Ginger Biscuit

Ginger biscuit for me was an instant hoorah, I smelt the perfume and found myself obsessing over it for a month, till I finally bought a bottle. Then obsessed over it being an LTD and bought another. The only thing I can say that I sort of regret is not buying a 3rd. Ginger biscuit has a sharp spicy ginger surrounded in a creamy cozy envelope of milky caramel, cinnamony vanilla, and hazelnut. Since I love all of those notes I just about died when I found a fragrance that had them all combined. This is plenty spicy and is unlike a lot of gourmand fragrances on the market, it's unusual and quirky. It gives you a warm snuggley feeling inside, and develops well on a person with low body heat. On me the fragrance lasts 8 hours and projects around 3 feet around me in soft smolder y sweet way. I catch whiffs of it all day. I am just in love how quirky and charming this fun little scent is! I wore it once to a bingo hall and got like a million compliments, this could be the perfect perfume for visiting grandma. Which is kind of an odd observation I know, but it has an old time-y charm to it since I think ginger cookies are less popular nowadays then they used to be. I think this is a good fragrance to buy if you are looking for something comforting yet fun. I really hope Jo Malone brings this fragrance back!

I love this perfume and am so crushed that it is discontinued. I hope Jo Malone brings it back. Right now they have it in their holiday collection but then it comes with 4 other fragrances for over $100 and is only 5 mls. Hopefully they bring back a full bottle for next year. I have never smelled anything like it. It is just the perfect vanilla scent with a spicy kick to it. It kind of reminds me of the drydown from Spicebomb Extreme mixed with a vanilla fragrance like the oil roll-on by Nemat. But this is all based on memory as I ran out of Ginger Biscuit last year :( EDIT: I just bought a decant of this and also a sample of Sweetly Known by Kerosene which is more intense but has a similar vibe. It opens like a cardamom bomb but after a few minutes dries down into a spicy vanilla with burnt caramel. I am obsessed. I think I prefer it to Ginger Biscuits. I will warn you that it is way more intense than Ginger Biscuit. It also lasts and lasts. I got both from The Perfumed Court for a decent price.

Sweet warm ginger delicious-ness (pleaser for gourmand lovers), I tested the whole line just last week @ Nordies, they're all pretty wonderful. I loved the Ginger Biscuit the most, it's like eating fresh buttery ginger snap dipped in milk && coated with caramel...mmm! && actually this is more sweet then spicy && the dry down is absolutely amazing, on me I was getting a scent that was faintly familiar, then it hit me on the dry down w/ the caramel, it smells slightly like a very light version of prada candy, I'm not saying it smells like it entirely just an undertone from the caramel && it also faintly reminded of B&BW warm vanilla sugar. It's so edibly yummy && sexxi, I got it to layer w/ my candy, && they're limited edition so I deff. needed this! go give em a try! Apparently they're all targeted for woman, but it's Jo Malone if you like it wear it! :)

2023 formulation - I'm annoyed with Jo Malone for not making a matching lotion. This is a love for me. The most prominent notes are one of the best vanillas, hazelnut and cinnamon. The other notes support it. Never mind full bottle worthy, more like back up bottle(s) worthy if you have the funds. Rarely, is there a scent that makes me want to wear it for months but this is it. As everyone knows with Jo Malone the performance lacks. On my skin, 20 minutes, the scent was a skin scent. I could still smell it on my skin 5 hours later, by hour 6, it was gone. I believe a matching lotion would help improve performance. As far the scent itself, A+++. To me, this is the perfect fall fragrance. It's not child like at all. It's rich vanilla cinnamon spice and all things nice. 💗

This was a impulse blind buy after seeing a you tuber do a perfume favorite review. I love ginger and bakery scents so I took a chance on this one buying it off Amazon.com. One spray and I was hooked! I immediately bought a backup bottle and searched for body lotion or body oil with this scent! I wear this daily, usually to bed because it smells so yummy! Thank God this is a fresh ginger with dry biscuit scent, not a sickly sweet one. It lasts on my extremely dry skin in 120 degree heat all day with a lingering trail! On my clothes it lasts until next day. This may be a cologne but it has unbelievable longevity! I highly recommend this scent! I would bath in it if I could! Absolutely my favorite scent ever!

