Velvet Rose & Oud

Easily the freshest, most relaxed of all sweetened rose-oud fragrances I have ever tried. It's not as opulent and formal as MFK Oud Satin Mood, not as sweet and gourmand as Lancôme Oud Bouquet and softer than either of them. It's perfect if you're new to oud or if you want a rosey oud for every day. Even though it's much airier than other fragrances from this category, Velvet Rose & Oud is not a light scent per se, especially not for a Jo Malone, and for sure not weak. It just doesn't have a monster sillage. This is a jammy rose with clean, slightly medicinal wood and a gourmand undertone. I wouldn't call that note praliné, it's not that nutty, maybe more like vanilla with a hint of chocolate. The oud is more noticeable in the drydown, but never overwhelming. I also sense something fruity which lifts the fragrance up, like the rose was blended with lychee, raspberry and lemons. The overall impression is very smooth and indeed velvety. I think I still prefer the louder, ultra-gourmand Oud Bouquet a little, but if I ever crave a light version of this concept, I will know where to look for it. Beautiful fragrance. By the way, I do not find this in any way similar to Lush Rose Jam, Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme or Mancera Roses Vanilla, which all have votes right now or got mentioned in other reviews. Sure, they are all rose scents, but otherwise very different.

A52, (May 2022 batch) Sorry for my below first impression. This is Noir de Noir has no connection whatsoever. But this one are stand out by it own. Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud is easier scent to wear in realm of Rose & Oud combination. As it rely heavily on sweet latonic/chocolate accord base. It is very sweet and this is Rose dominant than Oud. Oud in this work like backbone for the scent for deeper sensational. Opening is very fruity, I smell lychee then reveal Rose. Rose here, is fairy juicy lust rose. What make this unique is Milky/Latonic/Chocolate base. And It is very sweet and tasty. However, this is work in Jo Malone manner, which is Thin and Airy. and No, this doesn't have Arabian style oud. This is layer well with TomFord OudWood resulting in Latonic, powdery Rose Oud For those who interest in purchase, blind. If you familiar with Rose & Oud. Go ahead, this is very easy to use. (but bare in mind, this is very sweet / latonic undertone) 8/10 ====== First Impression After my instant love with TF Noir de Noir. i really like that rose part along mild oud dept with Chocolate accord without Savory Truffle / patchouli - this is it. This is nice for daily wear. I find oud a bit show up than Noir de Noir but it’s totally okay. I feel like I also get extremely lite patchouli as well. Overall, it’s tone down noir de noir of rose part. Major love for me. 9/10

Rich, port and meltingly smooth blackberry dessert wine, almost smells like Amy Winehouse’s velvety voice bottled. To me it’s a dark berry and red rose perfume ( but not Black Bacarra red, a bit lighter red, more like Ingrid Bergman). The praline note is not strongly present and the oud is lighter and stays in the backround, just like an aftertaste. Thanks to that you could easily wear it during the day, when feeling vampy. The longevity is very Jo Malone’esque - kinda meh, but it’s longlasting on the clothes. The sillage is moderate. If you feel like you want to swim in it, but the price is not awesome, then try ‘Velvet and Oud’ by Jenny Glow. It’s a pretty good dupe. The first 10 minutes there is something that smells a bit chemical and I was nopenopenope, but then it faded away and you pretty much have your Jo Malone for 10 something euros. It also smells very similar to Rose D’arabie edp by Armani Prive, but I feel that the rose in the Armani one is more piercing and not as velvety and balanced (but in the drydown these two are honestly very similar, the Armani one is more longlasting tho, but still pretty light). If you want a beastmode rose-oud, go for Oud Bouquet edp by Lancome, but that one is different, it’s a LOT sweeter and praline dominant. This is one of the first Jo Malone fragrances that I fell in love with especially when the “oud” trend started a few years ago. I started to wear this as an evening fragrance in the winter and had a lot of people say that it smells “strong but sexy take on a rose fragrance ” which I thought was interesting. Longevity on skin was around 2+ hours however that did not matter to me because I always had it in my bag so I would re-spray. I fell more in love with it when Jo Malone released the body oil and I decided to layer it with the cologne on a summer evening and it was too overwhelming because the oud really “heats up” on the skin and the rose completely fades away. I also bought this in a candle form which is absolutely gorgeous however it is not a scent in a candle that should burn for hours, light it up for 30 min and you will feel the scent linger around for hours. I wish that Jo Malone would make a lighter version of this cologne however Red Roses is also very beautiful and more suitable for an everyday scent. It takes a lot of confidence to wear this fragrance, you will definitely be the center of attention and hear feedback from people. Overall it is a masterpiece and I truly believe that it is one of the best Rose & Oud fragrances on the market

