Rose Gold

*This is an elegant, classy and modern perfume. Is a combination of peach, musk and rose. *Perfect for an evening events, office wear..may be a on date. *I imagine a lady like Scarlett O'Hara would wear this. Young, beautiful and elegant. Soft to moderate sillage & long lasting!

Smells like SPRING - and like a blend of peach tea potpourri sweetened by honey. This perfume is beautiful on. A soft delicate aroma, you notice the chord and not so much the individual notes - (however the notes are a little more noticeable than Incandessence Lotus, by Avon). I have tried the original Jivago perfume before - and this has a similar DNA chord, but I much prefer this blend. This works much better with my chemistry. Pretty perfume on. Nice. Huggable - this perfume draws you in, it is not so bold that it pushes people away. Not terribly original or unique - but one that would be an easy reach on days when you just want to enjoy your perfume and not make a huge statement. This could be a signature perfume, there is something about this that I really like - and could possibly love. This was another one that I trusted my intuition on and found a good price to sample. I have a hunch that this could be a good signature scent. Time will tell! ------------- Fragrantica Blurb - Launched in 2012. Top notes are Peach, Mandarin Orange, Lemon and Anise; middle notes are Rose, Lily-of-the-Valley, Orchid, Ylang-Ylang, Jasmine and White Carnation; base notes are Orris Root, Musk, Sandalwood, Palisander Rosewood, Amber, Cedar and Vanilla. I smell honey (but it is not mentioned in the ingredient list) - and from the list of ingredients mentioned -- more peach, rose, musk - and slightly sandalwood, rosewood, cedar, and vanilla. It is a pretty smooth blend - this doesn't go sharp in any way and the notes are not fighting for attention. You smell the chord. This is BEAUTIFUL ON! ---------- My first impression is that Jivago Rose Gold is a tribute to peach tea in a similar manner that Delina de Marley is a tribute to rose -- (without the sweet and sour composition). Jivago Rose Gold is pure honey sweetness with peach tea -- without the gourmand pastry smells of other well known perfumes. Jivago Rose Gold perfume is very close to Burberry's Body (the original EDP blend, only Body is a bit more sharp, minty green rose - and Jivago Rose Gold is more peachy. ---------- This perfumes wears so well with my chemistry that it is almost non detectable about 30 minutes after spraying. I'm not sure if this completely fades on me, or that this is like some of my other favorite perfumes where I become unable to smell them because this is such a great match with my chemistry. There are a few other perfumes that do this, I can't smell them - but will receive compliments hours after I think they have faded.

This flanker of 24K came to be by removing a bunch of the depth from the original and adding carnation in its place. I adore the original 24K and decided to blind buy this. Regardless of the fragrance, the bottle itself is a work of art. This house excelled in that department. And while Rose Gold is a very safe, watered-down, lunch with the ladies-style interpretation of the original, it is not one that I often feel compelled to reach for. There are only so many days in a life and this one just isn't special enough for me to waste one on.

It's been a while since I wrote a review. Well, Rose Gold turned out to be a resounding disappointment - synthetic and lackluster, devoid of the richness of emotion that defined its iconic ancestor 24k Gold, the one with the green cap. Rose Gold is a cacophony of confused chemicals: no impression of rose, carnation, jasmine, vanilla or wood notes emerged, no clarity or definition, no smoothness or development. A boring landscape of an unexciting short journey. What a long list of notes! Sometimes less is more.... What makes me a bit sad is the trend followed by perfume houses to churn out clumsy, low budget concoctions as sequels to a blockbuster. Rose Gold, at least on me, started out cheap and stayed cheap, inducing sneezes and headaches. A scrubber. Hopefully, others will be less disappointed.

I agree that this smells like iced peach tea, but it’s so freaking powdery. Not at all what I expected. I wanted juicy watery peach, and got powder of peached tea flavor (the one that factories add to their iced tee) but in perfume. It’s nice overall but not for me, I struggle with powdery scents they tend to lean mature to my nose 🥲
