I don’t think Jousette is for me sadly. I get strawberry cheesecake in the opening but it disappears very quickly. A pass for me.

Total baby wipes scent. Just like the previous reviewer said. It’s a no for me.

I can't explain this from the notes listed, but it smells like baby wipes. That's it. Nothing gourmand. Nothing yummy. Just baby wipes. Glad I got a sample and not a FB.

I'm with the person describing this as a baby wipes scent. It's extremely powdery. Definitely not a photorealist foody gourmand. Huge bummer.

Joussett usually has delicious fragrances and the notes sounded amazing but this smells like body odor.

Starts off with a really strong wave of grapefruit and red currant, followed by the custard and meringue, and after a couple minutes the rice powder comes through. Can’t say I’m really getting cookie or butter from this, but overall it’s a fairly pleasant and unique take on a citrus gourmand. It’s like a creamy lactonic grapefruit/red currant scent so if you’re looking for that oddly specific combo, this is your guy lol. Not going to be a full bottle purchase for me personally and I wouldn’t say it’s a safe blind buy, definitely get you a sample, but I’m also not mad to have a sample to play around with either. Edit: for the SB pastel rumours comparison if anyone is wondering—pastel rumours imo is more intense and a bit spicy and medicinal with syrupy fruits while OMG is more creamy with smooth fruits. But smelling them side by side rn I can definitely see the comparison, they share a lot in common and could be cousins fs but pastel rumours is the wild child while OMG is the laid back home body

I got a sample of this expecting it to be a yummy gourmand, I mean the name would indicate that, but this is not a gourmand. At 1st it's blast of something sweet but very artificial, after about 5-10 mins it becomes a sweet-fresh-slighty fruity concoction that is a bit confusing to my nose LOL I think it might be the butter note throwing me off Not what I was expecting at all, after another 5 mins or so I started to get more of the orris which I love but unfortunately is mixed with a lot of other notes that frankly to my nose they don't go together? To me each note kind of pulls in a different direction if that makes sense LOL also there's something that becomes sour on my skin.. It's a pass!

Guess this is my last attempt with this house. I get no fruity. I do get soft spicy powdery. Not sure if i really get a gourmand vibe. I think Im mostly just pulling the base notes and a tiny bit of fruity which must be the current cause it doesn't smell like orange or grapefruit to me. It's unique though, haven't really smelled anything like it. Maybe I'll try again in a couple days once it's settled down a little.
