Jimmy Choo Fever

This is a beautiful cool weather scent. 🍁 ❄️. It's warm, spicy, and jammy, all very well blended so the notes harmonize instead of compete. The plum combined with the resin and wood notes make up the scent equivalent of crushed velvet. It's just sweet enough to avoid being stuffy, just smoky and nutty enough to give it an inviting seasonal feel. I love bringing this out as soon as the first crisp air of fall arrives. It makes me want to sip orange-apple tea and rewatch Hocus Pocus. I could see Morticia Addams wearing this to a monster ball with one of her slinky but elegant black dresses. The bright fruity notes are perfect for those red and gold autumn days, then the drier notes carry it effortlessly after dark. It seems to blend naturally with the sound of crickets and dry leaves on cool evening air. Sillage is very respectable, no need to overspray. Longevity is equally impressive. I get a good 8 hours on skin, longer on clothes. The price is reasonable for the quality. IMHO this is an underrated gem. On one hand, I'm glad it wasn't over-hyped so that everybody is wearing it. On the other hand, I hope it doesn't get discontinued for not being popular enough. This dark jewel has become one of my fall signatures, holding its own next to Hypnotic Poison, Black Opium, and other fall favorites. I love that the vanilla coffee sits next to a jammy pastry here, adding that little something extra to an otherwise standard scent profile. A Fever dream in the best way. 💗

I am an introvert and am tired of blindbuying perfume so I worked up the strength Last weekend and I went to the mall and I tried about 50 top notch , designer house expensive fragrances and they all smelled dull except this one and a few others. The mall sold this for double the price on Ebay so I bought it from ebay. It arrived yesterday. This scent is everything that I have been looking for. It is very seductive warm and very thick and plum jammy but not cloying.... for a mature woman. I absolutely love it. The amber warmth is surreal. A cold weather scent. There's a little bit of powderiness to it that rounds it off so it's not suffocating. I have come to learn that I love any fragrance that has warm balmy benzoin in it or the fruit "lychee" in it. It's a mysterious smelling fruit. It's sweet but there's something about it that makes it absolutely gorgeous. This perfume has me wanting to go out and taste a lychee. 💥Jimmy Choo got this fragrance right. It lasts on my skin all night until I take a shower. I really pray that this wonderful fragrance is never discontinued. 🖤💜🖤

I am addicted to this fragrance. I’ve been searching for a new signature scent for about a year now but nothing really stood out to me. I had this in my notes for a few months after testing practically every perfume at my local Ulta Beauty. When I returned to finally purchase one, I could not get over this fragrance. I originally sprayed it on a card strip and couldn’t decide if I preferred it to the brighter, fresher fragrance I was looking for. But as soon as I sprayed it on my wrist, I fell in love. I continued shopping for about an hour and I’d catch a whiff of it every other minute. I couldn’t stop smelling myself. It’s perfectly balanced and sensual, I honestly believe I could wear it year round. It’s everything I’ve been searching for. The notes blend together to create a beautiful creamy fruity floral fragrance. The citrus and coffee notes are very subtle on my skin, but on my clothes the citrus stands out a bit more. It gives it a lot of depth. I absolutely adore this fragrance, even my mom and best friend couldn’t get enough of it.

I blind bought this due to the notes and some of the reviews I’ve seen on here. I was looking for something similar to OG Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy when it smelled like blueberry/plum pie with a deep vanilla background - now it smells like blueberry/plum candy with no baked good/vanilla background (which isn’t bad but I loved the original so much) and this is not a dupe but it’s giving me what I was looking for but just a bit more ‘grown up’, more sexy. It’s more syrupy and perhaps reminds me of some kind of dark fruit liqueur. I am absolutely in love with this scent! It is GORGEOUS! Reminds me of syrupy fruitchoulis - how deep and sweet it is. For the first hour or two, it’s syrupy and jammy - still with the vanilla/tonka baked goods vibe with a more sexy twist. Then it’s less syrupy, like you have almost eaten all the plum pie filling and you’re left with the yummy crust. There’s still fruitiness but it’s just less syrupy and more soft. If you’re looking for a sexy, less ‘juvenile’ blueberry/plum/dark fruit pie scent, this is it!

