Joop! Homme Le Parfum

The King Is Really Back!!!?? Rarely ever or I almost never fall for most of the fake youtube hyping of perfumes and artificial pumping of certain brands! I only trust my nose, because it's the only one who knows what I like and what suits me, and I would never blindly buy a whole bottle on someone's recommendation! This time the Hype for Joop Le Parfum is real! Literally The King is Back! I don't know if I'm the only one here, but these are small victories for me - when you get something like this for a great price! When I tested it live for the first time, I immediately bought a 125ml bottle online and I don't regret anything for a ridiculous €35! People would pay much more for such a scent profile - of course, if they didn't know it was "regular" Joop! Personally, I have no problems with names and brands, and simply if the smell suits me and it says Old Spice or Creed, I don't care (I'll only have a lot more money if it says the first :) ) The perfume itself - in addition to the beautiful bottle with thick glass and golden letters and strong dark liquid - smells really Top! Initial spray or immediately after application, do not stick your nose in the place of spraying (it can be too strong and consequently repels!) But after just a minute or two, it rewards you with an extremely nice profile scent! Pure lavender, powdery iris, gourmet praline and tonka make such a good effect around you - that anyone who says they don't smell it - is lying!!! I would say that it is literally made just to collect compliments and a magnet for positivity! A mixture of Armani-Stronger With You/C.Dior-Homme Intense/Paco R.-One Million Royal/Givenchy-Gentlemen... Ps: One Million copied this profile completely, because Joop was the first to make this beauty! I can conclude with a calm heart and honestly say that this winter and for the holidays it is definitely in the current active rotation in the Top 5 of my perfumes! (And I don't have a small collection :) )

Sexy, sweet, vanilla and iris. Not much more to say about this absolute bomb of a fragrance. I'm not a lover of the original Joop Homme however I bought Joop Homme Wild and it became one of my best blind buys to date. On first impressions it certainly has a similarity to Joop Homme Wild in its sweetness and a kind of fruitiness. Safe to say I'm delighted that it doesn't take much inspiration from the original. The scent is like a more playful version of Homme Wild (an already playful scent) with ramped up sweetness and a sophisticated Iris note which is not one I'm privee to like a lot of people. The vanilla combined with sweetness and iris make this a heavenly scent up close and even better in its sillage. I can see how this could be construed as a unisex scent although for me I would say it slightly leans more masculine although I can certainly see a younger woman wearing this similarly to One Million EDT. Certainly suited for dates or clubbing in my opinion as its a very playful and loud fragrance. Performance is absolutely beastly and lasts the best part of 12hrs on my skin and projects heavily for 5hrs for me. Compliments are going to come very easily whilst wearing this scent as it's fun, sweet and loud which in my experience garner lots of compliments from women. A scent this reminds me of is Uomo Signature by Ferragamo and One Million EDT. This has a twist on both of those scents with the iris note so if you like the fragrances listed aswell as iris, you cannot go wrong with this scent. In conclusion a phenomenal fragrance in terms of performance and sweetness. Not a particularly masculine offering but it certainly has its uses in date situations and the coldest of winter days. Definitely worth a blind buy if you like sweet, vanilla scents.

I have had this fragrance in my collection for a few weeks now, and, in my opinion; the best floral scent I've owned. The iris and lavender in this fragrance basically make up its entirety, and it is just fantastic. In my mind, before I got this I thought it'd just be similar to DHI, which I've smelled before, and DHI is a fair amount sweeter with more of a lipsticky vibe to it, which can make it come off as a bit more feminine. This fragrance, in my opinion, is more masculine, less sweet, and the lavender is quite prominent. You have to wait a bit of time to get down to the vanilla, praline, and tonka. Speaking of time, the performance in this is actually great. I've owned the EDP of this, and although this lasts longer on my skin than the EDP, it projects a little less. With the EDP I'd get a solid 8 - 9 hours of longevity, with 3 hours of strong projection that could literally fill the room. With this, I get around 10 - 11 hours with 2 hours of fair projection which my family could smell a few feet away, then after that it just gets softer until around 6 hours where it just becomes a skin scent. At that point the praline and vanilla is most prominent, at least on my skin. This fragrance is overall fantastic, I do love it, and it is very masculine and mature, not everybody can pull it off though and I don't think it is exactly mass appealing, though a decent few may like it. More mature than the EDP, and just simply better than the EDT in every aspect. Personally, this is an 8.5/10. It'd be a 10/10 if it had stronger projection. Objectively I think, people will see this as at least a 9/10.

