Cobalt Patchouli & Cedar

Cobalt Patchouli & Cedar is my first impression of this house, and I quite like it. It’s nothing particularly groundbreaking or memorable, but it’s a very nice take on a simple masculine woody citrus. Initially the patchouli, woods and Vetiver dominate, coming across quite damp and earthy, with a pronounced sharp grassiness. This quite quickly fades thankfully, instead allowing the grapefruit to shine through which is both juicy and refreshing, but not forgetting the zesty bitterness of the rind. As I said it’s a very nice scent. Confident, assured and unassuming, it just works. The longer I wear it the more I’m picking up similarities to Terre D’Hermès, which probably explains my enjoyment of it to be honest.

Jo Malone is a scent master... but not if you are looking for it to last longer than 30 mins for this particular one. It faded so quickly that all I could smell was the Tide I wash my clothing in. I was disappointed with that. But when you first spray it, so gorgeous of a fragrance. This is what I call an intimate fragrance. When you are going to get intimate with someone, this one is good because it wont overpower or linger. It is just enough to draw someone one in and not nauseate them.

This is a fresh clean crisp scent great for spring/summer. It reminds me of cool waters or farenheit but with more depth. Silage isn’t great nor is longevity but good for spring summer as not offensive. The blue design bottle looks great, the box it comes in is a nice touch and as usual with jo loves the magnetic lid is sleek all of this reminds me it’s a luxury brand

It starts with a deep-blue, woody patchouli/vetiver note, then dries down into a realistic light yellow fresh semi sweet pomelo/yuzu scent after 20 minutes.

Absolutely agree with @violet_affliction besides the fact that I love the smell)) It resembles Oud & Bergamot from Jo Malone.
