Fresh Sweet Peas

Got it from an impulse purchase as I visited London, a.k.a. Jo Love's only shop in the world. I usually test the perfume and wait for a few hour to see hows that react with my body chemistry, before my decision. For this one, I didnt wait (as i was travelling) and now a little regret about this purchase. At the first 10-15mins, it is floral with a hint of fruity sweet, which is totally my cup of tea. But after 1 hour or so, it changes to pure green floral, so real that even reminds me of the scent of cutting the flower stems. I think this would be a gd unisex perfume, or ladies who like green notes. It only comes in 100ml, and i gotta layer it with some sweet perfume to balance out the green notes. Hope I can actually finish this one.

I have a sample of this fragrance. I normally don't go for sweet pea fragrances, but this one is very nice. Even though sweet peas are not mentioned in the notes, I definitely get a sweet pea scent in this fragrance with some floral notes. I also get quite a bit of pear. I seem to like pear fragrances which may be what attracts me to this fragrance. A nice fragrance with decent longevity. I also get moderate projection. I will need to try this sample out some more to see if it is worth the price of $150.

I received a sample in the mail yesterday, and it was like at first sniff. Like many of Jo's fragrances, it has soft sillage, but great lasting power, on me. It does remind me of sweet pea flowers, with a somewhat gentle greenness to the scent. It is lightly floral after the first hour, and in the dry down, the rose petals and marigold are prominent on me. I will wear the rest of the sample before I decide if I will buy it, but I think I prefer JM Wild Bluebell for a similar light green floral.

I have a sample of this in the Jo Loves discovery set you can buy that includes the price of a full bottle, of whichever scent you pick from the set. I like it very much, but it reminds me of another floral and I can't put my finger (or nose!) on which one. Maybe Lili Bermuda's Lily. It is described as floral fruity, but I'm glad to say that it isn't a sweetie sweetie scent like some. To me, it comes across as more of a light green floral, probably because of the bitter orange top note. In fact, it comes across to me as having some LOTV notes, though not strongly so. I have so many floral fragrances that I don't think this is the one I will end up picking for my FB, but it is very pleasant. Pretty but not cute.

I was hoping for actual green vegetables, always looking for a scent with clean, natural notes, but this is a super sweet lily-type ‘sweet pea’ scent with strong indole. It's not clean or simple enough to be for a child, but not complicated or interesting enough to be for an adult. It was also cloying on me. Not a good one.
