Forest Moss Cologne

Beautiful! Wet, damp, dewy, fresh, green, light but with a subtle sweetness in the sense of a berry bush smell. I thoroughly enjoyed it, although very subtle. I personally love the idea of scents that are for you alone, and anyone who is special enough to be close to you. I think it is so romantic for someone to discover a delicate smell that no one else can detect. However, this is nothing ground breaking if you're looking for a perfume. This is a scent, very pretty, and I would definitely purchase it for me and that special someone only.

I really like this one, to my mind the best in the series. However, if you like slightly edgy green smells, I would always prefer English Oak & Hazelnut. However, as a mix of an aromatic and a green smell, this is very well done. To my mind, it just fades a bit too quickly.

If you're into layering scents this is a really nice mossy/herbal/aromatic base. I like using it with a linear or green white floral to create a more unisex or complex blend as this is quite linear itself! Since it feels almost one note (moss) it kind of gives a shaving cream/classic aftershave vibe and is distinctly unisex leaning masculine. The berry notes are very interesting and almost remind me of Blackberry and Bay in their savory qualities. The subtlety of the geranium has yet to peak through for me but I'm sure its there sweetening this up. Overall, a simple yet satisfying scent. I was gifted this so I'm unsure I'd buy it for myself but a nice addition to my collection nonetheless, especially in this pretty bottle!

It’s raining here today, so I decided to wear this Jo Malone London discontinued offering. Humidity or rainy days helps this scent project more; a salty, camphoric, but linear combination that wraps a smooth geranium core upon dry down. It fades too quickly, remaining a skin scent for 4-5 hours.

I have this and Guerlain Homme EDP. They smell very similar! Guerlian's is sharper and more citrusy, making it more masculine. But the core green oakmossy scent is very similar.

Herbaceous and aromatic. Like smelling the forest floor. Perfect for layering or if you want to feel like a forest nymph. It smells nice, its just not really my cup of tea.

Less forest moss, more coastal dune. On my skin it's powdery, salty, with only the barest hint of juniper. The longevity is alright, lasts several hours for me, but with very little sillage. It's pleasant, but it's not what I was hoping for from the name.

I wouldn’t really say it smells like a forest. It’s more aromatic. It’s fresh and pleasant, more masculine than feminine. Well done but not what i was going for.