Joop! Home Le Parfum is one of my latest acquisitions. This is a very, very nice fragrance, totally different from the old pink monster EDT and also from the newer EDP! This is a cold weather fragrance and since we are in a warm month of May here. I only tested it at home. I did however spray it twice in the evening around 9pm, went to sleep, and in the morning at 7am I was still able to smell it off my skin. after a couple of hours it does become powdery. Don't get confused by other's opinions here - this smells nothing like Stronger with you! It has no almond or nut, no cinnamon! Is it very sweet? Yes, but not overly sweet. It's a shame that nowadays everything that is sweet gets automatically compared to SWY. Also, the iris blasts from the beginning but it doesn't last for long. The fragrance is pretty much pure sweetness with a touch of vanilla/tonka and then powder. Personally, I can't really sense much of a praline. In terms of projection, I think it will do well for the first 2-3 hours and then will stay closer to the skin. This might actually be a good thing, considering that it is very sweet might have exactly that attraction factor that makes the other person come closer to you to catch another whiff off you. Sure, if you already have SWY, Dior Homme or even something like D&G The One, then Joop! Le Parfum might seem a counter-intuitive choice but it's still a very nice fragrance. I see it working well for romantic dates and night outs which don't require a lot of importance and solemnity. It's a playful one 🙂

This fragrance ive owned for a while and picked up for £26.99, I would say its a good fragrance that is quite interesting and unique, its not something you smell often and definitely is a good iris fragrance that fills that spot in my collection. As for smell its mainly an iris floral with a smooth vanilla and a touch of sweetness throughout, it has depth and leaves me smelling it over and over trying to pick things out as its very well blended. Id recommend this if your looking for an iris fragrance. I find it to be clean and not overly sweet making this almost airy but due to the parfum concentration it isn’t. Performance is surprisingly long, the sillage is above average and projects nicely, this paired with a longevity of 12+ hours makes it a nice pick up for the price point. For when it can be worn, due to the florals it can definitely be pulled off in day and night but CANNOT be worn in summer imo but since its quite unique it can just be worn whenever. So yeah just a semi fresh and florally fragrance with a sweet and smooth vanilla smell that is nice and long lasting. Current Rating would be a 7.8/10

All these negative reviews goes to show that fragrance can be SO SUBJECTIVE because I am IN LOVE with this one! Sweet, aromatic lavender opening up to a lovely, slightly lipsticky iris in the heart with a dry down that's flat out gorgeous!! I've owned my bottle for close to 6 months and the scent has definitely smoothed out and "calmed down" a lot. Now what I get is a sexy dance between the aromatic lavender, the lipsticky iris and the combo of sweet, creamy praline, vanilla and tonka in the base. This is date night, close encounter, "yeah, that's me smelling sweet and sexy" type of juice. My advice, AS ALWAYS: 1) get it 2) spray it 10-20 times 3) let it sit for a few weeks to a few months 4) come back and enjoy. This one took some time, but it's macerating into something lovely. If you want a fresh out the box spray and go scent, then this may be a bit too sweet for you right out the gate. But again, a little patience in perfumery will have you smelling your loveliest!! Enjoy and be fragrant my friends.

I bought this fragrance with zero expectations. I never owned any other Joop! Products aside from the edt (almost 20 years ago) previously, but after reading the note breakdowns and the comparison to SWY, I said .. why not, what can go wrong with a $30 (75 ml) purchase. For budget prices, I actually enjoy doing blind buys like this! And then it all started to show: this is very good quality for a fraction of the cost, if this had been sold by other "premium" brands it would for sure be sold at least 5 times more. This is a nice spicy sweet scent, similar to the OG EDT but with added notes and a far better blending of the materials.. which do not change the dna dramatically but also do not remind one of the EDT. It will last forever, so the 10-12 hours mark can be reached easily and will project about an arms reach too. The strong projection surprised me considering this is a parfum concentration. This is definitely a budget priced gem that deserves far more love than it currently gets.

