Signature Rose & Musk

I was not terribly impressed with this when I bought it. I am not a rose fan in general, but wanted to have a rose in my collection. I started wearing this in February for Valentines Day. I did not wear it 2 days ago and missed it. I wore only a body oil yesterday and missed this scent. My husband cannot smell it, my son is indifferent to it, but I seem to be addicted. This is a warm, comforting fragrance. The rose and musk are prominent, blended beautifully by rosewood and other florals. I do think the rose slightly sharp but I still want to wear it and smell it. Will I enjoy this in warm weather, possibly not, but right now this is my scent of choice. Worth every cent of the $12.99 I paid for it.

Perfect light clean rosewater with a touch of soft woody incense. This reminds me of walking in my gran's rose garden as a child, favorite fresh rose. If you love real roses, you will love this.

I blind bought this at least 6 months ago. I decided to wear it today. With the initial few sprays, I didn't care for it. To my nose, it smelled like veggies sauteing, lol. As it settled on my skin, the rose began to come alive! The vegetable salad smell began to dissipate--leaving behind a clean, yet, dirty rose. Also, in the dry down, the white flowers began to come alive; and dance upon my skin. Nice! Additionally, Rose and Musk layers well too. I decided to layer it with B & BW Rosewood Smoke. These two complemented each other superbly. Stressing the rose note and the subtle musk--great combination. The silage and longevity are moderate. Rose and Musk is appropriate for easy-going daytime activities, such as: the office, grocery shopping, or the gym. Not a safe blind-buy!

This is classic and beautiful! I used to think I didn’t like a rose fragrance but then realized I just didn’t like when rose fragrances smelled like a bowl of potpourri (I’m looking at you Delina 🤣) To be honest, this kind of does smell like that also, but yet I’m entranced. It’s light, somewhat creamy, and fresh like a rose scented lotion. It’s not dry and I enjoy that! I went through a stage in my late teens when I was super into a Victorian-esque aesthetic (think Bridgerton) and this totally reminds me of that! I think I would have to be in a super girly mood to wear it, but it is so pretty, soft and feminine! I agree, it smells a bit synthetic and a tad inexpensive but I still like it! Gardenia and oud is the best in the line but this has its charms.

While you smell the light rose🌹, the musk doesn't linger or leave a trail. In my honest opinion, there are room sprays that last longer. On my girlfriend's skin, it lasted about 40 minutes at most. On my skin, it lasts nearly an hour and few minutes. I didn't know what to expect from a $10 purchase from Ross but it wasn't this. Jones has other well perfoming scents with lasting power (Signature Gardenia and Oud) but this is not one of them. In hindsight, Roses and Musk felt rushed and synthetic in all the wrong ways. The rose smelled like a Claire's body mist that my preteen niece would wear. The musk was dampened from the oil content not being blended well. More honestly, go to the store and purchase a Rose 🌹 room spray or Body Mist. This is not worth your time or money. Ladies, spend the extra money on a proper Rose Musk fragrance. I suggest (4) Roses Musk/Intense Roses Musk by Montale, Velvet Rose by Lattafa and Miss Dior Blooming by Dior Scent: 1/10 Performance: 1/10 Value: 2/10 Overall: 4/30

This a green rose with some florals. The rosewood does give it a rose incensy light feel. So comforting and beautiful.
