Jimmy Choo Man Aqua

In all seriousness, Jimmy Choo Man Aqua is one of the nicest aquatic fragrances out there. This stuff smells really good. It opens up with a wonderfully-balanced sweetness – natural, not syrupy... underlined with very natural-smelling salt water notes. The overall impression is a warm weather, coastal Med vibe.... think Portofino or the Amalfi Coast. The oceanic / salt water elements remain natural through the dry-down. Really nice. Performance is about average, but it's easy to refresh with another spray or two, and it smells fantastic. And for the price you won't be breaking the bank. So in sum, it's an excellent aquatic. Definitely a step up from cheapies like Nautica Voyage, and I actually like this more than Prada Luna Rossa Ocean. NOTE -- It's probably more suited for pleasantly warm weather, rather than burning hot or humid weather.... In which case you might want something more fresh.

I picked up Jimmy Choo Man Aqua in 2023, and it’s easily become one of the most complimented fragrances in my rotation. It strikes that perfect balance between fresh and masculine, opening with a crisp marine vibe layered over warm spice and citrus that keeps things grounded and alluring. What really stands out is the performance. I apply it directly to my bare chest and neck after moisturizing, and it lasts the entire workday, from 7:00 to 3:00, without fading or needing a reapplication. It’s subtle enough not to overpower a room but potent enough to make people lean in and ask what you’re wearing. I’ve also had multiple women tell me they can still smell it on their skin, or even their sheets, hours after we’ve parted ways. That kind of lasting impression is rare, especially for something at this price point

I am extremely happy with this freshie! Simple and does what it's supposed to do for a summertime fragrance. I don't need this lasting long so I have no issues with the longevity being weak. I got this just a few days ago and the next morning from purchasing, spritzed myself and ran some errands. It put a smile on my face. After about 3 hours it was extremely close to the skin with no scent trail but when I got home, I reapplied and didn't complain. Full retail for the average person? No, I'd say wait until you can pick it up at rack stores or discounters like JCM Ice. For me though, I had to get it. It was that good! 7/10 for it being a very good scent and does the job for what I need it do. Freshen me up on these warm days while I'm out and about.

When I first smelt this I did think "Yeah another blue type vibe" BUT It was definitely standing out as something that people would love. It took me a while to actually purchase, but the first wearing in was in Lanzarote & a random Spanish lady told her college to tell me that I smelt great. First complement I've gotten abroad haha! Yeah it's simple, but it's very pleasant. I've had a few compliments wearing this now. Just a solid aquatic freshy that is perfect for summer. I nice easy grab. Performance isn't as bad as people say, but it's not great.... Maybe a solid 4-6 hours. The first 2 it definitely projects pretty strong! I'd 100% re-purchase when I run out

This was has been on my shelf for a while. Something hit me to try it during our recent February warm spell. I was searching for the perfect blue aqua ocean freshness without overdone citrus. Something unlike Versace Por Homme which is too much citrus. Voyage is too much aldehydes and Hawas is to bubble gummy and the YSLs are too sweet. This one does it with grapefruit which does not induce a headache like other freshies and not to sweet. It to me is better than a gym or out of the shower cent. It has staying power on my skin 15 hours later. I think this one shines during spring and maybe fall. I will keep rotating it in to see if I continue to love it.

I see a lot of people writing that it's ''just another blue fragrance'' but I'm out here on the internet in fragrance videos, begging people to give me a fragrance that smells as close to it as possible with better performance and nada, nill, nothing. All whiffs. Lol. I love this scent man... I just can't stop sniffing myself when I spray it. It's just so fresh and good... dang. If you like fresh aquatic scents... this has it's own twist on the way it smells and it's divine... do yourself a favor and get a sample/decant and put it on skin for a few days... You're welcome. (Yes the performance sucks... but while it's still working... oh baby)

Don't listen to the frag head dudes who call this basic or whatever. These are the same men who drench themselves in sweet fragrances to the point where they smell like women. This is masculine fresh perfection. The only drawback is the underwhelming performance. I get about 3-4h and twice that on clothes. But I also don't want to wear fragrances that are nuclear and choke everyone out 24/7. I like the idea of having a choice to either re-apply or go with something else later on in the day. This is just fantastic. Aquatic fresh and clean pleasure to the nose. Must sniff if you love freshies like I do. 9/10 only because of the longevity.

Very fresh scent. blind buy safe if you like fresh scents. I would say extremely mass appealing. My only problem is the longevity but its to be expected. Overall for a summer scent i would rate it a good 9/10. The fragrance is almost perfected but like i mentioned the performance is just a bit lacking, its such a luxurious fresh scent that its not strong, be ready to have a decant on the side if your trying to smell like this all day.

