Sunset

I think some of the reviewers expected a sweet or vanilla-ambery perfume like the original Sun or Sun Delight, so we’re underwhelmed. This is not that style of perfume, it’s a chypre, and a good one! It’s airy yet strong, sophisticated and very wearable. Very elegant and chic.

Beautiful. Strong. But nothing new. A classy rose-patch kombo like many others.

Mainly a peach, with abstract floral heart that deepens it. Patchouli is undetectable to me. The peach is a cosmetic one. Not true to life and yet instantly recognizable. It has an arm length sillage at first but seems gentle on. Lasts past 7 hours but does not change with time at all. Still, a pretty blend. I catch wafts of it from time to time. At first my nasal passages were aware of it and yet it is 86% natural claims the sampler. Likeable and feminine.

Sunset opens with a realistic peach and a slight rose, which both leave the stage after a few minutes. Then transitions to a heavy, sweet-sour and spicy patchouli. The scent sits close to the skin and is deep and warm. Won't annoy anyone, even in summer. Simple and elegant.

this fragrance is so lovely! at first i think it smells the same way a peach lemonade tastes. and then it warps into a refreshing soft rose scent. it’s beautiful and perfect for spring time.

I still admire how Jil Sander turns its strictly minimalist approach into beautifully designed objects, both in terms of color, shape and content.

Quite good! Starts very fruity and then gives quickly way to a very pleasant blend of rose and patchouli. Warm and sensuel.

The juiciest peachy rose. You are going to smell like a pretty princess, but still very sophisticated.

On me this is predominantly peach, without too much of rose+patchouli, even past the opening. Just something to consider if you expect primarily a rose scent.

Was surprised to see peach in the notes online- to me it was straight synthetic floral. Very rosy, very chemical.

This perfume smells like simple, soft rose and is pleasant but too nondescript and mellow.

this is such a beautiful scent i love it, i cant really smell the patchouli, the peach really shows through with a hint of the rose note i got it as a sample but ill definitely be buying a bottle of it when i have a chance edit: i kind of smell the patchouli, it takes a while for the scent to show up the drydown is patchouli with a hint of roses and a sweet scent

Was hoping for a strong, powerful opening that would fade into something darker, more mysterious but it's fairly generic with the peach/rose combo that doesn't really evolve much. I like the bottle and Jil Sander was once upon a time a great designer but this lacks personality, depth.

Imagine you took a shower after a long day at the beach. You are putting on your summery dress to sit comfortably in the garden all night long, and can still smell your shampoo. That’s the smell you get from Sunset.

Very interesting, one note? Dying to try that one.