I am not a fan of oud (so far in my fragrance journey after having worn bright juicy rose fragrances my whole life and now loving dirty smoky roses) and hated Oud Satin Mood because it smelled like baby wipes to me. But the hype is real on this one, this is definitely a beginners oud. Initial spray is that slight baby wipe but with a warm earthy rose. In a couple minutes thankfully the baby wipe scent was gone and i could finally differentiate the oud. It is definitely a soft dry woody scent and although I wouldn't describe it as animallic, there was a depth that I couldn't quite describe as I'd never smelled it before. I liked it though, it's definitely NOT off putting if your scared of oud. Half an hour in and I was left with a deep delicious sophisticated women's dark rose with some praline and oud as support. This scent is not bright, nor smoky, nor too syrupy sweet from the praline. It is very well balanced and beautiful. 6+ hours. Might be a little mature for me (early 20s) but I can imagine myself reaching for this when I want to feel GROWN or like I have my shit together. This is a woman who knows what she wants and doesn't command attention or respect. By her very nature she just receives it.

I have this, JML Rose & White Musk, Armani Rose D’Arabie, MFK Oud Satin Mood, and frankly I can barely tell them apart. This is a lot milder and sweeter than those except for MFK OSM perhaps because of the wonderful praline note. I love this much better. The Rose D’Arabie is nice for the glittery things added to the perfume otherwise it’s basically the same with R&WM where the oud is stronger, more animalistic. MFK OSM is smoother and easier going with the oud and a bit sweeter. But it all come down to more or less the same scent. Take your pick and choose one or the other and don’t blind buy them all like me... lol.. Learn to use Frangratica. It might not be able to tell you everything but it surely does help make a more educated decision during this Covid-19 period. I’m just too strong willed and want to decide it on my own. This perfume is okay in term of silage. The longevity is more than 9hrs. To me its unisex because of the significant oud presence. Its useful for layering with other JML perfumes if you want to add some rose and oud to it. JML perfumes are usually weak on its own. Layering does help make it more interesting and can improve the silage.

Deep, rich, red rose, sharp spice, and a deep, dark fragrant hardwood with "tamed animal" oud right out of the gate. It reminds me of something between Creed's Royal Princess Oud and Le Labo Rose 31, but with a double shot of bold, red rose. One of my most beloved smells in the vast world of woody roses. The olfactory texture is like velvet, oozing with old money and sophistication. Pure fragrance pleasure for lovers of rose and deep, dark hardwood smells. The praline is perceptible, but barely; it's just enough to add a light touch of caramely sweetness to round out and feminize the composition. One of the loveliest rose oud fragrances created, if not the best in my opinion. Perfumery at its finest.11/10 Edit; wore again recently on a very cold day layered with Velvet Oud body lotion by B&BW. About 3 hours in, and for the rest of the day forward, the chocolatey praline note shone brightly. It was delicious and I was delighted to pick up on it. I believe it was a distinction between temperatures dictating how the praline note acts on the skin. Love this masterpiece so much! 🌹🪵💝🍫

As much as I love this fragrance, I will never pick up a full bottle, and eau de cologne for that price is insane, it smells amazing but I can barely smell it after half an hour. The rose is very strong at the opening and it smells reminiscent of your grandma's house. When the oud comes through it's lovely, the oud and rose combination is one that I love, this fragrance not revolutionary, the combination of oud and rose has been used many times, many better alternatives that last way longer. The drydown smells like raspberry jam with a bit of that depth lingering from the oud. Beautiful fragrance, opening to strong and unpleasant to over spray so not worth spraying more for it to last long. If oud and rose is something you like, find an alternative. Don't just buy for the brand name. Really beautiful fragrence, beautifuly blended, wish it lasted way longer than it does. Jo malone fragrances really seem to skimp out of oil concentration. If this was an edp or a parfum, then I would easily justify the price. But because of performance alone, 4/10

