Sunset in Havana

Tobacco like you have never smelled before. All the facets of tobacco from the green plant, to the roast, to a cigar is captured stunningly and transitions throughout, first in a green hay like scent and later dries down to a boozy cigar and ambery vibe. The real stunner is that this is not a sweet perfume, and that allows you to appreciate the notes and follow through the transitions. This is not the typical visualizations of Cuba we see in perfumery - the synthetic sweet coconut and boozy rum with acrid tobacco, rather, this is a stripped down version of what the aforementioned images of Havana would actually smell like. A stripped down, simpler perfume from Jinkoh that beguiles you from the raw beauty of the ingredients and the holistic nature of the notes working in tandem. Like all Jinkoh's, this one has amazing quality, rare personal ingredients and top notch blending. The Sunset line is incredible and I have almost all of them from the line. Since I have started with this line and Jinkoh in general, I have almost made no niche purchases - support an independent brand that puts love and care into their perfumery and sources real high quality ingredients without any BS stories, crazy price mark-ups and obnoxious ad-campaigns. Also, might be my favorite Guava note in a perfume.

Immediately transports me back to summer in Cuba, where I‘m watching the sunset at the bar with a Cuban cigar & rum in my hand, how beautiful this was captured. If you ever wanted to have the pure olfactory tobacco experience then this is for you - puristic tobacco from start to finish, the amount of natural tobacco absolute in here is nuts, and I‘m saying this because I own one myself. Liquorish raisins, dried fruits, juicy guava, a bit of smoky spiciness (thinking cumin), hints of nougat, cooling resins, everything harmonizes smoothly. It has nothing in common with those wannabe tobacco perfumes from synthetic mainstream, which mainly consist of an synthetic accord with plum & loads of sweet vanillin. Definitely one of, maybe the best puristic tobacco perfumes, and my favorite next to Teone Reinthals Cuir et Tabac & CinisLabs Whiskey Tobacco Malt.

I need to disagree with @Smelly Diogenes. From the sunset line this is my least favourite. Its not a great smell and performance vice it fades away after 45 min. Saying that, Jinkoh Store is still my favourite indie brand house.