Well this is a surprise. I got a decant of this because I loved the sound of it. But most Jo Malone fragrances are pretty, thin, and fleeting on me. This one has actually lasted a reasonable length of time. It's not terribly powerful, and almost no silage, but hey at least I can smell it about six hours after application which is about four hours more than any other of this brand I've tried. The scent itself is warm, cozy, and chewy. It does indeed smell like a ginger biscuit, but with a little more complexity. I get a little incense, a little wood, all in all it's really quite enjoyable. Though given the cost and size of a full bottle I'll just stick with my decant.

Guys, maybe is something related to body chemistry, hormones, food etc. but this is a magnetic juice on me. Everybody compliments me and it keeps the spicy caramel aspect for hours (maybe one of the best longevities in Jo Malone). A gentleman at a cafe asked me what I was wearing, saying “you smell like vanilla pods and caramel and butter and tobacco” lololol (perhaps he confounded my perfume with the cafe itself). Great on dry, chilly days. Very appealing caramel/vanilla combo, I attribute the magnetism of this perfume to this. Like to layer it with Oud & Bergamot or Dark Amber & Ginger Lily. Overall I love it, can’t deny! Hope they relaunch it this year! 9.0/10

2023 version: After seeing reviews on social media, my interest grew gradually, and when I tried it in the store, I immediately wanted it. The top note has a sharp ginger scent, which quickly gives way to a powdery, deliciously sweet fragrance like Scarlet Poppy.There is also a salty, buttery note.The name 'Biscuit' fits it perfectly. The sweetness is not too heavy, making me feel like wearing it from morning. It's a fragrance that can be enjoyed both outside and at home. It's a scent without any unpleasant sharpness, and I'm looking forward to using it a lot this fall and winter.I'm glad I bought it! I love it♡

I bought this on a whim for my birthday, hoping it would be warm and, well, gingery! The initial spritz and top notes remind me of Prada Candy. As it dries down, the cinnamon notes are reminiscent of L de Lolita. Since I enjoy both of those perfumes, I find this new Jo Malone one to be delightful. It has excellent sillage and lasted approx. 8 hours, which is not bad for a cologne. I found most of the notes were detectable, and lovely. However, the only note that I couldn't really detect was ginger. I suppose I expected it to be a little spicier. Nevermind, all in all, a good perfume which I will enjoy anyway.

I was looking for something like SL 5'Oclock Gingembre with staying power. By some sad twist of nature, SL literally fades away on my skin within 30 minutes. Ginger Biscuit is to 5'Oclock like a biscotti is to a fresh ginger snap. Ginger Biscuit had great lasting power and nice sillage. It's just not as spicey and ginger-y as I hoped. The vanilla and hazelnut mute the sharp snap of ginger and turn this truly from a cookie to, well, a biscuit. It's warm, milky, dry and a little sweet - not a boring vanilla, mind you - but it's lacking that spicey zip I wanted.

I am an absolute sucker for Nice Christmas Things, and this is the perfect example of that. Spicy and warm and delicious, this is a remarkably realistic gourmand without leaning too sweet. Very much a 90s Martha Stewart kind of Christmas, this makes me wish I had a brownstone to decorate with tasteful greenery. Unfortunately as everyone else has mentioned, the projection and longevity are way too weak for the price - this takes 10 sprays and doesn't last more than an hour or two, but I'll forgive that for December.

Omggggg this is beautiful! I just got a bottle of this in a swap and I was instantly hooked. Warm spicy ginger infused caramel with hints of vanilla and other delectable foody spices. I love L de Lolita which is in the same scent class, but I think this is actually much better. Such a shame that I just found this as the weather starts to get warmer here in time for sping/summer. I will make sure I get at least one more bottle by next fall because this is a new fav.