Somewhat confusingly named and packaged - strikingly similar to Eau de Parfum launched a year prior. Neither are flankers of the original, polarising Joop! Homme, being classier and infinitely more wearable. I bought both Le Parfum and Eau de Parfum within a few weeks of each other - I adore both and can't decide, if pushed to it, which I prefer. Le Parfum has the "sweetness" Joop! is (in)famous for but those who despise the original pink stuff shouldn't be put off trying this (although I'm sure many will). Vanilla and Iris are unusual notes among my current 60+ bottle collection and Le Parfum has a lushness that will likely make it an ongoing favourite, especially in seasons other than summer (Eau de Parfum has a "nutty" note that is also distinctive and unusual in my personal experience). Both absolute winners, but unlikely to receive the attention or love they deserve, as the Joop! branding is enough on its own to dissuade many from affording them an opportunity to impress.

Okay, so. My bottle is from 02-23, with one spray on my arm longevity is 7 hours on unmoisturized skin, so could push to 8 or 9, depends on the weather too, projection seems good for the first 1-2 hours, not bad at all. The first 10-15 minutes of this fragrance are hard to like to me, it smells extremely lipsticky and waxy, then it settles down and the other notes start to show up. I can mostly detect Vanilla and Iris though, the lipsticky feeling never leaves the fragrance on my skin. It's not bad by any means but it's VERY sweet, probably one of the sweetest fragrances I own together with Mercedes Benz Club Black, and that one is a Vanilla-Incense bomb. I'm sure this would be good for fall and winter to go to parties, clubbing or even date nights, I can picture how girls may like this. It's a...7.5/10 to me. EDIT: I tried it again on my arm and I could faintly smell it still after 12 hours, this is insanely long-lasting.

I have no clue what some people are smelling in the reviews below, but this smells absolutely gorgeous! I do believe fragrance is subjective, and sometimes different batches smell differently, so I’ll describe what is coming out of my bottle. I get a beautiful blend i of sweet praline vanilla, slightly lipsticky iris, a soft, aromatic lavender and a creamy tonka bean. The iris definitely leans forward in the composition. It’s sweet in the initial spray, but the sweetness simmer down, and the overall experience revolves around the iris, lavender and smooth, delectable praline and vanilla. The dry down is so lovely. As always, get it, spray it, let it sit, then come back to it. Immediate, ultimate conclusions on fragrance scent and performance is a sure way to miss out on something beautiful. #justmy2centsonscents

Sweet, velvety, powdery, vanilla, chocolate lipstick. This one is unisex and actually reminds me a bit of JPG's Le Male Le Parfum due to the iris, vanilla, and lavender notes. Whereas JPG's fragrance is light and spicy, this one has a kind of dark, classy, liminal vibe to it, imagine going to an Ulta Beauty store in a mall with your mother when you were a kid and smelling the makeup. This dark tone is brought about by the praline note, which acts as a kind of grounding piece for the sweetness of the vanilla and iris. It smells like a hug from a wise old woman. This fragrance is very beautiful and long lasting, just be sure not to spray too much of it or you will start choking people out, causing them to sneeze, or get headaches. 3-4 max will have you covered all day long.

Reeeeealy nice fragrance. Nothing like the original or EDP. It has this iris and smells like you blended 70% stronger with you and 30% invictus victory elixir. Very very well done, sweet bit NOT as ppl are saying. Not cloying dusty sweet that is choking you but smooth, silky iris vanila almost coconuty sweet. Lasts 12 hours easily. Is it better then OG. For sure. Than EDP? Id say yes but they are both worth having as EDP is toned down modernized origi al with tons of hazelnut. A nutty chocolatey sweet where the parfum is more vanilla sweet. Love it. For the price, this and edp for fall and winter are must haves. If you love OG Stronger with you, but more refined and smooth, with beast mode performance... for cheap, you really want this.