God this is so beautiful. It sets the standard for what a rose-oud should smell like. It's the perfect NON-SWEET, NON-FECAL rose-oud. I say this because a lot of the popular rose-ouds smell like a caramel sundae with a poopy rose in the background. That might be your jam, but it sure as heck isn't mine. This is a fresh, dewy rose with the green stems and all, and its got a subtle woody background. It dries down to be an incredibly elegant powdery-rose. I have had no issue with wearing this on a daily basis. While the scent is beautiful, this might also be the worst performing rose-oud I've ever had the pleasure of using, which is a feat in itself considering that rose and oud happen to be powerhouse notes. This very disappointing given the hefty price tag. After the first 3 hours, it sits very close to the skin and you'll practically forget you wore any perfume at all by the end of the day. I guess that's the caveat with Jo Malone. Overall, 7.5/10 Love the scent, but I will be on the hunt for better performing non-sweet rose-oud alternatives.

Edit: Okay, hold up. Something told me to spray on the back of my neck (😁) & some of it got on my beanie. Now I pick up the subtle jammy rose tht swafts over the the praline-oud. This made it a heart eyes 😻 from me! & also I feel like I can appreciate oud now! — Previously (on skin): It ends up smelling like Peony & Blush Suede towards the dry down (without the “apple & cherry?” question-feeling). On me, I didn’t get the “jammy rose” that many ppl mentioned before me. The rose is more of the very floral kind almost like the one in Agua Florida (might be due to the cloves-this might also give it a carnation twist like in P&BS) & not very fresh at all but also not too powdery/mineral-y. I noticed that when I misted farther away, more of the “velvet”/creamier scent revealed & the rose is more like a quiet accent that gives the scent its reddish undertone. I personally was hoping for more of the clove to come out, but I still enjoy this scent. It does have a powerful projection, so I will be misting less. Kx

The only Jo Malone fragrance I've sampled that actually didn't fade into oblivion within 60 seconds. I found a small, roll on vial with a tiny bit left in it, in a dark box, hidden away for years. It was nicely gifted to me by someone on this website over 10 years ago! Still going strong. I put "way too sweet and strong for me unfortunately" in the notes section originally. Wearing this now in the aircon and wow. It is intense. A beautiful velvet dark rose, sweet like chocolate, the oud giving it an edge enough to be gothic especially if worn with the right outfit. I can definitely imagine a beautiful woman in a long, black velvet gown wearing this. I wish I had a full vial of this as an entire bottle would last me several lifetimes, just like an immortal vampire. Also definitely too strong in the heat and sun to be spraying this dark beauty around. Might kill off a few innocents ;) edit: didn't notice the clove note before! This is definitely a glamorous gothic fragrance. 🖤🥀🌹

I used to call this “the panty dropper” because I wore it every date night. A female friend once asked me “what’s the best-smelling cologne you have?” And when I showed her this, her jaw dropped and she said, “holy shit!” I will always have a soft spot for this one, which projects better and lasts longer than Jo Malone’s reputation will suggest— I have found excellent results blending it with the Myrrh and Tonka as well, as the brand recommends. However, I will note that after three or four years of oxidation in the bottle, my perfume has retained its velvet rose but has entirely lost its oud character. It’s a pity, as that round and butterscotch gourmand oud note is the reason I kept reaching for the bottle in the first place. At least it proves that Jo Malone uses real ingredients.

This is a gorgeous and quite opulent scent. I absolutely love it. Its very strong at first but calms down quickly. As it dries down it becomes sweeter, but in a unisex way. Both myself and my son wear this - he sometimes combines in with his more masculine scents and I sometimes combine it with more feminine scents. My favourite is to blend it with JM rose blush. It smells more like a sweet amber than full on oud to me, but I'm an amber lover so it suits me perfectly. Once dried down completely, it has a hint of soft leather. Very similar on my skin to Must de Cartier. As with all JM scents, the trick is to spray on the skin straight after moisturising (or using the unscented lip balm hack) and then spraying a little onto clothing, then the longevity is far improved.

There’s a reason Velvet Rose & Oud always gets mentioned in discussions of rose/oud pairings. It’s just that good. The roses here are so dark, bolstered from below with the woodiness of oud. Praline grants some sweetness, leaning the composition more toward mainstream trends. Though, don’t take my use of “mainstream” as a dig against VR&O—this isn’t overly sweet like its rival, Lancôme’s Oud Bouquet; the praline just enhances its charm. To my nose, Jo Malone rarely releases magical elixirs like this. Serious, sensual, and seductive. Perfect for any gender, and due to its relatively quiet volume, appropriate for even warmer temperatures. I don’t often rush to repurchase when a bottle runs low, but this is one I wouldn’t want to live without. MUST-HAVE!