If you wanna smell like a sexy and cozy candle wear that. Im going to bleed this dry until February i dont care this is amazing and I smell SO GOOD!!! Definitely more of a close embrace perfume, almost a skin scent after only 3-4 hours but that s what make it sEXY PEOPLE!!! I WANT PEOPLE TO SMELL A SEXY GINGERBREAD WOMAN WHEN THEY HUG ME!!!

Love this. It's like wearing a big hug and people hug me a bit longer wearing it, it seems to make them feel comfortable around me. Ginger Biscuit sounds like it shouldn't work as so gourmand but ohh it does work. It lasts well and I find myself sniffing my wrist over and over.

Acquired a 50ml partial of this recently from my aunt's collection and the name says it all. This smells like a ginger snap cookie with a slight bite of fresh ginger root that I adore. Although I'm glad to own it, I would NEVER pay the astronomical asking price for Ginger Biscuit. It's very good, but it's an eau de cologne through and through. Gave me a solid 3 hours before I had to top up. Very enjoyable, but nothing to pay a car note for imo. That being said, if you want to smell like spiced ginger snaps/gingerbread and nothing more... then this one does it well. Just have to top up every couple of hours. **If you have FOMO, or just want the scent without the huge expense, Genre Parfums will be releasing an inspired version of ginger biscuit called Ginger-esque. Fantastic indie house btw. ***Purchased Genres version and it's very nice. More of a buttery gourmand gingerbread cookie than the og but definitely worth a sniff!

Was lucky enough to able to grab a bottle of this from saks when it released 9/17/23. A photo realistic ginger snap cookie. Nothing more, nothing less. This is definitely a pretty fragrance, but I'm not all that into super subtle, skin scents-and that's exactly what this is (on me). If it wasn't for all the hype surrounding this fragrance and the packaging, I'd probably return it. If you are a fragrance junkie, like most of us are -YOU KNOW everything surrounding this one. So I'II keep her just because I feel like I collected an infinity stone. But the scent itself is not anything ground breaking at all. It is a skin scent and projection and sillage are very minimal if any. The ginger, cinnamon, and nutmeg are prominent to my nose.

Why would anyone want to smell like a ginger biscuit, I wondered when the bottle of Jo Malone GB arrived. It came in a lot of other high end frags, along with JM Bitter Chocolate and Orange (review will post soon). Well, a spray later I was pleasantly surprised: this is a realistic, strong ginger cookie scent, snappy and sharp until the sugar and spices kick in. The dry down softens the ginger bite until only a hint of spices remains. There's a resemblance to a high quality scented candle I once had: elegant but faint. Sillage and lasting power are very modest, which is a shame for such a pricey fragrance. To answer the opening question: I like to smell like a ginger biscuit, as long as it's Jo Malone GB.

Just bought this as limited edition 2023. It is beautiful, my tween daughters immediately told me I smell like pumpkin pie and chai - this is extremely high praise from them!. GB is a soft scent immediately on spray, it is not at all overpowering or needing time to settle. I definitely need to overspray about 10 sprays to get any fragrance aura or trail, and even then it is gone within 30 mins, doesn't even remain on clothes. It is heavenly though, cosy, soft, feminine spicy vanilla - very well blended, there are no sharp notes at all. I am definitely a fan! Pity JM is so expensive, I would consider a backup bottle otherwise. The real tragedy is the weakness of the fragrance.

This reminds me of something so specific from my childhood that I can’t quite remember. Maybe it was one of this candy/gourmet scented lip balms Idk. But this is a very pretty and warm and cozy scent. I don’t see myself buying a full bottle. Maybe the candle for my home. I like that this is holiday spices but not on overload as it can be in other like perfumes. This is more so u used all the spices in making a pie or cookies for family and your outside talking and get a faint whiff of you desserts being ready bc you can smell the done’ness through the doorway and windows. It also doesn’t project very much on me. I see why it’s a cult fave tho.

