Accident À La Vanille - Crème De La Berry

What an adorable perfumes! Was a bit worried due to some mixed reviews, but the hype is real! It is truly delicious, perfect gourmand. To me it smells primarily like some delicious biscuits /cookies + strawberries (or strawberry jam... or strawberry cream...). It does not have any artificial milk /cream flavour, which I dislike so it is a big plus. It is cozy, enveloping, very tasty gourmand, not cloying or overly sweet at all. Im the dry down the strawberry is still there as well as sweetness, vanilla and deliciousness, but it is also a tiny bit woody (guess sandal or styrax), but it is not bothering me at all and barely noticeable, unless you really focus on it - and I hate woody scents in most cases. Actually, drydow reminds me more of tea, like strawberry bobba tea 😍 and still, biscuits with strawberry. l wish it was stronger, but even with moderate performance it is still well worth it!

I was testing a sample of this and told my sister to give me a sniff. She practically stuck my arm up her nose to inhale as much as possible on the second sniff. I think it's safe to say she liked it lol. Straight out of the bottle it has a strong berry scent. It settles down into a light berry and vanilla creme scent that kind of reminds me of berries on french toast. Some reviews say it smelled artificial, but on me it didn't have the fake vibe. Overall, I would definitely buy a full sized bottle.

Creme de la Berry smells like strawberry cheesecake upon application, and then dries down to a creamy, lactonic, buttery strawberry vanilla. To me this is pretty different from Accident a la Vanille, which I also own and adore. Creme de la Berry reminds me of Bath and Body Works Strawberry Poundcake (but yummier!) and Kyse Sérénade aux Fraises, but somehow I like this one more than those two. I am absolutely in love with this perfume!

This is lovely and sweet. The kind of sweet that will make you crave a strawberry cheesecake, a strawberry smoothie and a strawberry ice cream with its crunchy and caramelized waffle cone!! Do I love it? Yes, I do! Is it too juvenile for a woman my age? Yes but I don’t give a flying ......fill in the blank. The only downside is that it gets quite faint too quickly. But still, this evokes pleasure and contentment and I love it 🍓🍰🍦

The opening hits you with a bowl of Cap'n Crunch Berries cereal in milk. The first thought that came to mind after smelling it was Sugar Milk Co perfume oils in Strawberry Milk, Strawberry Cereal, and Very Berry Cereal. On me, it has a very sweet, strawberry, gourmand opening and the dry down is a lactonic vanilla. I adore it! I just got my bottle so I'm going to let it macerate and see if that changes anything.

This literally made my mouth water. To me I first got the strawberry but more like a strawberry compote over a delicious vanilla cake topped with whip cream. Then I looked online and saw what I was reading as cake was the cheesecake. But, to me it smells like cake. To me it reads as pretty foodie. Maybe some people don’t want to smell like food. Wow I think it’s delicious. And by the way so are crunch berries.

I pretty much get a berry pie from this. Not sure I could say strawberry specifically. More like all the berries in a pie or crumble. Absolutely delicious and not fake smelling at all. I’m not sure where other people are getting that. I don’t get any cream or milk, just berry pie or baked berry dessert. I ended up getting a bottle and don’t regret it at all.

Berries Captain Crunch or strawberry Pocky! I do not find it too sweet. I had some Cherry Merry Muffin dolls when I was a child. They had scented muffins. This fragrance reminds me of those scented dolls with muffins. I really like this. Downside is it doesn't project and may seem juvenile, but by far the best strawberry for me.

What an excellent masterpiece for a gourmand lover this is! The sourness of the berry, the yum mine as of the whipped cream and cheesecake- it’s got everything without the cheap sugary vanilla syntheticness. I’m immediately going for the full bottle

The first initial spray is so photorealistic, it's insane. It's a very airy and lovely fragrance once it settles. It's good for everyday wear since, in my opinion, it's nicely balanced.

