Jil Sander Sun Men Sport

I picked this up recently for £9 as a 75ml gift set with shampoo and I was not expecting much tbh. I have smelt Jil Sander Sun before and it was neither here nor there a bit meh. I thought I would blind buy this for the price to give it a whirl. Mainly because I have come to a conclusion that a lot of sport or summer scents are actually better suited to me in the winter or on cloudy, rainy days. It is like they react to the atmosphere better, especially ginger, vetiver and peppery notes. On me this one is very similar to Lalique Encore Noir sport but lighter and not as much depth. Slightly more pepper. I am wearing it today on a winter day and works really well. The sillage is slightly above average for most summer or sport scents and is lasting really well. I think more people should try these type of frags as winter or cold day frags and I think you'd be surprised.

I was bored and tried a few "cheapies" in a local drug store one was Jil Sander Sun Sport. At first this seemed boring: a bit bergamot, just another sport fragrance. But Sun Sport turned out to be rather good: vanillic, musky, and pretty charismatic As well. Lasting power is great! 7,5/10

Not bad but nothing that tickles my fancy. A very soft scent from start to finsih.

Sporty frag, the pepper is very well balanced, not dominating, a fine combination of ingredients. For a 75 ml the price is a bargain. Good projection, still smells at the end of the day. You can use it everyday. It's a finding, really stands alone. Won't regret it.