I can't believe I have been ignoring this perfume for the past few years. I recently got a mini size bottle I bought online and dabbed it on paper the first time I got it, and it smelled so bad on paper I thought the fragrance was spoiled. I put it away. And for some reason this week, decided to grab it again and try it on skin and OMG, this is a GOURMAND DREAM. At first I thought this smelled exactly like Black Opium. I am a BO lover, so I wasn't mad about that. But then I started feeling like a fruity sweetness, like a Raspberry note, which is not mentioned here, but could be the Litchi or plum? This to me smells like 40% Black Opium-60% Ralph Lauren Beyond Romance. This is sweet and changes throughout the day. It gets fresh, and then creamy, and then even lactonic I could say, but it always stays caramely in all its phases. It has an AMAZING projection and Longevity, this lasts hours, and if sprayed on clothes even more. I fell in love so hard that I already ordered a Full size bottle of this.

Genuinely, I cannot stop sniffing my arm. I sprayed this on just to try some stuff out, it's been a while since I've gotten a new frag and I've been kinda feeling down lately so I thought I would cheer myself up with tester strip therapy. But I didn't think I'd actually find something I'd like and want to have! First off, the opening (on me) is a little bit bitter or medicinal, for lack of better words, but that fades away quickly and it becomes the juiciest vanilla eveerrrr! So edible and alluring! I only sprayed it once on my wrist and it took quite a while to fade away too, so performance is a-ok. It's super addicting. Once you get a whiff it's really not enough, you keep sniffing it again to get more. Maybe it's the creamy/juicy/smokey combo of plums and tonka bean, but it's unique and delicious; totally mouthwatering. Probably perfect for a date during a cool October night, or for curling up inside on a snow day. Perfectly cuddly but also sexy. Right amount of boozey-fruit.

Nostalgic! My mom is a master pie baker .. the flakiest homemade crust, the freshest fruit fillings. And, as long as I can remember, she’s made the pies for Thanksgiving dinner .. usually a pumpkin, an apple, and a blueberry-apple. I have the fondest memories of waking up on Thanksgiving morning to the smell of those sweet, juicy fruit fillings burning on the bottom of the hot oven, emitting the most delicious burnt sugar/charred marshmallow/roasted fruit scent. (If you’ve baked a fruit pie before, homemade or premade/frozen, you know that keeping the filling INSIDE of the crust is difficult, and there will be bubblage!) JC Fever reminds me of that .. After the citrusy top, the remainder of the wear is a burnt, fruity syrup with creamy floral undertones. That’s why this fragrance is my Thanksgiving fragrance, and that’s why Fever will always have a special place in my heart.

It was love at first sniff. To me, this is like the younger sister of black opium. It is lighter and friendlier. It is a great everyday scent. The only downside for me is its longevity. Maybe I am just going scent blind, but In an 8-hour work day, I have re-applied this at least 3 times. Usually, I go scent blind to whatever lingers on my chest, especially if it is strong, but on my wrist, I can always smell if something is there. After three hours, it's gone. Poof. I think it benefits having sister scents where one lasts and is eternal and one is quick and light. The benefit of a less-lasting perfume is that I can switch it up after getting off work before going out, and it won't clash. As for the notes, It is plum lychee forward, then dries down to a flower medley supported by a sultry coffee spice.

I sampled Fever at Ulta the other day. I think their bottle was spoiled because my little splash bottle smells a lot better. This is a love for me. I think I prefer this to Black Opium and Bon Bon, but I'd have to do a side by side comparison to know for sure. I may even prefer to Poison Girl and Girl of Now, but again would have to compare. So I will have to do further testing, but right now I am crushing on this dark, sweet, sexy scent. I like how the litchi and grapefruit add a little freshness and the orchid and heliotrope add a creamy powder effect. I own D&G Pour Femme and I smell absolutely no similarities. That is lighter and more floral and fruity, this is more amber and oriental I'm still deciding what designer oriental I am going to buy a full bottle of, but this is at the top of my list.

