Comfy Ture

I ordered the order new release praline maligne and I wasn’t too interested in comfy ture, until I received a sample with my order. Let me tell you I didn’t expect to love this as much as I do. It’s such a holiday coded scent. It’s sweet, spicy, edible, fresh and syrupy all at the same time!! It smells like a zingy and fruity marmalade with a slight bitterness to it exactly like eating real marmalade. You know how the peel of the citrus fruits in the marmalade has this specific sweet and rich and bitter taste? Comfy ture has that exact same quality. It also has a warm toasted bread and salted butter that works so beautifully with the marmalade. Also, theres a spicy fruit element to it probably from the cranberry. I know the notes sound like it’s unwearable and I honestly believed this would smell so strange and unwearable before smelling the sample, but it’s such a beautiful spiced fruit sugary syrupy but also fresh and fruity scent. I LOVE it and ordered a full size. If you love holiday fragrances then this is perfect. It doesn’t smell like it at all but if you love milano fragranze’s panettone you will love this too. Imagery: You’re wearing a chunky knit sweater and have a christmas cranberry candle lit up in your kitchen. Your windows are open and you have a crispy morning breeze with a beautiful parisian view. On the kitchen table you have warm baguettes fresh from the oven. You spread salted butter over one, then spoon on tangy orange marmalade ontop🥖🍊🎄 Also, this is STRONG and fills up a room

Wearing my sample today and damn this is good! The kiwi marmalade is the dominant note in the first few hours of wear, but I did get a blast of a crisp, crusty baguette on the initial spray. I’m not a huge fruity fragrance lover and you’d have to pay me to eat a kiwi, but I’m loving this! I have one more use left in the sample, and if it performs well I’m definitely going after a FB. There aren’t too many times I can say this, but it’s a totally unique gourmand. Love! Update: picked up the FB from LuckyScent and love owning this! It’s so cozy, perfect for office days and lazy afternoons. Only problem is every time I wear it I crave a fresh baguette with butter and jam.

I do not even understand what’s happening. I think this is the first time a perfume has genuinely triggered an emotional response for me. I cannot even tell if I love it or not. All I know is that part of my brain keeps asking me to reapply just to get that hit again. It’s so unique.

Tangy sweetness with an interesting touch of baguette. This is such an original fragrance that stands out from ordinary fragrances in the gourmand family. I got a sample from a member in a group and now I have ordered a full bottle. Yammie:)

Very cozy and bready in a good way. And not sour, which I did not expect based on the accords/notes. I get a proper French bread scent, with a fresh thick crust - straight from the bakery. It is savoury and jammy/marmalade-like at the same time. Not exactly like food but not overly perfumey either. I barely get the butter note and it is not artificial fake butter, it has a very subtle salty realistic undertone, rather hard to put a finger on it. It is one of my most unique gourmand scents in my pretty large collection. Performance is solid and not over the top, which I think fits the profile. Lovely!