This does smells like Cap'n Crunch Berry cereal or B&BW Strawberry Pound Cake. It's a milky, sweet strawberry-vanilla fragrance. Gourmand lovers should definitely try this!

The PERFECT creamy/milky strawberry fragrance, can't get much better than this. has the same cereal-y DNA from the OG but with strawberry cream. So delicious!

The berry version of Unknown Pleasures by Kerosene but the strawberry note makes it a bit too sweet but not disgusting and completely enjoyable.

This straight up smells like a strawberry scented doll from the 90s. Very sweet very nostalgic.

To me this does smell almost exactly like BBW Berry Waffle Cone, of course with better projection and longevity than a body spray. And, to me, both of these fragrances smell more like a berry crisp/cobbler than berry ice cream in a cone or berries on top of vanilla cake. I don't know why, but whatever berry accord both of these fragrances use smells "warm" to me, with a bit of cinnamon, exactly like pulling a dish of mixed berries with a crumbly streusel topping out of the oven - maybe topped with a little warm vanilla cream. I get cool-weather vibes from both of these fragrances rather than spring/summer vibes. I'm a little bit underwhelmed by this, even though it's fun and delicious. It does smell kind of "cheap" to me, and I don't get a distinct strawberry note from this - I just smell a general "mixed berry" accord. It also isn't quite as milky as I hoped. And I was just hoping for something more than BBW Waffle Cone but with EDP performance. It also reminds me of Serenade aux Fraises from Kyse, except that I think I like the Kyse fragrance better (I used up my sample so I can't do a direct comparison). To me, Serenade aux Fraises has a more distinct and realistic strawberry note. It's also more affordable than this one.

This is the original with a dose of strawberry....smells very gourmand, edible, sweet strawberry pound cake vibes. This is a very dense fragrance and I would say probably will do better in colder weather. I would not wear this in the summer, but I think mixed with the right combo of body cream it will do nice in the spring. Because it is so sweet, I would not pair it with another sweet smell. Personally I would go for something brighter or tart to create depth and balance. If you are not a gourmand lover, this is absolutely not for you. This is the epitome of a very sweet/foody fragrance. If you're like me, and dig those types of fragrances then this is probably a safe blind buy for you.

What a goddamn journey -- opened to bready - almost toffee-ish, quickly turned into a smell reminiscent of Creme Savers (those strawberry and cream-swirled sucking candies that were popular in the early 00s) and then for its final destination we ended up in Nesquik Strawberry Milk. It has SUCH a lactonic drydown. This is the most strawberry milk scent I've ever smelled. Like squirting WAY TOO MUCH of that strawberry syrup into a cold cup of milk, or buying the premixed version at your local bodega; it is exactly that smell. As an olfactive art, I love, not sure if I'd wear.

I was expecting a gourmand cheescake scent, a realistic one from the cheesecake factory. This smells like cookies with synthetic strawberry flavor, or smells literally like captain crunch, the one with strawberry flavor. Very big let down in comparison to my expectations. It doesn't smell bad, but it just meh. I don't find it to be special and also it could be too cloying in some occasion. I gave it 2 months, I used it here and there until I liked it, but that never happened. I mean I don't dislike it, but I don't like it either lol it's just meh. I decluttered it

It’s like you made a cheesecake interpretation of the classic pink strawberry shortcake ice cream bar - a tart, fruity, crunchy coating over a tangy, creamy interior atop a buttery graham cracker crust. The cheesecake note is uncannily realistic, which is why some people find this gross I suspect. It’s authentically lactonic and if dairy doesn’t agree with you this fragrance probably won’t either. Scrumptious and fun to wear.

This fragrance definitely smells like a bowl of fruity cereal with strawberry milk. I get the crusty cheesecake note and the syntax rounds it out to be a woody but still gourmand dry down. The longevity is MEH! It lasts maybe 3-4 hours on skin and clothes. Even when layering it disappears quickly, so I’m disappointed in that :(. But I will keep it in my collection because it smells so good

Cheesecake with warm berry compote and whipped cream. Gorgeous. Also reminds me of the sweet cereal milk you get eating Fruity Pebbles. Also upon further scent memory scan....reminds me of the crumble coating on the strawberry shortcake ice cream pops. Think this is going to give One Umbrella for Two a little competition.