Jimmy Choo Man Aqua is my favorite fragrance of all time. It combines a solid masculine freshness, with a watery marine feel that smells so nice to me. I could spray this on me 20 times and not get a headache, which is nice but means it doesn't perform well. I got my bottle for $35, and I could absolutely see myself ordering a second bottle before the end of 2026. Smell - 10/10 Performance - 4/10 Price - 8/10 Overall - 7/10

Divine scent. For anyone who adores freshies/aquatic scent profiles, this is literally perfection. If only it performed properly, it would be a 10/10. Definitely going to buy like 10-20 bottles as a back up at some point in the near future... I gotta make sure I'm stocked up for life. This is just THAT good imo. F the performance, the scent is magical.

I am new to fragrances and this is the first one I purchased. I probably paid more than I should have for it but was expecting that at the mall. I love this scent as it is a fresh and clean smell. The sillage is good for about an hour or so and then it becomes mostly a skin scent. But overall I still love this kind of scent. 8.5/10

JIMMY CHOO- Man Aqua JC-Man Aqua is such a pleasant mass appealing scent for spring and summer months. This fragrance does wonders to my skin in the heat. JC-Man Aqua can also serve as a signature office scent in my opinion. This fragrance is blind buy worthy and the best JIMMY CHOO in the line up.

DAILY DRIVER. It's fresh, it's masculine, it's a crowd pleaser. Nothing outstanding, but that's what I like. Smells almost like a fresh beach. I will say it smells gross if you re apply later in the day. Applying right out of the shower is the way to go. Definitely buy at a discounter.

Had it a year and a bit ago. Used it up, it was nice. Got another bottle a week back, it's still nice. Fresh, aquatic, and a very versatile fragrance. One for the gym, one for the office or just lounging around. If you don't have it, get it.

What a good cheapie!! Great aquatic! So easy to wear. I can wear this anywhere and everywhere at any time. I definitely recommend. Signature scent worthy. Only downside is that it does not last long at all. Overspray and you will be good

The best Jim Choo scent for sure. Light, breezy, clean, aquatic. You will smell like a fresh and clean man. Feels like a clean blue medium blue fragrance. Not dark blue or light blue but medium blue. It cruises feelin fresh simple as.

This is the type of scent women love on a man, but its a blue and an EDT so doesn't last long, maybe 1 hour unless sprayed on clothes. this is an easy reach, especially for the price you are getting great value.

This would be up there with Sauvage, BDC and Dylan Blue if the performance was better, scent is amazing but doesn’t last long at all, that’s the biggest downside this has.

Best of the JC Man flankers in terms of scent, longevity and sillage. I could smell this all day long and not get bored. A frag for all seasons for all men

Scent is a little generic-very similar to many Aqua's but I still really like it. Just wish it would last longer as this one seems to fade pretty quickly

Sampled this at an Ulta and also at a Dillard’s on another occasion. It does smell pretty nice. It sort of reminds me a bit of A&F’s First Instinct Together. I make that comparison not because it smells exactly like it, but because they both seem to be a blend of YSL Y with the Invictus DNA. The difference to me is that Jimmy Choo Man Aqua focuses more on the the Y DNA, whereas First Instinct Together focuses more on the Invictus. I like this one better than First Instinct Together, but there’s enough of a similarity to my nose that it just feels a little too redundant for me to buy it, as well as the fact that I already own other Y clones. I’m not a huge fan of how unoriginal this is, but it really isn’t bad when you take it for what it is. It would be a good choice for someone who’s just starting their collection and doesn’t already have something with this DNA, but other than that, I would pass. Its performance isn’t good, either. It seemed to be gone after about 3 hours, but I also tend to struggle with longevity as a general rule. For what it’s worth, my wife was a big fan of this when she smelled it, but she also said it smelled very familiar.

Smells nicer than most of my cheapies (go figure). Out of three flankers I smelled at JCPenney, Aqua, Blue, and Intense, I preferred this one the most *at the time. I like sweet smelling fragrances which is why this was my top choice out of these, but I will say after wearing for a day the sweetness kinda turns a little too synthetic for me after a few hours. (*Edit: I just smelled my samples of JC Man and Man Intense; I don’t think Aqua is necessarily sweeter than these, just a different sweet. The citrus makes it brighter than the other two, a touch more bitter or zingy in the opening). Overall it’s nice, not particularly unique but still a great scent. It’s almost like a Nautica Voyage twist on the original JC Man. The aquatic sweetness also reminds me of that in Prada Luna Rossa Ocean. Perhaps there are better alternatives for this style but I’d say it’s worth the money if buying on discounters. In order of dominant adjectives I’d describe it as: - aquatic - blue - sweet - fresh - clean - citrusy - woody - spicy

