It's actually- TOP: Coconut water & Frangipani Heart: Jasmine Flower & Orchid BASE: Sandalwood & Vanilla When you first spray this you get a truly refreshing blast of sweet coconut water & creamy frangipani. Imagine you're in a fushia pink tube at a tropical themed waterpark and you're relaxing as you allow the lazy river to carry you away. You're in a bikini and you have some type of milky conditioner in your hair. You're wearing your gucci sunglasses and you've left your worries at the office- you're on vacation. The mid is gorgeous as well. You have the orchid and it lends a buttery aspect to the fragrance. The jasmine flower is not overwhelming at all. It sits way in the background. If anything, it adds a slight greenness to the whole creaminess aspect. This perfume to my nose feels super lactonic and creamy even tho it's not coconut milk in here its coconut water. The flowers may have something to deal with the lactonicness because to me frangipani petals are super soft and velvety. The base lasts sooo long on me. Sandalwood and vanilla. I get the woody vanilla at the end and it lasts on me overnight into the morning. (I use this too for bed) .. it's such an underrated gem . Also completely misunderstood. It just gives me carefree vibes, I'm on holiday, I'm on vacation, I treat myself, I take care of myself, I'm relaxing- leave that shit at the office - type of vibes. It's fun, creamy, sweet, tropical, perfect for a hot day, it makes me feel fresh after I apply it. It's just lovely, i slept on it when it first came about because i cant stomach "Rose" scents and i didnt even bother to try it until recently. On Jimmy's website it states that this is the scent that resembles their interpretation of the French Riviera (don't ask me I need to google that) obviously they intended the word Rose to be the translation of "Pink" Because in French- Rose means pink. So translated theoretically is "pink passion" ...they totally could have thought of 1k different names but - Mmmmmmk. Let's just go with that one and potentially lose out on consumers understanding the concept. Clearly they need to do a rebrand lol. I have a bottle and a back up If you know, you know. For those that get it, get it. ALSO THE NOSE BEHIND THIS IS THE NOSE BEHIND ANOTHER 13 LE LABO. which honestly, I do totally see it.

Jimmy Choo Rose Passion Eau de Parfum carries, in its beautiful pink bottle, a floral and tropical fragrance of great taste, which was created by Nathalie Lorson and whose official olfactory pyramid, declared on the brand's page, lists the following notes: coconut water and frangipani, on top; jasmine and orchid, in the body; sandalwood and vanilla, in the base. I particularly love this type of fragrance! Anyone who knows Bossa (Granado) will immediately identify with it. It also appeals to fans of Light Blue Sun (D&G), the latter being more citrusy, and Terracotta Le Parfum (Guerlain), but this one is much more carnal and heavier. Jimmy Choo Rose Passion Eau de Parfum is tropical in the right measure, without exaggerating the smell of sunscreen – something very common in this type of creation. The frangipani note is charming and of quality, bringing the fruity freshness and the “waxed” aspect of the flower, especially of the coral color (which has a very different perfume than the white one). Here, the coconut water generates a more vegetal effect, and the jasmine helps to give the depth of the white flowers, without going overboard on the indolic side. The result is reminiscent of the smell of poets' jasmine (Jasminum Polyanthum). Finally, the evolution brings a background of great creaminess, in which the sandalwood note is very evident, and the vanilla only adds a light dose of sweetness, extending the durability of the fragrance on the skin, without breaking the proposed tropicality. Jimmy Choo Rose Passion Eau de Parfum is not generic at all. Quite the contrary, it is the type of product that few people like, and most who try it demonstrate a certain resistance. And this is understandable, since accords considered tropical, with a strong presence of frangipani and fruits, are still new in perfumery and have not penetrated the mass market. But those who like it, become loyal and wear it on almost all occasions, as the scented power is high and the fragrance is usually intriguing. On my skin, the performance was very good, but I think Jimmy Choo French Riviera would be a more appropriate name, and the color of the bottle, in a gradient of turquoise tones, would better communicate the inspiration on the Côte d’Azur. Even so, Jimmy Choo Rose Passion deserves attention when passing by a perfume store. I recommend trying it!

No, it does not smell like roses, and maybe it doesn't really smell super "pink" either. Even so, I really don't think this fragrance should be judged by its name!! I've been looking for this sort of fragrance for YEARS. I used to wear Bath and Body Works' "Bright Autumn Blooms" body spray as my signature scent. It was my absolute favorite for years until they discontinued it and never released anything comparable again. To me, this is the closest I've found. It's not perfect, but it's close enough to bring back some nostalgia!! It's hard to even describe how beautiful and unique this smells to me. It's light and sweet and with a touch of florals and slightly tropical, but also deep and creamy and almost spicy. It's complex and rich without overcrowding the notes, which is my pet peeve with some other fragrances. It's unique and interesting and beautiful. As someone described Bright Autumn Blooms on its Fragrantica page, this is like a "spiced warm floral." (I think it leans more coconut than BAB, but in a delicious, warm way.) Personally this fragrance reminds me of autumn and fall, but I plan to wear it year-round. As it dries down, I almost get a bit of Black Opium...? I can't understand those who think it smells like a public bathroom or other awful things-- maybe it just doesn't work with your chemistry? Maybe you got a bad bottle? I can't even imagine. On me, it smells beautiful. I'm so happy to finally have my signature scent back. It's like the hole in my heart was finally filled.

MAY 2025 BOTTLE - AMAZON ***REMINDER TO NEWBIES*** (followed by my review) There seems to be a disturbing trend on here of late, of disparaging unbalanced ramblings of dismissive nonsense and I wondered if they were from people who don't understand how to get the best from perfume.... so here goes... Your perfume will not perform on your dry crusty unwashed skin and your unwashed dirty clothes. You need to hose yourself down and lather up first.... and as soon you get out of your shower or bath, slap on a body oil, then a body cream that matches some of the notes in your perfume. That way, you won't be complaining about it not lasting, not smelling right and my personal favourite observation "I bought a dud... " no you didn't, I digress. Natalie Lorson is throwing it out of the park again, this is a gorgeous fruity, tropical rose scent, a touch of exotic, a touch of coconut, very beautifully blended. It's super uplifting, sparkling, a little intoxicating, flirty and definitely one for the warmer weather. It was a total blind buy for me, I just loved the composition and notes, I can't get enough tropical rose scents at the moment, it's at the point of obsession. During the last year this fragrance became a staple in my collection, strangely enough, we had a rocky start. I bought Rose Passion in the middle of last summer because I didn't own any beach type of fragrance yet and I thought it was essential to have one. I tested it in the store and I bought it rather quickly considering the low price. (I bought it from a discounter) I opened the fragrance at home and I still remember the coconut smelled like molde to my nose for the first few days. I was worried if I wasted my money so I barely touched the fragrance until the fall. I started liking it during that time, there was something fruity and bubblegummy about it and the coconut became much more palatable. What I mostly got was fruity frangipani and vanillic coconut with a bubblegum undertone and I like that. Fast forward to January and some kind of magic happened in the cold weather. I realised that it's full bodied, sweet and strong sillage was really not working for me in the warm weather. But it's so comforting in the cold. The jasmine started to show itself, the whole composition became more floral, clean and merged so beautifully with the coconut While it's warm and rounded base remains the same. This fragrance comforts me and cheers me up whenever I am stressed out and need a little mood booster. I am seriously considering to repurchase whenever I run out.
