Wow! Eau de Parfum Intense For Men

This is a pretty nice fragrance, quite interesting and smells way more high quality than I was expecting, it's probably the closest thing to a niche scent that Joop has released (although it comes across more like a high-end designer fragrance). It's like if One Million Prive grew up and got a job in an upscale office, with slight nuances of Azzaro Wanted By Night and Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Gold hidden throughout as well. Once you hit the drydown, the chestnut and iris accord start to become major players, taking the fragrance more in the direction of By The Fireplace, although it's more powdery (in a good way) than smokey. During the initial couple hours of this phase though, the cinnamon will cling on for dear life after the orange fades, maintaining the spiciness until the mid dissipates and you're left with that starchy chestnut-iris. Performance has been passable so far, although I'm still only on my initial skin test. It's been about five and a half hours since I've sprayed the back of my hand, and the fragrance is still there even after washing my hands once, although I don't think it'll stay much longer than an hour at this rate, maybe an hour and a half tops. The projection is more of a sillage trail than a bubble or cloud, which suits the soft-spicy character of the scent rather nicely. I could see this one being a good option for dates, or maybe even as a scent for the office during the colder months. Since it isn't very strong, I'd even say you could pull it out in spring if it's not too hot, but I'd avoid it during the summer. i like the original better than this one tho this one performs much better. the problem with this one is the first hour or so it has i think because of the iris some kind of smell. the dry down is actually pretty nice. but the opening stays kinda long and i dont like the opening that much. the original smells more pleasant but performance sucks on that one.

We've had it here in the UK for over a month. A much better rendition of the original. Fairly good staying power and projection, but really nothing groundbreaking. Pretty cheap though, so may be worth a shot. Certainly suited for cooler weather. Not a bad release.

Not so impressing sadly,weak performances.Sweet nutty fragrance without too much inspirations,worth to be bought at cheap prices.

I-ris I never smelt this. ITS SO POWDERY. Way too much iris. Smells like someone who uses way too much laundry detergent but not the fresh kind the really stuffy headache inducing one.
