Sport for Women

This is my ultimate winter perfume. To me, it is only in cold snowy wheather that it shows it's true freshness and cleanness and I suspect this explains why so many people have given it negative or half-negative reviews. Strangely, it is the perfume that has gotten me the most compliments from men but as I say I only wear it in winter. For all those ski lovers, wear it on the ski slopes, it's magic - sexy and sporty and thoroughly clean but not in a detergenty way.

I don't get why this perfume gets so many harsh reviews. It's fresh and fruity but doesn't smell fake like some of the Escada fragrances. Very nice for springtime. I like expensive perfume, and to be honest this smells so similar to Creed Spring Flowers. I paid a fortune for Creed, but I'd rather wear this Jil Sander fragrance any day. Give it a chance!

that's my favourite frag for years... first I feel a lot of grapefriut . There is something bitter in this scent . After an hour it changes into fresh and spicy aroma. What I love in this scent? It always suits me and I always get compliments. Especially man pays compliments to me . :)

I as a male agree with the comments that this leans masculine, bordering unisex.Probably will get a bottle soon.Smelt this last spring on my relative (female), it was sunny and a bit windy, it was very fresh-woody and a lil bit floral.Anyway it ́s pleasant on either male or female.

I bought this one when a sales person offered me to try this on while i was looking for the body lotion of another perfume... I instantly fell in love and used for more than 2 summers... I really feel happy and energetic when i am wearing this. :)

I absolutely love this scent. It’s hard to categorize even though it’s named 'Sport', it’s neither fresh nor aquatic. It smells incredible, but sadly, the longevity and projection are super weak.

Of all the Jil Sander frags that I love and own this is my least favorite. It is not a typical Jil Sander scent, which usually comes with this awesome vanilla undertone that I absolutely love. Well, I guess it wouldn't be a sport fragrance if it did, as the other Sander frags are super feminine and warm. But if I like to wear a sporty, fresh scent I prefer Intrusion by Oscar de la Renta, Shi by Alfred Sung, or Light Blue by Dolce and Gabbana. It is most likely the only Jil Sander fragrance that I will phase out of my collection ones I used it up, and me being an absolute Sander fan, that means something. It doesn't smell bad, but there are better sporty frags out there with better projection and longevity. So this gets a like, but not a love like my other Sander babies, even though the overload of freshness subsides after a few hours, and a faint whiff of the all so familiar Jil Sander smoothness comes through, but almost too late to safe the day.

I've been longing to own this one for ages now. This is the perfect summer scent. Every time I use it, I feel as if I was just splashed with cool (not cold!) water and I can take a deep breath bouncing back to life thoroughly refreshed. It's like putting your overheated head in the sea of liquid fruits. Reminds me of a frosted glass with ice cubes and a sweet&sour fruity drink in it. The dry down is warm, but not heavy, not very long lasting though. Perfect for summer evenings in gardens when just a hint of the silkiness is needed to catch someone's attention... Love it!

Fresh fragrance, uplifting my mood. One of the few fresh scents I like. Ginger, grapefruit, tangerine cedar - Creates this composition. Lightly, freshly, nice, gently flower because it is in the background freesia and apple. Pleasant for the summer. Durability not the best. But besides THAT, the whole SCENT is ok.

I received this one as a gift from my mum for my birthday. It starts of fresh and sporty but then it settles down sweet and heavy. It reminds me of Jil Sanders Sun Delight. I like it but from its name "SPORT" I would have expected a fresher scent.

I like the opening,it's refreshing and smells citrusy to me. but the dry down is not so sweet on my skin and I don't actually like it a lot.anyway it is sweet and light, nice for summer.

