Jimmy Choo Blossom Special Edition 2018

A friend of mine gifted this to another friend for her birthday a couple of years ago, and I always remembered thinking how lovely it smelled when she tried it on and wore it. Fast forward to now, I spotted it on the shelf in the shop unexpectedly, tested it and was in love again. A bit confusing as there are a couple of Jimmy Choo Blossoms but always remembered this as being the peachy coloured one, not pink. The smell is lush! I can really smell the fruits (I get peach, and what I think is papaya, with other sweet fruits), and a few minutes in I get a sweet honey scent which is delicious! (Could this be the frangipani coming in?) I find the dry down quite sweet too with a bit of woodiness. For an EDP I don’t think it lasts overly well, but I think sillage is quite good- I sprayed it in my bedroom when i first got it, went out of the room to make a drink and when I came back I could still smell it quite strongly. The bottle is a gorgeous peachy- orange colour, almost neon in certain lights. This is nice for spring and summer, I think it would be a nice pick for a summer evening out for drinks or a meal/BBQ.

In my quest to find a dupe of the discontinued Pacific Paradise by Escada, I purchased this fragrance. A bit confusing as there are 3 different versions of Blossom Special Edition by Jimmy Choo, but I made sure to purchase the right one. Unfortunately I did not realize until after buying that this fragrance is generally harder to find than Pacific Paradise. A truly disappointing realization, as I absolutely adore this! Fruity and tropical without smelling cheap or shampoo-like, which can happen all too often with these types of scents. It’s like a more refined, classy version of an Escada fragrance. A lot of similarities to Ralph by Ralph Lauren. It’s sweet and juicy, but never cloying. The notes are blended very well, but if I had to guess, I’d say I get pineapple, passionfruit, and of course frangipani. The sandalwood starts to come out after 20-30 minutes. Sillage and longevity are average. An absolutely delicious perfume that I will keep for those special summer days (and nights)!

Definitly fruity! Delicate smell of frangipani and wood notes on dry down, can't really smell musk.quite sweet but not sickly, little goes a long way and lasts a long time

Fruity sweet and bit of florals, smells absolutely delicious, on my skin i dont get any musk which im happy about.

This has such a beautiful opening, very fruity and fresh without being sickly. I do get a bit bored with it after a while but it’s pleasant, youthful and a cheerful fragrance.

It started out so perfectly sweet and fruity and I was sure I found my next buy. Then it turned powdery and musky. So so musky. I ́m really disapointed about how fast it changed from lovely to something totally different. Pretty bottle.

Agree with magdalena81.1’s review - started off delicious and fruity and I was thinking yes this may be my next purchase but then turned sickly. Had to scrub off so longevity and sillage was good.

I don't like to leave a negative review but here is my run down of of this fragrance. I do like it it's not that it's a horrible perfume it's actually quite lovely it's just very fruity tropical vibe. It just feels like it is a bit expensive for a perfume that smells like a lot of the cheaper celebrity fragrances and the escada fruity ones also. It just doesn't have a nice mix of floral in there with the fruit it just feels like it's all fruit to me. To be honest I do enjoy fruity florals but this just smells too much like fruit juice for me to enjoy wearing as an actual perfume.

Holy mother of all that is delicious! Seriously, if you can get your hands on a bottle of this, grab it fast. Best opening of any fragrance bar none. The fragrance kicks off with an explosion of peach and all things sweet (but not at all sickly), then the delicate frangipani waltzes in, and finally sandalwood joins the dance, with soft musk bringing everything together. Playful, pretty, sparkling. I wish this wasn't limited.

I tested this today. I can smell the exotic fruits, and as it's settling the floral notes are beginning to show themselves. It's a nice uplifting scent, pretty, carefree and not very complicated. Nice though.

Why this perfume reminds me of Ralph by Ralph Loren? I tested it at the shop and i loved it. But now it's too sweet to me and so cloying.