This one lands in between like and love for me. During the colder months, I appreciate this photorealistic gingerbread note a hundred times more. It is a gourmand but not cloying or headache inducing. I enjoy spraying this on my clothes or blankets because it lasts 8-9 hours on fabric and only 3 hours on skin. I detect a sharp synthetic vanilla extract in the perfume that I’m not fond of but it’s negligent when sprayed on fabric. Luckily, I smell the gingerbread from start to finish. If you layer it with a sandalwood perfume like Diptyque Tam Dao EDP, it really just smells like delicious ginger molasses cookies straight out of the oven.

Limited availability makes people do crazy things! For me this was also an impulsive blind buy. Being a fan of Jo Malone fragrances I honestly expected more. It is nice smelling and longevity is good but it smells more like something I would expect from The Body Shop or Yves Rocher to be honest... It lacks originality! The advantage of Jo Malone fragrances is that you can layer them so I tried layering it with Dark Amber and Ginger Lily which gives it more depth and it smelled great.

The smell is no different than a Bath and Body Works christmas body spray. This can definitely be unisex! I would never buy this but this 9ml sample I have sure does smell nice. Props to Jo Malone for giving generous samples but these just aren't worth the money when they smell just like a Bath and Body Works spray you can get for much less with similar performance.

I really really wish Jo Malone fragrances lasted longer - but they always sit for a few hours at most and have really weak projection in my opinion. That being said, I love this scent & I’m glad it’s back around! It’s perfect for the holidays and layers really well with other gourmands that last longer like Dulce by Rosie Jane.

Smells like absolute sorcery, like one of those mall fragrances they pump into confectionery shops like Famous Amos to trick shoppers into thinking their staff is baking cookies every hour of the day. Worth a stop by the JM boutique when I walk past it, but I will never pay for it with those asking prices lol.

Warm and gingery. Not too sweet, and does not smell like fresh baked ginger cookies but has a warm vanilla/ ginger base with a slightly bitter edge. The first time I tried it at Neiman Marcus I didn't care for it, but sampled again it gew on me. Nice fall or winter scent.

Very pretty slightly sweet gingerbread notes, very nice, much better than the standard gingerbread latte or candle smell, this is a proper perfume, but it's quite delicate, and the sillage is very weak. Edited to add , Demeter Gingerbread is similar but better sillage.

It's a very beautiful scent, but lasts like 45 minutes. I don't even need intense sillage/longevity, but this is super weak sauce.

2023 version: I bought it due to the hype and for having missed out in the previous years to get it when it was released. It is a very holiday-cheerful scent around this time of the year, definitely a gourmet realistic ginger biscuit scent, turned into sweet caramel. Very average longevity and sillage in typical JM fashion, arguably not worth the price tag (as I'd imagine you can find similar scents from body mists and body sprays). I'm glad that I only picked up a 30ml as this is a scent for specific holiday mood and holiday gathering occasions (and a good bedtime scent in the cold winter months) only.

If you like Ginger Buscuit try Xerjoff Starlight!!!! It’s the grownup version of GB yes more expensive but lasts longer than GB! GB is too expensive for it lasting 2 minutes!

I had smelled an amazing scent on someone last winter over the holidays, it was spicy, with hints of cinnamon, warm, sophisticated, sweet, freshly baked, it was entrancing and intoxicating in the best way possible. I asked around if anyone knew what it might be. A friend suggested that it was probably Jo Malones Ginger Biscuit, never having smelled Jo's GB I thought okay I'll order it since I liked their Tropical Cherimoya scent. But alas Ginger Biscuit was no where to be found being limited edition, until just last week I saw it on Bloomingdales website as an exclusive, I got so excited that I blind ordered two bottles just in case they sold out. Well, I'm sorry to say that it is definitely NOT the amazing sophisticated fragrance that I smelled a year ago. I am returning it. JM's GB is too sickly sweet, lacks depth, like a sticky cheap mess, the spicy ginger smell went away almost instantly and dried down into a synthetic candy/factory made cookie smell you might find as a bad air freshener in a bathroom. Even on my clothes it smelled awful, I can't wait to take it off as it's giving me a headache. Yuck. So after much disappointment and doing more research I think I may have found the winner, a much more high end perfume from Hermes. The price tag is over $100 more than JM's GB, but I'm hoping that this one will be that amazing, tasteful, complex scent that I have been looking for. Fingers crossed!

