Sun Summer Edition

My Mom (God, rest her soul) was from Germany and I remember her always purchasing Jil Sander fragrances and her big representation in Germany! I absolutely love her fragrances. I have quite a few and will always have them in my collection. This particular one is such a beautiful white floral clean scent! Vanilla comes through on the drydown on me. Definitely for summer, hence the summer edition. For being a EDT the performance is amazing! And I can see the sillage is the same! This is a stunner without being overly similar to other floral! Highly recommended 10/10

I bought this absolute gorgeous perfume some 2 y ago, and, and, and, more and, still I can't wear it :(( I have tested it a few times with same results, it's my cross-allergy saying "no" to the black currant-note in it, as I said before; I can use this perfume as a lip filler, cause my lips and cheaks swallow, and my lungs hit the astma... It's a pitty, such an exeptionell good smelling perfume, I love it dearly, it's hard to let it go.... so, I have to pass it on to a new lucky owner :))

Fresh and bright, with the subtle vanilla and tonka bean undertones. Beautiful, light fragrance that morphs with your natural scent. Perfect for outdoor activity and light enough to wear to the gym. Love this smell and you’re sure to get compliments, especially after a fresh application. Longevity is moderate but not super impressive. Sillage is pretty good! This has a lot of complexity yet still very pleasant and awakening!

Acerbic bergamot and dry rosewood with a lightly powdery orange flower, vanilla, & benzoin base. Sharp divergence from the original Sun by Jil Sander, but a very solid offering nonetheless. Perfect for warm weather, has a very tangible drying/cooling effect. Good sillage (around arms' length) and lasts around 4-5 hrs.

Wanted to love it. Sadly, reminds me of dryer sheets.

It's very zesty and lemony in the beggining, almost bitter. Like it makes me want to do the face you make when you bite a lemon. I don't mean this in a negative way. But the vanilla and tonka warm it up in the base. In my experience citrusy scents usually pull very masculine or they smell like bathroom cleaner, but this is like a nice warm woody citrus. I think its perfect for super hot weather, I think it could be too sharp during winter. But in the summer it's perfect because it's fresh and not super sweet yet quite warm.

Fizzy, luminous and slightly sweet. A nice fragrance for a lazy summer afternoon. Fans of Jil Sander will like this, because it has that Jil Jander DNA in it. It’s not a groundbreaking scent, but it is pretty. Sillage and longevity are average. Notes i could detect: bergamot, orange blossom and black currant. Final note: 5/10

Hmmmm.... violet and vanilla and tonka bean do not speak much of summer vibes to me. Wood and benzoin notes as well. Too rich, powdery and sweet for that, even throwing in the mix some lily of the valley, citruses and grape to mitigate. Looking forward to reviews on testing! I love the bottle though!!
