Jimmy Choo Man Parfum

Top: Bergamot and Black Pepper Middle: Lavender and orange blossom Base: Ambery Wood and Patchouli This fragrance is rather complex and even the above notes that are missing from Fragrantica as of May 4, 2026 are not complete. Product literature for this new fragrance shows a slice of lemon, lavender blossoms, and amber. To my nose, this fragrance is a very woody and amber masculine scent with a heavy dose of the ISO-E-Super family of woody notes. However, that amber woody base has been layered with popular fruity and even slightly gourmand elements. On opening, this presents bergamot and lemony notes, but these notes aren't as zesty as in some other fragrances. Though not listed in the scent notes, there is vanilla in this from vanillin and coumarin. This softens the zesty edge from the citrus elements. To my nose, the vanilla and almond-like aroma from the coumarin warms and softens the bergamot so that the opening has a slight gourmand element like an almond-lemon poundcake. At this stage, the patchouli comes across to my nose as chocolatey. The florals are sweet. As this dries down, the amber woods come on strong moving from a more youthful, slightly unisex opening to a woody masculine profile. This is a rather complex fragrance, and the complexity creates a balanced fragrance that can be worn in almost any season or occasion, though I would not wear it on the hottest humid days of summer. It could however be worn at night during summer. This should be mass appealing providing traditionally masculine character with the woods but giving the younger audience the sweetness and a touch of gourmand that is in vogue.

The note breakdown on fragrantica is not complete. It is missing the lavender, amberwoods & orange blossom based off of the notes on Macy's & Dillard's. Nonetheless, I think this is pretty darn good. I just sampled it today on skin at my local Dillard's & it falls in the realm of The Most Wanted edp/ parfum, but not redundant in my opinion. It is more oriental, fresh & less sweet which makes it easy to wear year round considering it is not too dense than those two. I love that this does not have any vanilla, tonka, or woods as it would have fallen in that "typical designer" warm, spicy, aromatic type of scent (not that there is anything wrong with that, just gets a bit boring smelling almost the same thing most of the time). Try this as it could possibly be an under the radar fragrance. I will definitely be picking up a bottle, I love it from a first impression.

I smelled Jimmy Choo Man Parfum at a department store a few weeks ago and spent time comparing it side-by-side with Jimmy Choo Man Extreme. Extreme has that fresh, spicy, mass-appealing DNA that smells a lot like Dior Sauvage — which isn’t a bad thing at all, it just wasn’t what I was looking for. Jimmy Choo Man Parfum feels noticeably more sophisticated and refined. The opening is vibrant and inviting, the dry-down is smooth and elegant, and the longevity is excellent — it easily lasts all day (true parfum concentration performance). I’m extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a modern masculine scent with more character and depth than the typical crowd-pleasers.

wow, this is easily my favorite jimmy choo ever, start to finish it smells amazing, im a sucker for apple notes and this definitely delivers, i would argue that this is a top 25 designer ever, not super synthetic, great fresh masculine fruit scent with enough depth and backbone to last long and vanilla that just dries down into heaven, they did really good on this

pretty gas ngl, smells a bit like azzaro’s forever wanted elixir just a bit smoother and slightly better scent profile, My gf perfers this over the azarro and i also agree with her, im gonna let this macerate for 2 weeks, but off the first spray its pretty good ngl, 8/10

Interesting masculine gourmand scent! It opens with the fresh floral fruit notes with a hint of pepper then dries down to the lavender and amber. Not great for a hot summer day but does wonders for a fresh night out. Added in to my date night perfume rotation.

Guys please don’t review bomb this? This is super nice and will probably be dirt cheap compared to ysl in the next few months.. gives of 90% of absolu yet seems like it may be easier to rock.. that’s my intial take from first test.

Tried out a testor of this and will be getting a whole bottle. Very clean fresh scent with good performance. Unfortunately it is still kinda pricey but I love it.

I got this one not too long ago as a gift and I really dig it. A peppery fresh scent with some sweetness, and a great all-rounder.

Its my favorite one right now. Does anyone else feels it smells too similar to Paradigme Le Parfum?

Smells like JPG Le Beau Le Parfum but cleaner.

A mix between ralphs club new york and YSL myslf.... this definitely has the blackcurrant and musk from ralphs club new york but then it's got the same lavender and orange blossom smell that Myslf has got. Redundant if you own either of them, but if you can't decide between myslf and ralphs club new york then this is the perfect middle ground you get the best of both worlds

The opening was really good and piqued my interest. As it dried down it seemed to morph into geranium and just stayed there, it felt too simple.

This is definitely more of a feminine take on the DNA. This is gourmand and not my taste.

Sprayed my wrist at the mall today and hours later this stuff is STILL projecting off me. For a JC fragrance I’m honestly so impressed with the fragrance itself along with its longevity and sillage. The simple note breakdown isn’t doing the scent profile justice, there’s a delicious tempered sweetness present but overall still a masculine and smooth fragrance. I know JC isn’t exactly a brand of perfumes that make the hype monsters go crazy, but this stuff is deserving imo. Like it’s absolutely DELICIOUS, I don’t get the reviews under me saying it smells simple...like yea it’s something nobody can dislike and it’s not a boring citrus freshie either. Absolute home run from JC here like I keep catching whiffs and can’t believe how good it smells. Go give it a test for yourself is what I recommend! Okay reading the reviews under me I totally believe it’s the Apple I’m smelling, like a caramelized apple but not over the top sweet at all. Honestly incredibly well blended stuff.

I tried this in store, and realized this DNA already exists within the Jimmy Choo line. Urban Hero Gold is strikingly similar, there's no listen notes of fruit in the parfum, but there's that bubble gum maybe pineapple fruitiness in there. Not mature but not juvenile either. It has good longevity, but a lot of these new releases are either borrowing from each other, or releasing variations of old DNA. The Le Beau Narcissse for example took the backbone from Le Male Pride Edition and built upon that. Regardless Jimmy Choo Parfum 6.5/10
