Sun Men Parfum

Beautiful blend which due to the heavy use of benzoin smells like it could have been released in the late 80s - early 90s. Smells like bottled sunshine from better days. Aromatic, cozy, warm, fresh & very appealing. Like a more modern version of the 1992 Salvador by Salvador Dali. Great performance also. I applaude Jil Sander for this ambitous release, bravo!

Absolutely stunning creation. Warm, sweet, powdery and ambery yet undeniably made for the heat. The juniper berries make it slightly mentholated and fresh and the woods make it creamy and smooth. It reminds me of One Millions and Nikos Sculpture, but I'd keep it over those 2 every day of the week, as it's more interesting and layered.

Blind buy but a safe one, the notes you actually hear are mostly wood, warm leather, while the berries are slightly noticeable only for the first 20 minutes. It’s very adaptable for all seasons and is not too invasive or aggressive, I would say it can easily suit most men.

Very long lasting, very good projection. The scent is very likable and "safe", and also has a very "late 80s vibe". Despite all this, I find it quite unique. Excellent price vs quality ratio.

Really like this fragrance. It's something unique to my nose and not similar to many scents out there. The reviewer below me mentions Nikos Sculpture which is something I've also thought about purchasing before. That scent is well respected in the community so if Sun Men Parfum is similar to it I'm quite happy. You'll get noticed with this as its not everywhere, would definitely get a positive compliment. Chris from Scent Land does a fantastic review of this on YouTube, check it out and he is spot on with the description. It has this great initial sweet and spicy vibe but still feels soft and very likeable, it's quite attention grabbing for the first hour or two so easy with sprays, there is definitely a slight darkness to it with the leather so maybe not for really hot weather as it would get cloying if your really sweaty.

A good fragrance. Waited several years for this to parfum version to finally pop up in my eBay saved-search bin. It's hard to find in the US. Not what I was expecting though.. It's in the same wheelhouse as Nikos Sculpture Homme. Certainly not a clone, but does remind me of that fragrance quite a bit. For the price, it was an easy purchase.

I was curious about this, after loving one of the early flankers "fizz" - such great memories / vibes! ... this is a bit heavier, it still has that core smell, but there's absolutely no doubt, even though this has been released in the last few years, it smells very 90s / 00s! There's just a note, indescribable, that just screams "nostalgia" .. look, it costs £30 for 75ml, it has low/average longevity, you can wear it any time of year, it's nice to go down memory lane, it's not a 'bad' smell by any means, but the question is, in a sea of fragrance, is this worth the money / your time? for me, it'll be a gym / around the house smell - definitely not one I'd wear further afield! 5/10 fragrance, but by no means bad

The listed notes don't do its justice. It definetely gives "Solar notes", sun-screeny vibes. Mix them with a bit of aromatics in the opening and smooth, warm leather in the mid & dry down and here you go. Could easily be a One-Million flanker. Maybe a bit generic and not fully in my taste, but I can see situations where it fits.

I think, this PARFUM version is definitely a winter scent.