Lovely sugary vanilla that sparkles like snow and sounds like an echo of christmas pastries. Very pleasant since its first minutes on the skin. The blend is hard to describe, but vanilla is unmistakably the most prominent. Hazelnut note and tonka beans are also noticeable and giving the scent its sweet warmth. Plum and grapefruit are low in volume and refresh the sweet mist. There is also a note reminiscent of coffee in the background. From the florals the abstract orchid is the strongest, with a shadow of sugary jasmine. It is very girly, flirty, but at the same time not juvenile. It is timeless and versatile. Even people disliking sweet scents should like it, because it is just a memory of sweet delights. In winter it is rather shy and lovely and fragile like glass ornaments.

my package was outside for a few hours, when i unwrap my perfume it was a bit hot, the bottle was a bit hot, i tried it right away but ill need to try it again in a few days. my first impression was a strange feeling of familiarity, and i quickly got why, i have Zara Gardenia wich is similar BUT not as well blended and not as creamy , i also think this is a little similar to the Black Opium, Wich the 3 really Share the Orange blossom, coffee and vanilla. im still testing, feels a bit heavy on the sweet for my taste still, i like it, but im not sure ill be reaching for this one often. Edit: oh its so much better today, the heat must have messed it a bit yeasterday, im so glad i blind bought this one.

Oh how I yearn for my own bottle.... Truthfully, Im not a fruity-scent person; they usually smell bad on me but this perfume smelled SO YUMMY. I tested it for a couple months and i found it to be very lichee forward, the tonka and sandalwood stood out to me as well and those are some of my favorite bases in perfumes. It was fruity and yummy yet VERY sexy!!! I remember the projection being really good and I got lots of compliments on it. I'll make another review when I buy my own bottle but this made me want to branch out and find more sexy-fruity scents for sure. I found it really surprising that this scent was so polarizing in the comments!

Wow...I ́m impressed with the quality and the smell of this perfume! I like it a lot! If you are searching for a young, cool, syrupy-sexy-cozy gourmand...than you found it here! This is very versatile..you can wear it to stay cozy at home, or for a night out, or just to enjoy your day with friends...perfect for romantic occasions. I ́m wearing it unmder 34 degrees...and it doesn ́t suffocate me, ́cause it ́s smooth, creamy in a certain way elegant too. The flowery vanilla here is PERFECT! It projects strong 2 hours upon my skin and longevity of 8 hours. This was a blind and I ́m so happy! Really Great!

This is a GORGEOUS fragrance! I received a sample of this in the mail a few days ago & I instantly loved it the second I sprayed it. I went and bought a bottle today because I used up the entire vial already. I get a dark, rich, syrupy plum, vanilla, tonka, sandalwood and vanilla orchid. Fever is rich, dark and incredibly sexy. Such a stunning fragrance for winter. Lasting power is great on this as I can smell it on myself at night after applying in the morning. Does have a similar “vibe” as Bonbon & Britney’s In Control Curious. I do own both but I love Fever the best out of the 3.

The coffee and hazelnut notes are very prominent to my nose. Wearing this reminds me of enjoying a hazelnut latte and a fruity pastry at a local bakery in the dead of winter.... Perhaps the perfumes of the women at the table adjacent to mine are wafting in the air as well. There's a lot going on in the note pyramid with Fever, but it works! I also own and love Black Opium Le Parfum, and the two scents are quite different from one another. Fever is more youthful and fruity, while BOLP is more deep and floral. I do agree with others in that their vibes are vaguely similar though. :)

On my skin, Fever is a sweet vanilla scent with a soft powdery almond flavor. Lightweight, gentle, smooth and soothing, Fever is great to use at bedtime. It lasts about 3 hours, fading into a very close to skin scent. The grapefruit and litchi notes give it a light airy feeling while deep dark plum and toasted tonka bean add a full bodied rich touch. Deliciously feminine, not too sweet, Fever is not offensive. Wearable in all seasons, day or night. Though I have to respray often during the day or evening, I love this perfume ! It's addictive and beautiful.

