Mine is still from the time when it was called “Strange Black Oud”. However, I think that “Hypnotic Leather” is a more accurate description because the oud note is somehow hidden by the leather. Iris, leather, woods and musk are the strongest notes to my nose. The whole fragrance gives a dry and bit sour impression, and I am really glad for the iris in here because it adds some soft powderiness. I am torn between love and dislike because there is something addictive in this fragrance, but I do not particularly enjoy the notes.

Very surprised this hasn't been reviewed yet, I guess I'll be your huckleberry. To me this is a true leather. Like new car leather. Not getting much else, but that's OK. I blind bought a fb based on notes wanting a true leather. Not getting any oud really, but I'm just reviewing the top for now as I just applied. I will update with base, longevity, and projection later. I think I'm going to like layering this!

Lovely long lasting leather great for colder weather. I don't mind wearing some perfume meant for cold weather in florida, where Florida, live, but not this one. Looking to trade