I purchased this as a sort of panic buy because the salesman said that it was the last one and that it may not be back until next Christmas. In the store, I liked the fragrance because I detected a hint of pine, but I think that the pine fragrance might have been in my nose because I was sniffing the lovely pine candle. Anyway, I definitely get a gingerbread-man scent, but I seriously don't want to smell like baked goods. I have enough of a problem staying away from them as it is. It does seem to dry down pretty quickly to a vanilla scent, but I'm not crazy about that either, and so I returned it to the store.

2023 release: I had to wash this off! I normally enjoy a dash of ginger in fragrance but this is thick and heavy and sweet and honestly made me feel sick. It sure is a gourmand fragrance - the name is very apt. Couldnt get it off quick enough - I suspect this perfume will last well if you can stand it!! I hate being negative so I will just say that Orange Bitters ( another festive release) is absolutely stunning and I will be buying a fb very soon.

Discount Snickerdoodles and Vanilla-Spice tea... Ginger Biscuit opens with a distinct sweet milk note, like the milk remaining in the bowl after the sugar-coated cereal is gone. There's a dusting of spices through its development: cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg, but it really is just a light dusting. A "vanilla" snickerdoodle cookie brimming with artificial ingredients and a visible sprinkling of spices on top. I am also reminded of artificial vanilla-spice tea bags, though there's no actual black tea note here. Ginger Biscuit does not smell like true to life cookies, which is not necessarily a bad thing. However, like a few other of Jo Malone's weaker offerings, e.g. French Lime Blossom, Vintage Gardenia, and the rest of the Sugar & Spice collection (with the exception of Bitter Orange & Chocolate), Ginger Biscuit suffers from a surreal transparency - the overall composition just seems to miss the mark. GB projects pretty poorly so you can wear it wherever, whenever. I can't imagine it offending anyone. It reminds me of Bond No 9' I Love New York For All, sans the black pepper, leather, and monster projection. Ginger Biscuit lasts a good long while, and if you dig artificially flavored mildly spiced cookies, this could be your (go-to fragrance for a) cup of tea. Personally, I would go for JM's Dark Amber & Ginger Lily, or L'Occitane's Eau des Baux if I were in the mood for a soothing spiced vanilla. On the other hand, I could see Ginger Biscuit layering beautifully with the majority of the fruit-centered JM offerings, (I'll bet the English Pear and Freesia layers with this amazingly) so if you love all things JM, this one is worth a sniff.

I finally got my hands on a bottle of this and it was an instant love! It’s gourmand perfection in my eyes - simply sweet and spicy gingerbread cookies. It’s not thick or heavy or syrupy smelling, it’s actually quite light but I think that makes it easier to wear. It’s so warm and delicious and cozy and inviting, the kind of scent that keeps you sniffing your wrists. If you are a fan of Spiced Gingerbread Swirl by Bath and Body Works (SPECIFICALLY Spiced Gingerbread Swirl - not Spiced Gingerbread or Gingerbread Latte), I think you would love this! They smell very similar but ginger biscuit has a bit more spice to it and smells more authentic. I’ve been looking for an alternative for Spiced Gingerbread Swirl for years (it’s discontinued) and this is it! In true Jo Malone fashion, the projection and longevity are mediocre. I would call this a skin scent, or personal scent, I don’t think it’s a projector. I get a few hours of wear out of this before I feel the need to spray again. Objectively, I don’t think it’s worth the expensive price tag quality wise, but the scent itself is worth the hype. I would absolutely pay for this again because I love the smell. It’s deliciously intoxicating. Really hoping they will make this permanent.