Does anyone know if this has been reformulated recently? I haven't had it for a few years but I just recently got a bottle because it was such a good price I couldn't pass it up, especially since I remember loving it. Now this time it's extremely lighter than I remember and it lasts as if it were an EDT version. It still smells beautiful but not the same as I remember at all. I could even see myself using this in summer which would have been pretty much impossible with the original bottle I had. Just curious if anyone else has had this experience as well?

I never understood what more experienced perfume wearers meant by “cozy” and “best worn in winter” until I was gifted this beautiful fragrance. It’s absolutely suited for Autumn and winter months due to the heaviness of the scent. Tried wearing it in the summer and it was very sickly. Beautiful sweet scent and it’s become like a “comfort” scent for me if that makes any sense. I like to wear it when I need to feel a bit better about myself especially at night or on nights out. Strong, creamy and sweet and the bottle is very cute too.

I personally love this fragrance, and it holds a special place in my heart. It was my signature scent for many years before I discovered the world of niche perfumes. I wore it daily for a long time and it’s a very modern, that feels sweet, floral, elegant, sexy, youthful, and smells incredibly refined. It always brings compliments and has great lasting power on the skin. I still keep a bottle in my collection and truly enjoy wearing it from time to time. For me, it’s the best from the Jimmy Choo line — a solid 10/10 in its category.

I’ve had this for a while and it’s not my most reached for, but it’s a nice perfume to get me through the day. I don’t get a lot of the notes - the plum and vanilla are the most prominent for me. I do enjoy it and the performance is great for what I paid (although I got a very good deal) - if I wear it to bed, I can smell it clearly the next morning. It’s a decent perfume, very wearable and inoffensive. Not the star of my collection, not distinguishable, but a good option for days when you need an easy choice.

I agree with other reviewers that this is similar to Bon Bon but for me personally this one is so much better because it's fresher and zestier due to the grapefruit note. I smell the grapefruit straight away and it's soo pretty! I don't really like Bon Bon, it's too sandalwoody sweet. This is sweet too but fresher and fruiter, longevity is good as well. The dry down is heavenly on my skin: fruity chocolatey and very slightly floral. I love this one and will certainly repurchase.

I get a rich plum pie with the perfect light touch of florals, especially in the first hour or two. This stage is addictive. It lasts a pretty long time, but it definitely becomes a bit more of a “generic sweet 2010s perfume" smell in the last few hours of its longevity. I can understand why some people consider this a “going out” scent, but that plum pie vibe is so cozy to me that it’s more of a staying in scent in my mind. Delicious for fall and winter.

I have Fever, Girl of Now, Bon Bon and Poison Girl edp on my skin to compare and Fever is my favorite! I think Poison Girl is in 2nd place, that almond note is addictive, but the price is not. Girl of Now is probably my least favorite, but it’s still a good perfume if you’re on a budget. Just thought I’d compare since they’re all a similar vibe. I think the orchid, heliotrope, coffee and hazelnut just make Fever addictive and stand out!

Soft, warm and snuggly. Reminds me of madeleines but it is not a classical gourmand. It has the gentlest sillage but I can feel it on for around 4 hours. It smells like a light version of Euphoria by Klein. Orchid and vanilla sound the strongest on me. Also tonka beans and a bit of plums. It makes me think of snow and fragrant candles. It clings to my scarf, leaving its gentle, delectable fragrance on it. Lasts there 2 days at least.

I really enjoy this scent. I mostly find myself wearing it around the house in the evenings. It is a sweet, very powdery, vanilla to me, with a hint of coffee and stronger hint of hazelnut It is extremely likable and great value for money. Projects for 2 to 3 hours before becoming a skin scent. It’s quite unique and well blended and I can see myself purchasing it again once I go through my current bottle.

