Sun Eau de Parfum

This smells like going to the pool, being absolutely exhausted afterwards and washing off the sunscreen in the public showers with the "spanish orange romance" scented shower gel your friend gifted you for your birthday. You feel a sunburn developing on your arms and nose and your bikini left tan lines. You have to bike home now but that's okay, it's still comfortably warm and someones waiting at home to cuddle up with you after dinner. Such a cozy, summery scent, I absolutely love it. The orange doesn't jump out in your face, it doesn't make the perfume overly citrus-y, it is a nice note. The jasmine note just feels like me, I like jasmine in perfumes. This is personal, but this scent reminds me a bit of my mother, even though she has never worn it. I'd really recommend this scent, it's an easy and agreeable summer scent that is sharp in all the right ways.

I have worn this a few times since picking it up this summer. It’s so pretty. Really takes me back to summers in the 80’s at the beach when I slathered myself down with Bain de Soleil orange suntan gelle,“For that San Tropez tan” It stained my swimsuit but smelled divine! This captures that feeling so well. Today I decided to wear it to remind me that the sun still shines. My husband commented as we got in the car that whatever I was wearing smelled great. It projects moderately and more than I had thought. He doesn’t compliment my fragrances very often. I adore this and will reach for it often, sun, rain or clouds.

Everything fusspot hated, I loved! It smells like the combination of orange drink mix, red bull and lush's lust with a powdery finish. Very fun and fresh I was never that into the original Jill Sander Sun, but I find this very moreish and fun! Grab some if it sounds good to you.

Immediate love at first sniff. Instant back up bottle purchase worthy. Proper beachy scent full of sunscreen swimsuits and nostalgia. If you like fragrances like Mancera Holidays and JHAG Lust for Sun then this is a safe blind buy.

At first this just smelt like orange and Red Bull (the energy drink). Well actually it’s plasticky at first but then It transitions into an orange flavoured cough syrup. I was sort of digging how weird it was until it just settled on being a sweet red bull and Jasmine perfume. Strong Jasmine! Like Lush Lust levels of sweet Jasmine! Oddly it didn’t last long even thought it’s supposed to be Eau de parfum!

I love the bottle—sunny orange + bold graphic "SUN" text. Minimal and timeless, but still fun. It's a really sweet jasmine scent which is cute at first, but doesn't make me feel like myself. I do think the packaging is influencing our perception of the fragrance—I can't really detect anything citrusy or orange about it. I'm also no flavor chemist, but you can really clock the jasmine/grape-candy accord (methyl anthranilate) which caught me off-guard when I wore this at the gym. As of now, it's really too saccharine and not a fragrance for me. I'll try layering it with something woodier to sober it up.

I was going to blind-buy it and I am happy that I did not. The old version of sun has a very unique scent,strong and in your face I got few samples of this new version and I was experimenting with it on different weather. Very dissapointed. It is very boring. smells like an orange lollipop dipped in an orange soda. It is not a bad smell at all ,but nothing original. Do not blind-buy if you are expection to find something from the original sun in this new version.