I’ve never been a fan of this type of blue fragrance. The other day, I visited Target and noticed it. I decided to give it a try, and even though I’ve smelled it before, I still like it. It’s a classic masculine, summery, aquatic, and barbershop scent. It’s not particularly unique or groundbreaking, but it’s a safe choice. I’m sure many of us have smelled something similar before. While I still enjoy it, I’m not likely to wear it regularly. I have better alternatives. If you’re new to colognes or young and unsure of where to start, this might be a good option. It’s not overly exciting, but it’s not bad either. Do I like it? Yes. Would I wear it? Most likely. Worth the price? Yes, I think. Did it impress me when I tried it? Yes. Longevity? It lasts about 4 hours. Overall rating: 6/10. In conclusion, it’s not a bad fragrance, but it’s just another generic blue fragrance that’s good for beginners..

Just noting this because my boo liked it.. Not my thing, it was alright, but I didn’t have that 😍 reaction. It’s not bad, modern masculine scent that doesn’t lean too much in any one direction. A little blue, a little fruity, a little floral, a little earthy. My favorite part is the grapefruit and the moss. Moss is tip-toeing its way into being trendy in fragrances. We need something new for our base notes, don’t we?! Well anyway, this is very inoffensive, for any age, any season, any time of day. Would be fine for fragrance beginners, especially since it’s an EDT, or a dumb reach for seasoned fragheads. What I think is, I got my man started on Angels’ Share, Black Phantom, Tobacco Vanille, Lost Cherry.. I think he’s tired of the heavy, dark, gourmand frags. Lately I see him testing out clean frags when we are out and about. Cute to see him branching out.

This is a decent designer fragrance overall for the price. The opening is fantastic. Very fresh. The grapefruit and sea notes blend very nicely with the clary sage. The cardamom is almost non-existent. That fresh, attractive opening quickly dies after a few minutes and you are left with the usual designer moss and patchouli drydown which needs to end at some point in time because the patchouli is always overdone. For the price I recommend this one for spring and summer for a quick freshen up type of scent but it doesnt last long or project at all so dont expect to smell it long. If I had to compare this to any fragrance I would say this is a weaker version of Polo 67 EDT but this doesn't have that wierd,cheap goldenrod drydown. Just because of the great opening and low price, Ill give this one a solid 6.5/10

No, this is not a strong performer. It doesn't last forever or projects like a monster. But should it? I'd say no. It's a fresh and light aquatic, that smells really pleasant. The opening is fantastic in my opinion and the dry down of patchouli and sea notes are better and more interesting than most light blue fragrances. Don't buy this thinking you'll be blown away by the complexity or that it will turn heads and command attention from people in you vicinity. It's not that kind of scent. I bought it to fill the role of a light, inoffensive dumb reach fragrance for the summer. Something you can throw on without a second thought. Something that simply smells good if someone gets close enough to catch a whiff, and that will offend absolutely no one. It fills that role very well.

No, there's not anything super special or "niche" about it but I don't think that's at all the image this fragrance is trying to convey. Designer fragrances get crapped on from most users on this site but not every scent needs to be an acquired taste or super niche formula of realistic animal musk. This is a very pleasing and absolutely enjoyable fresh aquatic fragrance and a great value for the price. I swear there's the tiniest bit of Y DNA in this with the sweet opening before the aquatics kick in. I don't get much of the base notes but then again this fragrance doesn't exactly last very long. Again, for the price this is a great choice to have on hand for a quick, fresh option for day-to-day wear when you don't want to use a more expensive or polarizing option.

I got this as a gift for father's day and I'm very thankful for the gift but the performance of this fragrance is very weak!!! The smell of the fragrance is awesome!!! I get a heavy moss salty scent on this one. I got a full bottle in June and I'm more than half way through it because I have to use so much in order for this fragrance to perform. But when I layer it with a scented body oil it lasts a little longer!! Plus I hit my clothes with it as well and I get about 8 hours out of this when I modify the application of the fragrance. Good scent but not worth retail!!! When I see it on discount I will buy a bottle but I don't think it's worth 95+ Dollar 💵

My very first impression- gross. Smelled sour and salty (and not sour in the citrusy way- sour in the dairy-gone-bad way). But that faded away after about ten seconds, and what I was left with was an unexpectedly refreshing beachy-fresh scent. The saltiness is still there, but way toned down; it's sort of an "afterscent" that usually gets drowned out on the initial sniff by the sweeter notes. I'm surprised more people don't see this as a nighttime scent; to me, this would be perfect for dinner at a restaurant on the Gulf after the sun goes down. Smells like spring break in a bottle.

