Ciao Bello Pistachio

I am OBSESSED with this scent!! It's the best pistachio scent I've ever tried! The biggest issue with me not buying the full bottle yet.... is PERFORMANCE. This scent is gone in 5 minutes!! For the price point of 165 USD for only a 50 mL bottle, IS a scam. I agree with other reviewers. I'm heartbroken this has terrible projection and longevity, because this could've been my new signature scent... Uggh. Jousset Parfums needs to make fragrances that actually last. I had the same issue with the Creme da la Berry one I sampled:/ Update: Dec 20, 2025. I caved in and bought the full size. The performance greatly improved over time!! It now lasts 5-6 hours on me. I also love the entire wear of the scent. It changes over the hours. Initially I get a blast of photorealistic pistachio macaron!! The opening is my favorite. Then it dries down to a soft gooey caramel-like scent, which is also beautiful! Just wish the opening lasted a bit longer. But overall, I love this scent and the performance is much better than I remembered.

The opening on this is EDIBLE, one of the best gourmand openings out there. Having such a good opening has the drawback that the drydown is not on par with it, but still very sweet and interesting. This is not the best blended perfume out there to be fair, dont expect guerlain blend quality from this, but still interesting. Performance wise, idk why is everyone voting for moderate longevity and sillage, on me this is NUCLEAR and stays on clothes for months. Would I repurchase this, most certainly not, but still a ver edible and cool perfume for the gourmand lovers

Smells exactly like a pistachio ice cream (kulfi) I used to have growing up and loved which me and my dad can only find on the odd occasion now which is a shame, keep in mind I’m only 20 so it’s not like it’s been forever or anything lol. The scent to me is really nostalgic and comforting, I just wish the lasting power was better. The scent here I’d say is marginally better than Pistachio Latte by Theodoros Kalontinis, but PL lasts longer on my skin and is practically a third of the price which is why I bought a full size of that and not this😩

As most everyone has said, the performance leaves you really unsatisfied. Especially for the price. However, it's a pretty yummy scent, extremely gourmand and bready. I definitely smell the marzipan and a true, nutty pistachio note. Not very sweet. My husband, who rarely comments on my perfumes said I smelled like a cookie. So even though the performance isn't long lasting, it does project within the first hour or two.

There is a lot more marzipan than pistachio but Ioved it nontheles. The thing the stopped me from buying it on the spot is that it toned down way too fast, especially the lovely top notes, that nutty-almondy zing, fell flat very soon. What's left is a delicious creamy dessert, not bad but made me reconsider purchase until second test maybe.