Joop Powerhouse! This is Joop! Homme but more exuberant and noticeable. Definitely Joop! DNA all throughout the opening to the dry-down and it lingers on and on....great sillage, projection and longevity. This is a more refined, more honed, better crafted Joop! Homme. Quite sweet but totally enamored in beautiful continuos wafts of wonderful fruity and light floral accords that IS Joop! The Iris, lavender and vanilla shine through very well on a breezy cloud of praline (the origins of it sweetness) The tonka bean is there in the background mixing well to deliver more than notable Joop DNA. If you're already a fan of Joop! fragrances then this one will seductively ease into your collection to stand proud as a warm favourite amongst them.

Most beautiful iris centred perfume ever. I love Givenchy and Dior Homme Intense but I still prefer this one. 10/10, It's just so warm and cosy, you feel so happy when smelling this. This could be packed as an elixir version of Givenchy and people would loose their mind over the internet. With Joop branding it remains perfect for gatekeeping, I just hope they will never discontinue. Someone mentioned it's similar to Gris Charnel? I have not smelled that one, but I can tell Le Parfum also has a black tea note at the top, just not listed. You can get this 125ml for as low as $30. I'm pretty sure this is the best deal on drugstore french made perfume ever

Joop! Homme Le Parfum has surprised me. I'm not a fan of the original or the other flankers, but the parfum is really good. It's a classy, sweet iris fragrance. The sweetness comes from the vanilla and praline, making it quite gourmand but without being cloying. The opening is a bit scratchy, but that soon passes and the drydown is where it excels. It's warm, sexy, and alluring, and is perfect for evening wear. The sillage is impressive, as is the longevity. Another positive is that it's very affordable and great value for money. If you like sweet iris, you'll love this. 8.5/10. **Don't spray it on white clothing. The red perfume dye will stain**

A modern masterpiece IMO, and for the price, it’s an 10/10 amazing fall/winter/cold spring fragrance. In the opening I almost smell a very sweet masculine lavender cedarwood (cedarwood scent i pick up is very similar to the cedar of dior sauvage, for people who are curious). Masculine, sweet, floral with hints of woodbines throughout. Lasts long and has above average projection. This dark purple juice has some powerful feelings to it for sure. Performance: 8.5/10 Winter: 10/10 Fall: 9/10 Spring: 8/10 Summer: 2/10 (wear MAX 2 sprays in summer if this is your signature fragrance) Price: 9/10 Scent: 8.5/10 Overall: 9/10

Incredible! I did not expect such an amazing smell from Joop! I have stronger with you intensely by armani and it smells very similar, but I prefer the joop! It's so smooth and even more well-rounded. The iris doesn't overpower the fragrance and intertwines with the caramel mix really well (vanilla, tonka, praline). Perfect if you don't already have the sweet gourmand DNA of the likes of SWY and the new 1 million, the most wanted parfum and so forth. Easily prefer this over them with the softness of iris in it. Try it out! you'll be surprised. Awesome fragrance for such a low cost, you get everything.

I use and have used many colognes, mostly cheapies, with a few moderately priced ones. Winter fragrances, spring freshies, some clones, ozonic stuff, fruity stuff, vintage stuff. I'm all over the place. Variety is the spice of life. With that being said, Joop! Homme Le Parfum is my favorite cologne of all time. It is gourmand and spicy. It is sweet but sexy. It is absurdly long lasting. And although I do like the pink Joop Homme EDT, they are similar in name and bottle shape only. Le Parfum is way more serious than the EDT. It is rich beyond belief, and projects hugely. A grand fragrance.

Great stuff, This definitely have the same DNA as Armani stronger with you, but not the same . I find it more pleasant actually because it is not so sticky as SWY yet gives you a good performance for at least 8 hours. Silage is moderate which is great , otherwise it would have been another migraine fragrance from joop, which is not the case here Longevity 8hrs + Complexity 4/5 Richness 5/5 thanks to the soft silage . It still reminds you of the original Joop ! But with a nicer silage and little sweetness that makes is seductive and appealing to younger generations.