The rose is simply gorgeous. It's rich, realistic, dark, peppery and woody. The combination of rose and oud is one of the most notable, recognizable and iconic combos in the fragrance world. This was done just perfect. The rose opens up in the first seconds as a beautiful wet and realistic flower, and the oud accord adds some earthiness and elegance to it. The oud here is not "infected" like the Diptyque's oud, but is rather soft, woody and dry. It's blended very well. The base is some-what a sweet note (listed as praline) that I only detect softly at the end. It's not a sweet or vanilla-like perfume, instead it's mature, classic and a statement piece.

Comparing Vengeance Extreme to Velvet Rose & Oud: I have had Vengeance Extreme (Patchouli & rose) for a year now and it really is an excellent fragrance in terms of longevity. Fairly linear but as it's delicious, I see no harm in that. Yesterday I bought Jo Malone's Velvet Rose & Oud. Comparing them side by side, one on each wrist, VE lasted hours longer (8hrs plus to the VRO lasting around 4hrs) the main difference was in the dry down. VE has a rougher, skankier side (which is awesome) whereas VRO is far classier and more elegant. Initially they were quite similar but I am glad I have both as they show very different characters in the dry down.

I adore this fragrance. It is one of my all time favorites. Interestingly, I am usually not a big fan of ouds. This, however, has just the right balance of oud and jammy rose. Like eating a Turkish delight in a mosque- the Turkish delight is closest to the nose but you can smell men in oud cologne walking by in the distance. Many ouds remind me too much of older men at the mosque (looking at you, Raghba) but this is somehow quite feminine and wearable. Performance is excellent. The rose in this reminds me of the rose jam fragrance by Lush. This is also like a more feminine version of Lattafa Sheikh Al Shuyukh Luxe.

Dark, sexy and classic. Florals generally don’t agree with me, but this rose does; the oud grounds and sweetens it so it isn’t cloying, but the rose scent is thick and undeniable. It doesn’t smell especially complex to me, but it really delivers on both the notes in its name. I wore this to a 1920s-themed party and it felt just right—seductive in an old-fashioned sort of way, the way you might imagine a femme fatale in a noir movie to smell. Definitely an evening fragrance, for me, but it lasted all night and I occasionally found myself sniffing the air and wondering who smelled so good before realising it was me.

There are three kinds of rose ouds. 1.MFK Oud Satin Mood Very strong oud throughout all of its life. Not screechy, but not that good either. 2. Armani Prive Rose D'arabie Screechy rose and oud, drying down into a great rose. Quite Feminine. 3.Jo Malone Velvet Rose & Oud Fairly, this starts with screechy rose too, but only for 5 seconds. Afterwards, perfectly unisex, well blended, POWERHOUSE fragrance. I, as a man, love this fragrance for date nights. Also, when i use it daily, it gets me a TON of compliments. Took me a while to like, but now i just LOVE LOVE LOVE this.

I love this perfume, however I find that it doesn't last very long for the price. I first bought this perfume about 4 years ago and wore it religiously, however becoming vegan 3 years ago I stopped buying Jo Malone and discovered Eden perfumes who create vegan versions of originals and they are spot on. I am now wearing the Eden version of this perfume and it smells identical, however it is half the price and lasts so much longer. I only thought I would make people aware as it last so much longer than the original, which seems to be an issue.

Do NOT smell this fragrance, after you do no other rose product is going to be enough and smell good In all seriousness though it's everything I've been looking for. Imagine a cloudy foggy day, sophisticated lady in gothic style red dress and long black hair walking up some castle stairs that are surrounded by a lot of dark roses and trees without leaves. It's such a dark and seductive, sexy smell that would allure me right in if i smelled it on someone. Not too strong, not too light just perfect, i just wish it wasn't so expensive 💔

When I tried this I loved it immediately. Its a sweet jammy rose with depth. People say that it's a very good beginner oud and I'd agree. It's not animalic in any way shape or form. It was my signature scent last winter and I felt absolutely fine wearing around my young baby as its not overpowering. I've had lots of samples from Jo Malone and this is by far my favourite along with myrrh and tonka and performs really well with good longevity. It's a little heavy for summer though which is why my search for an all rounder continues.

