance, but a serious, balanced and mature one. More of a night time scent imo, but wearable at any time. Sugar in it is the kind that melts in a glass of absinthe, not the kind that makes cotton candy. Really interesting parfume that keeps me sniffing my wrists and wondering why can't I smell most of the listed notes. Like Suede Breeze, this one also has the same breathability and airyness to it, it's not agressive in it's expression.

I like this perfume a lot. It is difficult to describe what it smells like, but I am certain that my nose just doesn't get the orange or fruit scent. It does smell sweet, but not a candy or fruity type of sweet. More like a powdery silky sweetness that leans a bit more on the unisex side with the ambergris. To me personally, this smells exactly what I associate velvet with - silky, smooth and slightly sweet. A bit of a con or a plus depending on how you look at it is that out of the Nightology series, I believe this to have the weakest longevity. The whole series does last pretty long though, so even with being the weakest of the bunch, it still stays on my skin for a good 6-8hours.

Fruity but fresh. Mysterious date night scent. It’s fruity but dark fruity

Another one very similar to BR540. It's a fresher, lighter take on it. It's way more delicate. The fruitiness is persistent and fresh. Safe to say it's like a spring version of it. I accidentally washed it off after less than 1.5h, it left no trace. If you are deciding between Ana Abiyedh Rouge, Red Temptation or Vivid Velvet, I strongly recommend the latter. It lacks the distinctive synthetic notes which makes the others smell awfully cheap. It's s the lightest of the dupes and has zero projection when getting past the first hour.

I really like this scent. Perhaps it may need some additional sprays for it to really last and project ( or maybe it is only my bottle). Nevertheless, this smells really sweet and fruity. The opening starts with a fruity, sugary type of sweet, and you also get some flowers in the combination. In the drydrown, fruity scents fade away into the back and sweeter sugar notes come front. You also get a whiff of mosses. To me personally, this smells like cotton candy.
