It manages to evoke a traditional Indian attar feel with the leather and slight barnyard vibes one typically associates with Assam oud but is blended so masterfully that the chocolate and musk dampens the sharpness of those elements and creates a singular whole that is sensual, sexy and powerful. This is indie perfumery at its finest, daring and unapologetic, powerful but not loud, simple in composition but complex to the senses, rare ingredients blended by a modern master perfumer that demands much from the wearer. A very rich and Opulent blend of cocoa and oud right off the top, and then as it dries down, it softens up a bit and I get more spices and sweet honey notes. This is an extremely well made fragrance that is in the similar composition as Russian Oud II by Areej. If you like big bold chocolatey oud, you will love this one.