I like to apply the Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede lotion on my neck and spray the Velvet Rose and Oud on top of it. I find this gives the scent more longevity and more depth - a hauntingly beautiful combo. I think that Jo Malone fragrances are meant to be paired so that you can warm it up, freshen it up, spice it up, etc. to your liking. When you get only one, it is kind of like getting half a fragrance - so yes it will read a bit linear and flat. I appreciate this ability to be a little creative depending on my mood.

It's ok nothing to scream about. On my skin it disappears quickly but that's the case with more perfumes of Jo Malone. It's more the strength of a body mist completely in line with what the people want in a perfume nowadays. It's quite masculine also and not that unique at least that is my experience. So i have put my bottle on sale because i'm bored with it already. I like my perfumes loud and screaming the bower bomb of the 80 90ties. That's perfume for me not the weak juice they sell now with a very high price tag.

I first tried this five years ago in Sydney and fell in love with the most intoxicating, creamy rose scent I have ever smelt. Unfortunately, it was a bit pricy at the time as it was only available in 100mls. That said, the little paper testing strip rested faithfully in my bedside drawer for the next five years, reminding me that one day I should purchase a bottle. Finally that day arrived! I was a bit nervous - hoping that I hadn’t imagined the smell to be better than it was! It was just as amazing though!!

Was on the search for Wuthering Heights inspired fragrances when I found a sample roll-on of this jammy rose beauty. I can't stand most Jo Malone fragrances and find them way overpriced so a huge thank you to whoever gifted me this years ago. One tiny roll-on lasts forever on skin. Smells exactly like the over the top, gorgeous method dress outfits Margot Robbie has been wearing at the movie presses. Absolutely beautiful. I can definitely imagine wearing this with a black, Gothic romantic lacey dress 🌹 🖤 ♥️

Oh my gosh...this fragrance is so good, you guys! I feel WOMAN. Do not be afraid of the oud, Beginner Fragrance Nerds. It is beauty in a bottle. I literally waited 10 seconds after spraying this on a card, to spray this all over me. I am in fragrance bliss. This is a very rosey scent, with a beautiful velvety oud underneath, to make this a deep and sophisticated fragrance. Leans feminine, as this is a slightly sweet rose bouquet. Makes me so happy. I cannot wait for the dry down.

What I love about this Rose scent is, its woody, smoky which gives the scent a dark touch and makes it very sexy mysterious way. Another reason i love about this scent is, it s not too floral. And if you want it to be a bit more naughty and sensual, just pair with the Bronze and leather..... Imagine yourself wearing nothing but a leather outfit and you have rose petals falling on you. Thats how i picture myself when i put these 2 scents together and its very seductive =)

Rose and Oud together isn't revolutionary, nor is it something I haven't sampled over a variety of different formulations. But it's in Velvet Rose and Oud that I find something plush and syrupy sweet. The Oud adds something sensual and mature while the praline gives the two main accords something to lie back on a linger in, like it's been lounging all day in a day bed with silk sheets. Velvet Rose is alluring and I am always getting compliments whenever I wear it.

This is a good rose for a guy to wear. Not as feminine as delina but has Delina vibes. It's darker but warm and cozy, has a musculine assertion to it. Dryer oud compared to osm, not exactly like osm either. It's JM style of oud so you won't get turned off either and it's easier to wear than some westernized oud scents. Not that sweet either and the praline is just nice, didn't make it gourmandy either. Easily one of the top few(3-5) JM intense. Glad I got this.

Jammy rose with smokie oud in the background. Very beautiful and smells expensive. The oud is subtle here, the rose is sweet and syrupy, not a fresh green rose. Best on winter, but I wear this on summer with no problem. It lasts about 5-6 hours, definitely stronger than typical Jo Malone cologne. It is 70% similar to Oud Satin Mood. OSM is way stronger, smokier and has powdery vanilla. JM Velvet Rose Oud is a softer version of OSM, more rosy and fresher.

Fabulous! Elegant, classy, stylish, and full of personality yet simple and sophisticated at the same time. It’s perfect for everyday wear, with a moderate projection that melts into the skin, leaving a velvety scent. It’s basically rose and oud, with a hint of vanilla. It might remind you a bit of Gentle Fluidity Gold, but it’s less sweet. I love it, longevity is over 6 hours on my skin, and for me, it’s a solid 10/10 but no sillage.