As others have said, I get Cap'n Crunch crunchberries in milk. You could also say strawberry milk with a pastry, or strawberry shortcake ice cream bars. An artificial berries and cream scent that works in a nostalgic way. It's fun and sometimes that's what I want out of a fragrance, no matter how old I am.

At first, this smells just like opening a fresh bag of fruit snacks and sticking your nose inside! Juicy grape and strawberry. Then the vanilla starts to show up, and as it dries down you're left with a faint strawberry and vanilla. I wish this performed better. Projection is minimal.

Received my bottle 2 days ago and as another reviewer stated, this smells exactly like the leftover milk from a bowl of Cap’n Crunch’s Crunch Berries... A smooth and fun strawberry, milky scent. I will personally wear this to bed as it's warm and comforting.

Agree with the strawberry milk + cereal, and the bbw berry waffle cone. Also kind of smells like a strawberry milk vape? Not a bad scent, it does smell kind of cheap though, like something you'd expect from BBW.

It very much does have an artificial strawberry cheesecake smell. I like it a lot actually. It just doesn’t wow me enough to buy a full bottle. Longevity and Sillage are pretty weak.

I had to update after spraying again. Definitely smells like a candle from Target or just a cheap candle in general. The ones that try to imitate bakery scents but they just smell "off". You know which ones I'm talking about... I do get a little bit of Nesquik strawberry mix and cereal which was the main reason why I bought it but right now it's a little nauseating when I get wafts of it. I was hoping it'd be more milky to counterbalance the synthetic notes. The spray is a fine mist which is nice so the fragrance isn't too overwhelming. My bottle didn't come with the Strawberry print, I don't know why. It wears like a skin-scent (thankfully). I'm still testing it out so no comment on longevity yet. Update: Longevity is weak-moderate. Really not enjoying this scent still. 2/5 I retract what I wrote originally - this is NOT a safe blind buy.

EDIT: wore this for the first time in a long, long while and it has not improved one single bit. Still artificial and icky, sticky over the top super sweet gourmand. I still can’t get over the price point for this BBW candle scent 🫣 I love gourmands. I love vanillas. But this is not for me. To my nose and on my skin, this is a very artificial strawberry shortcake scented figurine from my childhood. While I can appreciate the nostalgia that it evokes, I can’t imagine ever paying 165 for 50 ml of this.

This is like a literal dessert instead of a fragrance. 100% gourmand. It's as if someone opened a container of strawberry cheesecake & shoved it up your nostrils. The styrax is present around the 2 hour mark which helps tone down how synthetic the fragrance is.. however I wish it were present beforehand in the top/middle notes. A palo santo or incense note would also have elevated this to be more of a "perfume". But if you like to smell like food, this achieves that.

The berry actually ruins a nice fragrance here, in my opinion. It is fake and sweet, smells 100% like a Strawberry Shortcake doll head. Having said that, the remaining notes are delicious. The two worlds go to war and there are no victors. The ocean of 90s potpourri berry gets sweeter and duller, and the lovely cheesecake, vanilla, whipped cream and sandalwood can only occasionally bob above the surface before drowning.

Sickly sweet and synthetic berries with vanilla. Reminds of vaping e-liquid formulated to smell like captain crunch cereal. Iykyk. Very nausea-inducing. Not something I want in a perfume. I also agree with the comparisons for BBW Berry Waffle Cone.

it has an artificial smell reminiscent of strawberry wafers, which is nice on it's own but not very close to strawberry cheesecake. i think i would love this if it were a bit more creamy and airy

Yes, I guess it does smells like berries captain crunch, but there’s something in here that smells stale to me, like a cheap fruity incense or an old strawberry little tree car freshner. This brand’s pricing is quite insane considering I’ve encountered indie perfumes with nearly identical profiles(minus the staleness), notably Hexennacht’s Never was a Cornflake Girl. Every note in this perfume smells entirely synthetic which wouldn’t be an issue at a price point of $15-20. $165 is a robbery. I’m noticing that many niche gourmand fragrances resemble more affordable indie creations, yet they’re accompanied by a price tag well over a hundred dollars. Not fooling me. Either way this does not smell good.