Thisnis the typical masculine smell of the 90s. That fresh but masculine smell of aftershaves, after Cool Water and Eternity success. You have the masculine moss and patchouli (not partivular poping out but they re definitely there) in the base and some aromatics in the mid (clary sage). The fresh oceanic vibe it's not calone or something laike that. Its dihydromyrcenol that Cool water used 34 years ago. Not unique, not special or spectacular but it's done right. Maybe some echos of Invictus aqua/legend spirit in the background. A good dumb reach for summer if you find it for cheap.

I tried this again today and this time, it smells like there's a pineapple accord in there. I'm not sure if this is supposed to be an interpretation of a more well known fragrance but I suppose the pineapple could've been carried over from the original JC man (it's a long time since I tried that) or from something like Coach for Men, to which the original has been compared. I do still get that YSL 'Y' line vibe but not quite so much as before, it's in that style of fragrances though and isn't as super aquatic as the name and bottle may suggest. A decent, mass appealing scent.

This is an incredible release, the low rating is not justified here it's a really nice scent. It actually reminds me a lot of cool water intense but without the coconut in it, it does have a coconut smell to it though just it's a lot more fresh than cool water intense. This has a nice sweet and fresh balance, actually I think woman are gonna go crazy for this on a guy it's definitely got that sex appeal to it which woman love on men. But I also consider this unisex because and woman could wear this too

Jimmy Choo Man Aqua is a fragrance that deserves more hype, a great spring and summer scent that is pretty unique. The citrus and cardamom notes blend together perfectly giving this fragrance a fresh and sexy touch. The dry down brings out some green notes that balances everything out. I bought this on vacation in Las Vegas and this takes me back every time I wear it. It's got moderate performance and honestly a good deal for what it goes for at discounters. I get 5-6 hours on my skin.

For the price, this is an easy purchase. Clean, fresh and mass appealing. Salty grapefruit squeezed over sage w/patch offering complexity. A manly summer aquatic. Longevity is 5 hours...projection is only decent in first hour or two. Any occasion in Summer...would make a great office scent. Overall, doesn’t excel at anything but certainly checks almost every box for a summer DNA. Only negative might be performance, but for the price, you can overspray or reapply.

Smelled it at Ulta and I don’t get the hate from it. If this came out before ADG Profondo or YSL Y everyone would be all over this. It’s a great smelling scent but redundant if you already own a blue like Profondo, Y or Invictus. But if you want something you can use up without worry so you don’t burn through those you can easily get this. I’ll definitely pick this up eventually when it goes on a good sale but for now at full price I’ll pass.

This is going to be nothing new for most people but it does smell great, at least if you like fragrances such as Legend Spirit, Invictus Aqua, YSL Y and Ralph's Club. Update; definitely most reminiscent (to my nose) of the YSL Y line, plus the others I mentioned to a lesser extent, that vibe, not a typical 'aquatic' scent despite the name. Lasting power was pretty good for me, a little above average, certainly not weak.

Just bought this today, love that the grapefruit and watery notes are the most prominent thing in this fragrance. Strikes me as a more masculine version of Nautica Voyage, although with less of those airy notes. Fragrance stayed on my skin for a good hour or two and isn’t loud, you could spray a lot of this and it won’t offend anyone you’re near. Otherwise, a cool many freshie! 7/10.

I cry tears for this, such a good smell on paper and skin for everyone. If you wish to purchase this blind, I strongley reccomend it. However, theres a massive consequence with this. Its performance! This does radiate smell for an 1hr max and then becomes a skin scent. Get it for anything you might need to cover up with a scent for the gym or class.

I quite enjoy this scent. It is a fresh aquatic scent with a slight hint of banana and pineapple from what I smell. This fragrance's sillage is quite good as I have received compliments while wearing it. However, it has very weak longevity giving you 2 hours on average from my experience. Beautiful scent, grapefruit and cardamom are intoxicating in the opening. A nice subtle marine scent it becomes, it’s perfect for short occasions bc the longevity is abysmal does not last long at all, on skin or clothes. I would have kept it if it performed longer. It’s cheap and the pressurized atomizer is def nice tho. 6/10 for that reason.

Nice smelling casual summer fragrance. Does not last very long but is a good option for the gym, sport, and the beach. Very light citrusy ocean scent but nothing special. This was a gift so I'm happy with having it, though I think there are definitely better aquatic scents out there if you're buying.
