This smells more like what Dedcool’s Mochi Milk is supposed to smell like. To me it’s giving pacific asian desserts. Mochi, bingsoo, anything with a sweet rice flour base. Dries down to something slightly more herbal, spicy, but still has that powdery rice flour texture. Gives me big memories of walking through my local chinese supermarket as a kid. it’s a beautiful, unique scent.

First blast—immediately my nose was hit with something sweet before I even raised my wrist to my face, it was a bright, slightly oriental sweet. Smelling my wrist, there was a sweet rice, noted with red bean, like a 粽子, before is disappeared glimmerlingly into a bright, kumquat, citrus smell shaded in spices, slightly spicy like chinese cinnamon. The rice ducks in and out in the first 5 minutes. The kumquat has also disappeared, shadowed by the chinese cinnamon edged with a bit of chrysanthemum. An hour in, a bit more fresh, still the same cinnamon from before, a little fainter, less cloying. An hour and a half in, I can already sense it settling into my skin, becoming more of a skin scent. It is getting cozier, if not a tad fresher, the spices have mellowed into a warm and light sweetness. I'm itching for more rice but can only detect the slightest grain. I haven't smelled the soybean listed in the base notes yet. Three hours in, t has become very comforing skin. the chrysanthemum has taken the forefront, every once in a while, the spice and cinnamon ducks its head into the room, before disappearing behind the florals once again. I quite enjoy this, just missing the soybean note that I was really excited for. Not sure what occasion I'd wear it out for, maybe for when I went home or a family dinner party.

Despite the consensus being that this is a more savoury gourmand, I still found it cloyingly sweet. Especially so at the top where the combination of citrus and spices remind me of the apple flavoured Neocitran. I also detect liquorice, so I wonder if there is star anise in here. While I love liquorice, I think it adds to the sweetness. It does settle into something I find much more pleasant: delicately spiced, with a powdery rice note rather than a steamed rice, and a slight woody note that tones down the sweetness. That being said, for me the dry down is not worth it, and I will not be purchasing.

A fresh fragrant rice experience. Unfortunately, its gone by the time you sit, order, and finish your meal.

Such an odd fragrance. Official notes are: Kumquat Rice, red bean Soy sauce, Chinese cinnamon I can’t find anything good about this one....made a bit nauseous.

I can smell the rice note but it's overpowered by vetiver and soy sauce, it's like fermented grass, quite sharp also. Not for me.

I wanted to like this so much, but it is offensive. In the opening I get the savory rice, but it is immediately cut through with strong spices in a terrible way. It is so pungent and unlikable. I tried on skin and I couldn't get away from it fast enough. It's strong and made me nauseous.

a very rice-heavy creamy-woody, unisex creation, super rich, it’s a bit too heavy for my nose, but could work nicely in colder weather. Similar to Meo’s Sogni which has tatami / rice accord.