Jo Malone's Ginger Biscuit is predominantly a caramel fragrance on my skin. When I first spray it, I get a slightly stinky note that I normally get from caramel fragrances - I strongly dislike this facet of caramel, but luckily, it doesn't last. Then I do get the spices, ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon - spices that kind of remind me of pumpkin spice. It has the creaminess that pumpkin pie would have, because of the caramel. I guess it kind of smells like a ginger biscuit? A very sweet one, with a caramel layer like in Caramel deLites/Samoas. And kind of creamy as well, it doesn't have the dry biscuit feel that I would expect. I'm probably being too harsh on this fragrance, expecting it to smell fully like a real ginger biscuit, but I've heard so much about this one - and I think I just wanted more ginger? I always want more ginger in my perfume, but the note so often gets smothered in sweetness and then I don't get the zing that I crave. It is nice, but again - becomes predominantly a caramel perfume. It's not a must-have, I don't think. I wish the first spicy five minutes was the whole perfume :( Testing from a sample of Ginger Biscuit.

Had both this and the new bottle, very little difference so props to Jo Malone for fully committing to bringing back a MUCH desired classic holiday fragrance. Originally blind bought this older bottle for $200, it was such a gamble, luckily I am a huge fan - this is so lovely, it smells a like gingersnaps at grandmas house. There is something in here that is antique in nature, it may be the dark/rich caramel. This is my fall and Christmas scent, but I lean more fall as it lacks enough cinnamon. This reads as photorealistic warm plate of ginger cookies. I ended up selling my new bottle and keeping this older original rendition as its macerated and lasts longer/smells deeper for someone who doesnt need both. I get so giddy to wear this after peak autumn Angels Share, and before true winter Santas Blueberry Shortbread. Something in this gives me a beautiful feeling of nostalgia, its warm fairy lights, a fireplace, and a lovely holiday evening with family. I am emotional just smelling this!

Ginger Biscuit: The Perfect Nostalgic Fall Treat I'm really pleased with Ginger Biscuit, especially since it was released way back in 2013 before the massive gourmand trend hit. Christine Nagel is clearly a talented perfumer, and the creativity here feels very much like niche quality. This fragrance is pure nostalgia and fantasy. It's the perfect scent for the fall season—it captures that amazing Thanksgiving vibe. Wearing it genuinely feels like walking into a warm kitchen where a mother is baking dessert or serving biscuits with tea. The notes are blended well, but the vanilla is the most dominant note on my skin, which makes it incredibly cozy. I find it leans a bit more feminine, and as a male, I wouldn't wear it myself. However, from a creative standpoint, it’s excellent. If you want a comforting, beautifully executed, and nostalgic scent for the cooler months, this is a good one. Rating: 7/10 (Creative, nostalgic, and perfect for fall!)

Smells pretty much how you'd expect it to, although if I didn't see the name before I sniffed it I wouldn't necessarily think "this is exactly a ginger cookie!" The sum of its parts combined with the suggestion of its title leaves that impression, but you can tell that it's made out of aspects that, on their own, wouldn't be considered gourmand. That's not to say it isn't very, very sweet, because it is. It smells kind of like Guerlinade with ginger and a greater quantity of syrupy vanilla. I swear there's heliotrope too, or maybe immortelle, or both (having never encountered these flowers IRL I have to abstract them from other perfumes that feature them as notes). I enjoy gourmands, but I don't necessarily want to smell like this one all day. It gets a bit sickening after a few hours.

I was intrigued when I saw a few people mentioning this on YouTube so I went ahead and got a sample instead of blind buying like I was tempted to because it's discontinued. So glad I only got the sample. I expected this fragrance to smell so much richer and fuller because of the notes, but instead it smelled kind of watered down and didn't pack the punch I was expecting. Who knows, maybe I received a diluted sample, but it was ordered from a very prestigious sample company so I highly doubt it. I wanted to like this so badly based on the notes and all the rave reviews, but it ended up being far too weak for me.

