Carrot Blossom

Jo Malone Carrot Blossom surprised me in the best possible way. At first spray, I expected something earthy and vegetal, but what I found was a soft, powdery floral wrapped in a gentle sweetness. The carrot note isn’t literal or garden-like; instead, it brings a subtle rooty texture that feels natural, comforting, and quietly elegant. As it develops, delicate wildflowers and soft musk emerge, creating the impression of walking through an English countryside meadow in early spring. There is something nostalgic about it—clean, airy, and effortlessly refined without trying too hard. The beauty of Carrot Blossom lies in its understated character. It doesn’t project loudly or demand attention. Rather, it sits close to the skin, inviting those around you to lean in. It’s the kind of fragrance that feels personal, intimate, and calming. For those who appreciate unusual florals, soft musks, and fragrances that capture nature without becoming overly green, Carrot Blossom is a hidden gem in the Jo Malone collection. It may not be the most famous release from the house, but it is certainly one of the most distinctive. Rating: 8.5/10 A quiet spring morning bottled in a fragrance.

I only had a tester of this and only got that for pure curiosity and Wow I loved it. I wasnt quite sure what to expect, I had recently been so plesantly surprised by a tomato fragrance that I thought maybe I do like this sort of thing, and then I sprayed it and realised I want to smell this clean and fresh and slightly etherial every single day. If nobody told you this was carrot you would not know, you would find something familiar but not quite something you could identify. It lasted well for a clogne - not sure on the projection but I didn't care i loved how it smelled on me to me.

This, I think, is my favorite of the 3. It reminds me of how the store Lush smells. I was worried it would be too vegetable and green, but it is not. Need to test more, but all 3 scents are soft.

I LOOOOOVE this scent. The carrot is so comforting. Unfortunately, in true Jo Malone fashion, it lasts 10 minutes on my skin.

This is bizarrely reminiscent of last year's Raspberry Ripple, and when I said as much to the SA, another employee called across the store and said "See! I told you people were saying that!" Don't get me wrong, there's an undeniably earthy edge to this and a faint suggestion of white florals, so it's not like they're 1:1. It's more that both scents are enveloped in the same fresh-out-the-shower vibe. If I were to blindly guess what was in this, I'd say iris, vetiver and a pinch of orange blossom and jasmine, and then whatever contributes to this watery-clean vibe I'm getting from both perfumes. Raspberry ice cream shampoo, iris & vetiver shampoo... This isn't me knocking it though!!! I own & very much cherish my bottle of Raspberry Ripple. It's the only reason I'm passing on this - definitely have no need for both. I think if you liked Raspberry Ripple but found it too feminine/girly, this might be more your speed.

The notes listed on the website are actually Carrot blossom, Fennel and Patchouli... Not sure why orange blossom and white musk are listed here. I'm getting a baby-wipe vibe from this. It's not rooty nor earthy, it's actually quite round, juicy and floral. I expected it to be just a bit more vegetal or carrot-y if I'm being honest. It does not remind me of a garden or veggies in any way. I assume this will please the average person more than fragrance enthusiasts like myself, who expected something a bit more true to its name. I do agree with reviewers below, this might be the front-runner of the collection as far as popularity will go in the future. But my favorite is Scarlet Beetroot, whose juiciness has me salivating.

Very into this collection! Carrot Blossom is not as literally vegetal as one would expect. Certainly not the carrot leaves. And it's also not as sweet as carrot cake. Instead, it's a interesting, slightly sweet and fresh smell. I get the musk and Orange Blossom for sure. In fact, the orange blossom competes with a weak carrot note that faded very fast on my skin. Very wearable despite the unusual components. A skin scent. Unisex. Cozy, like a rabbit munching on a carrot.

08.July 2026 Out of 3 fragrances from this collection this seemed to be most pleasant out of the nozzle, so i tested it on my skin. At first it smells just like juicy carrot or like a pressed sweetened carrot juice from the jar. I really enjoyed the first stage of it, then after 30min it becomes more bitter, i guess thst it where the orange blossom phase comes forward. My least favorite is the later development phase, where the musk is so dominant that it literalky smells like the strongest washing detergent powder or chalk. It smells so repulsive, that i had to run to wash it off. What started as a nice and pleasant scent ended up being unbearable chalky and duffocsting. Lasting power max 2hours. Cannot reccomend.

This is very clean, almost aggressively clean. Not in a soapy aldehydic way, it's more like a clean carpet. It has just a hint of something medicinal. Overall I find it pleasant, and I definitely like it the best out of this new collection. It's also crazy long-lasting and it really projects. I would really enjoy the sillage of this scent if someone walked past me wearing it, or they were in close proximity to me for a little bit. It definitely captures your attention, not just because it's strong, but because it doesn't smell like perfume. It just smells pleasant and a bit chemical (when you really take it in for a while). I'm impressed. The only downside is it's a little nauseating to wear, because it's so strong and has that medicinal/chemical vibe.

Well, this was my first ever Jo Malone purchase and it was nice to see the brand doing something a little different. It was easily my favourite from the Veggie Patch collection. It’s powdery, fresh and clean. You get a subtle fruitiness from the carrot blossom, a sweet floral quality, and an earthy, orris-like note running through it. I also get a bit of orange blossom that brightens the whole scent profile. The fennel and patchouli add a fresh, musky feel, while the powdery earthiness underneath keeps it interesting and stops it from feeling like just another clean floral. A bit of carrot which is quite lovely but then a lot of baby powder, which is inoffensive but not uniquely appealing. Regardless, a very clean, linen closet kind of fragrance. Actually would really be absolutely fantastic for drawer liners or potpourri or fabric spray. Velvety Butternut is my favorite from this line overall though (pure autumnal pumpkin spice that doesn't read candle-like at all!!). The beetroot frag from this line is a fun, earthy, summery option--fruity but a bit bitter and vegetal and, well, beet like. Overall a fun trio if you're tempted to get the sample set.

I definitely get soft spicy and perfumey from this with the musk, fennel, and patchouli. The carrot note lends to the sweetness. The musk and orange blossom are very clean. Almost slightly festive, the most wearable and my favourite of the three. I can still smell this over an hour after spraying so it has better performance than most colognes from JM.

I get notes of sunscreen, musk, ginger, and nothing. Mostly slightly astringent ginger. Reminds me very much of my bottle of “air & coconut” by CLEAN, that I’ve had since 2019 and has since gone bad.

This comes across as mildly citrusy to me, not much carrot at all.
