Green Orange & Coriander

I remember liking this when I first got it. Love it now. It says bitter orange, which you would expect from a green orange, but I don't get the usual bitterness as I do with other scents that have this note, instead I get some really nice tartness. But not too much tartness like in the pineapple in Bondno9.com a big reason I lean towards Aventus. Pairing the orange with coriander is what really boosts this scent up for me, adding a nice green spiceness. This might be one of my favorite citruses. Unfortunately Jo Malone has to throw in the wrench with her usual terrible longevity, and the fact that it's only in the UK, a bottle purchase probably won't happen anytime in the near future.

JO's back, with only an online presence (there was a pop-up shop last Christmas in London), but she's doing what she does best; creating her uniquely original brand of scent. Lovely, uncomplicated yet beautiful fragrances. Green Orange & Coriander is similiar to it's older sister, Lime Basil and Mandarin, with that sharp, citrus blast that dries down to a clean elegant aromatic that is by no means shy and reserved. It works equally well on men or women, and once it's in a wider distrobution, it's sure to develop a loyal following. Just like it's sister!

I've had this scent for a few years and I always reach for it in the summer when I need a nice clothes spritz or simple zesty moment. For me, it lasts a long time on the skin, but my favorite thing about it is its dry down on clothes. If i spritz this lightly on a linen sweater, it'll last until I was it as a herbaceous and coriander warmth. Really lovely, but I agree with others that it leans more masculine when applied liberally.

I sprayed this fragrance a few hours on my wrist and I tried so hard to remember what it reminds me of. The smell seemed so familiar to me! And the. i got it: Bang by Marc Jacobs! I love that fragrance, have a bottle of it in my collection. So, Jo Loves Green Orange and Coriander is a very comforting, warm, wearable perfume.

I wasn't sure about this one at first - it smelled quite masculine to my nose, which would be great if I liked those kind of scents on my skin - I am generally a citrus, white floral kind of woman. I wore this today, and within the first few minutes the strong scent of orange, coriander, and black pepper seemed too sharp for me. However, in 30 minutes it softened to an herbal-citrus combo on my skin, which is more unisex than masculine. I rather like it for now, but not sure I love it enough to buy more. I do prefer this one to Lime, Basil, and Mandarin, which stays a bit stridently citrusy for a longer period of time.

I really enjoy this fragrance, it is similar to Terre D'Hermes but replace the citrus with bitter green and herbal notes. I much prefer this.

I purchased this fragrance for myself (a woman), as a blind buy. As a lover of green and herbaceous fragrances, I was keen on the notes listed. On first try, however, it was clear to me that this fragrance is much too masculine for even me--and I usually like to push past the traditional gender boundaries in fragrance because I find them too restrictive. In this case, this one would have been really difficult for me to wear and pull off. I gave it to my partner, and it suits him beautifully. All told, it's a lovely fragrance for men, but I found the mossy notes that project on the dry down far pronounced and masculine for my own personal use.

Yeah... too many Jo Malone siccophants here... Gorgeous smell. But that’s it. Wimpy performance (at least in the gel brush I received). Such a shame 154, Lime Mandarin and Basil I love and I was hoping for her innovative nose to come up with more smells with a stronger punch in this new guise but alas... Yes this smells somewhat like Hermes Eau D’Orange Concentre except less soapy (not Terre D’Hermes as some suggest - which says a lot about the reviews). Yes it’s masculine. Yes it dries down to a moss. No it isn’t worth it...

Bitter citrus opening with noticeable coriander presence, herbaceous drydown. Definitely a masculine-leaning cologne. The moss becomes apparent after a couple of hours and stays for quite some time.

A cologne with a flashy and supposedly ringing name It smells like a cologne it acts like a cologne It’s weak and bland and uninspired The number of colognes out there that are better and more interesting is overwhelming Just try acqua di Parma’s cologne it’s miles better than this one my first experience from this house and I wasn’t impressed and I hope the rest of the line is better than this forgettable mess Oh and performance is horrendous

It starts off nicely. Feels fresh, zesty, spa-like even. But someone mentioned a sweaty gym rat, and I'd have to agree! After a few mins, it's like a deodorant trying to mask B.O.