Honestly, all the reviewers before me that said this could pass as 'Stronger with You Iris' flanker aren't too far off the mark. This is pretty much what I would assume that fragrance would be like (if it existed). It just has that SWY lavender-y sweetness, with a touch of iris, and a nice dry down. Not a bad fragrance at all, and definitely not what I was expecting from it. I sampled it first, and honestly for the price it is a great deal. Performance is good. Good reactions from anyone that mentioned it to me (compliments don't always come my way, I'm ugly af).

Incredible scent, stellar performance. Stronger with You's sweet spicy vanilla with Dior Homme Iris (not as prominent, just the right amount). Could be a flanker of Stronger with You, Dior Homme, Most Wanted or Spice Bomb. Although "flanker material", it's quite original and worth the smell. If you like the scents I mentioned above, you should at least sample this. You will not regret. Update 12/26/2025: Wearing this again today after wearing Kaayan Classic from Al Wataniah, another Iris centric fragrance. Joop! Le Parfum is miles better, another level.

If you have a Joop! fragrance that smells like bergamot or hazelnut in the open, you have the EDP. These reviews are for the Parfum. It does not smell like SWY. It has lavender, Iris, Praline, Vanilla & Tonka. That is exactly what it smells like too. The Parfum is an incredible fragrance that smells nothing like the OG Joop! Homme. This Parfum is a beast on performance as well. Many of the reviews listed here are talking about the EDP. Please pay attention to what you have. If you get your nose on this scent, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I really like this! You can't go wrong with this one. Don't be anxious about the opening, because it could be a little bit harsh or synthetic. Give this time to calm down and dried down on your skin. Trust me this will be ready when you go out! The notes just speak for themselves. Beautiful aromatic, powdery, fougere scent with a hint of iris and lavender, The Vanilla, tonka, and praline just make the blend perfect. Update: On my skin, the praline, vanilla and iris creaminess gets dominated after 4-5 hours.

A gorgeous and VERY sweet floral vanilla fragrance. Similar to Cavalli Uomo with a Joop DNA.and iris. Longevity and sillage excellent as you would expect with an EDP and the color of the juice is lovely. I got this as a blind buy and it really is a great one. If you like sweet perfumes, this is one to try. I love Joop Le Parfum - now in my top 10 *update* Be aware - this is ultra sweet*

First of all.....I DESPISE the original Joop! Homme. But this Le Parfum is a stunner for me......I love it. Not overly sweet (IMO) and not to powdery...just an equal balance on my skin. The iris/lavender is "dry"-ish...but smooth. There is also a somewhat vanillic twist here too. The performance is great so far. Now I am on the hunt for the hard to find Joop! Homme Eau de Parfum too !!

Took a big risk buying this after the disastrous Joop EDT blind buy. Oh boy this is totally different and surprisingly it’s very good. Cozy and warm scent. Take note the Iris here is not the main player unlike DHI, UOMO or Prada. I get mainly a creamy praline and vanilla and strangely some cacao. It’s not overly sweet. The sub par rating is probably due to the bad reputation of EDT

Wooooow this is fantastic! It’s like a more refined version of Stronger With You Absolutely. Sweet but not too sweet. Smooth and just a touch of iris & lavender. I’m really digging it. This won’t be entirely unique on the market but damn is it done well! Not everything excellent has to be truly original. It can just be better executed than what came before it. Well done Joop!

Great fragrance. Amazing quality and performance. People just hate on it being a Joop! fragrance but no valid reason. It's a sweet gourmand fragrance that does great in the evening for a date or party. The vanilla with the lavender is simply beautiful. This fragrance takes all the best from all the Joop! fragrances and pushes it out with the parfum concentration. Just get it!

This has tons of powdery Iris on top, mixed with a nice, slightly earthy lavender. It gets more "caramelized" as time passes, and indeed gets closer to the "Stronger with you" DNA. This Joop does smell more elegant and polished though, and not as sickly sweet. I guess Iris gives it a little bit more airiness. It’s very lovely, once in a while, in a cold environment !

Very sweet Vanilla with plenty of Iris and Praline in the base notes. I have never tried any other joop (edt or edp) however I think this is pretty wearable compared to the original as I have heard that one is overly sweet that its almost headache inducing. 9/10. Bottle and sprayer are very nice. Color of juice is also lovely. Got lucky finding this for sale.

