Because Of You

So I have been eyeing this perfume forever now and after seeing it countless times at Tjmaxx...so the other day I saw it and it was the last one!! So yeah for $6.99 I couldn't pass it up this time. This kinda reminds me of Viva La Juicy & Nicole Polizzi Snooki perfume,it would be like their little sister lol but can hold its own...plus the bottle is elegant & cute. Its a fruity citrus with hints of vanilla I like it a lot!! This one make a great spring/summer scent....the wear/longevity is moderate on me and the sillage is moderate after a few hours it fades but you can still smell it. *The 1st time I wore this my husband complimented on how good I smelled & that he really liked it on me. I don't think this perfume is just for teens or juvenile at all,I think anyone could wear this and I'm all for wearing what you like! (I'm 41) if I ran out of this I'd get another bottle!

This perfume is not that bad. It is a creamy, soft vanilla scent. It is just fun and casual to wear and I got it at TJ Maxx for $7 which was a good deal. It is not a serious scent but just fun and girly to wear. I definitely recommend it if you're looking for an affordable perfume. ;) Update: I can't tell you how many times a day I have to spray this on me to smell it! It fades away too fast but it smells delicious!LOL

Second review. I love this perfume. I can't stop wearing it. It's sweet but not candy like. It's fruity but not over done. It lasts all day but it isn't loud and overbearing. It is just lovely! I think it is less young than many celebrity scents. Older women can wear it without feeling silly. I barely know who Jordin Sparks is. But I love this perfume. If I had paid 3 times as much it would have been a good deal.

I got the gift set for $9.99... not bad . I love it. I know it says citrus , but the opening is apple to me. That is okay but not remarkable. Whay I love is the powdery, peony and vanilla in the dry down. That wone me. It is sweet and feminine and just pretty too. I don't care who it is by, if I like it I will proudly wear it. I am thrilled with this blind buy!

I smelled fruit in the top notes, but not citrus in particular - just "fruity." It dries down to a beautiful amber and vanilla mix. Projection and sillage are mild - I always wish nice fragrances like this would radiate just a bit more. This is a safe blind buy that is good for all ages.

I got this scent quite some time ago, and I must say that I do not wear it alot, compared to some other scents in my collection. I have quite a few perfumes, and this is not one that I often go to, and there is a reason for that. The reason for that is because it is a generally simple scent. There is nothing extremely unique about it, or something that screams out: "SMELL ME! I BRING ATTENTION TO THE ROOM!" With that being said, I am in no way saying that this is a bad scent! It is a very light, unoffensive, sweet scent! Sometimes, this is just the type of way that I want to smell, and for that, that is why I enjoy Because Of You by Jordin Sparks! I am in school studying to be a dental hygienist, and we aren't supposed to wear perfume in our clinical courses, because they do not want our smell to offend any of our peers, teachers and most importantly our patients. This scent is PERFECT for that! I can wear this scent, and my instructors do not notice a thing! In fact, I have even gotten a few compliments on it! Jordin Sparks is not the biggest start in the world, she was on a singing competition, and has been in a few movies. She is currently dating Jason Derulo, another guy who isn't the biggest star in the world either. With that being said, the promotion for this perfume was not big, and this perfume is not a very well known scent. That is also the reason why it is so darn cheap in the stores! I absolutely love it for that reason! I bought my 75ml bottle of eau de parfum for $7.99 at my local TJMaxx! That is a GOOD DEAL! They also have gift sets that include body lotion and roller balls for $10 - $15 at my local TJMaxx/Marshalls as well! I know that this perfume will be around in my stores for a long time, so I have no worries that if I ever want to re-purchase it, I shouldn't have a problem! The last thing that I would like to talk about is it's comparisons to another scent. I bought Because Of You about 6 months ago. I recently bought another scent by Paris Hilton called "Can Can" that I had no idea was going to smell similar to Because Of You. I like Can Can by Paris Hilton! For me, it's almost like a sweeter version of Because Of You. From what I have read, they have some similar notes. I do not think they smell exactly the same, and that is why I am happy to own both of them. There are some days where I have a sweet tooth for my perfume, and that is when I will grab for Can Can, and there are some days where I want a lighter scent, and that is when I will wear Because Of you. I enjoy Because Of You by Jordin Sparks for a multitude of reasons. Is it my favorite fragrance? No, it is honestly towards the bottom of my favorites in my entire collection. BUT that does not mean that I do not like it. It's a great scent for when you want to be unoffensive, but still want to smell nice! I definitely would recommend Because Of You by Jordin Sparks!