Pm me if you’d like an affordable decant of Ginger Biscuit. I purchased the 100ML as that was the only size available at the time. I like this fragrance, but I am not in love with it. Considering all of the hype surrounding this fragrance AND the exclusivity in purchasing it, my expectations were set really high. As a gourmand lover, I expected this to be a little more buttery and decadent. What I smell is true to the notes—caramel, vanilla and cinnamon. Ginger Biscuit is a cozy scent that’s perfect for the Fall weather when all you want to do is cuddle, watch Hallmark movies and drink cocoa 😁🥰

I'm so late getting my nose on this, but first sniff was an instant love! Now that the weather broke I can't stop spraying myself every night since I've gotten it.. its an easy reach for that cozy vibes at home -- instantly gets me in the fall/holiday spirit. I'm not the one who wants to smell like cookies, but It's the perfect balance of spices & sweetness that doesn't go full on foodie nor heavy that it gives you headaches like air fresheners do. Given that Christine Nagel is behind the famous Guerlain's GC, I trust her style when it comes to gourmands. This years's bottle is beautful too!

I love all things ginger, and this perfume smells like an amazing spicy ginger cookie immediately after spraying. But after 10 minutes all you are left with is a very dark and sort of spicy sweet scent - like patchouli and molasses. It does not smell anything like BBW warm sugar vanilla, which I used to wear a lot. Ginger biscuit ends up settling into a more dark, woody, spicy scent, with all of the fresh ginger notes disappearing. If it was a more linear scent and stayed like the initial scent it would be my signature scent. But if you love those darker woodsy scents you might like this.

I think this is a lovelyand different sort thing from the folks at Jo Malone. On me there is a lot of vanilla/tonka that is slightly floral, and some subtle spices (mostly ginger and cinnamon). I love wearing it on cooler days and it smells interesting and comforting. I do not get any caramel notes from this in my experience. For me it is not overtly gourmand - you will not smell like a ginger cookie yankee candle, but there is a comforting sugar note in there. It's lovely. Not quite as sophisticated as earlier Jo Malone - but interesting and pretty. Worth the price, imo.

I ordered the new release (October 2023), directly from the JM website and I can 100% say that Ginger Biscuit is truly one of the longest lasting Jo Malone fragrance I own. It is a spicy gourmand because it smells just like those yummy ginger snap cookies. Did I mention long lasting? I’ve had this sprayed on my wrist for some hours now and it’s still projecting beautifully. It’s slowly drying l into a cozy, intoxicating and warm caramel with some spiciness, still present. Ginger Biscuit will definitely be perfect for Fall and Winter as well as those rainy days. Get it!!!

I ordered Ginger Biscuit online based upon the Frangrance combination it is supposed to be. I wanted to like it so much but it does not smell good on me. First spray I smelled a lot of ginger which I liked. But, when it settled on my skin it smelled like an old burnt smell. I can’t say it was vanilla; it smells like this lamp oil I had that was supposed to be vanilla and amber but just smelled old and burnt. People seem to love this fragrance by the reviews. I think it really depends on your skin. I’m so sad that I didn’t like Ginger Biscuit.

Jo Malones fragrances are for layering. This is no exception. Layer this under a citrus based fragrance (including those not from the house) and it adds a nice dimension to it. It smells exactly like the name. warm ginger biscuits with sweet powder sugar on top. makes me hungry when I smell it on its own. Don't expect anything to last to long from this line on its own. They're cologne concentration because you wouldn't want to layer something heavy and thick like an edp. Although, this does seem to have slightly above average longevity.

Very gourmand - ginger and cinnamon biscuit like, spot on!! It even has that greasy feel to it as in made with lots of butter! This is very strong and very caramel sweet though with the cold that i still have, it could be even more stronger. You need to like foody scents to like this. I predict that this is strong with moderate sillage. Update after 30 mins: still going strong and similar to the beginning but smoother now. Very caramel like on me. After an hour, this is very buttery sweet like those worthington butter sweets!!!
