Fizzy Sorbet

Jousset Parfums Fizzy Sorbet smells amazing. It opens up as a fizzy lime soda capturing all the carbonated bubbles, while maintaining the fizziness as it transforms into a sweet but refreshing cream soda or lime-hibiscus agua fresca soda with non-traditional condensed milk swirled in. The whipped cream note helps create that, and isn't dense to achieve that fresca feel. The hibiscus is very floral in here and the lime isn't so tart. This is one of the few fragrances to succeed at creating and maintaining fizz throughout the scent. Another that hits the mark is J-Scent Ramune (Japanese Soda) which is more of a fresh mint fizz. I don't really get mango in Fizzy Sorbet, but something about the dry down reminds me exactly of Hilde Soliani Mango On The Rocks which was more of a mojito type scent with very subtle mango. The performance is similar with longevity being around 5-6ish hours and a moderate projection that improves as the skin warms.

This one is sure unique, in the way that it’s a true citrus gourmand fizzy drink/dessert while remaining gourmand type scent. The fizzy is fizzy-ing, the sorbet is saying “I’m here”...yes I do wish it lasted a bit longer but what can you do with this summer heat evaporating me and my skin along with it... That Jousset classic vanilla base note (what we spend a lot on) still shines through don’t you worry. Overall fantastic for summer, try the 15ml with Summer Yummer like I did before committing to the full size coming soon. That one is also perfect seasonally, I will write it’s own review for it. I expected it to be more fresh than Candy Shop by Jousset given it is called a Sorbet. However, it is not a watery flavored ice. It is beautiful rich orange sorbet with hints of other fruit and some vanilla + possibly some ice cream. I'm not getting the coconut though and I'm not mad about that at all. Super beautiful, unique delicious fruity gourmand. Performance is truly good, but I feel like if we had to compare, it is outperformed by Summer Yummer and Candy Shop. Totally worth it regardless.

On first spray, it was bright and bold photorealistic sorbet — I loved it! I was then surprised to discover I loved the dry down even more — creamy, comforting, and absolutely delicious. The citrus zest prevented it from being overly sweet like many other gourmands. The only reason I’m holding back from buying a full bottle is because I won’t be able to wear it until next Spring! Unless you live in a warm climate, it’d be hard to pull this fragrance off in fall / winter.

It smells like a grapefruit Izze! It smells fizzy. I love it. Will be picking up in the spring
