Evergreen

I adore this fragrance, mind you I'm a white flower (the classics) lover. After a lengthy (15+ years) sabbatical from fragrance (all related to workplace prohibitions) I've recently returned to the land of fragrance revisiting old faves and discovering new lovelies. Clearly it's been a long time seeing as this debuted in 2014 but what a charming and somewhat understated modern take on my favourite flowers. I've long preferred the "big name/heavy hitters" so this was an utter surprise. Such a gentle green interpretation of white flowers dominated by LOTV (which I adore). The first hour it stays soft and light on the white while the pear and pepper slowly emerge into the next hour. They don't overwhelm, just give some backbone to the delicate orange blossom. Initially I thought it was of minimal staying power but second time I spritzed closer to 6x and found it lasted a good four hours. The drydown into some of the most gentle sandalwood and patchouli bases I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Yes, reapply throughout the day with little fear you'll overwhelm.

Such a delight, this perfume is fresh and sweet enough to make you smile and never wonder about what's in it. Suffice to say it gets you feel good and pretty, without being too soppy or sugary. What a pity that it does not last very long...and maybe, just maybe if it had a pinch more of pepper I would have found it tiptop and thorough

Morning spring garden bottled. As simple as that. It's lovely, amazingly subtle floral scent with lots of lily-of-the-valley, a bit of rose and fruits. 100% ladylike. It reminds me of a silky scarf, maybe due to creamy sandalwood base notes.

This is the fragrance that made me fall in love with green perfumes. It's so fresh, so green, so 100% spring. I usually think floral scents are boring and I need something sweet or musky to interest me, but this feels like standing in a just blooming forest. It's so fresh in a soft way, not at all in a sporty way. It smells like standing in the grass with naked feet and a white dress. I don't think it's fit for any season other than SPRING! I do have to say, it's less long lasting and has less projection than I'm used to. That just tends to be the way it is with more subtle floral/green fragrances. But I'd say it benefits the scent. This is not something that wants to be overbearing

Fresh and elegant, I mean REALLY ELEGANT. Fresh floral, great for office but also for a romantic date. And there's no exaggeration in it. It's like a kameleon - adjusting to the situation. The name is really telling - it's a typical "evergreen". If it had come out in the 1990's, I wouldn't be surprised. Being a modern scent, it still perfectly fits in the times from two decades ago, so universal!

I'm not the world's biggest fan of pear or lily-of-the-valley in perfume but here the combination is done pretty damn well. This evokes a dewy, bright green spring leaf, it's fresh and fruity, amazingly without being juvenile or shampoo-y. Longevity abhorrent, as you would expect. This is a spritzer.

Unoffensive, green, floral, slightly fruity spring-summer fragrance. In the beginning, I smell the lily-of-the-valley and the pear the most, then it turns muskier and creamier. Definitely not signature fragrance worthy because it is too unremarkable and it also has poor longevity. I would consider it just as an easy grab and go for the summer for when I take my dog on walks :)

I really wanted to love this perfume. I’ve lived with it for nearly seven months now and given it plenty of chances, wearing it in both cold and warm weather, hoping something might eventually click. Unfortunately, it never has. In colder weather, it opens as a sickly sweetness with a sharp, plastic-like synthetic edge, before drying down into something oddly sour. There’s no real sense of floral or aquatic notes emerging, nothing to anchor it or give it dimension. Now that summer has arrived, the experience hasn’t improved. It still opens sweet and synthetic, but this time dries down into a vaguely artificial guava note. Again, no florals, no freshness, no green elements, just the same flat impression in a different temperature. It’s been a disappointing blind buy. I’ve tried to find a use for it, but at this point it’s been relegated to room spray, and even then, my husband complains that it gives him a headache. That probably tells me everything I need to know. At some stage, I’ll likely let it go entirely. Sadly, this mirrors my experience with every Demeter perfume I’ve tried so far: overly synthetic, plasticky sweetness, and very little payoff. An unfortunate pattern, but one I’ll take as a lesson learned. Not everything works out, and sometimes acceptance is easier than forcing affection that just isn’t there.

I have a soft spot in my heart for Jil Sander perfumes because they never fail to give me a sense of sophistication, but I'll be completely honest here. Evergreen is clean and pleasant..the type of summertime perfume that you'd wear right after your daily shower to feel fresh. That's it. Doesn't stand out, nothing special and longevity is very poor. I'd opt for Versace Versense or Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue if I wanted something with the same vibes as this one but with much better performance.

At first spray I wasn't thrilled by the white floral, honeydew blast and put it away for a long time. Trying it again and more patiently there is spice behind the sweet that's quite compelling. When you want the light fresh aspect of greenery without underlying chypre notes, which I want to leave behind sometimes. A warm sandalwood base softened by vanilla gives the last impression. Pretty and rather sophisticated. You won't be smelling this at the mall

Easy, green, fresh, clean, slightly soapy and powdery. Unfortunately, poor silage, poor longevity, but for this price - it's only fair. In my perception, it is alot like Floral Blush by Coach and Away woman by Abercrombie & Fitch,but these are better in terms of silage and longevity and, of course, have higher prices ;-) I use it combined with the body lotion Evergreen and someday I will buy the shower gel, too.

After spraying: pear + kivi? + green note + vanilla (overripen fruits note similar to that in Paradiso of Cavalli) After 15 minutes: not so fruity now, it's getting muskier, soapier now, green note + musk + rose. Green Floral. So if you are looking for fresh green fragrance it is not quite this. But if you like Eternity Moments or other rose perfumes and want something greener it can be a good choice.

This is a very subtle fragrance, clear, refreshing and light. Perfect for warmer days and sports also. The bottle is chosen so well for the smell because it feels like beeing out in nature. It's a soft cloud of green blossoms and not yet mature pear and all notes are surrounded by a wonderful vanilla note. Nice and sparkling like a glass of soda with a hint of slightly green pear.

Fresh, clear, a bit powdery and a bit sweet. Nothing groundbreaking, but nonetheless a pretty and pleasant fragrance for spring and summer. Relaxing and inoffensive, safe gift and safe blind buy. It’s one of the best from this brand. Longevity is moderate, sillage is soft. Notes i detected: Grapefruit blossom, rose, pear. Final note: 7/10

Its really sweet on me. Green, floral and sweet with loads of vanilla and patchouli. Smells different to what I expected. Way stronger sweeter and intense. I like it but indeed it struck me as a surprise. It's pretty, quite a unique take on a green perfume. I wish to have a big sized bottle.

I tested it today. No green, no fresh, no depth. Sour, but the bad way. If you like Arden Sunflowers Morning Gardens, then Evergreen is for you. They smell EXACTLY the same!

I didn't like it unfortunately. Can't remember it now how smelled. Had a sample when it was new in stores.