I wanted to love this but it smells exactly like strawberry Pocky. There’s a biscuit/cookie with an artificial strawberry cream. Even trying to describe it makes the scent sound good to me but it just wasn’t. I think it might lean a bit sour with the lactonic type note. I like edible gourmand scents but this didn’t have enough complexity nor did I find it pleasant to wear,

I really don’t like any of the fragrances that this house has to offer. They are so artificial and candle smelling that they make me sick to my stomach every single time. I’ve had the same experience with more than 3 of their products. I give up. These aren’t meant for me.

This smells exactly like strawberry hookah in a bottle. Couldn’t get past it. You can definitely smell the graham cracker crumble in addition to the berry in this which is cool, but it’s completely synthetic smelling. The graham cracker is what I assume creates that odd smokiness in this which makes it reminiscent of shisha. I didn’t get that delicious delectable berry/cheesecake thing from this at all. It would be better as a candle. The idea of this smelling like crunch berries definitely got me to pull the trigger on it, but that’s not what this is. It’s a thick, suffocatingly sweet concoction that smelled cheap to me. Like some sort of cheap dollar bin fragrance oil. Let me guess - you heard of it from a fragrance influencer? I bet you they never mention it again. It’s clear this was pushed by Lucky Scent because it was their exclusive. If you’ve ever smoked a hookah (particularly mixed berry or strawberry) that’s what this is. If you’re into that - it’s perfect. My husband thought it was heavy and nauseating too. Needless to say, I sold it. I don’t think this house is for me.

Really like it in the bottle and while wet, it is a beautiful, creamy cheesecake. Then the styrax sets in and it turns into some crazy savory dish I can’t put my finger on right now. Cold tofu skin, maybe? All other notes are gone, completely squashed by the styrax. Someone else said stale, which I also get. All I know is I mostly hate this and wish I could capture the beginning. But for that price? You can do better with many indies and cheapies. The “niche” fragrance hype is so unjustified. Update: after the styrax fades out more, I’m left with a creamy borderline floral sandalwood. A lot more pleasant than previously, but still a no.

i’m having a hard time determining if i’m smelling strawberry or raspberry.. i don’t think this smells like B&BW strawberry poundcake; this smells closer to B&BW raspberry jam donut to me. it disappoints me to say that i can’t smell the cheesecake accord; if anything, i get a funnel cake/donut doused in powdered sugar note. the AALV DNA comes through strongly as well which i love. i think this scent smells more realistic than the other AALV flankers.

This is not natural, fresh-cut strawberries with whipped cream folded in. It’s more like Nesquik strawberry milk with strawberry vanilla cupcakes that have been in the oven a little too long, but still edible. Moderate performance for a playful and nostalgic scent. After a while, and from time to time, there's been a smokiness bubbling under the strawberry goodness making this only appropriate for cool/cold weather for me.

A strawberry bomb, it doesn’t get creamy on my skin at all but I do get a cakey scent from it. It doesn’t want to last on my skin but honestly I used BBW strawberry pound cake cream and it was perfect! It is delicious but not for everyone. Recommend 6/10 for the price this should last longer...in which case I would go to BBW and get something there! Way too expensive for the longevity!

To me, the opening smells similar to B&BW'S Strawberry Pound Cake but with like a more buttery aspect to it and I'm picking up a graham cracker type feel. As it dries down I get more of a mixed berry with the smell of the regular Accident A La Vanille, and the berry smell gets toned down a bit. I saw someone compare it to Captain Crunch Crunch Berries and I could totally see that
