Salt

Edit: After a day of wearing this on skin & clothes, it sadly triggered a migraine. Something about it became very harsh and screechy. And after some time, it projected like a beast (which I dont like) ---- This is pretty. Very ethereal. The top is a semi-sweet light cardamom + lavender, with subtle aldehydes that give it an airiness (the aldehydes don't go soapy for me). The combination definitely evokes something slightly salty without having a specific salt note. The vanilla in the base is very subtle and just adds a bit of sweetness. I do think if you go into this expecting just "salt", you might be confused. It's more like you're at a beach with lavender bushes on the side, it's winter and the salt from the cold water is evaporating into the air on the shore. Your friend is eating a vanilla bean ice cream, another friend is having a chai latte with cardamom. It's not gourmand by any means, just all these smells combining into the air / ozone. It's definitely expensive at $290/100mL, but it kind of has a similar ethereal beauty to Lilyphea by Diptyque, which is even more expensive lol ($345/100ml). For me, it has better longevity and sillage than Lilyphea.

Anyone tried Salt? I already have Dior Eden Roc. Worried this might be too similar.