What a beautiful blend of oud and rose, if you love the smell of dark velvet roses then pick it up. Performance is top notch and smoothness like butter what can we ask more. For the price its justify the fragrance because its not smell synthetic to me its a creamy velvety rose and agarwood blended with a hint of clove to it. Its lean more towards feminine because rose is dominant till end but because of oud a man can wear it too. 🖤❤

A mans perspective: I love this scent. I am bringing home a vial sample for my wife to test it on her, but at the store, it blew me away. Classy, seductive, beautiful, strong, but not too strong. Its floral without smelling like ALL of the other floral frags. The cashier sprayed some on the bow attached to the box (bought something else), and I am still smelling it. I wont leave my wife alone if she is smelling like this!!!

My absolute favorite from Jo Malone. I read below it smells like Rose Jam from Lush. That is the best description of the fragrance. I was “that customer” who went online and demanded Lush make a Rose Jam perfume. Needless to say they didn’t listen... So I found myself running to buy this fragrance. The blend of the Oud is so hidden I barely detect it. And I know what Oud smells like even the Oud that the Sheikh wear... lol.

Excellent rose scent but not as good as Armani Prive Rose D’Arabie. But this is less than half the price. The Armani scent is more pure rose so it is more unisex while the oud in this one makes it a tad more masculine. Like most Jo Malone scents, limited projection and longevity are issues as is the high price. Thankfully I went on eBay and got a 3.4 oz. bottle for less than $100 (I never pay full price for scents).

Rose and oud are the two of my most hated notes, usually. However, this one is so well blended and not cloying. It is sweet and complex, in a very sophisticated and memorable way. It does resemble Rose d'Arabie by Armani Privé quite a lot, but I remember leaving that one in the store shelf a few years ago due to the heaviness of it. This is a more pleasing and more gourmand version of that, checks all my boxes!

This is real quality in a bottle ...the mix of the notes is great i was not an oud arabian fragrance lover... i even hate to smell that in your face oud type of perfumes .. but this one ! It's very unique. the scent screams elegance ..the combination is top quality a perfect rose oud combination in my opinion if you want to smell like a royal arabian princess

It's one of my personal favorite Oud+Rose combos. Very luxurious feeling with this. not too much jammy-sweet type rose. It's a true woody blended rose for me. bit of sweetness within it. Decent niche type of JML. and projection and longevity are high because of this is an intense line of the JML family. love it. My type of Rose+Oud Scent.

Likeable rose & oud. I have a full bottle that was gifted to me, and I can't wait to spritz it in the colder weather!! :D It's an okay option for someone who can tolerate this classic combo but is not ready to fully commit to an Arabian experience. For everyone else, there are cheaper and more potent options out there!

When I first smelled this, I didn’t love it. But at the time I was used to smelling and wearing airy fragrances like gypsy water, and BR 540. I pulled it out every once in a while to reassess and liked it more and more to the point of obsession. This fragrance makes me emotional it’s so good. It’s extremely special.

A beautiful realistic red rose, dipped in praline sweetness with a hint of smoky oud and spices. Not overpowering, but perfect for everyday wear. I’m editing to add that the sweetness can be a little heavy and cloying for summer. This is a cold weather fragrance. Great lasting power for a Jo malone scent.

The rose is definitely strong here, combined with the oud so beautifully. Not suitable for younger girls as it is very sexy. It almost smells like dried fruits in the beginning and then dries down to more grounding thicker woody notes. Perfect for nights and winter times, could be too much in summer.

Basically rose with a deep oud base. To me it smells like lush rose jam mixed with an oud cologne. But it’s so good! Not the best performing for me in terms of projecting and lasting through the day, but I can always smell when other people are wearing it. Also lovely for cooler weather.

A safe rose & oud scent hence why it's my daily wear! It's deep, velvety, creamy with a polite welcome. A great option to anyone who wants to try out oud. Stays almost all day on my skin but sillage resides by time still (half-day through and I will usually reapply).

I’m getting MFK Oud Satin Moud with less baby powder and more jammy rose. It’s perfect. If you want to try a rosy oud but you’re not sure where to start, I feel like this fragrance is a safe bet. This is much lighter and sweeter to me than Lancôme Oud Bouquet.
