Wild Strawberry & Parsley

This is one of the prettiest “fruity florals” I’ve had the pleasure of smelling. There are now probably thousands out there and I’ve smelled a couple hundred or so... Bright Crystal, Gucci Bamboo, the list goes on and on. But this one is somehow unique from the rest, and impeccably well done, as only Jo Malone could do. The strawberry note is naturally juicy, there’s no artificial sweeteners or syrups in here. There’s a greenness, I’d dare say it’s actually the tomato leaf I smell more than parsley. The sillage and longevity are the only fault I have with this fragrance, and why I don’t have it marked as a love. It is pretty light, and not worth the asking price of some ebay sellers. But this fragrance continues to put a smile on my face every single time I smell it, and for that I’d say it’s worth it for me to keep reapplying. If you ever get a chance to sample it, or find a good deal on a partial, this one’s worth the effort! And I can’t stop smiling!

I am gutted that it is limited edition as (and I echo previous reviewer) this is the first green scent ever that is working on me! I get very strong tomato leaf note with blackcurrant, parsley and basil in the background. Just delicious. But it get no strawberry whatsoever. I usually go for florals (and mainly white floral) and from this limited edition it wasn't surprising that I first bought Nasturtium and Clover which is much sweeter but I now prefer Wild Strawberry and Parsley. In fact, love it so much that I sometimes go to bed wearing it... Weird, I know:))

This is one of the only perfumes I've ever found that doesn't go sour or bitter on my skin. The initial spray is a little tangy and spicy, and then it dries down to an incredibly soft, almost musky and powdery scent that is the perfect balance of clean and green. Not too sweet or heavy. Lasts for HOURS!!!! I have no idea what the other person said about longevity. I sprayed this on me in the morning for work and it's still lingering, 11 hours later. I absolutely love it.

After sampling all the scents in the Herb Collection, this was the only one that made me buy the bottle. And, while sometimes I'll buy a scent and later wonder what I was smelling that made me like it in the first place, this one got better with each wear. For me, it lasts much longer than other Jo Malone scents. Consistently complimented.

Another my fave, its herby and green at the first spritz, then it turned into sweetly strawberry yet bitter coriander. Especially after shower, it smells super great! Feels like walking in the morning at garden full of morning grass and eating bread with strawberry jam.. Sadly only one small size and limited edt .. 😐

Beautiful fresh sweet herbal. Lots of tomato leaf, sweetened with light berry and violet. A delightful warm-weather scent. Not a lot of longevity or sillage: suitable when you don't want your fragrance to linger after you are gone. This reminds me a bit of Jo Malone's other lovely fragrance "Rain and Angelica."

This is a beautiful fresh, green scent with the soft strawberry note shining through. I love it and wish, please, please it would come back permanently (in 100ml bottle). I wish I had bought more as I need a backup.

My absolute favorite perfume. I don't love the first 10-15 mins of it on my skin because it has a sharp green scent that is a little bit intense, but after it dries down it is so yummy, fresh and clean smelling.

Love love love. A herby, green tomato leaf. it's not an Italian vine tomato, but more of a green tomato, which is still not fully ripe yet. So fresh, so green, so lovely. Perfect for spring and summer.

Falling into the sea by Imaginary Authors is so similar to this. For anybody looking for a bright, tangy fruity and herbal scent, that's my suggestion!

Fantastic! and smells soooo good on my skin! Even though it doesn't last long, I don't regret buying it!

While I didn't think I would love love this due to how herbal it is, that just goes to having such a photorealistic "garden green". I get visions of the sprays from the super market vegetable section, sunny walks in the park, and damp greenhouses in the colder months. I love the outdoors and this is such a soft rendition on herbs, and while the strawberry and black current don't project much on me; they bring such a sweetness that balances and just sinks into my skin. This is a rare Jo Malone hit for me. (Also the Oilperfumery rendition is a great dupe and last very well throughout the day)

This is a very light (almost gone in a flash) fragrance. It is really quite pretty though it has that candy-floss strawberry sweetness with a very subtle herbal backdrop. I would say this is possibly aimed at a younger person than me but that said, I think this is perfect for anyone as we come into spring. Light, fresh, pretty although not heart-stoppingly unique.

This is a great scent. Fresh parsley with a hidden, sweet strawberry note. The problem with this is that it is very light. No one is going to notice it, not even you, unless they bury their face in your skin. Even then, it is very faint. Not worth the money IMO.

I was lured in by the premise of strawberry and fresh green garden scent. But this perfume, on me, is a huge disappointment. No discernible strawberry whatsoever. Pure parsley from initial spray until hours later, and not even a nice green fresh parsley but a spicy dirty parsley that never evolves or gives me anything else from it no matter how desperately I sniff and try to find it. People complain about Jo Malone fragrances not lasting but the ones I havent liked seem to linger until they can be washed off. Im really sad that for me this one didn't have any of the pretty strawberry or tomato leaf that other people pick up on.

I wanted to like this one, but it just didn't do anything for me... Felt like I was smelling something at a great distance, not like some of Jo Malone's other soft fruit/spicy herb concoctions (Wild Fig & Cassis OMG) Zero depth in this one for me, slight berry undertone but really didn't take me to where I'd hoped it would.

ok, yes, imagine a full strawberry, going top to bottom this is how it smells like: the opening captures the green strawberry top/head, moving down to the joint that's still white and slightly unripe, and further down is a juicy red strawberry, making a cut in the middle u r faced with the most balanced sweet and acidic combo w musk. one of the best scents i have come across in the past few years. upon initial spray, it's bitter green for literally 2 seconds before bringing out the fruity facet. tangy, juicy, acidic, non-sweet strawberries, imagine unripe and still white at the stem but dark red at the bottom. there's lots of hidden florals here, i think there's definitely some combo of a violet+leaves combo and jasmine potentially + for some reason i get a faint raspberry or a berry. i can't necessarily smell parsley, but the opening does remind me of the bitterness of angelica. mid-drydown is definitely softly musky in a cloud of violet leaves. wow, yeah this is really tangy. as far as the comparisons with zoologists's cow, yes, i agree that if there was one scent capturing the vibe of this would be cow, except u can tell right away that cow is an apple type of fruity, whereas this is not as sharp/crisp and this has more florals. also, there's a dusty herbal/medicinal facet in cow that's absent here, almost like a rosemary/eucalyptus. the dewiness and the freshness of ws&p definitely does remind me of le jardin monsieur li.

Went into this because I was curious about the strawberry note, which is here if you search for it, but solely in the background-my skin loves the tomato leaf most of all. Absolutely more of a herb garden profile, which is perfect for the high heat where I feel like I'm walking into a pool whenever I open the front door and have to brave the humidity. Standard Jo Malone longevity and sillage (so nonexistent) but earthy enough to be delightfully offbeat from a lot of other freshies. Will also second the comment suggesting the Oil Perfumery dupe-I own it and a small decant and they're virtually identical, which is helpful since this is discontinued and those decants won't last forever.

I suspect this one blooms differently on different people. I ended up getting 2 bottles because it is quite unique on me. I don't normally like strawberry notes, but this one was superb. I tested it at Nordstrom and forgot about until later in the day, when I kept getting a whiff of the most delicious scent, and realized it was this. Upon testing, I first got a hit of parsley and general green herb (tomato leaf?) but, for once, a green note that works on me! The fresh, sweet strawberry soon follows, but it doesn't overwhelm the green herbal. All that fades into the oakmoss and musk combo, but the fruit and herb never really go away completely. Too bad this one is LE.