This is by far the best perfume I have ever tried on. From the opening to the dry down, it has everything that you would want to smell like on a date night. It smells delicious, just like the notes. The plum, the tonka, the jasmine, the coffee! All the notes are so beautifully done. I can't get enough of it, and neither can my boyfriend ;)

Honestly this one is sooo much better than Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo. This has more of a sweet smell to it and it’s pretty long lasting. The other one (Jimmy Choo) smells more like straight up alcohol and I say this because I tested it out in Macy’s and it was a straight no for me. If you like sweet senses this one won’t disappoint you ☺️.

MY FAVOURITE PERFUME!!! I got given a small sample of this as a gift when I was 13 and I'd always get compliments so I repurchased it at 19 and again every single time I wear I get compliments and 20+ perfumes later it's still my most complemented scent. My roommate has asked me what perfume that is almost every time I wear it!

I was unsure if I needed another sweet scent but bought a smaller bottle on a whim. I am glad I did, on first impression it is a lovely combination of lychee and plum. The scent has quite good longevity and is suitable for night and day in my opinon but will wait till the cooler weather to wear it more.

I don't think this smells like Black Opium, closer to Sofia Vergara Love but still unique. I smell plum, hazelnut and vanilla. I prefer this of the three scents and will be a nice scent this Autumn and Winter. It is not overly sweet or strong. Very nice scent. I am pleasantly surprised.

If you don't like fruity or boozy scents you won't like this, because it literally smells like a beautifully blended fruit cocktail or drink and it's smoothed out and musky with the vanilla and coffee. Let me tell you she's a power house won't go away till clothes are washed I love this

I don't know if my little 4.5ml size of this has gone bad, but all I get is straight baby diaper, diaper wipes, baby powder smell from this.. I'll have to get another sample to make sure because everyone raves about this frag and the notes are soooo good..

Nagyon finom, nőies illat, de szerintem nem túl édes. Pont kellemes azok számára is, akik nem szeretik az émelyítően édes parfümöket. Finom szilvás, rajtam a vanília annyira nem érződik. Főleg télen használatos, nyáron már-már sok lehet. :D

Deep, sweet coffee treat . Smells delicious ! Happy blind buy ! In the smells like section it's going Black Opium and Prada Candy. No. They've got the vibe but they distinctly different. If you like them, I feel you'd enjoy this one t9.

One of my favorites!! The main notes I smell are litchi,plum,vanilla,jasmine and I know it’s not listed but a hint spice/pink pepper!! This is a compliment getter for me and longevity and silage are both moderate on me.

Wow I am absolutely in love with this smell. It is very sweet, fruity, and warm on me. There is nothing sour about this one on me. Goes to really show how much our individual body chemistries differ- wow.

I love this perfume, one of my favourites from Jimmy Choo along with Rose Passion. Fruity, sweet, warm, spicy and dark with a hint of coffee on the dry down. Would only wear Autumn/Winter, day or night.

I love it. Smells like the color purple but warm. I do smell some of the floral notes but its more juicy. For an inexpensive perfume it's great. It doesn't last all day but for 40 bucks who cares.

Spoke with a Jimmy Choo representative via email and they stated that this perfume does NOT contain coffee or hazelnut notes, so I'm confused as to why Fragrantica would have them listed.

If two words word could describe this perfume it’s...RICH and DECEDENT! All you get is plum, tonka and a ton of vanilla! It’s a true Autumn/Wintertime fragrance. So sexy and sweet! ❤️

Beautiful sweet vanilla, coffee and plum. This is what I wanted black opium to smell like, because it has less white florals, and it’s more fruity with the plum. I love it.

Such a underrated scent, absolutely stunning! Don't understand comparisons to Black Opium at all... this one is a powdery, juicy plum, heliotrope and vanilla scent.