this was a impulse buy for me-I smelled it at Sears, loved it and next thing I knew I was in a checkout line paying for it. After I tried it again at home, I was kind of dissapointed because I realized that it was almost a dead ringer for Escada Magnetism(which I already had)or as another reviewer said, Paris Hilton's Can Can. I think the best way to describe all three fragrances is citrus vanilla with a hint of powder. Its fruity, sweet vanilla goodness. I like all three fragrances but its nothing new or different. Also, out of all three, Jordin Sparks scent has the poorest lasting power of all which I can't stand. It could have been called body spray and noone would know the difference. Nice fragrance but I won't repurchase due to terrible lasting power and the scent itself which is not very unique

A tribute to fans, how nice is THAT? and what a lovely perfume this is. I got this after Christmas and it was very cheap for a large bottle, I had no choice but to grab it, I mean, it's not a deal if ya don't buy it, RIGHT? This is very sweet but has a depth, oh she's a DEEP one...and loud, but not for long. It ends up being a very nice girly fragrance for young and old alike. The bottle is quite pretty. I think the longevity is longer than what one thinks, you just lose the scent on yourself after a short while, so I think it's average. This is a nice one to have if you like sweet scents. There's a smoky note in this that brings this right up to an adult level. I'm sure the younger crowd will go for this more than someone my age, but I'm stickin' to my guns, this is a NICE scent!

I got this for $1.50 at Big Lots----an EDP rollerball and small body lotion! I am not sure why a couple of reviewers said Because of You smells like Fantasy---there is no white chocolate in Jordin Spark's frag, and it is not a gourmand, really. Vanilla notes don't make a gourmand! Mostly I get the orange/vanilla notes and the "boozy" quality mentioned by another reviewer. At first I did not think this scent would be long-lasting, but now it's six hours later and I still smell lovely, plus there is a decent sillage, barely moderate, but for the price I can't complain. The body lotion is pretty good quality, with long-lasting moisture, plus it is well scented. Update: I ended up buying so many bottles of this that I shared some with an elderly friend, who LOVES it!

I can really smell the amber in this fragrance. The opening is a bit sweet but evolves into a more floral scent though it's hard for me to pick out the different flowers because the amber is so dominant. I really like that it is woodsy with vanilla (along with the amber). In the bottle it is too strong and sweet but that isn't how it is on my skin. It really lasts on me and works so much better with my skin than I anticipated. I got this with an extreme discount and if I run out I wouldn't mind spending full price because it is so inexpensive but smells so well on me.

Boy, I'm a little sheepishly admitting this, but I liked it. My only complaint is is staying power. It doesn't have a lot of depth, but it was very nice on me. Not too sweet, not too fruity. Granted it may not be the most complex scent out there, but for the price, it's a steal. I don't mind replenishing often on this one. I really enjoyed the initial spray. Not enough left on a drydown to notice it though, hence the frequent re-spraying. Will I buy again, probably not. Will I enjoy using up what I have, most definitely.

For the price of $7 I could not resist the blind buy. This little number would be great for a young girl entering middle school or high school. It's light and simple and young without being overbearing. For the price I think it's great. I am middle aged yet i'd still consider spraying this on after a bath or shower before bed. It's more of a body spray then a perfume that's why I suggest a great option for the younger crowds - nice light and very feminine.

My friends girlfriend has this fragrance but she uses it like a air frashener in her room. I think this is the smell of a girl that's suppose to be a pretty, young, fun and very girly. I haven't smelled many girl fragrances but I really like this one. Only bad thing I herd some one say its tacky and screams for attention and you really want to get noticed. I still like the fragrance.

I actually like this alot. It is very sweet and yummy; I can smell the vanilla. It's very similar to Can Can as I have that one too. If you like sweetness, like in the line of Pink Sugar, you may like this one too. The value of this perfume is very good. It actually lasts on me quite a while.

Blind bought this for $6.99. It smells nice and sweet but also clean. It is nothing groundbreaking but I like it. I get orange and vanilla and amber. It lasts pretty well, but not great. Still worth the money, can be the perfume I wear when I don't want to use up the more expensive ones.

Couldn't pass this up at TJ Maxx for $3.99 and gave it to my 13 year old daughter, who loved it. I think I could've worn it too, as a pleasant, non-offensive sweet vanilla, but I really like it on her.

I bought the shower gel- this is a deep, warm fragrance perfect for hot showers in the winter. It's not overpowering or strong. It's comforting and not childishly sweet.

This scent is okay. I was expecting a more sweeter scent but its more citrus. I do not really like the combination of vanilla and orange.

i just bought this at marshalls. Didn't love it, but i liked it. It's kind a like a cheaper version of Fantasy from Britney Spears.

This is the only perfume I've had that broke me out. Maybe it was because I got an old bottle, or I purchased the set at a thrift store (of which I do not believe it was a fake scent). The juice is nice, I just could not wear it. I have no clue what its longevity is. Further explanation on the thrift store, I bought it like in 2015 so it wasn't like this is a recent purchase. I don't think they still make it? Also, I believe my bottle leaked or something, because I have a very small amount left and there is no way I used all of a perfume that irritated my skin.
