Joop! Jump

Joop! Jump is a weird scent. It feels aquatic to me. Out of the many reviews on here, it only listed as an aquatic like fragrance, once. That said, it feels like a floral aquatic. To me, it is basically a Joop! like precursor to two aquatic fragrances that I love that would come out later. To me, I get Paco Rabbane Invictus though this is easily far more floral, more sweet but less watery and Davidoff Cool Water Night Dive when you take out mint and like Invictus, it is also less watery but more floral and sweet. Especially due to heliotrope and tonka, I say it is those two scents mixed with what I love about Joop! Homme. Now I can see why people would not like it, it is sweet. Most men don’t like sweet fragrances. That’s fine, they can use something else because I have a soft spot for sweeties and this lives up to that hype. Joop! Jump can be cloying sweet but to me it is lightened up with the heliotrope. To me, heliotrope did a similar job in Joop! Homme as well. That said, Joop! Jump is far more usable with spring, summer, even early fall use in both day time and night. Even in a work setting, while Joop! Homme is reserved for clubs, dates and maybe dressed up settings. Joop! Jump performs like you’d think a Joop! scent should. I can get up to 10 hours from this summer beast with pretty good nearly heavy level moderate projection. This is where it is in the Joop! Homme and Invictus territory even more. The scent is relatively strong into about 4-5 hours in. Very great for a $16 blind buy. I find Joop! Jump a love.at a 8.5 out of 10. I honestly love its mix of notes and what it is but it smells like other fragrances that somewhat does what it does but smell a little better or can perform better.

Very nice fragrance for a cheap price. The opening of grapefruit is tempered with some gentle spices. After 2 hours this fades to a mainly vanilla and tonka combination close on my skin and smells very pleasant to my nose. My wife likes this one on my skin. I get at least 6 hours of longevity out of this fragrance on my skin and much longer on my clothes, but most of that time it’s an intimate to moderate silage for me. If you like Versace Eros or Davidoff Cool Water, you will probably like Joop Jump. This one shares a small amount of DNA with them, but is still unique in its own way. This is quite versatile, for average temperatures , but might be a bit cloying in summer on the hottest of days and a bit weak in winter. For me, this is an easy blind buy when its on discount. I’m over 50 and I think this one is probably more suitable for guys under 40. But, hey, if you like it really doesn’t matter.

Although it is synthetic, it smells great to my nose. This is a great cheap vanillic fragrance if you don't like other JOOP! fragrances such as Homme. Very nice potent vanilla, powdery scent that is worth the bang for your buck. Let's talk about the performance. On my skin, i get around 6 hours with a medium projection. I recommend this for daytime use. This works best in the spring, but you can get away with this in the summer as well. To my nose, this smells like if Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme had a baby with Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male ( the original ). But some people might not agree because JOOP! Jump is more synthetic and worse smelling than both of these, but its a nice scent tbh. Overall: Scent: 8.5/10 Longevity: 6.5/10 Projection: 6.5/10 JOOP! Jump: 8/10 This is $20-30 on various discounters, Its worth it if you are getting into collecting fragrances.

I wore this fragrance about 15 years ago. It holds a lot of memories and one I hold close to my heart. It get a lot of hate for no reason.. it’s a clean fresh scent perfect for the hot weather and has the vanilla scent from the Tonka which makes it great for the colder weather. I just bought JUMP again for the first time in 15 years. The bottle is different now and possibly reformulated? I remember this being a lot stronger but the scent is still the same just weaker. The smell flooded back memories from my youth when life was good, no problems and no worries. I might have to try and find someone selling the original even if it means paying more. Overall a great scent and it will still get you compliments in 2025

Just read about and found the NEW reformulation of this fragrance in a bottle that resembles Joop! GO (green bottle) except its clear with light blue liquid.... Also the sellers that DO have this on ebay are charging $80-130 for this bottle and I just cant and wont. I AM after Joop! Jump Summer Temptation or Electric Heat . Just because I havent smelled them yet and want to see what the difference between them would be. I have a Joop ! Homme Electric Heat and its Saffron & leather is dominant with the original Homme DNA barely noticeable in the background. Im just a fan of Joop! House ut have yet to get others like WOW or GO due to the spicy pimento notes listed.