Smells like a sweaty person coming out of an overpriced gym, or a stuffy car service. Smells like strong, old-fashioned cologne on me.

I am not sure why I ended up with a sample of this as I dislike coriander. Possibly bought in a bundle. Or maybe I was trying to challenge myself. It is very coriander. Call me Captain Obvious. I was intrigued by the idea of green orange but the coriander was so aversive, I couldn't get into it. Those who, like me, like green botanical notes and Jo Malone's photorealistic limited note style, but unlike me, like coriander, should consider trying.

I really love this and am surprised by some of the negative reviews. It's citrussy but also green and fresh, which is maintained in the dry down with some earthy woodiness. I don't necessarily smell coriander as such, and I do love coriander so I thought I would be able to pick it out! Longevity is good for an EDT, the scent is detectable for a good few hours. I also don't think it's too masculine. Unisex for sure, but very wearable by anyone I think. Edit: I *really* love this as a fragrance to wear in the summer heat. It feels clean and fresh but not in a skin scent or laundry way at all. When you're hot and sweaty and most other scents feel either too heavy or too soapy, this one hits the mark perfectly. I've been wearing it all summer this year. I love it.

I received some samples of THIS one and A shot of Thai Lime over Mango and I gotta say this stuff is good ! VERY GOOD ! Jo Malone, IMO, is weak compared to the amazing fragrance line that Jo Love has created. Beautiful, citrus with a hint of minty freshness. Just a clean fabulous scent with that touch of pepper on the drydown but WOW very unique and different from the Jo Malone line and I must say creative genius. Longevity and Sillage is average to slightly above but a fabulous scent for the Summer and highly recommend this one for daily wear. In the world of "Me too's", this gives me hope that there is still some creativity out there thats not too weird to wear and likable...Hats off to you, Jo !

I must say I have mixed feelings about this scent as I disliked it the first time I sniffed it but gradually, the scent grew on me and now I feel like I could wear it. However, someone here mentioned how it's akin to Lime,Basil, and Mandarin from Jo Malone. Now, as much as I love Jo Malone original scents, I completely detest Lime, Basil, and Mandarin. It was far too sharp and headache-inducing for me. The odd thing is, I rather like Green Orange and Coriander which makes my olfactory senses confused about my tastes. I'd definitely choose GO&C over LB&M anyday...just not sure when. I prefer the Jo Loves florals, in any case, though her citrusy, herbal scents are very unique, to my nose, anyway.

This was love at first smell ! It is so beautiful, I get compliments whenever I wear it, it is my new daily fragrance. I can safely say that Jo Loves fragrances are superior in every way to JML by Estee Lauder. JML are over-priced, over-hyped, safe scents which smell samey and have poor silleage, they smell like mass-produced high street brands, whereas Jo Loves fragrances smell like a lot of TLC has gone into every bottle. This and Pomelo are my favourites from the line up, I urge everyone to try this brand

This really seems more masculine to me than unisex. It's another of those fragrances that I think would smell great on my husband but I don't care to wear it myself. The green orange is really a bitter orange and I like it. The herbal/aromatic notes take over pretty early on, though; and while I like herbal and aromatic notes, ultimately this smells to me like a man's aftershave, albeit a very nice one.

Nice. Sharp orange without sugary sweet, more herbal, and a rounded coriander that I really like. It does tend more masculine and on odd days it gets too much like mens' cologne on me, but overall, a nice scent.

This is essentially Terre d'Hermes, but perhaps a touch more green and herbal. It's beautifully done, and I think I actually like this one a little bit better than Terre d'Hermes, but they're almost identical.

I love this on my husband but it's too masculine for me so I can't wear it.