Gorgeous, fresh and sweet - not sure why but on my skin it develops a very soft coconutty smell! Love it! My spring fave :)

I agree with Index and Chance25 that this perfume becomes sweet and sugary smelling after starting out quite fresh and a bit unisex smelling. I'm very disappointed because I was looking forward to getting this because I managed to get a bottle cheaply on the internet but it's really nothing special at all, although pleasant enough in its own way, and certainly wouldn't be worth the full price I've seen it advertised for, which is inordinately expensive for what it is. It also has virtually no staying power and almost totally vanishes within a very short space of time! Sport reminds me very much of Benetton Sport except that it's slightly sweeter and nowhere near as long lasting, or as reasonably priced. Benetton Sport is much better, clearer and fresher, has good staying power and is very cheap!

Out of the bottle and freshly sprayed it smells really fresh, fruity and nice. But when it settles it becomes a more spicy and a little bit of a manly smell. Too bad.. but this is not for me.

Nothing, but nothing special at all. You can not define any note, only some red fruits and flowers, smells confusingly, like laundry softener concentrate. Not worth of money.

I actually don't like this at all. This is not fresh or sporty, to me it's quite heavy and overpowering. I also agree with the unisex point.

I work at a hotel and in one room I instantly noticed such a nice fresh smell that kind of reminded me of a scent I know from childhood but I can't put my finger on it. First I assumed it's a deodorant, air freshener or even detergent on clean laundry but as it turns out it's from a perfume sitting on the sink. I think this is the kind of smell that shines the most when you get a whiff of it walking by or the residue after you left the room but definetely an "aha-smell". Clean,Fresh,fruity smells are my favorites so this might be my new sig. Only thing is I was surprised it's supposed to be a sporty fragrance b/c to me it smells sophisticated yet flirty.

Another perfume by Jil Sander purchased today, initially I really liked it, fresh, fruity citrus, the aftermath leaves me a little perplexed, I can definitely smell the peony but with a very strong hint of sandalwood, it seems very dry in the dry down more masculine although still sweeter than you might think.... I don't know, it doesn't fully convince me, between sandalwood and cedar... I think it's a men's perfume... I'll talk about it as I continue to feel its evolution on my skin and for this reason I continue to feel unisex even more masculine than feminine, however it is a perfume without praise or infamy in my opinion

This is a smiling fragrance. I’m always looking for complex and dramatic scents that can explain a concept, that can give strong emotions. But sometimes, when I’m tired, stressed and worried I need a serene scent, something that makes me feel young, carefree and playful. This is the perfect fragrance. It’s not so simple and not so fresh as many others sporty scents. Fruity, flowery, woody and soft. And where I live it’s an underrated scent. It deserves much attention. On my skin it is feminine. Simply joyous. Not a masterpiece, but decorous fragrance.

Being a huge Jil Sander fan I hate to say but I don't like this one. It's probably me - one of the notes listed could I detect. Not citrus, definitely not floral. Upon spraying it's an unbearably strong alcoholic scent, nothing else. Seriously, nothing. Then after 5-10 minutes it turns nicer. Kind of sweeter floral, but not really sweet, nor floral either. I love pepper in scents, mine did not have any of that.My first Jil Sander that is absolutely forgettable without any character. And I have a big 50 ml bottle almost full...

A month ago I bought it blind on ebay because I thought it ́s sth. like Light blue but a bit sweeter...For me it ́s too sharp in the beginning, very masculine, and then it becomes sweeter and-for me-sticky and not fresh. I was not impressed, nothing special all, maybe Jil Sander is really not my perfume house. I gave it to a friend who likes it.

Sport is a sweet floral on me. It's almost sugary in the dry down, I almost smell watermelon. Smells a lot like Anna Sui's Dolly Girl(pink bottle). I expected this to smell citrusy and clean from the name, but it's almost the opposite. Not heavy, but very floral and forgettable

At first I didn't like it, just nothing special to me. But then I grew appreciating it for its simplicity, it's a very light, summery fragrance. Not heavy. I'd like to have it and wear it when I feel very carefree and I want to smell clean.

Very modern and light perfume. I have it for years and always get compliments on it, cause it is not overpowering or heavy. It makes me happy and I still cannot get sick of it!

One of not many fruit aromas, which refreshes the explosion of fruit and freshness.