Absolutely fantastic!!! Best value ever !! Rich, long lasting It has like a Cherry Halls undertone layered with Iris and tonka and all the good stuff Smells devine. I bought a 125ml bottle two days ago I can't believe how good it is Has nothing to do with the OG (luckily) It is a super gem and for the price of £30 (~35$) for 125ml it's a true King Wow!!!!!!!

Joop! Homme Le Parfum is a deeper, more refined take on the original while still keeping that bold DNA. It opens warm and slightly sweet, with a smooth blend that feels rich and comforting. The darker notes give it a more mature and elegant character as it develops. Performance is very good, with strong longevity and a noticeable but controlled projection.

I dont get the stronger with you comparisons. SWY is much sweeter, this one is sweet but has a little bit of freshness. The iris isnt strong but its noticeable as a background player. I like it. I wouldnt pay more than 35 USD for it though. If the price drops i might buy in the future. Projection is moderate and lasts about 6hrs.

Another masterpiece from Joop, especially the opening is absolutely amazing. It develops into something very similar to Armani SWY (not sure which one exactly), but I definitely prefer the Joop. I can't decide if I like it better than the orginal Joop Homme, but both are a must have for me for the fall and winter seasons.

A gorgeous fragrance that smells more expensive then what it costs even at retail. It's yummy I get chocolaty, powdery caramel goodness. Intamate, inviting and mature not at all loud or juvenile. Honestly I see myself wearing this all year round with moderation on the sprays This will be excellent on date nights

Let me start by I was pleasantly surprised with this perfume. Nothing like the original. This perfume is a combination of the sweetness of "Stronger with you" and the powderiness of "Dior homme" iris notes. Longevity is great but projection is moderate for about 2 hours. 29-AUG-2023

I grabbed a bottle of this from Superdrug in the U.K. - I think it’s an absolute masterpiece. It’s sweet but the Iris really balances the sweetness. If you like sweet scents then I’d say it’s blind buy worthy. I’m surprised at how strong the Iris is, perhaps it’s just my skin?

On my skin last quite long, I will say around 8h, on clothes more. Silage, is nice and if you want to know or make an idea about its flavour, is something which very similar with Diesel BAD intense. A bit sweet, but in the same time perfect for a night out. Worth a blind buy.

Definitely much nicer than the edt version. Not sure what people are smoking but for those that say it doesn't remind them of swy are just not being truthful. Smells similar to my nose and will be enjoying this fragrance the rest of the winter.

Fantastic in the cooler months, lasts a long time, projects very well and very edible, what more could you want? 100% a safe blind buy if you're into those sweeter and cozy fragrances and still worth getting if you're not. Easy 8/10

Very, very smokey night time scent, doesn't live up to the original (first formula), but it could've been worse. Nice black box with golden inscription, and i like that they kept the bottle shape of the original.

This is the 'XO' of the JOOP line. Smoother with great longevity compared to the EDT. Different scent profile vs the EDT as well. It's a love it or hate it thing. I'm not a fan of the EDT but I like this!

So, blind bought this juice today based on some reviews. Wow. It's REALLY good. Like a mix between Invictus and Stronger with you. Sweet and powerful scent. I absolutely love it. Highly recommend it

This is just an amazingggg fragrance done to perfection. Nothing wrong with it and it performs really well. It’s in the same family as SWY but still unique and does its own thing. Love it!!!

Kinda if you took the iris from Dior homme Mixed it with Stronger With You in the mid And a dry down with Valentino Born in Roma You have this. Cheat code of a fragrance

Really nice. A bit scratchy in the opening but dries down to a gorgeous sweet cherry pie sprinkled with iris and lavender. Super strong too for a really cheap fragrance.

I have tried many Joops - this is the best. Lavender and iris blended beautifully with vanilla. I had to order and second bottle. A fabulous potent sweet perfume.

Nice sweet fragrance, in category of Armani Stronger with You & Azzaro Most Wanted Lines, but of course at a much affordable price. Great longevity & projection.
